Straight Talk about Prophetic Trends – with Mario Murillo

Lance: Whoa boy, I’ll tell you what if you’ve been following what’s going on with Stephen Crowder and The Daily Wire Kerfuffle and then what’s happening there and Ben Shapiro and even what’s in Candace Owens. She was like flipping out on Tim Pool that she was even repenting on her own show for getting angry on Tim Poole now I want to go see what happen on Tim Pool. But that’s nothing compared to the turmoil in the prophetic toy box right now that Mario Murillo stirred up. I’m telling you something. This guy he pulled the pin out of the grenade it’s exploding all over the places. Well, and it’s coincidentally he and I had a scheduled appointment right now. So, here I am again associating with him in the midst of the explosions that are being created. But I’m excited to interview him and talk about the prophetic battle that’s going on The Awakening that God is sending and the nature what it looks like.

Welcome, welcome to the Lance Wallnau Show from Coast to Coast and around the world. We are now closing in on our 9 million downloads and everyday it seems as though I don’t know why but new people are coming along and catching up with us. Mercedes Sparks is with me here. Flying copilot today. We’re going to really be taking this plane up to another altitude. We have none other than Mario Murillo on, who is really I just has a unique, I think one of the unique gifts of journal and prophetic journalism. Although you’re known as an evangelist, I have to say that there’s a certain type of evangelism that you do from Berkeley early on. And you’ve always been drawn in the David Wilkerson’s and these guys. There’s something about you that has a very strong as and your gifts are word of knowledge, word of wisdom, gifts of healing,gifts of faith. You’re moving in this discerning gifts. It’s very prophetic. You’re one of the most prophetic evangelist, I’ve ever met, And everyone’s watching this, so we might as well go ahead and talk about what’s happening now.

You waiting into what you believe is a necessary adjustment to the national dialogue that Christians are having and I believe that with our events that we’ve got the Fire and Glory Tour,the types of events that you’re doing for the tent meetings and then teaming up. I really do believe that there’s a potential alchemy here that can feed into the great awakening and you’re sensing something that can hurt the national move of God and what God wants to do because of in the narrative and confusion in the minds of the people who should be in unity on a move of God. So, give us an update as to what your present state of mind is regarding what the church needs to be paying attention to get in alignment with what God wants to do.

Mario: Alright, that is a wonderful opportunity and I’m going to seize it. My primary concern is to win souls and I feel that the church is being discredited by extremes in the prophetic movement. They are now too beyond the pale, they’re incontrovertible, they are totally outside of scripture and the reason I’m adamant about them and I’ve gone public is because of something that it says in the Epistle of Peter. Because of them, the way of truth is slandered. Nobody has to look very far to find videos of prophetic extremes that are being used against us and it isn’t that I advocate the left. Believe me, I believe that the leftist movement right now is the most satanic thing going on in our country. But to win the lost to Christ, I had to take this stand and I also want to cite Amos because I think this gives a context to why me. This should have been addressed a long time ago by others than myself.

The fact is the that it got handed so far down the food chain to me because others were unwilling to look at it. Denominational leaders should’ve. Leaders that are Christians who care about America should have addressed these extremes. And it’s threatening to discredit us. And I felt that God said, it’s your turn. Amos said I’m not a prophet neither the son of a prophet, but the burden of the Lord. He went and prophesied not only outside of his realm, but outside of his nation in order to address the burden of the Lord that God had given him and as a soul winner, that was my motivation.

Lance: And I think it makes sense. If you’re involved with harvest and we’re all praying and prophesying and talking about a third-grade awakening, if the devil could get in and confuse the core group that really has to press in for that awakening, well then, he’s accomplished his purpose. So, let’s take a look at what specifically are the current trending practices and doctrines that are not working. Of course, we know the predictive element gets to be kind of ludicrous after a while. If you keep on predicting something that doesn’t happen, then you look like you’re a lousy weatherman and you can get discredit the whole God told me type of thing. But beyond that, I’m concerned that there’s an audience that is so desperate to hear about the future that we’re in danger of falling into that trap that Paul talked about. Which is with the internet especially heaping up to ourselves teachers having itching ears.

