Three Levels Of Glory In The Age To Come

Welcome, welcome to the Lance Wallnau Show. Now, you need to know that this one here is being filmed especially for Daystar. Now, some might see this on some of my social media platforms if you’re following around there on like YouTube or Facebook or Rumble. But this is actually going on 1 o’clock in the morning for the Daystar audience. This is for you because this is the late-night Lance rant and we’re going to be together talking about what God is doing and how it applies to you right now. So, let’s start with the Lord‘s prayer. I got some thoughts that I want to give you on this. It’s Matthew chapter 6. By the way, get your Bible. If you don’t have a Bible, you’re not going to be able to follow along and you need to see where this is. Get a Bible and a pen.

There’s a reason why you’re up right now. God must want to talk to you about something. That’s why it’s a good idea to have a divine appointment right now. Father, I pray. Everyone watching this broadcast will have their environment undistracted so that they can hear what word you want to give them out of this next 30 minutes together. They’re going to hear something that will change their life in Jesus’ name. The Lord‘s Prayer. Matthew chapter 6 verse 9-13. “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. Stop right there. God‘s will being done on earth as it is in heaven is supposed to be the prayer we pray. How much of God‘s will do you think Jesus meant is supposed to be done on earth? It’s supposed to be done on earth just in your spiritual life but not in your marriage, not in your job, not with your children, not with your nation, of course not. But I would suggest to you that many of us are living small and God is calling us to enlargement. If you’re not happy with the way America’s going it’s going to be because the church isn’t showing up whether thy will, be done in America authority.

So, let’s do this again. “Your kingdom come; your will be done”. Well, the question is God‘s will being done or isn’t it being done, and when what kind of will should be done? Should be done on earth just like it is in heaven. Well, what does heaven look like? Jesus revealed it. He was the will of heaven on earth. Where there was famine or no food, he multiplied it. Where there was storms, they ceased. Where there was death in a funeral, he interrupted it. He was the power of the age to come intercepting this age but then he goes on and says, hey, the things that I’ve done, you shall do also. What does heaven on earth look like? There’s only one chapter in the Bible I know of that actually reveals what heaven on earth looks like. Other than, of course, like I just said, you could read it through the life of Jesus but I’m talking about what does the future kingdom actually look like. Let’s go take a look at it. We’re going to go to Revelation chapter 21, last book in the Bible and it say, as though God gives us a glimpse if you will into the future that he wants to make manifest.

So, we’re going to Revelation chapter 21. So, you need to get a Bible because that way you don’t have to wait while I’m trying to find it. You have to find it too. Revelation 21. Now check this out. John in verse 1 says, “I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and there was no more sea. And then I, John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God prepared as a bride adorned for her husband”. 1,380-square-mile city. I just think it’s fascinating that when you wake up in the morning, you go outside, you see that great round glowing object in the sky called the sun. God is so diverse. He says, the circle’s been good. I think we’ll go with a square this time and boom. Now, what’s illuminating the earth, a square is the new source of the light and it’s 1,380 miles like I said.

I was curious is prepared as a bride adorned for husband. There’s so much we could say about that. That word prepared is a Greek word “étoimos”. It means to make ready to make arrangements in addition to its normal use describing preparation for coming events. The word is used of preparing for the Messiah. A blessings that God has ordained. It’s been designed for a purpose. You are designed for a purpose. It’s the adorned for the husband. The bride refers to the church. The church is designed for an ultimate purpose. What’s the ultimate purpose of you? To be a co-ruler with Christ. He sitting upon the throne at the right hand of the father and you seated with him because the mystery is a bride and a husband. The two become one. You’re seated with him on the throne governing the universe.

Now that’s what you’re supposed to be seen when you pray, “Thy kingdom come thy will be done”. You see Christ sitting at the right hand of the father already having authority over the earth and you got to see this city is coming down out of heaven in the future and we’ll come back to that in a minute. I want you to take a look at this. Verse 9 says, “One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me saying,“Come, I will show you the bride the lamb’s wife”. The fact that those two ideas are joined in one sentence should give you some thought that you could look at the last days with its plagues, with its judgments, with its tribulations or you could look at the bride, the lamb’s wife. Because this angel is carrying the judgments but says, hey, take a look at this. You should be looking at the future that God wants to make manifest. “He carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain”. Oh, there’s mountains again, mountains all the time. “To a great and high mountain and showed me the great city, the Holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God”. So, you see this is coming down.

