The Real Reason James O’Keefe Was Fired

Lance: Welcome! Welcome to The Lance 1 hour show, the show that gives you hope without hopeium perspective, with accurate prophetic analysis versus the endless stream of optimism that often disappoints. I’m going to be telling you today about what’s going on with Project Veritas. I want to dig in on that story because I believe that the missing piece behind the Project Veritas firing of James O’Keefe. It’s the part that you’ll never get on the Bannon war room, even with my friend Charlie Kirk, though they might allude to it, they do not understand spiritual warfare is real. When you deal with Pfizer, you’re dealing with this multibillion-dollar pharmaceutical power mechanism, which, working along with Dr. Fauci here, and how they derailed the entire Trump election through COVID through ballots. I mean, look at this thing from a satanic point of view. Just connect the dots with me for a second. 

A weapon of mass destruction, a bioweapon, was formed in China by American pharmaceutical researchers working with the Communist Party when they were kicked out of the United States. This story still hasn’t been dealt with properly. The weapon gets out, and whether it’s by intention on the Earth level or not, it was intention in the spirit level. Get the virus out. Shut the world down. Flood the United States with paper. Tent the Democrat machinery in Madison County and in Monroeville and in Philadelphia and in Pittsburgh. It’s going to be Maricopa, Arizona. 

We’re literally at the point where we know the counties where the corrupt strongholds for ballot processing can flip any state, and you only need to flip three out of five to control the executive branch and some 20 million political appointees that are all interested in careers that come out of that Washington establishment. What I’m saying to you is the devil somehow was able to get the kill shot in, take Trump out, kill our economy, and put us in the place where these lunatic Marxist totalitarians, under the guise of equity and racial tolerance and sexual acceptance have been remaking America to the point where we’re coming under the heel of a Marxist cultural takeover. 

All of that happens, and you can’t tell me that isn’t spiritual warfare. When Project Veritas comes out with the Pfizer smoking gun, having one of their high-level research executives in charge of these projects leak out trying to impress some other guy, he has an attraction for on what they do behind the scenes and talks about how they got a cash cow, and they know it, and they’re teasing out morphing of the virus into permeations that they can create vaccines for in the future. When that story comes out and Naomi Wolf working with Steve Bannon’s war room, a liberal who was a Clinton administration consultant, comes out and says, “As a liberal, I am shocked that the liberals and the Democrats aren’t screaming bloody murder over what they’re doing. This pharmaceutical vaccine is causing pregnancy complications, miscarriages. It’s creating heart disease. It’s killing young people”. 

This thing was pushed through at warp speed by Trump for warp profits without responsibility, by the executives at the pharmaceutical companies, covered up at warp speed by the political establishment, which is corrupt as the day is long and shielded from any suits by virtue of the deal they made with Washington on a warp speed product that they can’t be held liable for. And now they’re still not liable while they’re shooting out more variations and getting paid for boosters. Folks for at a time like that, for the Naomi Wolf book to go to the top even in spite of suppression, go to the top of, like, the top five bestselling books in America exposing the vaccine. Danger! Oh, this ain’t going to stop. And then you put the Pfizer Project Veritas expose at the same time. It’s like Asbury revival coming out at the same time as you have National Prayer for College Week and coming at the same time, whether you subscribe to this theory or not, as prophetic words about what was going to happen with Kansas City in the Super Bowl. 

Just as they won in 1970 in the last revival, they would win again at the time of the next revival. And that revival means that God is going to start to raise up a new architecture of leadership in the body of Christ that will serve to transform America. That was what Jone’s prophecy was, bob Jone’s prophecy. These things are all interconnected. And it’s not far for me to see the connection because the dots I take the spirit realm, the prophetic realm, natural realm. I look at them. I look for the patterns where they conspicuously connect. And I’m telling you this, O’Keefe was taken out as a satanic backlash for the trouble he has caused the devil with his exposes. 

They don’t have a spiritual covering. They probably don’t have adequate intercession for them. They’re on the front lines exposing the devil doing the work that Christian journalists aren’t doing. And as a result, it’s a predictable thing, like a church split in a revival community. The devil wants to break up unity wherever it’s going to be the most effective against him. And you’ve got that going on. Now let’s hear James O’Keefe talk about his ouster from Project Veritas in his own words. I want you to hear it.

James O’Keefe: There were tactical disagreements about the boldness of approaches soliciting donations. I was told, and I’m paraphrasing, by asking for X dollars right now, you will prevent 10X dollars down the road. That advice ran contrary to everything I knew to be true in my 13 years of fundraising. But that conflict was even more fundamental and essentially boiled down to this and my vision. I’m going to paraphrase Howard Rourke, the architect, quote, “I don’t build in order to have donors. I have donors in order to build”. That’s what I believed. And I felt like we had a conflict divisions. 

