Lance: We need a miracle. We need supernatural. We talk about a revival and awakening and Christians are praying for that. We have a kind of simplistic idea what that is because we live in our own little bubbles. But I want you to see where that revival has to go and what the revival has to do. And as I was pointing this out, I was saying that remember this, revival is always grassroots and revival is always individual and revival is always about reviving what once was vivified which means it deals with us. We’re rekindling. It’s revivals for the church. Awakening is for a culture and reformation is for the institutions. At the top of these mountains, a reformation is a reforming of institutions at the top of the mountains. Whether that’s political or judicial or educational. So, the reformation was a reforming of the Catholic Church and if the Catholic Church didn’t want to work with it. Well, Luther was ready to start a competing system. So, a system is a wineskin. If the system resists reforming another system will compete with it. Make sense?

So, reforming at the top reviving at the grassroots and when this is coming down the mountain and this is going up the mountain, a nation experiences a great awakening. It’s a combination. Itsgovernment is shifting as the United States had a great awakening and we start to see changes.But understand that the tops of the mountains are where the gates of influence are and the gates of influence is where the gates of hell locate. That’s why there’s so much insanity over a Kavanaugh nomination or a Donald Trump election. Because there’s disproportionate consequence on who gets into the cockpit and slides behind the plane dashboard. That one person, two or three people in the cabin crew have more power over the direction of that flight than the 300 or 400 people that are sitting there for the ride. Consequently, there’s a battle over this.

What’s the problem with the church? The church by and large is wedded to a paradigm. If we have this, more and more power, more and more visitation, more and more glory, more and more presence. I did this for 20 years, man. It was my paradigm. Why do you think I’m so passionate about doing what I’m doing now? I brought Randy Clark and I brought Kim Clint and I brought Mark Shrew and I brought Bill Johnson. I brought Heidi Bigger into my little nuclear reactor in Rhode Island. And we had splat to the wall. It was wild. We were like the revival culture. It was like and then people just we like constantly have it. And my theory was, if we could really get a breakthrough of some kind of unique type, Satan would be have to come down and then boom it would affect city of Providence the region of New England with a great awakening. This is my motto, and then one day the Lord said, the great commission is apostolic not prophetic. The Lordraised up the apostles. I was highly I was really into the prophetic, I love the prophetic I was thinking apostolic. Yes, of course. Apostolic. The Lord said, the great commission is, go ye. I said, yeah, go ye. Lord said, go ye. I looked it up. I looked it up in the Greek. I looked it up in Aramaic. I looked it up to see every variation of it and it literally means ye go. And then it goes into all the world. But you see the all the world to me was, yeah, we have this church and we’re going to go, Mozambique with Heidi Baker. With Russian Ukraine. Revival, revival, rebel, rubbing. Let’s really good with revival evangelism, evangelism, revival evangelist, plant a church, plant a church, plant a church, revival, evangelism, plant a church but they just replicated what we had. A church narcissically self-absorbed in its own visitation and irrelevant to the issues of the country. And then I get calls from the United Nations. I got called to Harvard for a thing. I got called to London School of Theology and I’m getting this pressure.

‘Well, you’re a kind of expert on culture.’ And I go, ‘Well, I didn’t know that. Can you tell us what’s happening?’ And as I began to step into what other people were thinking I did. I realized there are 7 mind molders of culture. We’re called to make disciples of nations not to pick up a couple of disciples in every nation. Our goal is the actual nation. We haven’t been taught that because we’re not thinking apostolically. We’re thinking prophetically and we’re thinking as a revival culture which is the great mischief of what’s in the body of Christ. It’s mischief because it works. It works long as the system is being preserved by somebody else but when the system collapses, there goes the biggest threat to your freedom.

So, what do you represent? You represent the go ye. So, this is going to be which one’s the modality? Is that the local? Kevin, the modality and sodality. Modality is local, sodality is the church at large, right? I’ll assume I’m right. So, a modality is the local church. The sodality is the body of Christ throughout a community. You know why we don’t have the power we need? Because we’re fragmented as a sodality and we organize as a modality and the pastors aren’t working together to change anything other than have a bigger church or a more revived group. You see the dilemma? But what if you go into all the world? Remember the gates of hell are at the top of these mind molders. That’s why I’m looking forward meeting the Crown Prince of the Saudi Arabia. I like meeting it in Yahoo. I like to meet them. I like to meet them if I know I have something that has to be said, because the number one problem with Guatemala, with Honduras, with is 50percent of the country Guatemala is Christian. This is criminal. This is crazy. This is incongruent.