Now I’m spending some time on this. Because I wanted to stimulate you. I’m not trying to give you crazy doctrine. But you’re going to find out. There’re three groups in the next stage. And everyone isn’t in the city. It might be that I know we Christians don’t like to talk like this. But it might be that there’s three different glories in the resurrection. Remember Paul did say that there was going to be different glories and different levels of glory in the resurrection. The glory of the sun is one, the glory of the moon is another, the glory of the star is another. He’s talking about 30, 60, 100–fold. If Jesus has rewards in the age to come, it might be that some of those rewards have to do with where you’re positioned in the government of Jesus in the age to come. I think that’s one of the incentives Christians miss in this life. That you’re not living for this life. You’re living for that.

So, you’re living for proximity to the lamb. The lamb is in that city. We’re going to find out and remember what James and John when the mother of James John go to Jesus, they say that master I want that you would have my sons sitting at your right and your left hand in your kingdom. Whoo, and the other disciples were all mad at that. You know why? Because this Jewish mother was trying to get her Jewish boys positioned and promoted to seats of greater authority than the other guys. This caused division immediately because sitting at the right hand and the left hand of Jesus means you have proximity to the throne it’s kind of like being a vice president next to the president and so Jesus said, I do anything for you but unfortunately that’s not my department,my father’s going to determine that. And then he had to deal with the disunity with all the disciples because they were upset when they heard what James and John’s mother did. This is right there in the Bible.

But what I want you to catch right now is and it’s so important that you see this. That this bride the city is positioned with citizens walking on the earth. There’s a new earth. People live there and then there’s a company called kings. I’m going to show you in a second and kings evidently have dual location. They both go to the city and they have authority on the earth. Now this is fascinating. We never hear this. “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. What does heaven look like? I’m describing to you a picture of how God wants things to happen. So, we got to turn the now we go we see something about the city, “The 12 gates verse 21 are 12 pearls, each individual gate was made of pearl and the street of the city was pure gold like transparent glass”.Pearl is not like gold. Gold is made without any living organic interaction. It’s just buried under the earth under the heat of pressure over a period of time gold is formed. It has its own unique properties that have endured since the beginning as a symbol of glory.

You see it in the first two chapters of Genesis. Interesting that it up in the last chapter of Revelation, because they’re connected. But pearl, pearls not born in the furnace of the earth doesn’t come out of a mind. What is a pearl? A pearl is formed by suffering. Remember Jesus said or what the scripture says, it is through much tribulation that we enter the kingdom of God.Jesus said to the disciples, oh fools and slow of heart to believe. Did you not see that the Christ must suffer and then enter into his glory? The apostle Paul said, I am making up for you what is lacking in the sufferings of the body of Christ. This suffering is something which we’ve almost created a false doctrine around as though you’re out of the will of God if there’s suffering. But on the contrary, a pearl is formed by a grain. A grain that gets into the tissue lining of the oyster and the oyster is agitated. The oyster wants to get rid of it. The oyster however secretes an enamel around the grain in order to make it tolerable. Then over time the enamel begins to bother it and so it secretes more. It secretes more until it forms this perfect gem, this pearl.

Now, the pearl is something of value that comes out of an irritant that is transformed into something valuable through a process. That’s why the gates are made of one pearl because it was Christ’s suffering for us that gave us access to the city of God and the pearl symbolizes that. But that’s not where I want to go. Where I want to go is verse 22. “I saw no temple in the city for the Lord God almighty and the lamb are its temple”. The Lord, God almighty and the lamb are the temple. Remember what Jesus said, in my father’s house or many mansions? That wasn’t true. I would tell you. Evidently, God himself is like a great house with many rooms and the temple is him. “The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it for the glory of Godilluminated it. The lamb is its light”.

Now, this is just a thought but what if, remember Rick Joyner teaching this once. He said, what if in the resurrection, part of the rewards is of course glorified bodies but that you have different capacity. Suppose the whole unveiled glory of God and his splendor would be impossible for you to be in the presence of unless God adapted you to be able to be likewise filled with his light. Well, it might be that there’s a company of people that actually are in proximity to the throne of God to Jesus. The Bible refers to it in Revelation chapter 12 as these are those that follow the lamb with us whoever he go throughout the earth. They’re a company that’s being formed in the last days. They’re the entourage of the lamb because something happens here. I want you to see what goes on. “The city had no need of light. The lamb is its light and the nations”. You want to circle that word “nations”, because we don’t have any theology for nations.

