This One Spiritual Secret Is God’s Life Hack

Lance: Man, I’m so excited about what we’re doing right now because the mind that is set on the flesh is death but the mind that is set on the spirit is life and peace. How many of you know that in the turmoil of world events right now? People’s minds are besieged by the turmoil of others but God says, “The mind that is set on the spirit is life and peace and you have access to that mind because Christ in you is speaking to you, and wants to reveal through you his glorious provision to the world around you”. We’re going to go into the treasure trove of God‘s revelation in the Bible and as we’re going into this, I want to thank so many of you that have joined and partnered with me to get these teachings out. Welcome to my favorite subject of the world. Which is the revelation of the Word of God with the activity of the Holy Spirit. I pray Father that right now you’re going to be opening the ears and the hearts of listeners that some that are even watching this were just apprehended. They don’t even know how they got here but you’re hooking them in Lord because you’re going to be bringing them through to a fresh revelation of who they are and what they have access to. In Jesus mighty name. Amen. It was, oh this weekend I was listening to an a Native American from the Lakota tribe by the name of Quincy Goodstar and he said something that just went off like a rocket in me. He said that either you’re in the law or you’re in grace because if you’re 99% in grace and 1% in the law, you’ve violated grace. That there’s revelation about the finished work of Christ that you can add nothing to, and when you get the revelation, you realize everything you need is already available.

You don’t have to convince God to heal you. The healing’s already in the atmosphere. The challenge is how to receive it. You don’t have to convince God to provide for you. The provision is already there. It’s about how to align to receive. The wrestling isn’t to get God to do something. It’s to position yourself to appropriate what you’ve already got. Man, it’s like I’m starting to think Andrew Womack was, this is a revelation. Brother Coleman’s got this revelation in various ways. I’ve heard a lot of the faith preachers that I’ve been on Flashpoint. I’ve been these different ministries and I’m thinking man, I myself, want to partake of a greater measure, not just 30–fold, not 60-fold, but 100-fold access to what I’ve already got and I don’t want to wrestle for what I already have. I want to receive what God has given me. Whoo. And I’m praying that for you right now. We’re on chapter 6. You need to catch up with us if you haven’t watched the other two Bible studies.

We’re in Romans chapter 6. “Believers are already dead to sin”. Derek Prince, my great mentor, once told me, that God‘s solution for the human condition isn’t therapy it isn’t emotional healing it’s execution. The cross was God‘s remedy for man. The resurrection was God‘s provision and everything you need is in Christ accessible to you at the right hand of the father and Christ in you is the hope of your ultimate glorification. Your mortal body will put on the immortal because the spirit of God the inside of you will quicken that mortal body and bring it into mortality. The same way that Christ was risen from the dead by the spirit. You will be risen also.

This is folks, these are fundamental revelations that you don’t want to ever get away from. Don’t go into the esoteric, bizarre, eccentric teachings that are distracting but they aren’t going to put muscle on you for the battle. What should we say then? Paul says, after he says, “Everything you need is already in Christ and there’s nothing you could do to add to that. You’ll never be more holy than you are right now. You’ll never be more loved than you are right now, never be more justified than you are right now, because Christ is the one who it. There’s nothing you can add to it. There’s nothing you can do to take away but you can walk without it because of unbelief and what he did”. Whoo. What should we say then, Paul says? Does this give us a license to sin? Because it’s not about you. It’s about what he did for you. He says, “God forbid. Man, never be. How shall we who died to sin live in it?”

Now, Paul’s about to go to a revelation here. I’m telling you a revelation that not only was cross God‘s remedy, but you are already dead. Since I remember brother Shambach great preacher. I love my old faith preachers. Man came up to him in Philadelphia with a gun stuck in his ribs. He says, give me all your money or I’ll kill you. Shambach just came out of his one of his wild AA Allen Revival Meetings. He turned around. He said, you can’t kill me I’m already dead. Guy got so startled, he took off, thought he was dealing with a crazy man. Well, he was, crazy preacher.What shall we say? How shall we who died to sin live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Jesus Christ have been baptized into his death? What do you think the whole thing about water baptism is? I’m going to go to the board right now. Watch this.

Therefore, we have been buried with him through baptism into death so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the father, we too might walk in newness of life for if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death certainly. We’re also going to be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection. Knowing this, knowing this, not speculating not what it,but knowing that our old self, our old was crucified with him in order that our body which is the location locust in Genesis of so much sin and transgression. The body of sin is done away with. You’re no longer a slave to sin because you’re dead and if you’re dead, you’re freed from that old body and that old soul and that old condition.