Why do we have Guatemala coming across Mexico to break any of the United States when 50% of the country and it’s a prosperous economy. Why are 50% of the Christians in Guatemala not able to produce a in Guatemala. The issue really should be the wall. We should be looking at Honduras and Guatemala and say, what the heck is the church doing these people. We should be like focusing on how to go to the source so that we can create a nation people don’t want to get out of. That’s making disciples of nations. I’ll tell you what the problem is. Big churches are there. Because they’re friends of mine now. 20,000, 30,000, 40,000, 50,000 people. You know why we’re friends? Because the governments are now coming after them to shut them down. And now they’re starting to connect with each other. Because Telemundo and the media and the government. And the lawyers and they’re going to their bank accounts so that they could throw things in the news media in order to create a poisoning of the nation against them as money laundering agents so that they could shut down their operation.

Now the pastor going, what the heck? And they’re coming together which is great. However, God produces unity and be nice if it was because we wanted it but sometimes you just have unity because you have to. So, what’s happening is we should be looking these days but I’ll tell you the number one problem, corruption. Corruption, that’s the reason why these people are leaving these countries because somebody is getting money. The politicians getting paid off. The media people are getting paid off and the business people are getting paid off and everybody else is suffering. That’s corruption. If we were really smart, we’d be mobilizing the church to deal with corruption. The problem is you can’t invade the strong man’s house from around the corner. You can’t invade him from a TV set or a social media Facebook platform. You actually have to go into the strong man’s house. Go ye into. Go ye into all the world. Go ye into all the systems. Go ye into the strong man’s various houses. Go ye to the gates of influence.

I know this is getting more and more confused as I continue. This is my mind by the way. This is the problem I’ve got. But so, God wants to take you to the gates of influence. You have a word for rulers. You have a word for kings. Do you realize these did you get the idea now? Do you see why this this system has to have you. So, what are we doing with you? I’m saying you guys, you stick, you stay with your local. I’m actually on the board of a church and I’m on the board of several ministries. So, I’m not knocking. I church is an important thing. I told you yesterday, if it wasn’t for church, there’d be no evangelism. I’m talking about local churches. There’s nobody, no evangelism in the body of Christ. It’s being done primarily by corporate gatherings in conferences. But what I want you to see is this, making disciples of nations involves who’s controlling, who has the control of the mind and the spirit we’re up against is the spirit of mind control. And the more that the devil can control the media. The more that he can control politically what is on the media. The more that he can have the celebrities, the artists, the movie makers, the storytellers, the more that he has corrupt business people that are funneling the money into these sources and paying them off so that they can have their corrupt prosperity and the nation is actually suppressed, the more that the education system is producing Marxist or anarchist that fit the political ideology that’s getting paid off under the table, then the more that this nation becomes eventually a goat nation rather than a sheep nation.

We’re in the battle of nations right now. What does it have to do with you? Everything because we seek first the kingdom of God. God‘s going to add to you. If you seek first building his house or build your house. This is all about relationships because are going to be the agents. Now, watch this. You’re the agents that are actually an apostolic the modality of the local church is now going to yield to the Sodel. You know what is, and by the way, this is all language which is brilliantly written by a guy named Ralph Winners who is a consultant church growth consultant. He said, the local church in the Bible is like the epicenter of what’s going on. He said, but then, look at the apostle Paul. Look at Paul’s team and you look at Peter’s team. The teams are not a local church. They’re special forces. And he said, they’re sodalities. They’re mission-driven entities that invade new territory and what comes out of that when enough of invasion has happened is a local gathering of enough people.

I’m going to suggest to you that you are part of a mission movement. You’re to go into the mountain of education, into government, into media, into arts, into business, and the favor of God is going to bring you gradually and progressively to a place where you will be able to influence the spheres of influence. God will bring you before rulers and kings and the favor of God will cause you to rise like a cork rises to the top in the water. God wants to put you in a position of proximity to have a voice of influence. He’ll open the door for you.

Lance: You’re going in. Do you understand why if you’ll build God‘s house or build your house? Because your business, your career, your coaching, your enterprise. I know people have different levels of aspiration. All my peers are selling programs that help people to be able to monetize their line, get on a platform, get a stage. I I believe I introduce you guys to these people but at the end of the day, the thing that they aren’t saying which I am saying is the reason why I want you to go into the system is because the local church can’t and won’t. They don’t have the wine ski for it and they’re not going to suddenly get it. The data, I’ve got the data from Barna. I work with statisticians. 96% of believers in the churches want teaching. They don’t want to be told how to vote. They want biblical worldview, on transgender issue, on environment, on economics, socialism versus for enterprise. What’s really the issue here? Does the Bible have anything to say about ownership versus personal responsibility? What about the LGBT movement? What the church is looking for on race? They want to know about race.

The Church wants to know what is the Bible teaching these subjects because they all sense that there’s truth on these subjects. But 96% of pastors say these are important subjects, but they avoid them because the only it’s like you’re dealing with a bomb. You click the wrong wire. You do it the wrong way and there’s more pain associated with a mistake than there is gain associated with dealing with the subject. So, preachers avoid it. Do you know, I did a study? I was reading a study. It’s just so fascinating to me. It was, what was during the Civil War because we’re in a cultural Civil War right now.