An example of that is the biggest church in Texas. I just talked to one of their key guys this week. He said that they’ve stopped their, they’ve gone from 5 services on Sunday to two. And they’ve increased their finances in their audience. Because when COVID came they discovered that Zoom and the internet would give them an audience that was bigger than people showing up. So, in a sense the amount of commitment it takes to go to church, to give in church, to associate and affiliate, to neglect not the assembling of yourself together. Sorry to say, they’re happy to not have people assemble together so long as they got eyeballs on Sunday and the cash flow is good.But the church is getting weaker, because people are the same people that are internet cruising on the weekend that like this church are internet cruising over to other voices that are handling dealing with the anxieties that are people’s life.

What’s going to happen in the future? What’s going to happen with the economy? What’s going to happen with the government? What’s going to happen? And when you have people filling that market demand on the internet, you got the perfect scenario for people heaping up to themselves teachers because they’ve got itching ears and creates an audience demand on people and the profits are the perfect ones to fit that void. Because they’re talking about the things that are itching the ears. The things people want to know about. The unknown future. So, I mean do you see that as part of what the problem is? Because our harvest is going to be an internet phenomenon as well?

Mario: Well, when I wrote the article that I did, one of the consistent comments was 97% of the comments were positive. And they said why didn’t someone talk about this before? Why did it take so long? Why have people been so quiet when it’s gotten this far? Well one of the things that is important is the comments that those that were for the prophets were saying, well, what’s wrong with if this person isn’t a real prophet, tell me who is? And so, I would address it and say, why do you need a prophet?

Mercedes: Yeah.

Mario: What happened to the church that all of a sudden, a daily word from off the internet became mandatory. You have prayer, you have the Bible, you have the word of God. No one’s addressing this shift that suddenly says, I have to have a word from the Lord from a human person. I have to have it. Now, I call that prediction addiction and it’s rampant, and now I need to comment. There’s an episode of Twilight Zone with William Shatner where they’re a young married couple and they stop at a diner and there’s a machine where you can put a coin in it and ask it a question and get an answer. Here’s the same man. He’s going to be a successful promoted salesman and he puts the coin in and he asked it a question and it began as a joke. But then the question was a little bit nebulous but the answer seemed to answer it. It seemed to be right. So,he’s putting in coins. After a while his wife says, honey, I think you’re getting a little bit weird here with this. No, no, no I need to ask you one more question. I need to ask you one more question.

And that’s I’m going to tell you that anybody that’s on the internet right now that promises you a daily reading from God is someone you need to run away from like nuclear waste. Because they can’t possibly put a demand on God that he has to prophesy every single time every single day. That’s my opinion. And I believe the word of God backs up what I’m saying. And I’m going to say that if you stopped reading the Bible in favor of words from a man, it is not God who’s speaking to you. Because that is a disastrous habit that he would never reinforce.

Mercedes: Yeah.

Mario: Matter of fact, I believe that if you’ve left discipline study of the word of God itself in favor of other ways of communicating with God that God literally stopped talking to you because it’s the only way he could responsibly handle this dangerous trend that you are following and that’s why I’m speaking out. Now, another problem is that it gets very dark. These visitations to heaven. These constant references to loved ones, your loved one, the spiritist movement in England took off to the point where more people were going to seances than the Church of England and they wanted information on their loved one. Did they make it? Did they not make it? So here we have entire programs dedicated now to an individual saying, yes, I was in heaven and I saw your aunt and I saw so and so and this one you thought didn’t make it. They had a second chance given to them by Christ and they’re safe now.