So, we look at water baptism. How do we look at it? I think we got all kinds of unusual beliefs floating around and it’s unfortunate too because people get saved. The first thing you want to see him done is get water baptized and I just talked to someone today that who a friend of mine who does these water baptisms at some of these Awakened America conferences. He’s done like 4000 so far and hopefully everybody is getting water baptized. Many of them are already believers. I imagine those never got water baptized, but here’s what the apostle Paul is saying. He’s saying, you know what happens? When you go into, here’s you, right? Hi, I’m ready to get water baptized. When you go into the waters of baptism, you’re actually going into the death and burial of Christ. Is that what happens? Water baptism, see this is you alive and this is you dead. That’s why I believe baptism was by immersion because I don’t think you get sprinkled with death. I think you get fully identified with it.

Now, what happens then? You alive goes into the water at you dead. This is the work of the cross. When he died, you died. But it doesn’t end there, because he came back up. Glorified, and when he rose, you rose. Water baptism is your identification with the death and burial of Jesus. That’s why when I baptize you, I hold you under long enough to make you wonder if I’m going to let you come back up. Hold people under there a little bit. I never liked it when people go in the water and they stand up and they kind of like give you permission to like dunk them, but they never, they are always in control. You ever got these control freaks? They’re always in control there. I say, surrender, go down, I hold them one, two, boom and bring them back up. So, that when they come up, they’re coming up realizing this is death, burial, and resurrection. That’s what water baptism is. It’s a ritual to identify you with the finished work.

So, let’s go on and see this again. “For if we become united, verse five, with him in the likeness of his death, certainly we’re going to be with the lightness of his resurrection”. When he died, you died. When he rose, you rose. When he ascended, you ascended. That’s why we are seated with him in heavenly places right now, because the Christ who rose is there but just like my wife can call me here all the way from Philadelphia, I’m in Texas. Spirit of God is on the inside of me so that Christ is in me even though he’s there, he’s operating in my body. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him. Knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead is never going to die again, death no longer has power over him. For the death that he died, he died to sin once and for all but the life that he lives he lives to God. Even so consider yourself to be dead to sin but alive God in Christ Jesus. This is probably Satan’s biggest mistake. The Bible says that, “If the kings and princess of this world knew what they were doing, they never would have crucified the Lord of glory”.

See, from Satan’s perspective, he had to get Jesus off planet Earth. He didn’t know what God was doing. This was the Bible says it was the plan hidden from ages. It’s the secret plan that the father and the son had that wasn’t revealed to anyone. You see, Satan figured, if I can get humanity to kill their creator, it would be aside. The ultimate sin would be the rebellion I could stir up in the creation. He’s healing. He’s delivering. He’s preaching, but I’ll get him. I’ll raise up in them rebellion. This is my world down here and I’ll stir them up to kill him. This is the secret plan. I’ll remove him from this realm by their choice just like I removed myself from heaven by my choice and then I’ll have the earth forever with the ultimate sin, decide killing their creator, the deity. Oh God knew that was what was going to happen, so Jesus came as our intercessor. He willingly gave himself for the humanity that would kill him, because what the devil didn’t realize is he only had the authority of death over sin.

A sinless man couldn’t be held down that hadn’t entered into his equation. Having never sinned death could not hold him. In fact, because he had never sinned, he was raised again from the dead as a vindication that he was the Messiah, the holy one of God who would never sinned.Satan hadn’t calculated that, but what he really didn’t calculate was that God would take the death of Jesus for every one of us who would receive it and it would be execution. And then our old self is dead and buried, and the new life comes by the new birth. The spirit of God would breathe into us and a new species would be born. A new species.

Adam was the first order of species with the fallen nature and demons infested and weaving inside and outside of the human being. Well, then put to death, a new species could arise. First thing Jesus did was he breathed on them and said, receive ye, the spirit. And when he breathed on them their spirit now became born again, they took on the nature of Christ himself and now the battle is to renew your mind to catch up with what you’ve already got. Tell you what man, I’m preaching myself happy today. So, even so consider yourselves that you’re already dead. So, it’s a comforting revelation. Oh Lord I’m so sorry I screwed up. Lord said, yes, you have. Repent, my remedy for you is the blood of Jesus I already executed you 2000 years ago. Now get in alignment with who you really are. Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lust and do not go on presenting the members of your body as instruments of unrighteousness. But present yourself to God. As those who are alive coming out of the waters of death, as those that are walking in a newness of life. Present your members. Every part of your body now is an instrument for God to work through for sin shall not have dominion over you because the power of that dominion is the law and the awareness of the corruption of your own failed performance. You’re not under that anymore. You’re dead. Remember? You’re under grace. The undeserved forgiveness and the new nature that is on the inside of you.

