The Secret To Entering Your Promised Land

Lance: Welcome to the Lance Wallnau Bible Study Time we have here and Mercedes you’re loving the Word of God. And so, we’re able to do something a little bit different today we’re going to be talking about what the Bible is to say about the times we’re living in and really the strength that you need comes from the revelation of what of the empowerment of the scripture. I got done last week, give you our last broadcast rather. I was talking about the patterns that are in the bible that we have Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles and that these feasts in Israel are a pattern. And of course, at the Passover is in the Old Testament where the blood of the lamb was for the salvation of a house and in the New Testament, we have Jesus as the lamb of God. That’s the salvation or justification feast. If you want to use the biblical language, this is when you become justified, just as if you had never sinned. That’s the power of the blood because you’re actually entering into the death of Messiah. Jesus in your behalf. 

So, Jesus’ death is your death. We live in a day where we’re a little confused sometimes between what’s the role of how much has been done by salvation and how much therapy and counseling and ministry you need. But maybe this will help you out and understanding something. Everything you’ll ever need is in the cross. Everything you need for your victory is already in the cross, because when you were justified, it was your life ended and Christ literally took over. So,that when God sees you, he sees as it is through the lenses of salvation. So, if I put these sunglasses on for instance, if I’m going to be looking at you and I put these lenses on, I see you through a lens and this whole studio here is an amber color because of these lenses. God look at you not as you but you in Christ. He sees you that way.

This is a powerful concept because if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature and it is no longer I that live, but Christ that is living in me. That I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live. When God sees you, he doesn’t see you in your track record. He doesn’t see you doing the best you can. He sees the finished work of Jesus, which is perfect, which is why people of faith sometimes are so those that get this revelation. Because they’re walking and my brother Andrew Womack for instance and brother Cope and this Word of Faith guys, they really get this. That they’re blessed because of what Christ has done on their behalf and they enter into that. That is the fullness of salvation that comes with justification but then Pentecost comes along and when most people miss and never heard of this. Pentecost is when the law was given. But in order for law to be live, you need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. You and your flesh cannot live and please God even if you’re justified.

The old nature, the programming, the renewing of the mind, the strongholds that linger, you need power to be able to renew the way you think and rewire the way that you interact. So, the New Testament Pentecostal power of God was the filling of God so that the law of the Lord could be written in the heart and live by the power of the supernatural. So, it isn’t your teeth gritting. It’s the grace of God which is really translated the steady current of divine enablement, grace. And this is really the Bible word, you don’t hear this talk much, but it’s sanctification. It’s when you’re sanctified. You’re justified in salvation, but the power to be sanctified comes through the Holy Spirit where God gives the ability to renew your mind and your motivation in your heart and strengthen you to exit the old and enter into the fullness of what you received in salvation. Is that make sense?

Now, that’s justified in Passover and the sanctified power of God enables you to be filled to serve God as his vessel to flow with as God‘s messenger. What is Tabernacles? One, two, three. The pattern is, there’s a third feast. In the Old Testament, it was a three-part feast. It was a feast of trumpets. It was the day of atonement and then it was the tabernacle with God for a week with fruit in a temporary dwelling of booze, where you would sit on the top of your home or in a special enclosure that you made to celebrate God. This is speaking of a period of time when Godis coming down to his people, the tabernacle with them and the New Testament does show us a complete picture of its fulfillment because this is the feast that is yet being fulfilled. But I believe that this is justified in Passover, sanctified and filled with God in Pentecost. Then I believe that the church glorified is going to be the glory of God in the third feast and we’re going to move into the glorification phase where God is going to not only fill us. But there’s a double portion of God‘s spirit that is coming upon us to ripen the harvest of nations, which is the day of atonementand souls because that’s the ultimate inheritance that Christ was given, and the church will be experiencing that.

Now, what I’m doing now is from the Tabernacles that was not celebrated, as Mercedes and I were talking during the break from the time of Joshua up until the time of the Jews going back after their judgement and disbursement to Babylon. They went back to Israel and the church is right now really living in. We’re living in the chapters. If you want to look for a perfect parallel where we are today of when they went back to rebuild their house to restore their walls and to be visited by Jesus who came in through the gates of their city in Jerusalem. We’re living in the period of time which Ezra celebrated as the feast of the open book. It’s when he taught the Word of God and begin to unlock the application of it so that they can experience Tabernacles. And the feast of the open book that God‘s about to give the church, the revelations that are going to be coming from the Word of God is going to unlock our ability to enter into the third feast, I believe. And that Daniel was told something rather interesting. He was told in his prophecy in his words by the Michael the angel. He was told seal up the book Daniel. Seal it, until the time of the end.

