This is a special overview and an introductory video created just for you! Nilsa shares how she got involved politically – something she was not even looking for. She also talks about how she believes she has been given the task to help give the voice back to the church in her area and why is that so important.

Critical Questions:

  • What do you think the church’s role is in politics?
  • As a starting point find out who is/are your:
      • Federal
        • State Senators
        • State House Representatives
      • State
        • Governor
        • Senate
        • House
      • City/Municipal Board
      • County School Board
    • When are these seats up for re-election and who are the Republican candidates running in those elections?
  • What campaigns or conservative organizations would your group volunteer at leading up to the midterms? For example: State Republican Party, National Federation of Republican Women, Young Republicans, Political Campaigns, etc.

Weekly Prayer Directives:
Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment as we consider the importance of making our voice known, to not be silent  or allow the enemy to take up residency in the vacancy where the church’s voice has not been. We ask that in the weeks to come – bring those to work along side us, as we work to serve those running for offices across this country. Let us “see” what is in our “back yard” and take those steps to bring the moral compass back into our society. We ask for divine assignments and alignments, and thank you Lord that You direct our paths. Holy Spirit, speak to each one, we ask for strategies that work, and for clarity in our assignments. In Jesus’ Name, amen!
