Episode Transcript

Lance: Welcome to the Lance Wallnau Show. I’m so glad that you’re with me today and I have my wing people Mercedes and Carl are with me.

Mercedes: Wing People.

Lance: And I have to say that they we’re going to have a different kind of a show today obviously. I’m glad that I can have them here. So, I’m going to focus on an update you need to know about on my way in to the studio today. I discovered something which I thought you would like to know. So, I’m going to play a little bit of a music theme and you tell me what this is. Where did you hear this? Is this the 90s? And it’s Monk. Do you remember Adrian Monk? How many of you raise your hand if you remember Adrian Monk? Okay.

Mercedes: It’s 2002 to 2009.

Lance: 2002 to 2009, Thank you very much Mercedes.

Carl: So well done.

Lance: It wasn’t a 90s thing. It was and this is like 16 Emmy’s. It’s been a very popular series about the obsessive-compulsive detective.

Carl: OCD.

Lance: Well, they have a movie coming. I just want to let you know. Give you some positive news here to start the day. They have a movie coming out this year. It’s going to be the last adventure of Adrian Monk. And it’s going to be him at his daughter’s wedding of course a worst combination is he’s perceiving a crime is taking place and it’s his daughter’s wedding which of course is a great script already as he screws up the wedding, he’s trying not so hard to not mess up. But he’s got a crime that is he can’t get out of his head and something isn’t adding up at the wedding. So, you just imagine how what the comedic power of it. But I want you guys to know that because why is it that You could predict like the artistic success of a show like that or like Top Gun which I don’t think one. I think it got best soundtrack at the Academy Awards. Even though they should give an award, don’t you think? For most successful movie of the year because the most successful movies kind of resonate with the audience.

Mercedes: Yeah.

Lance: And Top Gun was almost like a billion dollar.

Mercedes: Top Gun didn’t get anything?

Lance: It got like got best soundtrack.

Mercedes: Oh my God.

Lance: Like because they had the good jet shots.

Mercedes: Lady Gaga. Yeah. She sang that song on it.

Lance: Lady Gaga was in it?

Mercedes: Yeah, she sang, is it Hold My Hand or something like that?

Lance: What?

Mercedes: Yeah, something like that. Which I just got to say about Monk though. I just got tothrow this in there because Larry is a huge monk fan.

Lance: Larry’s your husband.

Mercedes: I mean, yeah, Larry’s my husband for those of you who wouldn’t know that at this point. But he’s a huge monk fan and so he’s now passing that on to Liberty and picks appropriate episodes to watch to which her feedback is Monk’s a lot like Lance sometimes and you’re kind of Sharona. And I was like, what? But then I watch it and they made me watch this episode and I was like that is kind of similar.

Lance: Well, it’s true. Yeah.

Mercedes: You don’t have all those weird idiosyncrasies where it’s like this.

Lance: I used to. I used to but I got delivered.

Mercedes: Really?

Lance: Yeah. I had terrible obsessive-compulsive patterns.

Mercedes: But not the organizational components.

Lance: No, it’s not hyper but it’s hyper creative. So, if you go in like it’s almost like the beautiful mind thing where you go into the spaghetti world of yarn connecting ideas on a map.

Mercedes: Yes, that is very similar.

Lance: That’s the way my brain works.

Mercedes: Oh yeah.

Lance: And you help organize, you help get me around like, did you bring your keys? Do you have your passport? Which is a monk thing like and me getting almost arrested at the airport. Walking off with a laptop that I refuse to turn in.

Mercedes: Yeah. Yeah, and she’s kind of no nonsense with Monk. Little different than the other assistant who was on there later on. Who is like, mister Monk, come on. It’s like that type of a thing.

Lance: Yeah, because he needed to have somebody who could tell what was going on.

Carl: Well, there was also another thing that you were mentioning before we got rolling about the impact on the family that monk has. If you wouldn’t mind extrapolating on that a little bit.

Mercedes: Oh, well, I think this is what you’re referring to but that when you are consuming that type of content that I notice like when they’re watching monk that they start to pick up monk-like tendencies. Larry in particular, it’s taken him a while but he still does this. So, like if things are on the table, it’ll go like this, he’ll go like this, like that, and then that and I’m like, what is that? And it’s, so monk that I think he’s watched it so much. He has those tendencies.

Lance: But does he have a jersey germophobic?

