Have you ever prayed through the headlines of a newspaper?
I grabbed a copy of the Wall Street Journal to talk to you about several of the headlines. Here are a few that I covered:
- President Trump and the government shutdown
- Media’s Russia narrative (perhaps it was just Russian dressing on a salad?)
- Gillette’s ad and masculinity
- China spying on their citizens
As intercessors, in order to know what is going on in your nation and in the world, take a newspaper and read through the headlines. Pray over them with a prophetic perspective. As a friend of mine told me once, unless we know what is going on and have a prophetic perspective, how can we pray?