We measure our success in terms of what we produce, not just in terms of our wallets. That was a pretty fundamental conflict, I felt. The day prior, I had informed him in front of his colleagues that if he wasn’t willing to follow my lead, he’d be shown the door. I tried to deal with it privately, but I was unsuccessful. And the disagreement boiled over publicly in a staff meeting. The next day, this individual refused to resign, so I fired him. Later that same day, that Thursday, February 2nd, a few days after the 50 million views visor videos, I was informed by a different officer of Project Veritas that he would go to the board in a few hours from that moment and have an emergency vote to restructure this company receiving an agenda in my email, while I was sitting on an airplane tarmac with the doors closing, the meeting was scheduled for the moment that my plane landed in Nashville. 

It became clear to me in that moment I would be removed from my position at Project Veritas by the time I landed at my destination. So our mission continues on. I’m not done. The mission will perhaps take on a new name, and it may be no longer called Veritas, Project Veritas. I’ll need a bunch of people around me, and I’ll make sure you know how to find me. So with that, I’m going to collect my things, I’m going to load them into my car, and I hope to see some of you soon!

Lance: Well, you could see he’s trying. He’s a strong man who could take a lot of heat. He’s been the government Biden’s been after him. I think he was under an electronic surveillance for a long period of time because he was set up with the Hunter Biden. Probably the weird perversion diary of his not Hunter, Joe Biden. The whole family is so bizarre. Joe Biden’s daughter’s diary. And so he got to him, and he turned it over to the FBI, but it just freaked them out that he could have access to the family’s secrets. But let me just read this part again! 

He’s saying that “The nature of the conflict had to do with soliciting donations”. It’s really bizarre. And he says, “I don’t build an organization in order to have donors. I have donors in order to build the organization”. So that was a pretty fundamental conflict. I informed him, who was one of these key leaders there in front of his colleagues, that if he wasn’t willing to follow my lead, he’d be shown the door. All right, so here’s where James made his mistake. He lacked the self-control to be able to manage his aggression. And he basically told the guy he’d be fired if he didn’t agree with his philosophy. And he did it in front of other people. And the pushback was, well, we’ll show you. 

We’re going to go back to the board. We’re fed up with you. We’re always talking about you anyway. And so they went back, and they said, “Well, he sewed this, he sowed that, and I’m not even sure”. And they just said, “Well, we’re just going to get rid of him”. Steve Bannon has a theory of the case, which is he wants to know if Pfizer has infiltrated any of their lawyers, consultants, or board members with any kind of lucrative incentivizing to get rid of O’Keefe. That’s a little bit of what Steve Bannon is saying because he’s been around the block a long time. 

He says, “Hey, wait a second”. How do we know that the pharmaceutical company Pfizer isn’t looking for the weak link there in the border? Maybe there’s somebody that’s actually going to get, yeah, in other words, it’s justifiable getting rid of him, getting rid of O’Keefe. But there’s also the carrot if you do that. We really do need to work better on our end, and we need to have a better relationship with you on your end, and we’d love to have you help us with that if you could. Blah, blah, blah. That’s how those things start. So what are your thoughts on this, Mercedes Sparks?

Mercedes: My thoughts are….. 

Lance: If you don’t say the right thing, you’re going to be fired in front of everybody. Just know that. How does that work?

Mercedes: I always say the right thing. It’s a gift. I really think my takeaway from this is, and I’ve seen this backfire on so many different people over the years, but how important it is to pick a board that you actually trust. And so you go into a lot of things like this. I’ve seen boards do some really horrendous things to founders and founders’ families. And maybe when somebody passes away, the board still maintains control of all the intellectual property, doesn’t give anything to the family. I’m not going to name any names, but it’s a really scary thing. So when you are picking a board for your organization, please keep this in mind. Because if James O’Keefe can be removed from his home organization, I mean, he is Project Veritas. And then, did you see the email that they put out? Charlie shared this email the other day, and it was like, we’re going to move forward here. It says this. It says, “We must take this opportunity to prove that Project Veritas is not a cult of personality but a force to be reckoned with. And we will grow and thrive and produce and distribute content that covers corruption and hypocrisy”.

Lance: Oh my God! Project Veritas is doomed!

Mercedes: Isn’t it? 

Lance: I’m going to tell you right now. You guys all know me. Trust me when I say this and go to the bank on this one. Project Veritas, under that name, because you know who they are. They are the Republican Party trying to get rid of Donald Trump. So, okay, Donald Trump is, I’m telling you, people are still coming up to meet friends of mine. Lance, you know, what do you think about Trump? I mean, they just got this pained look on their face. They just wish you would just go off into the night, and I say, “Look, man, you guys are going to create the new dynamic Republican Party without Donald Trump, and you’re going to prove that you’re not a cult of personality”. 