Mercedes: No, but just very organizational which I think he gets from his mom too. She’s very her house is always immaculate and so he tends to keep ours like that too but Liberty even not the organizational stuff.

Carl: Idiosyncrasies.

Mercedes: Idiosyncrasies. Yes.

Lance: Alright. Now I want to talk about I want to find the Segway here into something very important. Which is what I love about that that whole monk genre I want you guys to just notice that the movie’s coming out that there’s a way in which you could be uniquely gifted and it’s just finding a way to align that gifting with something you could do that actually capitalizes on the innate gifting that you’ve got. And not everybody has that kind of like well-developed gift, but you have a gift a, talent and ability that you really want to merge it into a way you can employ that in terms of your destiny, your call, your assignment. And ideally, you want to spend your 40,50, 60 waking hours doing what you do best and finding out what it is you do best is kind of like the thing that I spent like 30 years working with Christians on. It’s very natural Segway doing HR work and psychological profiling in corporations I’ve always drawn to this stuff. But I was drawn to teaching and insight. That’s my whole stick. I love insight and I love sharing it.

Now I’m looking at one of the things we’re planning on doing this year is having a special event that we do conferences all the time. But there’s one event that we do which is dedicated to the latest Avant Guard technology speakers, ideas, innovations that we unpack for our people that will cause them to live what we call Level 10 Life, Level 10 Living. And that really level 10 living is like a metaphor if you will for optimizing your latent potential. And at this stage in your life, I’m aware a lot of my audience is interesting. I’m getting a lot of 40-year-old and 30-year-old men that are starting to come up to me now. I don’t know why that is, but I think it’s because I’m becoming like the age Jordan Peterson vintage which is like the father figure that’s not a competitor to the kids. I’m like an old man, but they come to me because I give them advice and help and frankly, I promote them. I’m helping them find doors to go through. But what I’m seeing is there’s a need to be able to simplify the complex in this age and give people mechanism and tools that can enable them to go where they want to go.

So, with all the information that’s out there, what are the primary Level 10 tools. Level 10 meaning maximizing optimizing the capacity and potential you have. The older folks at this season you’ve got to be serious about manifesting that which God has put in your life and getting clear on what it is that’s getting in the way of it showing up and removing it That’s the deliverance part. That’s the challenge of truth. But also seeing clearly what it is you want to make manifest. And I’m not satisfied that a lot of people are as good at this as they want to be, because we get caught up. I could see the COVID era kind of created a weird pattern interrupt where people got obsessed with COVID and they locked themselves out of the world around them. And instead of moving towards the goals many people became I would say in an unhealthy way, addicted to conspiracy, what’s going on, and unpacking current events. Living almost a vicarious life of information consumption, and not going anywhere. So, do you think I’m on the right track for this? Because I’m putting together an agenda now that’s going to blow your socks off in July or when it’s going to be June?

Mercedes: June.

Lance: June. Alright.

Mercedes: June. June 20th, 21st, 22nd. In beautiful Carlsbad, California.

Lance: Well, you checked it out, right? You went there.

Mercedes: I did. Yeah, I know Chelsea and I went out there and I scouted all these different hotels and this one’s a beautiful one. But as I’m listening to you, I’m realizing Lance, you’re the Mr. Monk of Destiny. You are the Mr. Monk of Destiny. You take in all these different data points and why I honestly, it’s really because of you guys for doing another Dream Trip. Because everywhere we go, people walk up and they’re like, when you do another Dream Trip. For those who have been here, we hadn’t done one in two years which is wild and I know we have people who’ve never been to a Dream Trip. We haven’t done one in 2 years. A Dream Trip.

Lance: It’s been longer than that, I think. Since. What was the last one we did?

Mercedes: The last I mean we did the Aswan rally, but that wasn’t it.

Lance: That wasn’t a Dream Trip.

Mercedes: It was had to been San Diego.

Carl: San Diego.

Mercedes: San Diego. So, I think that was 2020. And so, we did 2020, 2021, 2022.

Lance: 3 years ago, people.

Mercedes: I know and so you’re like.

Carl: No, San Diego was 2019.

