Welcome to the Lance Wallnau Show from Coast to Coast. I’m the host, that’s going to be bringing you the most. Value per minute. That’s my goal with Mercedes Sparks sitting here right by me to keep me on track in the event that I should suddenly meander off into some cul-de-sac of non-consequential focus. So, right now, we’re going to start off with a very big story. What’s happening? The Jesus Revolution movie has hit in our particular corner of the world. It’s big news. Did the Asbury movement, did the Asbury visitation, spark the next great awakening?That’s the question is it possible that coming back from the 1970s when the 1970s specifically, when the last Asbury visitation happened it would look like that. Let me tell you the story here Mercedes in case you don’t know. On Wednesday, February 8th a very small but faithful group of Asbury students in Kentucky listen to the nudging of the Holy Spirit and just stayed in chapel a little while longer as they stayed, the presence of God increased. They stayed a little longer. I didn’t know that this revival started with a few students pressing in just a little bit longer.

Makes you wonder how many moves of God, miracles, and manifestations didn’t happen because there wasn’t a willingness to go that extra mile. When Jesus was walking with the disciples than Roto Ameyus, he made as if he would go further. This is a fascinating statement. He made as if the Gospel of Luke says, but they said no, no, no come stay with us don’t leave stay with us and won’t you eat with us they exercise Christian hospitality and when they did Jesus revealed himself to them and went and ate with them and they suddenly realized it was the Lord. So, what I want you to catch is I think there’s a move of God is what the students are saying and it’s a revival that’s happening because people want to be in the presence of God. So, if the Holy Spirit will move outside of raspberry, it will go where it’s got to go.

Now, all the Christians and all the churches are just poised and ready for this but if it hits a secular university, that’s a sign that an awakening has started and now, I’ve got good news for you. Of all the places, the most woke territory I’ve ever seen is Texas A&M University. Texas University, then my daughter graduated from there and it’s too woke to speak of. I mean, her first day in class, she had to introduce all the other students by their preferred adjectives. What? Oh, Texas and where did she go to school? Alright, Texas University, Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi is where the revival is hit. Students at the TAMUCC are now actually saying that the revival is showing up there and it’s the Christians that are picking it up obviously but they’re courageously carrying it over so that more than 600 Texas A&M students attend did a one-night gathering on the campus and a 100 received 51 went into the water to go get baptized. So, you see that? That’s what I’m talking about. It’s already starting.

Carl, find out where your sister graduated from, will you? Just so, I know where it is. Missouri Church, oh no, I don’t want to talk about that yet. I want to talk about this, the movie, the movie, Jesus Revolution. You’re going to go see the movie tonight, Mercedes, right?

Mercedes: I am. Yes. We’re doing a couple’s date night and we’ve decided to go see the new Jesus Revolution movie.

Lance: It’s kind of interesting idea for a date night going to a Christian movie.

Mercedes: We’re going to the Italian place too and then we’re going to go there.

Lance: Going where?

Mercedes: The Italian place.

Lance: Oh yeah, the Italian place.

Mercedes: That you put on blast like the few weeks ago.

Lance: Yeah.

Mercedes: I was like, this is your favorite restaurant. Why would you announce it?

Lance: I go over there with my phone and then I advertise it and then it’s ruined because everybody finds out about it. Next thing my little hideaway, becomes.

Mercedes: Oh, it’s just something you brought on yourself but I think it’s interesting because I think this is a very fascinating Italian that sovereignly, these revivals started and now, timing wise this movie comes out within weeks of all these revivals breaking out. I think it’s amazing.

Lance: Jesus Revolution and also there’s a movie that Greg, what’s his name? Lock has the pastor, real dynamic pastor hasn’t come out in the name of Jesus. It’s a deliverance movie.

Mercedes: Oh really?

Lance: That’s a wild one. I want to see that one.

Mercedes: Did you say it was Greg Lock?

Lance: Greg Lock.

Mercedes: Came out with that?

Lance: Yeah.

Mercedes: Are you sure? I was not out yet but it’s coming out.

Mercedes: Wow.

Lance: I’m serious. So anyway, but Jesus Revolution brought an estimate at 15.5 million in and they were estimating this is one of those Christian movies where they got the guy that played Fraser to play.

Mercedes: Chelsea Grammar.

Lance: Chelsea Grammar, right. He was praying, oh God, I want to make a difference and do something. As you can imagine at 66 years of age, he’s 67 or whatever he’s saying, God I want to do something and this script landed in his lap the next day. He took it as a sign from Jesus.

Mercedes: Wow.

Lance: And he cries all the time talking about it. So, he’s still touched by it.

Mercedes: Yeah.