Now, so a study was done on what did people preach during the Civil War and here’s what they found. They found there was three types of churches in the Civil War. There was the church in the North, there was the church in the South and then there was a church in the border states. The border states like Maryland and Kentucky and Delaware. These were the states that were skirting between the North and South and so they had northerners and southerners and it was kind of awkward because the state itself had to have a kind of a neutrality. So, here’s the deal. In the north, they preached the righteousness of the cause increasingly on freeing slaves. That became the new psychological motivator. It wasn’t say the union, that’s where it started. It gradually became in Lincoln’s inaugural address, you see it. This is the issue of dealing with the heinous past of slavery and God is extracting us through this national crisis. An ounce of blood for every lash, for every ounce of blood that the whip took from an innocent person. Now, we’re compensating with the lives of our sons and so let this, we pray for the healing and the end of this thing. But Lincoln was very profound. He was seeing the war in the context of God doing something and balancing the scales of justice. So, the North spoke on those things.

In the south, they weren’t necessarily defending the institution of slavery although that was the institutional narrative that comes out of it. They did not want to have outsiders imposing on them the command and control of the government coming in and telling them what to do. So, their thing was that they were fighting the war of independence constitutional freedom from the oppressor of the North and Lincoln the dictator. So, that was kind of like that narrative. I get both of them. Now the border states intrigue me. In the border states, where they were feeling the pressure of both sides, they preach something completely different. They focus on a kingdom of God and spirituality and advise people to stay out of politics. And when I heard that, it was like, what? I read it again. They preached the kingdom and spiritual themes and advise people to stay out of the divisiveness of politics.

I realized that almost every ministry today is a border state because we’re not in a geographic north and south. We’re in a mingling of culture so that means every pastor could feel like Maryland and so every preacher feels like Delaware. They have something to lose if they have a position and so that’s far easier to be abstract and focus on spiritual stuff. But it doesn’t serve the needs of the people who are looking for clarity and truth. So, that means that you’re going to have to be educated and able to have the truth and you’re going to have to have it in a non-toxic manner so that you can winsomely communicated to others and you have to, does this make sense to you? You have to be lovers of God and lovers of people with the discerning of spirits enough so that you know what the truth is. You know how to proclaim the truth and you’re a virus that is creating a spread of the vaccine.

And for this reason, the Lord‘s going to give you increased favor to penetrate various places. You need to and we need to be thinking about how do we go into all these systems. How do we go into all the world? And you’re the apostolic ambassador that’s going to go into that system. By the way, if you’re really called, you’re going to go where the darkness is located. Does that make sense? You go because if you’re really apostolic and prophetic, you’re going to go where the gates of hell are located. This is a great place to have a meeting here in sunny San Diego, but I’ll tell you what? Washington is not really and once you’ve been there a couple of times, it’s a spiritual it’s not the best environment but it has more angel activity than any place I’ve ever been.So, it’s kind of like weird. I go there, it’s a bit like Jerusalem. You go there and you feel all this traffic around you. It’s like spirits flying around and it’s an agitation because everyone has an agenda in Washington.

But I’ll tell you what man, when you line up and you walk into a door and an angel is with you, it’s strange. You start to have divine appointments all over the place. You start to attract to yourself meetings with people that are of extraordinary influence because they’re all influencers in Washington fighting for influence. So, can you accept the fact that you’re part of the sodality, you’re part of the extended church that’s going into all the world and what we’re doing is we’re going in because we’re going to affect the control that’s over the narrative of nations. I believe sheep nations are rising, goat nations are rising, and Jesus’s inheritance, the inheritance of Jesus is to break that mind control and release the power of truth to come into the minds of nations and it from Guatemala to Honduras. We’re having a whole different conversation now, because we have people fleeing these countries only because the church has not taken on the corruption in the high places.

It’s spiritual warfare. It’s the Narco traffic. It’s dangerous stuff. It’s like breaking bad in real life. But if the church is focused on changing culture, the three things that have to happen real quick.You have to have a police chief that is incorruptible. Because then they will use their power to corral the evil. You have to have a judge or a court that is incorruptible or they’ll put the people back on the street. You have to have an incorruptible judiciary. You have to have an incorruptible police chief and you have to have an incorruptible mayor. Where we’ve seen those three key officers come into position. We’ve seen the power of God check the power of darkness and shift the culture by dealing with the evil. When was the last time you heard a whole conference of revival or a TV series on you should be the mayor, you should be a judge, and you should be running the law enforcement? And yet those three positions are ultimately where the enemy picks off the compromise so that he can continue to create anarchy in communities, cities, and nations. But in the name of Jesus, we’re getting smarter at this stuff now and so you can influence a judge. You can influence a mayor and you can influence the chief of police. That’s your evangelism. That’s where you can actually shift them around. Is that make sense?