Mercedes: So, we’re talking about I really think you’re the Mister Monk of Destiny. And I want to talk about some of the tools but as you’re talking also, I thought About Caleb and I looked it up and it’s Joshua 14 and it talks about Caleb and it says give me this mountain who at 85 years old was like give me this mountain. So, I think there’s a lot that’s happening right now that many people are being repositioned and I think we have a younger demographic that’s trying to figure out, hey, what am I called to do. We have an older demographic like you’re talking about that says get this out of my way.

Lance: Alright, okay I got to interrupt you for a second. Now listen, you guys don’t know this. I should told you this earlier. But I’ve got two best-selling like super cool, famous physicians that are experts in restoring youth so that as you get older, it’s being able to recover brain function and metabolism and strength so that you can almost reverse the internal aging. You can’t change your actual age anywhere they could change your gender but you can change the ability of your brain and the insides of you to operate. And you can actually, I have some of these guys that told me the miracles that they’re having with people where they’re actually showing up testing as though they’ve got younger body parts in terms of performance.

Mercedes: Wow.

Lance: Than older. Then they’re like you’re coming with a 25-year-old heart or you know your brain’s offering like around 35-year-old. And especially with COVID. Evidently like one of the doctors was telling me there’s a lot of post COVID brain fog and spike protein fatigue and let’s my son Carl found out you don’t have to take a vaccine to be around people that are vaccinated in the vaccine affect the spike proteins can get vaccine, you could be

Carl: Shedding.

Lance: You they could be shedding and you pick up the vaccine stuff. And it affects you physiologically. Anyway, I’ve got these two doctors. One of which is going to be I believe presenting for the Dream Trip. He’s very interested in doing this and speaking about how to reduce and remove the brain fog to reverse the internal aging process and to sharpen your mental and physical acuity. So, this to me is the Caleb call. You got, don’t adjust your dream based on your age but rather get a sharper picture as to what you got to do. Because God gave you the lifespan, you’ve been given in order to do the assignment, he gave you to do.

Mercedes: And I mean and some my point in saying we haven’t done it in 2 years. Some people if they’re not watching like our Saturday program. They don’t know about convergence. What even is that? That as you age, you’re actually enter into probably what 55+ should be your primo time of impacting the kingdom of impacting the nations of the earth for the kingdom of the Lordand taking all your gifts talents and abilities everything, you’ve acquired and going full throttle into ushering the Lord‘s kingdom into the earth in your destiny. I don’t know if you want to get up and talk about it, but that concept of convergence, I’d at least like you to touch on. So, people I mean these are the types of topics we’re going to talk about at the Dream Trip and helping you unlock what your convergence zone is.

Lance: Well and Carl, you work with that flow collective. I’m going to go up to the board in a second. But I don’t want to leap out of the subject because you do a lot of, this is somewhat your interest which is peak performance tied to neurochemicals or the mental states or the internal states and chemistry in the body also.

Carl: Yes sir.

Lance: So, what have you been coming up with in terms of the relationship between focus and performance and some of those elements.

Carl: Flow follows focus. I really appreciate the question. So, flow follows focus which means that you cannot tap into flow, the psychology of optimal human experience without focusing on the task at hand and then seamlessly merging the action with the awareness that you have. So, there’s different types of attention, right? One way of thinking of it is like a fog lightm where broadly speaking, this is just everything that’s illuminated. So, sometimes for instance, you might be driving to a location and you don’t necessarily remember the drive. You might remember a conversation having with somebody or you’re talking to somebody in the passenger seat, but you don’t remember the actual drive. That’s because the spotlight of your attention wasn’t on the drive, it was on the person. So, that was where your focus was that was likely where you’re actually having that flow microflow experience. But the fog light is making sure that you’re stopping at red lights, you’re going on green, you’re being aware of the things around you. So,knowing where you need to focus is going to change the actions that you’re doing based on what you’re focused on.

So, that was something I was trying to bring up earlier with the Monk idea was it’s not just the things that we think we’re focusing on that are actually going to affect us. It’s the other things that we’re putting in our diet, our nutrition, our intake. So, when Mercedes family watches monk and they pick up these little tiny idiosyncrasies. It’s in part because of mirror neurons. It’s in part because that’s actually how we’re hardwired is to reflect the environment around us for one reason is for tribal protection. You want to be one with the tribe. You want to be in not lockstep but you want to be in the right group with everybody else that you’re around. And that’s one of the best benefits of the Dream Trip is that you are now putting yourself in proximity to like-minded individuals who may have gone up a certain mountain that you haven’t gone up yet or they’re going up a mountain that you’ve gone up in the past. And so, you’re able to ally yourself with these other like-minded individuals in order to step into that next phase of life.