First of all, read that line. Who are they trying to impress? Their liberal peers, their friends that they want to get a nod of journalistic approbation from you guys with James O’Keefe? No, no, no, we’re legitimate. No! You’re James O’Keefe. No, no, no. We’re a legitimate organization. We’re going to prove that we are. And we’re not a cult to personnel. We just don’t jump through hoops because James O’Keefe tells us to do it. We’re not his little lap dogs. We’re real grown men and women. We have our own egos and our own identity. Forget it! 

James O’Keefe built it. James O’Keefe destroyed it. It’s not that these James is entirely a victim. He’s a victim of his own constraints. I’ve learned this lesson. I haven’t practiced it fully, but I do, and I want you all to hear this proverb. “No organization will ever be able to rise above the dominant constraint of its leadership”. In James O’Keefe, you have a high achievement drive. That’s why he’s like, “I don’t even know the guy’s married”. He’s driven. He’s like Andrew Breitbart driven. These guys don’t do good with marriage. Like Bannon driven. 95% to 96% achievement drive. What you want is a 93%. 

We have science on this stuff. I study this stuff. You want a driven person who is just short of being a workaholic, meaning they know how to shift gears and focus on nurturing the relationships around them. The people that are dangerous aren’t the Steve Jobs with the achievement drives that burn out their friends and drive people crazy around them. They’re the people that have a 92% to 93% achievement drive, meaning that only 8% of the world is more obsessed with winning than them. But they balance out that little margin of, like, that 8 or 9%. They’re not driven by to focus on others around them that are important to their cause. That’s nurturing the key relationships that your spouse, your children, your key partners and stakeholders, and the most successful CEOs of sustained 100 million dollar operations in the kingdom.

We’ve got data on this. They have a 90% or higher, but not workaholic achievement drive married to like an 80% or a 75% nurture factor, which means that they’re driving you, but you know they love you. The greatest leaders are those. I mean, Jesus had this style. I know that you guys are going to argue with me, but I promise you, on the night in which he’s betrayed him, getting up three times, waking them up, saying, get up and pray. Get up and pray. Get away. This was a young leader who demanded total commitment from his followers. His policy was 100%. Leave your family, leave your father, leave your mother, or you’re not worthy of me. He required 100%. We’re going to tell you. Where are we going? Trust me, when we get there, you’ll find out. 

Mercedes: No!

Lance: 100% commitment. And at the same time, having loved his own till the end, they knew that he did what he did because he loved them. That’s the perfect tension. O’Keefe, I promise you, there are people there that love him and that are loyal to him, and that in a strange kind of dysfunctional way, you could see it. He’s alluding to it. He says in his transcript. He says, “I know that some of you are going to stay in touch with me. You’re going to work with me” because there are people that he knows love him and that he loves them. He’s just not a nurturing style leader. 

Mercedes: Yeah!

Lance: He is a highly competitive, dominant winner takes all, Breitbart Bannon style tank command. He’s a patent. But guess what? You got to hire smart James to Mercedes point. You got to have a board that will have this fight with you in private, not in public, where they’ll sit you down and say, James, the way you handled that was not professional. The way you handled, it was demeaning and destructive. You will not build an organization, nor will you have money coming to you if word gets out that you’re emotionally not capable of handling the growth.

Mercedes: Yeah, I think a couple of things as you’re talking, which is, like, I want to get your thoughts on this because it would be interesting to know what his disc style is because you’re making it sound like he’s a DC pattern. Right. Like a double task. Kind of like Paul would have been, but yet he was in Oklahoma, right? Didn’t he do that whole? So then that makes me think he’s like an eye. It’s like a showman, kind of like you. 

Lance: He was in Oklahoma.

Mercedes: Wasn’t he in the play? He was, like, the lead in this play in Oklahoma.

Lance: Are you serious?

Mercedes: Yeah! That’s one of the things I thought he got in trouble for him looking at Carl over there.

Lance: Carl? What do you mean 100%?

Mercedes: But he got in trouble.

Mercedes: Okay, so Carl’s saying if you can’t.

Lance: Hear him. He flew a grip that goes Oklahoma, where the sun comes down the plane.

Mercedes: He did like the Michael Jackson. He did a Michael Jackson thing, too. He’s got some ID.

Lance: Okay, all right, well, then in that case, what you have is the high ID that’s you, so the high I, high D. A sympathetic characteristic is that they either manipulate by charm or they intimidate by dominance. 

Mercedes: Yeah!

Lance: And one way or the other, they manipulate you, or they dominate you. And if they’re a verbal style, they will be aggressive and verbal.

