Trump Announces 2024 Presidential Run (Video)

The highly anticipated announcement came Tuesday evening from Mar-a-Lago with former President Donald J. Trump, declaring his run for the 2024 Presidential Race. After greeting and thanking the audience, he began his speech with, “America’s comeback begins now.”
Several media outlets known for opposing the President claimed his speech was low-energy. Others, like Newsweek and The Guardian, slammed Trump by referring to the January 6th, 2020, “insurrection.”
While MSNBC didn’t air his speech, others, like Fox News, cut away at one point while Trump was still speaking. CNN broke away before Trump was finished speaking with their own commentary.

During his speech, he laid out his familiar and brand-new policies, which brought the crowd to their feet many times, cheering their enthusiastic approval.
His sense of humor was clearly intact, and while he didn’t go after the media as he did in the past, Trump made several memorable comments, including where he told Nancy Pelosi, “you’re fired!”