Lance: Now the guy that they got to pray Lonnie Frisbee. First of all, Lonnie Frisbee is the hippie that was really the catalyst behind a lot of the whole Vineyard Supernatural, Randy Clark, Heidi Baker, all the Nate Redding, Bethel, everything you might know about if you’re in the charismatic Pentecostal end of the swimming pool came out of this hippie movement in the 70s when the Asbury Revival hit bang. It went over the West Coast and hit the hippie commune world and one of the big hippies was out tripping out in the deserts on acid and had a hallucinogenic moment when he realized that his real future was called to be a disciple of Jesus.It’s a weird story folks, I don’t make it up. And from that moment he comes out of it and gives his life to the Lord, gets filled with the Holy Spirit and starts wandering around the hippie places in the beaches having water baptisms. The leading hundreds and then goes to thousands of hippies and people to Christ and so he comes up to his pastor who’s struggling with this hippie guy in front of him, long hair and everything and he says, hey, you got to open up your chair you’re willing to do this. God‘s doing something, you’re willing to embrace it. And so, Chuck Smith was the guy who embraced it.

Now this is a true story, but I wonder what’s weird for me is the guy that plays Jesus and the Chosen the actor great actor. I didn’t expect that he was going to play Lonnie Frisbee, because plays the same. You’ll notice this. It’s the same actor, right?

Mercedes: Yeah.

Lance: I forget his name right now. I should know it.

Mercedes: Oh, is it the one from The Chosen?

Lance: Yeah, from The Chosen. Jonathan Rumi, I think it is. I think his name is Jonathan Rumi and so he, and I wasn’t ready for that because I’m so used to seeing him in The Chosen that it’s like Jesus showing up to do a movie in another for another film.

Mercedes: Yeah.

Lance: Everybody looks at him like he’s Jesus and he dresses the same as Jesus too because he was a hippie. So, I think it’s kind of funny. They got Jesus. They ain’t going to have accent coming at us doing magic mushrooms and psychedelic acid. But what I want you to do is I have something that’s a special treat for you this remaining few minutes that we have in this segment those of you that are in the wonderful podcast that’s nearing 10 million downloads. You talk about two unlikely characters the elegant flamboyant Catherine Koolaman actually had Lonnie Frisbee for an interview with Chuck Smith and Lonnie does explains. It’s just interesting. I want you to see. Those of you that are watching this on YouTube and on Facebook and in various in Rumble you’re, I want you to look at him. Those of you that are listening, I want you to listen to him. Let’s go and play the segment of Lonnie Frisbee meet who he was and then you can see Jesus play his part in the movie.

MOVIE SOUND: One of the young men Katheryn who has been so used of God is Lonnie Frisbee and I wonder if Lonnie could just share with us some now.

Lonnie Sound: Well, the people tell me that I’m trying to look like Jesus. I can’t think of anybody else I’d rather look like. Jesus, he changed my life and I kind of related to like David the Psalmist when he says that thou hast lifted me up from the dung hill and he has placed my feet on a solid rock and Jesus has lifted me up out of a horrible pit. He’s washed my heart from all the sins and all of the evil that I’ve gotten myself into and since then, I’m all cleaned up now and.

Lady: Isn’t that a wonderful feeling?

Lonnie Sound: Yeah.

Lady: And only Jesus could have done it.

Lonnie Sound: That’s right. He’s given me a message in my heart and that that’s a message he says go in to all the world and preach the gospel. He said, “he that believes and is baptized shall be saved and he that believes not shall be damned”, and he said in his word to me, “I would receive power after that the Holy Ghost would come upon me and I waited upon the Lord and the holy ghost came upon me, alright?” Yeah, I got it down to the tips of my toes and so the message is that these are the last days and that Jesus Christ is returning really soon. And the prophet Joel and the prophet Peter said that, in the last days that God would pour out his spirit upon all flesh.And that his sons and daughters would prophesy and that his servants and handmaidens would speak forth the anointed Word of God. I’m a servant of God and I’m a child of God and God is raising up from the very bottom and he’s raising up the foolish in what the world considers dumb and he’s putting his spirit upon him and he’s anointing him and they’re starting to preach the gospel and thousands of people are starting to get saved everywhere.

Lady: It’s thrilling.

Lonnie Sound: It sure is.

Lance: And notice they’re all kids laughing. If you hear the laughter. It’s a youth group. God. Look at him. He’s sick. They’re like 17, 16, 18.

Lonnie Sound: The church for so long has been expecting a certain mold of what a Christian should look like or what a Christian should be or what a Christian should say. God is blowing everybody’s mind. Because he’s saving the hippies and nobody thought a hippie could be saved.So, he’s pulled us up, he’s given us the message, we’re going forth and proclaiming the good news Jesus is coming back repent and turn to the Lord and save yourselves from this evil generation. Because he comes to judge the quick and the dead.

Lady: How has he changed your life, Lonnie?