The Christian community for the most part has been so focused going to heaven instead of praying, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Instead of seeing nations as something that God wants to do something with, we look at it like nations are irrelevant, the antichrist comes,Jesus comes back sets up the kingdom and we go to heaven. Now you don’t go to heaven you come back here. It’s a new earth. You’re either in the city or you’re here. You’re not floating around in some 5th dimension of nirvana up there in the cloud. “The Nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light and the kings of the earth”. Read that. Underline that. There are earth dwelling authorities. There are those you’re going to see in a minute who live in the city and visit the earth and those that live on the earth that visit the city. You probably never heard that before but it’s right there.

“The nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it”. Bring what? The glory and the honor of nations. This is fascinating. That the Kings are the curators of each nation of that which is being developed which they you’ll see in a minute. They bring that glory into the city and they present the innovations, the developments, the activity of the nation and they present to the city what they’re cultivating for the glory of God. “Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth”. How many of you are actually kings and priests with authority to come to the throne of grace? The city in heaven right now, that place up there, to go by the spirit but for the throne of grace and to come down with the commission to cultivate something on the earth for his glory. The parallel is right there.

“The nations of those who are saved”. Evidently, these are saved people. You could also say saved nations. “The kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into the city. Its gate shall not be shut at all by day. There shall be no night there. And they shall bring here it is again the glory and the honor of the nations into the city. But there shall by no means enter anything that defiles or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the lamb’s book of life”. And the lamb’s book of life. Fascinating subject. The lamb’s book of life we simplify down to being just who is going to eternity and who is not. But I would suggest to you that the book has many books within it. The book has different sections within the book life. For instance, if you want to see something really wild in the last days, people get discouraged, they get frustrated, they this great falling away the Bible talks about and you were going to see some really contradicting events happening but I’m telling you, if you can get your eyes on the prize of what God‘s doing in the nations, you don’t have to fall into discouragement because it’s the most exciting time in the world because Jesus is doing something in nations right now because the nations belong to him not to the devil. We’re going to see that.

So, take a look at this. This is a wild verse and it’s there in Malachi and it’s in Malachi and as you read through this this last book in the Old Testament, it talks about verse 16. John 3:16 is thelamb’s book of life. You have to be in that book to get to heaven, but I’m saying there are other books within the book. Why do I know that? Because Jesus says, “The books shall be opened”.Plural. Verse 16 says, “Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another. And the Lordlistened. And he heard them. So, a book of remembrance was written before him”. There’s a book. A different book. Remember the books shall be open. There’s a book of remembrance. “And it was written for him for those who feared the Lord and who meditate on his name in the day of the great testing on the earth”. Wow. I want my name in that book Lord. I want to know what does it take to have the fear of the Lord. I know one thing right now. I know that those who fear the Lord find other people who fear the Lord. If you’re around people that don’t fear the Lordthat’s not the right group to be hanging out with.

You want to be around people that actually fear the Lord. And to encourage each other and discuss what’s happening in a context of edifying, strengthening, and building each other because those who fear the Lord and meditate on his name. That Word “meditate” means to esteem highly, to contemplate. They’re thinking. Their mind is absorbed with Jesus and what does the Bible say? God says, put their name down in a book right over there. I want every one of them. Everyone else is moaning and groaning and complaining and falling away. These people are being faithful. These people are seeking about. They’ve got the right I’m going to join that conversation. God joins the conversation of the just. ““They should be mine”, says the Lord of hosts on that day that I make them my jewels and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him”.

On that day, the day they were talking about the great and terrible day of the Lord, God says, I’m going to make them like the pearls. I’m going to reach down and snatch them because they are my jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. “Then you shallagain discern between the righteous and the wicked between one who serves God and the one who does not serve him”. These are great mystery verses but this group has discerning. You know what the number one tool of the devil is in the last days? It’s not Islam. It’s not homosexuality. It’s not the economic mark of the beast. The number one tool of the devil is deception. He goes forth throughout the world deceiving. That’s why there’s so many fertile ground right now for conspiracy theorists and preoccupation with what do you think is going to happen? News is all fake. Government’s lying to you all the time. You find that out all the time. But you see the nature of the devil is to deceive.