The time of the end, the book will be open and when the book is open in the time of the end. I believe we’re going to be seeing the feast of the open book. It’s going to be we’re going to see and it will not be anything that contradicts what we already know. It’ll be that which amplifies and explains. Go to Daniel chapter 12 says right here but you Daniel verse 4, “Shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. For many shall run to and fro, and now it shall increase”. There again in verse 9 he’s told again. Daniel says, “Lord, what exactly is this going to happen?” He’s speaking to the angels revealing, he says, when is this going to happen. The angel says, “Go your way Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end”. Verse 24, “But go your way till the end, for you shall rest and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days”.

The sealed book I believe is being open right now and as the seals are breaking it’s interesting in the book of Revelation. When the seals are breaking, the activity of God is released in the earth and I believe God is unsealing things unsealing instruction to his people right now. That’s why Joshua is where I want to go, because Joshua is the book of crossing over into that new territory. You see that another pattern. I’m going to give you another pattern here which is tying it. It all ties together.

Children of Israel, Mercedes, were in the land of Egypt and in the land of Egypt where they were, they were in bondage. I’ll put a pitchfork here. They were in bondage and they were slaves to pharaoh and I believe that this corresponds to the condition that were in slavery to sin and slavery to Satan and slavery to the world system. But what Hebrew children were able to do was go through the Red Sea, which as you can imagine is a type of the blood. And they went through the Red Sea because the Holy Spirit was there as a cloud and its fire and it would they were led by the Holy Spirit to cross over through the Red Sea and they crossed over and out of bondage. I believe that this could be and I’ll put it here and see if I can use this blue.

I believe that this is the salvation or the justification happens when you leave Satan’s control you leave Egypt, you’re now free from Egypt and you’ve experienced salvation. Then the children of Israel had a journey, which the Bible says was like a 6-day journey. It could have been a very fast journey, but they made the journey 40 years of going in circles. And why is that? Well, I think that’s interesting statement for where the wilderness is. In the wilderness, this is the place where they wrestle with the sins that overcame them. You could say that if salvation and justification happen here, this area in the wilderness is where the work of sanctification has to take place where we push past, the works of the flesh. And this is the place where they experienced and they saw the power of God come down on Mount Sinai. They were given the 10commandments and yet even though they saw God‘s works, when they came up to the moment of crossing over into the next territory.

It’s interesting how there’s always like a passage that goes on and this is the River Jordan. When they saw what was on the other side of this land of promise. They saw the promise, but they saw the giants. And because you’ll see here, they did not mix faith with what God had showed them in their unbelief, they went backwards and got stuck in a phase where they were perpetually struggling to overcome but didn’t overcome until God buried them in the wilderness. He rejected them from entering in to the promise because of their unbelief. And so, this thing about faith and unbelief is a really big deal. Saved from Egypt, but died in the wilderness not experiencing the promise. And many don’t make it through here into this third phase place. If this is justification that sanctification then I think there’s an area where there’s a glorification or where the glory of God is and that’s when you finish the work that God called you to do in the land of Prophetic promises.

We’re not going into a promised land. We’re going to the place of prophetic promise where Godhas promised certain purposes and works that you’re called to do. I want to direct your attention to John chapter 17 verses 1 & 2. Jesus says, “Father, I finished the work you gave me to do, and what did I do? I’ve glorified your name”. We glorified God when we enter into the work calls to do and he is fulfilling his promises to us regarding the work. Now, it looks a little bit messy here on the board, exiting the world, the flesh, and the devil. We come into a place of transition which should have been a 6-day journey was a lifetime journey for them. Until a new generation came that crossed over into the land that God promised them and Jesus says, I finished the work. I’ve glorified your name. The work that Joshua’s generation did was the generation that went in to the promises that God gave them.

Now, there remains a promise for us, the Bible says and I want to talk about that now and it’s the promise that entering into God‘s fullness of the work he has for you to do in every generation.There’s this process of coming out of the world coming out of self and coming into the land of promise and you can see here. Go to Joshua chapter 1. After the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua, the son of none. Moses assisted saying, Moses, my servant is dead. Now, therefore, rise and go over this Jordan. You and all these people to the land which I am giving. This is so interesting. The tenses of the words. God says, I’m giving this. I am giving is, what tense? Present tense, past tense, or future tense?

