Michael Avenatti vs Tucker Carlson – When Will This Guy Go Away? | Opinion

It’s been almost a month since Stormy Daniels creepy porn lawyer, Michael Avenatti, received any media attention. Many would be happy if it remained that way but unfortunately, it just isn’t meant to be. In a tweet posted on Saturday night, Avenatti announced that he was searching for witnesses of an alleged assault on “a gay latino immigrant” by Tucker Carlson or his inner circle.

This alleged assault didn’t just happen either, Tucker told a very different story (caution: tweet contains profanity) on his own twitter account. The incident happened last month while he was dining with his adult children at Farmington country club in Charlottesville, Virginia.

His daughter went to the bathroom with a friend and on her way back to the table, she was stopped by a man at the bar. The man asked her if she was sitting with Tucker Carlson. “That’s my dad,” she told him.

He then went on to call her a “wh**e” and a “f***ing c**t”. Carlson’s daughter rejoined her father and brother in tears.

At this point, Tucker’s adult son confronted the man and asked had he called his sister those names. The man admitted that he did, then started spewing more profanities at the younger Carlson.

Tucker finished off by writing that as a father it took enormous self-control to not beat the man with a chair, which is what he wanted to do after his teenage daughter was “attacked by a stranger”.

Contrary to the cynical headlines that are going round in left-leaning media, Tucker affirms that he did not know that the man was “gay or Latino, not that it would have mattered.”

Every time Avenatti bags himself another headline or starts a new media circus, surely I’m not alone in wanting a showed desperately just to wash the sleaze off? Right now he’s running oh for two, this will likely be his third strike. He’s already the boy who cried wolf – in time let’s hope that the media will stop giving him the attention he craves.

Oh, and Tucker Carlson? If his version of events is correct, his family has now twice been attacked in the space of a month.