Lance: I love that. So, let’s talk about these concepts in in a biblical sense as once you go to Acts chapter 9 and then I’ll show you the illustration of convergence. Because I have different definitions of convergence and for me ultimate career convergence is when you’re doing the thing you were created to do. But since that typically happens for in the West after 50 years of age, that doesn’t mean that you don’t have many convergence. Talking about micro is about this micro flow moments and stuff, where you’re actually finishing phases of God‘s predestined preparation process. I could show you and do show you in the work that we do with our Level 10 research. Biblical where Joseph for instance we do this process where we show how him serving his father and then him serving Potiphar’s house and then him serving in the prison, prepared him for the prime ministry with pharaoh. God redeems all the faith, but in each phase, he was increasing a certain specific skill set that was a prerequisite for promotion to the next test and the next graduation.

When you look back, you could see your life prepared you for what you’re doing now. But it doesn’t you don’t see it during the process, you see it in retrospect. When you hit convergence, now if you don’t get the convergence you could die in the process. 80% of people are still working to get to where they got to go versus give me my mountain and taking it. So, I want to make sure that you know what the difference is between going in the wilderness in circles and going up the mountain that God‘s called you to do. Because there’s a way to go up and there’s a way to miss it.

So, let’s take a look at Acts 9. Oh yeah, that’s where I was going. So, I learned this from Kim Clement. It’s so funny. People got; this one guy got mad at me once. He said, if you really knew who this man was, his name is it’s Clement, not Clement. But I was calling Kim Clement since I known him because I’m terrible with names. I call him Kim Clement but it’s Clement. Okay. It’s Kim Clement. Nevertheless, Kim Clement and I were together and he was talking about this and he had the greatest insights in the Bible. He would see the most powerful stuff. In Acts 9, the Ananias, an intercessor is told in verse eleven that he’s to arise and go to a street called straight and the way that Kim said, “Yes, I’m hearing God. I’m hearing God. I got a street. I’ve got a street. God‘s giving and that’s how he would hear. He would hear in pieces and it was like putting a puzzle together. It’s like the ultimate monk. He get words of knowledge and peace the puzzle and it would be arise and go to the street called straight. Yes, and then he get another name and inquire at the house of Judas.

Yes, a street, a name, a house, an address. I’m hearing and you’re going to be looking for one called Saul of Tarsus. For behold he’s praying and then he says the prophet says, and he froze and I just goes, whoa, whoa, whoa wait a second. That’s not where I want to go. So far, all the excitement ends. Why? Because you’re bringing me before someone I don’t even like and I want to go talk to picture the person you most don’t want to be with and God says I’m sending you there. And, in a vision, we talked in an earlier program about visions and dreams. Well, a vision is when God gives you a mental picture while you’re awake and conscious of your environment and in your mind, you see something and you’re right there in the environment. A trans is a more strong form of vision. You’re not aware whether you’re in the body, out of the body or if you’re actually in their place or if you’re at home. But in a vision, Saul has seen a man named Ananias coming to him and putting his hands on him that he might receive his sight and Kim something which I don’t think anyone else ever caught. That God showed Saul of Tarsus the face of Ananias while Saul’s blind.

And as Kim said, how confusing will it be for the apostle that he is training? When he opens his eyes it’s not the face that God showed him. This is a first lesson basically divide guidance for the apostle. And how interesting that God put the face of Ananias in the future and then came to tell him where to go. And as Kim would say in his irreverent South African way. And your assignment is to get your butt where your face is. And your assignment is to actually catch up to where God put your face. You have a face in the future. And then he would do this great rap after he teach that which is just somewhere in the future and you look much better than you look right now and he tell you you’re somewhere in the future’s fascinating idea. You’re somewhere in the future. And you’re actually there in the future because God puts you in the future. True prophetic is the art or the science of being able to see where your face is in the future so that you can align your steps with your ultimate destination.

Mercedes: It’s good work.

Lance: A Dream Trip is all about getting clear on where your face is in the future and the economy of steps and transactions, knowledge your skills or ability you have to acquire in order to get there quickly. And to not waste years in time, because time is an enemy if you’re not walking in the spirit.