Mercedes: I’m giving would be…

Lance: Present tense, right. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread that I have given you. Years ago, when I had talked to my dad about our family background, I was kind of curious because a man at a full gospel business meeting told me so that God‘s going to use you to reach your Jewish people and I had no idea we had a Jewish background. He said, call your father. Well, my dad had a genealogy which was done by his sister and he had hint from me the fact that his father was Jewish and his grandfather was Jewish. Then I had a long line of rabbis out back there. But he shows me the genealogy the Cohens and the first name of a lot of the men in my family was weirdly enough was Moses. And as I’m going down that list, I developed an appreciation of something, and that is that way back in my own lineage.

The Levites were actually like a teaching tribe in Israel and their responsibility was to teach the people of God about how to receive what the Lord was giving them. Malachi is actually a Levite.The last book in the Old Testament is written by a Levite, who is trying to correct the people about how to receive from God. This is where we get some interesting teaching. I want to give it to you in the Levitical spin for a second, because you probably never heard this. In Malachi chapter 3, the prophet says, the Levite Levitical prophet says, “You’re to not rob God but you’re to bring all the ties into the storehouse that there may be food in my house, and test me now.”Says the Lord is Malachi 3 verse 10. “If I will not open up for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it, and I will rebuke the devourer for your sake. He will not destroy the fruit of your ground. Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field”. Says the Lord of hosts, the Lord of armies.

And as I begin to look at this as a Levite, I started studying it I came up with something interesting. I’m going to give you the translation. Bring all of what God requires from you as the offering into the storehouse where the revelation comes from, that there may be meat or food in my house. The word for food, you look it up, is the word “Tariff” in Hebrew. It literally means freshly torn prey. I don’t read the Bible just for superficial fun. I read it to go for the wealth of the depth of it. And what I’ve learned is that there is meat in God‘s house. If you sow into God‘s house, you will never have a famine of revelation of what God‘s saying and what God‘s doing. There will be meat in my house.

Jesus said in John 4, “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish the work”. What you need right now in this period of turbulence and uncertainty is a revelation from the word of God on what God has for you to do that connects you to the work that God is doing. What is the meat that God has for you, the food that God has for you that enables you to do the will of the father has for you to do? What’s the revelation you need to be able to walk in alignment with the will of the father, so that whatever happens around you you’re in the center of his will. The Lordsays, if you will sow into the storehouse, and this is the fascinating thing. And try me now in this. Most Christians like quote this wrong. It’s like well I’m going to give an offering; I’m going to test God. And what? You going to see if I get my money back. That’s you don’t even talking about money here.

He’s saying food and what kind of food did the Jews need that had food on the shelf? They needed the word of God. They needed revelation. Test me, if I do not give you revelation such.Now watch this, that I open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there’s not room enough to receive it. Mercedes, what the Lord is saying is see if I do not give you such a copious download of my utterance that you can barely keep up with it. I know that at times I’ve been with like Bill Johnson or various other teachers and they start going, and once they start going on that revelation, it’s like I turn around. I go, hope this is being recorded. I can’t keep up with it. It’s not that they’re talking fast. It’s that the windows are opening. My comprehension is expanding.

The Lord is saying, test me. Sow into the storehouse of Revelation and I will release to you the meat and the food in such copious quantity that you’ll hardly be able to keep up with it. And that word for blessing is even a powerful word. If you look at it in the Latin, it’s the word “Benediction”. The word “Bene” is good. “Diction” means utterance. See if I will not open up for you such an utterance about your business. Such an utterance about the real estate. Such an utterance about the investments. Whatever area you need to succeed in life, God is the secret.The word and God‘s voice is the catalyst and you’re sowing into the right anoint releases something and God says, test me. Test me, if I won’t respond and tell you what you need to know. This is the best part of it.

When you get revelation from God and what you need to know, God gets involved with the spiritual warfare that is trying to hinder your harvest. I will rebuke the forces that are devouring your health. I’ll rebuke the forces that are devouring your family. I’ll rebuke the forces that are eating up your finance. I don’t care what kind of economic scenario goes on in the world. The people that know their God should be strong and do exploits but their strength comes from the meat. You don’t need milk. You don’t need crackers. You don’t need cake. You need freshly torn prey. That’s what I want you to consider right now. This is a storehouse ministry. I have no doubt about it. I hardly ever talk about it and since I do a lot of resource raising fundraising for friends of mine and ministries. Very seldom do it for myself. You guys can attest. I’ll talk for hours before I even bring up the subject like this, but I’m coming on the front in right now because the Lord is telling me something. For many of you, you need to be intentional about sowing into the meat in due season that God has for you.

