Prayer Directives January 14, 2019

  • President Trump – Keep praying despite the increase of opposition, that the “boomerang” effect will take place on all those who come against our President. Pray that despite all of their caustic efforts, that President Trump remains strong. Continue to cover him in prayer for his protection. Pray and decree Psalm 2 over President Trump and that he has times of refreshing and joy despite the debacle of the left, day in and day out. Declare the Shalom of God to rest upon our President day and night.
  • The Persecuted Church – Gospel Church in Chengdu, a church plant of Early Rain Covenant Church, was recently seized by authorities in China. Pray for justice to prevail and for their release. A report has come in regarding one of the members of Early Rain Covenant Church (in China). Brother Zhu Xiaoguang was released after spending 27 days in criminal detention. Let us rejoice in God’s faithfulness over his release, while continuing to contend for the release of those still imprisoned!
  • Government Shutdown and The Wall – Both Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer led the resistance this week including a showing from Cory Booker and other liberals on the left. The media is happily obliging to continue the leftist narrative and the spirit behind it all is attempting to gain full control over the minds of Americans. Pray that as the left continues its hypocrisy that Holy Spirit opens the eyes of His people, as well as others. Pray for truth to shine ever brighter. Pray for those in support of a wall to speak out for the security of our nation. (Please call the Congressional Switchboard at 202-224-3121. You will be prompted to choose to connect with your Senator or your Representative. Follow the prompts and be sure to leave a message if your call is not answered personally.)
  • Women’s March and Right To Life – A recent article was published by Breitbart regarding controversy within the organization who oversees the annual Women’s March. The article states, “Controversy began when one of the Women’s March leaders, Teresa Shook, called for leaders of the organization—Tamika Mallory, Carmen Perez, Bob Bland, and Palestinian anti-Israel activist Linda Sarsour to step down.” Also, according to the article, four of the Women’s Marches have been cancelled. Pray that the event in Washington DC scheduled for January 19, 2019 is canceled or poorly attended. Ironically, the annual Women’s March is the day after the March for Life.