Lonnie Sound: Well, the Lord says if any man being Christ, he is a new creature all things pass away and behold all things become new.

Lance: I love it. I love it. Sorry, so listen this is Lonnie Frisbee supernatural was what flowed through this young man. Miracles came in his ministry. Phenomenal healings and miracles. It’s what really launched Wimber and the Supernatural Vineyard Movement came off of that. I got saved off of that movement with Lonnie Frisby in 1973. It hit where I was in high school in Pennsylvania. So, we’re going to take a break right now. We’re going to come right back with a segment you don’t want to miss.

Lance: Welcome back and oh boy, this is an interesting story. I don’t want you guys to miss.Mercedes?

Mercedes: Yup.

Lance: Are you ready? Missouri Church foils armed robbery when former police officer pastor spots for.

Mercedes: What?

Lance: Come into the church. He sees the they’re coming into church probably to rob the church,but they don’t know as the pastor used to be a cop and he’s an alpha male and he’s not exactly going to roll over when the thugs come in. The pastor used the power of prayer according to the Daily Mail to stop potential armed robbery and shooting after spotting four-armed men sitting in the pews of his church. Marquelo Futrell, a former Saint Louis police officer was in the middle of Sunday service at the all-Northview Holiness Family Church. There’s a mouthful. It’s the Old Creation Northview Holiness Family Church in Ferguson, Missouri. And the group walked in wearing masks. Now when you see four guys with guns wearing masks, you know this is going to keep an eye on the offering. That’s all I can tell you. Notice the young man. He noticed they had guns in their waistbands.

So, Pastor Futrell used divine intervention. He right away, I mean this is crazy what he does. He like has his men his deacons or his elders recognize go back and you guys’ mind if we pray for you, everybody stay seated. He commands, he commands everyone to stay seated and he basically says you’re on holy ghost turf right now. He lets him know they’re in the holy ghost turf and whatever plot Satan had, there’s a plot shift happening right now. He tells him and he starts praying for him. I think I haven’t seen the segment yet, let’s get Laura Ingram. I think she actually covered the story. Let’s play that segment.

Laura Voice: 2 weeks ago, a group of mass men entered the All-Creation Family Church in Ferguson, Missouri during Sunday service. Pastor Marquelo Futrell, a former police officer, noticed the men were carrying guns in their waistbands. But he kept preaching and secretly told his director to lock all the doors and call the police. Then the pastor approached the men.

Pastor Voice: Who sits out here? I just saw the church and decided to come. Talk to me. Hey, Let’s praise God for them coming. I said praise God that God sent them name here.

Mercedes: Wow.

Laura Voice: Now the pastor wanted to keep his congregation calm but at the same time he wanted the men to know it was onto them.

Pastor Voice: Don’t you play with me. I still got a cop anointing and I still know what’s going on and I still know what’s about to happen. God‘s about to change the plot of the enemy. Lift your voice and shout unto God for what he’s about to do.

Laura Voice: Now what happened next is stunning.

Pastor Voice: Will you guys permit me to pray for y’all? Can I pray for y’all? You do you mind if I pray for You mind if I pray for you? Can I pray for you? Twin, can I pray for you? Alright. They said I can pray for them. Come on brothers. Pray for them. Pray on the auction of the Holy Ghost.

Laura Voice: Bowing their heads in silence, the gunman sat as the entire congregation sang and yes prayed.

Pastor Voice: See that wasn’t so bad brothers. Thank y’all for letting us pray for you. And we’re thankful that whatever reason the Lord let you all come here. I just believe that you all will never be the same again. Come on. If you believe they’ll never be the same again, clap your hands and give God praise.

Lance: I love that. I’m going to have to watch the rest of that interview and I’ll share with you guys because I’m sure Laura has the pastor on. Love to hear what happened with those young men but imagine this man. Those four go in and they’re trying to kind of figure out what to do and when to do it and the pastor calls him out but he doesn’t call him out meekly. Mm hmm. I mean, calls him out boldly. He says, you got a cop pastor. I can see what’s going on here but you’re on Holy Ghost Turf. That’s wild.

Mercedes: I felt the annoying like you have felt the anointing.

Lance: You felt the anointing.

Mercedes: I got holy goosebumps like listen to that.

Lance: I felt like a deliverance anointing.

Mercedes: Yeah.

Lance: I felt like the apostolic deliverance anointing.

Mercedes: Powerful.

Lance: Hallelujah. Well, that Missouri church had a foiled armed robbery and so who sent you all here? Just saw the church to decide to come in. Talk to me. Here go talk to me. Like he’s telling them. What to do? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Well, the men were in the church for 20 minutes before they left. The police are still searching for them.

Mercedes: I know really.