Mercedes: It’s so true. It’s so true. And but, you know, I think it’s all a learning lesson. You know, I just looked it up because you were asking if he’s married. I didn’t see if he was married, but I did see that I am actually 13 days older than James. So he’s a younger guy.

Lance: You have more emotional maturity. I’m always amazed at well when you are being emotionally mature. I’m amazed at your management style and your capacity to be able to deal with people that are older than you and to do it with such management maturity, something James, I’m telling you, I love James. If you’re hearing me, say anything but supportive, you’re missing my point. 

I can 100% say these guys are knuckleheads for thinking they could do this without James O’Keefe project. It’s, like I said, Charlie Kirk and Turning Point. If Charlie was to have this experience, he would probably because he’s a Christian, he would be called in by a couple of his pastors. I would gladly volunteer to be there at an intervention in private and say what has to be said, like, Charlie, you’re brilliant. We love you. You’ve got to deal with the constraint. The constraint is there are ways of getting results in management without being a Neanderthal because it won’t work. You’ll break your organization, and your organization will break you.

Mercedes: Yeah, I think so. We’re like Bannon leaving the war room. It’s like he’s if it’s steveBannon.

Lance: Ohhh, yeah! Gets fired from the War Room, and War Room is going to continue on with Raheem. I love Raheem, but he’s not going to do it. It’s like, I’m sorry. So they made a mistake. The hubris of the board was thinking they could prove that Project Veritas can continue delivering cutting-edge work without James O’Keefe.

Mercedes: But think about the morale. The morale’s got to be nothing. The culture’s got to be…

Lance: It’s a divided church. It’s like Brownsville having a controversy during their revival. It’s going to kill it because you’re going to have people that are indispensable to the success of Project Veritas who are going to quit to go with James. And by the way, the donors are going to quit Project Veritas and go with James. Bunch of them are going to stick with them.

Mercedes: And worse yet, I envision James doing an undercover operation on the people that ousted him. Can’t you see him recruiting people to work in there? And then he’s not going to, like, bombard me. 

Lance: I guarantee right now you better check those cell phones because there’s a lot of recordings going on behind the scenes that’s going to come out later on the project. Barrett Sting, but listen, I don’t think that you can divorce the fact that there’s spiritual warfare over the fact that after the Pfizer thing break, just in the connection. Guys, please. The world won’t see it, but you’ve got to enjoy these aspects of what we can see. We got Night Goggles. Right after their greatest victory, they go through a break of counterattack, the backlash, the demonic backlash. It was like witchcraft came down, had to destroy them.

Mercedes: People say they were paid off. That’s what people are saying to the board, and that they’re paid off. James, what do you think about that theory?

Lance: I think not. 

Mercedes: No? 

Lance: I’ll tell you why. Because I think that what I’m seeing here is offended pride, I’m seeing professionals that are being treated. It’s kind of like when you get mad at me. It’s because something said, something done, can do more damage to the organization in terms of its psychic appreciation than people buying off competition. I don’t think Project Veritas is that kind of group. I think they’re there because they want to make a difference, doing really edgy journalism.

Mercedes: Although I’ve never thought to hold a coup and oust you from your own organism… 

Lance: Ohhh, you probably did… 

Mercedes: Could have been that effect…

Lance: We only have three people working here, and one of them is my son, and he’s got his own coup.

Mercedes: We have more than three people working here. There are just three people in the room right now.

Lance: Oh, there are three people in the room right now.

Mercedes: We have a larger team than that.

Lance: Yeah, I believe in a lean management style, me and Annabelle, basically. Alright, listen, folks, I can’t believe where the time went, and we didn’t even get to play all the clips I’ve got. What am I going to do? But anyway, James O’Keefe has been removed from project veritas. He’s been stripped of his role as CEO, put on paid leave. The Daily Beast is celebrating all the cranky. Other organizations are celebrating. But he did a very tearful and heartfelt 1 minute and 49 seconds rare moment of vulnerability sharing about how he started this thing with duct tape and a vision and literally duct tape Project Veritas onto a microphone while he did his first breakthrough broadcast. 

And I love James. I’m praying for him. He’s got lots of Christians around him. When I first met him, I thought he was a Christian. I found out quickly I thought he was, but I realized he really probably wasn’t. But I said to him, I’m praying for him. And he says, “I need it. I’ve got no less than seven lawsuits at any one time. I have to juggle, and they all want to destroy me”. And I thought, dear God, this young man needs all the support he can get. And now he needs some coaching, but we’re going to have to land this plane. 

Just remember this. Pray for Project Veritas. Pray for the war room with Steve Bannon. Pray for the people, that owners, and the CEOs that are over these organizations. Trust me, I’ve met them. I’ve talked to them, all of them have they’ve tried to buy them off. They tried to shut them down. They tried to intimidate them. It’s courage alone.