Carl: Time keeps on slipping.

Lance: Yeah, time keeps on slipping so go to Ephesians chapter 2 and you’ll see something in verse 10. “For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works”. Interesting, good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. So, that means that there’s certain places you’ll be where God prepare ahead of time for you to be there and you’ll be walking in the place where your face was in the future and now, you’re caught up to where your face is and you’re living literally in the moment of a divine appointment. We call that convergence. The convergence zone is when you’re where your face put you. And when you’re there its beautiful things happen. You’ll have life defining moments in the convergence zone.

Carl, I think one of the convergence zones for you was doing some leadership training in Europe and it’s kind of like where when you step into where your face is in the future, you actually get a foretaste of what you’re called to do in the future. And you actualize certain things in that moment that when you leave it reminds you. That’s what you’re ultimately called to do. So, what was your in convergence, in a mini convergence moment.

Carl: Not really sure how to answer that. My experience in the micro convert. I was in Prague. Beautiful, beautiful Prague, Czech Republic. I was invited to speak on the work of leaders at the Global Leadership Symposium. I had spoken about 5, 10 minutes the year prior when you were one of their keynotes over there. You were a keynote as well in 2019, but you were doing a digital video. I got to meet a prince which was really cool. That’s something that I’ve wanted for a long time just to meet royalty and to befriend them. I didn’t get to see his castle, but I was invited to check it out at a future time. I was able to meet people who I otherwise never would have met and they were able to affirm me in a way that I wouldn’t have been affirmed in any other experience in my opinion.

So, it was a type of recognition and acknowledgement of the things that I can speak to the things that I have a responsibility to share to speak on. And this isn’t meant to hurt them in any way. It was just from my experience if it’s the Global Leadership Symposium, then you guys should really be talking a lot about leadership, a lot about leadership. It seemed to me like were doing biblical principles which is beautiful and nice and talking about the old Jewish tribes and the way they would set up their systems or their communities and how it’s similar to like a microbiology kind of system and so it was cool. It was insightful, but it didn’t translate to me as far as these are the practical steps in leadership that you actually need. You need to know how to craft a vision. You need to know how to bolster alignment with your team and how to champion execution. These things are essential for any leader.

So, I spoke on that and got it affirmation applause and whatnot and then afterwards I got to go up to Ramsey’s and he just gave me a big hug. Ramsey’s gorgeous dear friend mentor and he was like, wow, that was great. So, it was so life affirming and fortunately now my fiancé and I are going to be getting married over in Prague.

Mercedes: Yay.

Carl: Because it was enough life affirming experience.

Lance: So, you and you want to go back to that place and have more of those signature moments.

Carl: Yes, I’m not going with the anticipation or expectation to have that same type of experience.

Lance: If you decide to a seminar at your wedding.

Carl: It’s going to be a very short.

Lance: It’s going to be it’s going to be a really awkward honeymoon.

Carl: Little more of a funeral.

Lance: And how about you guys at home? I mean, you got to really listen to me now. God gives you those moments of discovery of a higher self. Where you get to see yourself, your higher self on exhibition and it helps to equate you with the fact that this is your real raw potential where you can move to. And there’s themes in it with Carl. It’s like leadership. It’s also the teaching but it’s also being around people that you could hear his narrative. It’s all the clues are like the monk clues are there. The DNA is there of destiny and the kinds of people he wants to be able to influence. So, Mercedes, how about you What for you was a time when you’re caught up with your face in the future?

Mercedes: It’s interesting. I think actually working with you is a mini convergence of a lot of different areas in my life. Prior to working with you, I’ve done all sorts of stuff. So, I work for United States Senator. I work for Leadership Institute. I work for Financial Advisors at Smith Barney. I have just created product, been an entrepreneur, software developer, operations, and what’s interesting with you is basically what I did for 30 years of my life all kind of flowed together at one time. So, it’s like I create product with you. Yeah, I’ll never forget, like right when I got here really, I was hired to help you kind of transition all your products online and market online. Then you got the word about Trump and you’re like, hey, I’m really sorry. I know you just moved your family here and we were planning to do like all this online coaching and training. I don’t think I could do that anymore. I have to go this political route. I’m not sure what to do. You still have a place here and I just looked at you and I was like, no, I can do politics. I work for, I’ve been listening to Rush since I was in a car seat. So, I’m good. I’ve been listening to Rush longer than you.