I want you to partner with me. Partner with what we’re doing. Partner with the anointing that is here, because you know how I got this greenery. I got it because of 40 years of practicing this as a Levite. So, I don’t really struggle in terms of what the Lord wants to say. It’s like I could be like an oracle at times. People could squeeze me like a sponge and what is needed will come out and it’s because the grain is in there. Mercedes: Yeah, I was just chime in because you a lot of times won’t toot your own horn about the stuff that we actually do here at the ministry. And one of which is we’ve decided to do arena events with Mario Murillo. As the number’s person on the team, those are not cheap events to put on. And so, we haven’t even done a fundraiser for this we haven’t asked for this, but this is one component of what we do here. I’ll tell you right now the cost of doing that event in a major arena for 8,000 people AV on a budget is close to $300,000. We want to commit to doing 4 or 5of those next year. That’s the vision that I really think you should start casting outside of your ministering the word of God. There’s big vision on this ministry, and not even the arena events but this type of a message. I want to see this on Daystar. I want to see this on just Secular Networks. Why don’t we buy time on a Fox network and put teaching like this out into the world so people can come across it.

So, it’s like all of that has an intrinsic cost to it. I mean, I’ve looked because you don’t do it a lot of times but like a media buy to go into a Fox market in Houston is almost $5,000 for one airing. That’s one time. I mean, there’s real cost to bringing the word of God and the message of God out into the world and in the marketplace. So, I just want to I want to cast that vision. I want to say like there are things we’re looking to do here outside of just coming to you guys every single day with great teaching and like the latest, hey, what’s happening in the news headlines. We reach a lot of people and of course, Annabelle’s Furnishing Families which is like the hands and feet of Jesus in this ministry.

I think the two you together. It’s just really beautiful picture of you speak to kings and authorities and rulers and the and address the principalities over nations. And she’s over here ministering to the homeless and the single moms and the orphans of the community. So anyways, I know you don’t always brag about stuff, but I think it’s really important that we talk about partnership. There’s a difference between donating and partnering. Partnering is coming alongside on a monthly basis. Donations are great too. That’s the over and above. You can probably do a much better teaching on that but partnering is something very special where you’re saying, no, I’m committing to this ministry, to this man, to the anointing that’s on his life and I want to see it brought to its fullness, over the next 10, 20, 30 years. How much longer we’ve got you?

Lance: Yeah. Squeeze that sponge for whatever it’s there, but here’s and it’s the truth. My burden for you is that you get the revelation. You get the meat. That’s I think is the priestly interest is that you get that impartation that you get the knowledge. Because my people perish not for lack of anointing or sincerity but for lack of knowledge and that knowledge will set you free. But as Mercedes said, when you’re partnering with us, the benefit to you is you’re partnering with that anointing, that releases to you the ear to hear and unlock the mysteries of God. On our end, what we do with that is we invested in reaching the multitudes can shift America. Those arena events, those tent meetings, they require a tremendous amount of 20, 30 churches, thousands of people, thousands of souls saved. But as you know Mario and me, it’s a reformation move of God and a revival and you’re sowing into that. That’s what we’re doing with what you sow.

For you, it unlocks something. For me, it releases access to multitudes and that all comes back to you. That’s all part of the reward for you also, the harvest. It’s really a double reward because you’re sowing into that which is affecting thousands of people and you’re also opening up your own ear to hear and it’s a mysterious thing. But this is the way God does it. So, once again it’s “Lancewallnau.com/partner” and I believe God is speaking right now as we were going into the book of Joshua and unlocking the mysteries there. Joshua’s told to meditate upon these words day and night that you might be careful to observe them and so that you make your own way prosperous. So, there’s this idea of meditating on the Word of God, of communing with the Word of God, hovering over the Word of God so that it gets into your consciousness to the point where it can start to direct you.

It can affect your decision making and then you make your own way prosperous. You make your own way successful. And what we’ve been focusing on this week is that Joshua corresponds to the 3rd day church. The church that is crossing over into the third thousandth year period of its existence. 2000 year from Christ till today. The 3rd day, Joshua’s people crossed over on the third day. There’s a reason why. They sanctified for 2 days, got ready, got provisions, crossed over and even when they crossed over, there was 2000 cubits between them and the ark. The people had as a distance and they would cross over into the promised land and then God sealed up the river Jordan behind them and fed them in a new way. No longer the old way of manna. Now, they were eating freshly torn prey in the land of promise and that’s what God has for you.