But what’s the nature of the company that fears God? They will be given the ability to discern. Righteousness and wickedness. The ones that are speaking the truth. The ones that are lying. The ones that are serving. God are the ones that are fake. And I’m going to catch them up in that day when I snatch up my jewels. There are some people that believe this is the rapture verse. That the rapture verse refers to because that word for they should be mine and I will make them my jewels. The word there in Hebrew means to seize with force. It’s like taking something out of the hand of the enemy. Same to the devil. You can’t have them. They’re mine and their names are in the book of remembrance.

Let’s get keep the connection going. I’m talking about those whose names are written in the book of life are in the city of God. This verse here, “As a man spares his own son who serves him”. That goes back to Revelation 21. Revelation 21 verse 7. Talking about that city. Look at this. In verse 7 it says, “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son”. How cool is that. God has a son like Jesus who is going to be the corporate expression of the overcomers. The overcomers in the last days are the sons of God. You know that verse it says that, all creation is groaning and longing for the manifestation of the sons of God. We’re getting into some interesting territory here. The Earth is in trouble groaning, waiting for the manifestation, not the second coming of Jesus but the manifestation of the fully mature sons and when those sons start to show up, they’re the ones that are going to inherit the Earth. They will inherit all things. They will inherit the nations. They will be the ones that inherit the nations.

Now, what do they have to overcome? The list of things they overcome is in verse eight but you never saw that. Here it is. First, you got to overcome is don’t be a coward. Don’t be fearful. Most of us tend to think sympathetically of fear. Well, I was afraid to say something at work. Well, I was afraid to speak up. Well, Bible says that’s cowardless, coward. Coward, Jesus says that if you confess it before men, you’ll confess it before the father. If you deny before men, they’ll deny before the father. Now, I’ll tell you something. This is not easy. I mean, even the disciples had to pray for boldness. Paul said, pray for me that I might speak the word boldly. You cannot be courageous in the flesh but you can be in the spirit. “They overcame coward. They overcame unbelief. They overcame that which was abominable. Murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, lying”. And these all according to scripture have their part in the lake of fire and brimstone which is the second death. We could talk about that later. The second death.

The first death is when you exit your body. The second death is when you end up at your destination. But focus now on the overcoming sons. And go back to that great verse. ““They shall be mine, says the Lord in that day when I make my jewels. When I snatch them up and I’m going to spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him”. What is this city we’re come talking about up there in Revelation chapter 21. We got another verse here. It says, “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem to an enumerable company of angels. To the General Assembly”. And this is curious. We have a general assembly and church of the first born. Maybe they’re both one group or maybe they actually are a general assembly. “And a church of the first born who are registered in heaven. Their names are written in the city and to God the judge of all spirits of just men made perfect to Jesus the mediator of the New Covenant and the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel”.

So, I want you to see that there’s a thing called the church of the firstborn and I believe that we’re all called to be in the church the first born but the warning in the Bible is that you in order to be in the church the first born you have to stay in possession of your birthright. You have to hold fast to your salvation and this bothers me about the great falling away. I don’t have a theology I want to present you on this going to create any anxiety in you. I just want to say the fear of the Lord is something which is stronger when you realize great deception and falling away is going to be a lot of the pressure of the last days. But those that fear the Lord and serve him will be like the son and God‘s going to snatch them, catch them. They are the church, the firstborn, who are evidently up there in the registered in heaven, Mount Zion, the city of the living God. They’re city people.

Alright, let’s go back to that Revelation 21. It’s pretty wild stuff. All Bible, I’m just giving you the Bible and I’m saying, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God wants you to start looking at that and saying, what glory is God wanting me to release on the earth now that I’m down here. I believe God is calling you many of you to right now walk in the fear of the Lord.Be the church that whose names are written in the book of remembrance that fear the Lord to be able to be citizens of the city. And I’m going to tell you somehow you can get my notes. Only got one minute 55 seconds left here. But I want you to see something beautiful it says. “The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations”. Chapter 22 verse 2, “The throne of God and of the lamb and his servants will serve him and they shall see his face and his name shall be on their foreheads”. I love this. “There shall be no night there, no lamp, or light from the sun. The Lordwill give them light and they will reign forever”.