Remember, God doesn’t even see you the way you see yourself. He sees you through the lens of Christ. He looks at you and he sees Christ. It’s what God‘s done for you. What then? Shall we sin because we’re not under the law but under the supernatural power of grace? My God, may it never be. Do you not know that when you present yourself to someone as slaves for obedience, you’re slaves to the one whom you obey either of sin resulting in death or of obedience resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I’m speaking obviously in human terms, Paul says. I’m wrestling with metaphors. I’m trying to analogies that are human in Rome that you can relate to. I’m speaking about this in terms of the weakness of your flesh for just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity, to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, some now present your members as slaves to righteousness resulting in sanctification. Because now instead of giving yourself over to the thoughts and desires of the fallen nature, cast down those imaginations and take every thought captive to Christ, and begin to build your spirit man up in the most holy faith. And then the teacher says praying in the Holy Ghost, and you’ll find that building yourself up by spending time in the word of God enables you to align with what you’ve already got. It allows your spirit to become ascendant.

So, imagine that your soul, lot of Christians are led by their head but your spirit man is where revelation is and the spirit man wants to reeducate your thinking so your mind is coming under the influence of your spirit. You got to be strong in spirit to be able to cast down voices in your head. That’s why we really believe, that’s why Pentecostals have more fun, because we do believe and we embrace the supernatural spiritual life. And if you want to able to be strong in the spirit then you have to speak to yourselves in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing making melody in your heart. Praying in the Holy Ghost. It’s amazing how much of your mouth and your focus on the word of God catalyzes the grace that goes to work to position you in the victory that you’ve already got.

So, when you were slaves and sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. Therefore, what benefit do you have? From the things which you’re now ashamed. For the outcome of those things is death. But now having been freed from sin you’re a slaves to God. And you receive and you receive the benefit of that. Resulting in sanctification. And the outcome is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death. But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. And it’s not just life and duration, in terms of eternity with Christ. It’s a quality of life right now because Jesus said, you have eternal life now. Isn’t interesting that if you’re a believer, you already have eternal life right now. I remember might have been Mario Murillo saying it. He said, how many of you are Christians? If you’re Christians, you got nothing to be upset about. You already have. Your sins are forgiven. You have eternal life now. You don’t get it when you leave your body and God says, I’ll give that one eternal life. You’ve already got it because if you have Christ, you have life. Jesus said, I am the life. When he comes into your heart, you’ve got the eternal life.

You really don’t have that many problems. Moment you’re out of here, it’s heaven. What you want to do is you want to bring as much of heaven down to here as possible. That’s receiving the gift of God which is eternal life, the life of God lived in you right now. While I’m talking about this, let me pause for a second because I’m going to need your help. There is a mystery in teaching and that mystery and I alluded to it a little earlier in a different message, but there’s something about connecting with the word of God in the grace of giving that I’ve discovered has made me, I think, even more receptive to revelation knowledge in a lot of people. Because I believe what my forefathers taught here in Malachi what it says here to bring the whole tithe, bring the offerings into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house.

That word for food is important because there’s a famine of the word of God now, a famine of revelation, not a famine of conspiracy theories, not a famine of prophetic dialogue but a famine of substance that’s producing strength. The word there for food in my house is the Hebrew word Tariff. Tariff means freshly torn prey. Brother Hagin used to say that if you’re feeding your spirit a diet of stale crackers, you should be surprised if you’re anemic. What you need is meat. When a child can’t handle revelation, they’re not going to handle warfare. They’re not going to do exploits because a child isn’t expected to do much. Children drink milk. Baby Christians drink somebody else’s predigested food. The teacher teaches what they digest it and gives it in the form of milk but at some point, you got to move from milk to meat and you’ve got to get the meat on your own. Right now, you’re hitting the storehouse I’m opening stuff up for you but the meat of these revelations is the Tariff, freshly torn prey that’s coming from the storehouse of this broadcast. I got freshly torn prey from Kim Clement and from Kenneth Copen and Kenneth Hagin and from the pastors that I sat under for years. And the Bible says, “Test me in this if I will not open up for you such windows of heaven and pour out you such a copious blessing until it overflows till it’s till you can’t keep up with it”.