Lance: Looking for the sheep that went astray. I just heard the Lord say the pastor says, this is what happens when you illegally trespass. When you illegally trespass in God‘s territory. Gives you an idea when the Bible talks about the Lord camping around about them that fear him. Maybe you ought to claim that house you got. Maybe you ought to claim that office. Maybe you ought to look at it like you’re just passing through renting space from the devil. Maybe you ought to act like you own that space. Like it’s yours that occupy that territory. I used to do this when I was in corporate America. I didn’t know how to fit in. I know as I got filled with the Holy Spirit and I was in a mess peak with Long Island corporate headquarters. And what we would do is I’d walk around when everybody else went I walked around like around 6 o’clock and I walked the perimeter of the office and prayed. Like Joshua, the children of Israel going around the walls of Jericho. I went around and I prayed in the Holy Ghost. I prayed in the spirit. I prayed and I released, I released God‘s spirit in different ways where I felt the Lord need to be in this area and what was needed here and I bind things and I lose things.

Do you know, I led 75% of my salesman to Jesus in that corporate headquarters? Think about it it now, because I took the atmosphere for the kingdom and somehow God showed up in that atmosphere and I was leading people to Jesus in that company. So, let me go on to just say the Jesus Revolution movie news coming in is now in third place at the box office Christians. It’s astounding, this movie is and it will because I think there’s going to be 30 or 40 million Christians that are going to go out. You’re going out, I’m going to go out there too and see it and I think it’s all into the Asbury Revival which in 1970 fed the Jesus Revolution. Ironically, the movie comes out and they didn’t know Asbury was going to have a revival when they put the movie out.

Mercedes: I think it’s going to show a whole generation like myself that didn’t get the opportunity to live it but show them what’s possible. It’s one thing to hear about it, right? Like to be like Larry and study revival, but for somebody like myself to say, wow, I to look at it and say, Lord, do it again, to see it visually and say, God do that again. Powerful.

Lance: I couldn’t agree with you more and I think it is it is time for you. By the way, we got 3 minutes left in this segment as we’re moving fast. But I want you to talk in these next 3 minutes. Wanna share with you three major political issues that Christians in the Great Awakening Saving America from itself. Need to track this year. These are three Supreme Court cases. Now you can thank God for Donald Trump. Matter what your opinion is of Donald Trump. Donald Trump gave you three conservatives. He’s still blessing America even while he’s being vilified by a lot of Christians and conservatives. He’s blessing you with the Supreme Court that’s watching out for you. Supreme Court decision in the 303 Creative Versus Elenis. It’s a case about the freedom of speech for a website designer Lori Smith but it’s a critical case relating to religious liberty.

It’s a case as to whether or not this devout Christian and owner of her own website development location is can be discriminated against and be forced to develop websites for cause that are against her faith and her religious beliefs. And what happens is like the masterpiece cake shop case, the homosexual community LGBT activist with their lawyers will target a Christian. Not a Muslim and never a black minority, but a white evangelical or Pentecostal. Because they’re targeting where they can do the most damage by stereotype in the court. And they go after Christians and they punish them by making them do whatever kind of artwork they want and forcing them to do. Bow their knee to whatever particular depravity the person wants to impose on a Christian. Well, she’s saying, I don’t want to have to do that with my website design. I shouldn’t have to do what you want me to do. I’m a free agent with my own business.

Well, that case is going to the Supreme Court and we’re going to see if in 2023, the 303 Creative will allow Christians to have the freedom to build the websites that they believe reflect their values or to be forced to build websites for let’s say Pornhub or something. Imagine that? I would imagine that this case ought to be a really interesting one. Well, we got two other cases coming up. We got a pro-life case which is going to be there are going to be states that are battling. We didn’t win the Roe V Wade case. Christians are like thinking we run we that, the abortion was defeated. It wasn’t. It went from the national platform to every state fighting to determine whether it’s going to be a sheep state or a goat state and so you’re going to have individual cases.14 states have a banned have abortion bans enforced. 8 states are fighting in court to say that abortion ban and you’re going to see all the states are going to have people weighing in and whether or not this is going to be taking place or not. But the real interesting case I’m keeping an eye on is the transgender ideology war on children. There is a case coming up before the court on how far that transgender ideology is going to go and where it’s and what’s going to happen in terms of schools and maybe we’ll come back and cover this.

Christians need to continue tracking that fight to protect children from the medical treatments and surgeries that are damaging their bodies. There’s a case of one person that went through a sex change that is going back and suing the people that did it. Because they were a lesson and they were misled and that case is coming from the person who destroyed their body and they’re holding the advisers, counselors, and doctors responsible. This will be very interesting. Hard to believe that we’re running out of time again. Let’s continue to pray people for that spiritual awakening in America. It is the firewall. Pray that it rises up and starts going to secular universities. If it hits the secular universities, it’s going to go main stream very quickly and my encouragement to you is your voice is important to me.