Lance: All news to me.

Mercedes: Yeah.

Lance: It was all news to me. Well, we’re running out of our last 27 seconds here for a half-hour show. Like you go a little bit over there on our podcast. Let me go to the whiteboard because I did.

Mercedes: Can we do one thing too because we haven’t done it yet but is that if of this sounds really exciting to you and if anything’s resonating with you and this is literally not even the tip of the iceberg. I think what we want to do is go ahead and invite you to join us in Carlsbad, California at The Dream Trip and if you go to the link on the screen, it’s going to be Lancewallnau.com/DreamTrip. Go check it out. We’ve got a lot more information up there and again, the dates are going to be June 20th, 21st, and 22nd. And like Carl was talking about, there’s something about being there that’s very special. There’s always divine connections there. We’ve had people that have literally, if you’re single, they met their future spouse there.

Lance: We’ve done right. We’ve done weddings there actually too. We’ve been on the beach.

Carl: Yeah.

Mercedes: Multiple times, deliverances. I mean, there’s something about being there. We will have an online option because I know a lot of people ask about that.

Carl: Yeah.

Mercedes: But I really want you to strongly consider joining us. I only really have room for about 300 people. If we go over that, I would have to reconfigure the whole room, so I’m thinking about capping it at 300.

Lance: I’m telling you guys, when grab this now. Governor has trust me on this, but you have a chance to this is exactly what you want to do. You can you cancel before the event but I’m going to tell you right now, those seats are going to go so fast. Because we’re doing 4,000, 5,000 people at our events.

Mercedes: For free?

Lance: Our free events.

Mercedes: Yeah, free events.

Lance: And I promise you, there’s going to be that that 350-seat room for a paid event that’s structured for 2 days. I’m just doing two messages for the free ones. We’re going to do like two intensive days.

Mercedes: Oh yeah, it’s all day.

Lance: Lancewallnau.com/DreamTrip. Get your seat quickly. Alright, let’s take a look at the Acts 9 stories as Mercedes wanted me to go to the board. Let’s go there now. Here is Ananias. Here is you. And your problem is this. God has given you a prophetic face in the future. You actually are somewhere in the future. I’ll put the crown on you up there. And the challenge is,how are you going to get from where you are here to where you’re ultimately called to go there. And what we do in the Dream Trip what my Adrian Monkish discovery is that this place in the future is actually a something which we call a convergence zone. Convergence is when you’re doing the thing that you were called to do before you were born. It’s where you’re in the Acts 9phase in the future where you’re actually the workmanship unpacking what you’re called to do.

In Carl’s case or Mercedes case, what you find out is there’s certain gifts and abilities that Godhas given you. And you need to know what are those talents, gifts, and abilities. Listen, there’s multi of resources and inventories that you could take that will unpack information. The problem is so many people do a superficial amount. They’ll do an Enneagram or a Disc profile on Myers Break. They never extracted the full juice out of what it actually tells you about yourself. I want to do a Level 10 analysis. A Level 10. I’m looking for a 10/10 experience where you’re utilizing 100% of your latent gifts, talents, and abilities. And that means that you might have to grow like a coach shows you how to play better so that you’re improving the use of the skill that you have. But in terms of if you’re called to make money you should actually be utilizing gifts talents and abilities including seeing who you need in your team that you don’t have that enables you to do what you’ve got to do, you’re going to have to have a Level 10 team in order to manifest that dream It ain’t just you. So, that’s the dream team is also part of what we’re going to be talking about.

Now you’re down here and you really want to be able to get up to where your faces in the future. We look over here your gifts, talents, and abilities. The other part of this is managing your state. This is where Carl does a lot of the inventory work on emotional intelligence work which is an interesting subject. I kind of look at it this way and the simplest version in like two minutes for this show. I’m going to say, you at least want to be able to have a Level 10 passion. Meaning that you’ve got the energy and the excitement to show up 100%. If only 50% of you shows up, it’s not likely you’re going to end up in a convergence. So, don’t you get the impression when you read about Jesus. You read about Peter. You read about Paul that they are what you could say is fully present to what they’re doing in the moment. They aren’t distracted. They aren’t halfhearted. It’s almost like the word intensity could be applied to all those key moments of interaction that are going on in the Bible. Being 100% present. Being a hundred percent alive in the present. Utilizing a 100% of the latent skill or talent that you got. Something about that makes a massive difference.

