Video: Gov. Sarah Huckabee-Sanders Response to SOTU

Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) gave the Republican response to President Biden’s 2023 State of the Union (SOTU) address from the governor’s mansion in Little Rock. 

She began by stating as a mother of three children, she has learned not to believe every story she hears. She said, “So forgive me for not believing much of anything I heard tonight from President Biden.” She listed points of concern that included the dangerous border crisis, out-of-control inflation, violent crime, and called China a threat to our country.

She called for the American public to reaffirm the commitment to a “timeless American idea that government exists not to rule the people, but to serve the people.”

Additionally, she shared a story of when she and former President Trump visited U.S. troops stationed in Iraq.
