Fox News: Rush Limbaugh shared his concern regarding the delay of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court on his daily radio program. The ongoing situation with Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation of sexual assault from over 35 years ago, along with an additional accuser coming forward over the weekend, delayed the vote for Kavanaugh’s confirmation out from the original deadline.
Excerpt from Fox News:
“If the Republicans do not get this vote taken and have Kavanaugh confirmed, you can kiss the midterms goodbye,” Limbaugh said on his show Monday. “You can kiss goodbye holding the House and you can kiss goodbye holding the Senate.”
He said Republicans have already demonstrated that they are open-minded and want to hear Ford testify, but Democrats have continued to try and delay the process and move the goalposts.
“If you guys don’t conduct this vote in defiance of all this and if Avenatti gets one foot in the door to a Senate committee to start telling his story, then you can kind of kiss goodbye Republican chances in the midterms in November.