So, we look at this level 10 here, level 5, level 1, level 3, and what we’re saying is you can live a 5/5 life or you can live a 10/10 life. When you’re in the 10/10 zone, the probability is you’re actualizing where you’re supposed to be right now, where you’re supposed to go. The middle part here is worth a session all in itself, because the middle part is what we call that if this is the passion and this is understanding what powers you what personal power you have. If this is where you are presently being able to identify where you are right now, then I would say living a 10/10 life is actualizing 100% of who God called you to be the question is how do you get to where you got to go and that’s called the path. Path finding is where the prophetic process is the most interesting, because path finding is when you got to meet the right people. You’ve got tohave the right processes and the right tools.

You have to be thinking in terms of how, it’s like a GPS. How do I navigate moment by moment, day by day to get from where I am to where I’m called to be? Because certainly, you can have gifts, talents, and abilities. You can have passion. You can be understanding where you’re at but if you don’t have a plan, if you don’t have the counsel and advice of people, peers, mentors, coaches who know how to do a startup, know how to do a business, know how to do media growth, know how to do marketing, then why would you think that you’re going to do on your own what you’ve never learned how to do unless you have other people that will come along and help you. That’s where the community comes in.

The Dream Trip community is one of the most giving communities I’ve ever met. We have, it’s one of the few places where a tribe of similar, lovely, passionate, loving, prophetic seekers of God come together. But it’s also a time when there’s remarkable business alliances. I mean, I’ve had some of my most interesting friendships forge out of laughing. I’ll never forget the year that I actually had 5 great business people down there for a Dream Trip in Cabo San Lucas and Mahesh that was the speaker that year and remember, we had that Dream Trip. I just walked past it in the back conference room. We’ve recorded it and I had gathered them together with a flip chart. I said, you’ve built this for 100 company. You built all this. You built I want all of you to use all your consummate skills to help coach me. I’ve coached you for 2 days.

Now you help me. I want to be able to reach like a million people with media and be transformative leveraging a platform to do that. We never got anything done. And in fact, I’ve never left more in my life. It was a circus with all these I don’t know ADD entrepreneurs. None. I mean we had professional bakers and real estate people and former pastors. None of them knew anything about media and I at the end of the day, I can remember crowding on the balcony and Dave Yarns was down there too. David Nolan was there. It was hilarious and we’re crowded on the back balcony of one of the guy’s hotels and we’re calling for food. And of course, my friend David, he’s okay to joke about it now. But we were laughing, because he’s dyslexia. He’d be giving the wrong food number for the food to come to. Because he gets the numbers reversed.

Mercedes: Oh my God.

Lance: And so, we were laughing. I’ve just, it was so bizarre. When we got home, I said to Mahesh, I was at his church. I said, that Dream Trip, I really believe the path is the part we’re focusing on now. We’re helping people understand their passion. Understand their calling. Understand their face in the future. Understand the gifts, talents, and abilities, what they need in their team, where they are, where they’ve been. It’s the path and I had a Pathfinder meeting and all we did was laugh and I walked home. I said, “No, I’m no clearer than I ever have been before. And he said, “The Lord gave you exactly what you needed. I said, “How is that what I needed? And he gave me a great insight. He said, “Because he said I’ve been with you for years. I’m going to tell you something. The kingdom of God requires an environment for God to lead you in. And the environment is righteousness, peace, and joy.

The thing that you’ve needed most in your ministry and organization is the joy of the journey. You didn’t need the clarity of the direction as much as you needed the attitude to attract it. And what God gave you was friends with whom you could laugh. You an intense life dealing with intense subjects but the laughter was the kingdom. God gave you the path. The path is the kingdom, and when he said that it was like a aha. I thought those friendships were, it’s true that God was he was almost like the Lord said, yeah, you want to talk about the subject I’m going to give you the joy that you need and the peace that you need. Because you’ll follow me much easier in the joy and peace of the kingdom than in the strategy details. So, it was absolutely right and the and the strategies we got after that came, I think because there was a different kind of environment to attract them. Does that make sense to you guys?

So, I went a little bit over. But I want you to know that you’ll not only have strategic path finding information. You’re going to get the joy. You’re going to have the peace and you’re going to get righteous thinking you’re going to get your right alignments.