People would think like, well, isn’t that mean God‘s going to give me a whole bunch of stuff. If I put money in here, I’m going to have more stuff. Obviously, that doesn’t happen. The story of millions of Pentecostals tells me that doesn’t what happens but I’ll tell you what the Levites knew and the word of God teaches. When you partner with God in the form of bringing offerings into the storehouse or the place where revelation is taught, then, there you begin to find the meat. You find the revelation that you need. My meat is to do the will of him that sent me. Jesus said, the nature of meat is to give you the missing piece in the revelation you need right now to complete the blueprint of God‘s calling in your life. The Tariff, freshly torn prey you need is a portion of the mind of Christ, the revelation of the scripture that will give you access to the ability to do the will of God and finish his purpose for your life while you’re here.

My meat is to do the will of him that set me and to finish the work, the assignment that I’ve got. You need revelation, appropriate to finish that work. The Lord told me, start to tell them that they’re wrestling for stuff they’ve already gotten. Many of them are beating themselves up because they don’t feel worthy. They don’t feel they’re ready and many of them are going into a tailspin of a of a never-ending cycle of getting set free from stuff when they’re already free. I thought okay Lord, that’s meat. Now when you start getting that revelation, watch how the floodgates of heaven so open so copiously that it’s hard to keep up. Have you ever been in a message? I’ve had it happen sometimes I’m with Bill Johnson and I know that I’ve done this to other people, where I start to go and I’m sharing something as fast as I’m getting it and I’m in a certain flow of revelation and it’s too much. I know it’s too much, but I’m not going to stop because I’m plugged in and I want to get it I want to release what I’m seeing do people do? I’ve seen it happen my whole life. Is this being recorded? Is this being recorded? People they, you know why? You can only keep up with so much before it’s like Bill Johnson’s down the road with another meaty thought and I barely process the last one. I’m I got to get the tape. It’s what we used to say. I don’t have tapes now. That’s what it means.

See if I will not pour out for you such a blessing. The word blessing in the Septuagint. That’s the Latin translation, Latin Vulgate. The word for blessing benediction, and see if I will not pour out for you such a benne, good diction, flow of utterance. See if I will not pour out for you such a copious flow of supernatural revelation that you’ll not be able to keep up with. it I will open the floodgates of divine insight to you and every Jew knows the secret to the blessing of God. Isn’t the business strategy, it’s the voice of God. It’s hearing God‘s voice. Do thi. It’s the impulse of the spirit to do this, do that, to be led, to do this, to be at the right place at the right time and meet the right person. It’s the voice that is the secret and the curse is the consequence of not hearing and obeying the voice. This is what Deuteronomy 28 teaches. The foundation of blessing and cursing is the voice.

See if I will not pour off you such a benediction, a steady flow of the utterance of my voice that you will not be able to even keep up with it. Then I will get involved with the warfare over your finances. You’re worried about the future in the economy. Let me tell you how you prepare yourself. We have natural strategies. You’ll hear me talk about birch gold. You hear me talk about there’s going to be certain real estate developments. There’re going to be opportunities for people that are ready for them. But I’m going to tell you. God‘s ultimate strategy to get involved with the war over your finances is this. See if I will not rebuke the devourer for you so that it will not be able to destroy the fruits of your ground nor will your vine fail to have grapes and I’m saying this, nations will look at you and say, you are blessed, supernaturally empowered to succeed.

That’s why Malachi was writing. You’re cursing yourself when you rob yourself from the grace of giving. Because you’re giving positions you with the storehouse so that the meat is released to the obedient person. They get more given. And if you can handle the voice of God in giving you can handle the voice of God and gifts of the spirit. I always was amazed at why is that Judas could stand around and he could see the miracles of Jesus, see the deliverances, see the supernatural’s, Jesus and betray him. Then I realized, what was his one sin? He robbed God. He was not faithful carrying the finances and because of his lack of faithfulness in finances, it blocked him from being able to see the revelation the other 11 Apostles got.

So, I got to tell you this, Obeying God with your finances allows you to position yourself to the open windows of heaven for the revelation of the voice of God so you get the meat to do the will of God that God has called you to do to accomplish his divine purpose and then God through that alignment will rebuke Satan when he comes to take from you what God gave you. That’s pretty powerful. The last book of the Old Testament, it talks about Elijah coming, precedes it with this teaching. It’s interesting.