Now, that is indulgences like the Catholic Church gave in the Middle Ages. And the fact that men and women of God have been afraid of their own reputations more than to deal with what is a deeply, deeply dangerous and disturbing trend and that they’ll assail me. How dare you come against mountains of Jello, and cows driving tractors and Christopher Reeves giving flyinglessons or that I can be anywhere and suddenly I’m in heaven again with more information for you.

Lance: Or in Niagara Falls made of Hershey’s chocolate.

Mario: Exactly. And it gets worse than that.

Lance: People have died of diabetes.

Mario: Love that verse yeah.

Mercedes: Well, Mario, it reminds me, my husband, and Larry and I talk about this and I had this this one verse kind of drop in my spirit when we’re talking about it. I think it’s indicative of the state of the church in a lot of ways and it’s Matthew 16:4 it says, “A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given except the sign of Jonah”. There’s something I think that’s manifesting in the body, and I think it was born out of uncertainty with all the things that were prophesied regarding the election that didn’t happen. And now all of the sudden you’re right, we have this condition where people have been trained almost like Pavlov’s dog for what’s the word for today. And honestly, it puts a demand on prophets that there’s supposed to be,Lance calls it like a prophetic pest dispenser. So, what happens when you’re a prophet and you show up to a meeting and the Lord doesn’t give you a word for the church that is a spoken word,but maybe he’s just giving you the word to be talking from. So, I think it’s important that you address this, but as the body we have to address it. I don’t think, I for me I don’t think all the blame is laid at the feet of these false prophets to Lance’s point, the people heap up for themselves.

Mario: Right.

Mercedes: Prophets and teachers. And so, what’s wrong with the condition of the body where we’re replacing to your point God‘s written word. The Holy Spirit speaking directly to me because the curtain was torn in the temple. Holy Spirit speaks to me now. I don’t have to go through a mediator. That was the whole point of why Jesus came. We don’t need a mediator anymore. Jesus is a mediator and he speaks to us individually. So, I just think it’s interesting why the people are essentially doing.

Mario: And I want to comment if I could real quickly to that and then I’m going to have Lance comment on my comment which is this. here was a young lady a 100 years ago that knew how to use misdirection to appear to lift very, very heavy objects and it was amazing. People came by the thousands to watch her pick up 250-pound man with one hand seemingly. And it was remarkable until a news reporter found out how she did it. When they did, they did a large report and to his thinking we proved it, we showed, they snuck secret pictures exposed her entirely and the crowds didn’t drop off, and they were and so, he had to interview one of them as they’re leaving what they now know is a magic show it’s not real power. They claimed we just don’t want to lose the feeling that we get in her show. Now here’s what’s going on. We’re now have what I call the God is about to movement, where a man makes a distinct prediction or a young woman goes online and says on this date this is going to happen, then it doesn’t happen.

Normally that would create accountability but they survive, because of the feeling and they say Now God‘s about to. So, the God‘s about to movement is, I said that. It didn’t come to pass. I’m not going to address it. I’m going to ignore it. I’m going to act like it didn’t happen. And I’m going to move on to the next prediction. And suddenly there’s a string of predictions. And one person said to me, well yeah, this young girl she’s off. She’s made several mistakes. But she’s also been right. And I said to them, what airline are you going to fly that land safely some of the time. And a prophet has no room, no wiggle room to say God told me and then it doesn’t come to pass without then repentance. And that’s where the church, when the Bible says itching ears, it literally means they need they’re defined in the Acts 17.

When they said they gathered in Athens and Mars Hill just to hear a new thing. Just something new. With no reference or look, and I’m asking people that are watching. Your soul is too important to leave in the twilight zone of someone’s word to you, that will suddenly and they’re using this to decide to get out of their marriage. They’re using this to say I’m going to move to a different city and none of it is based on hearing from the word of God or reliable pastoral care.

Mercedes: Yeah.

Mario: It’s just a knee jerk emotional experience.

Lance: And to your point the word that we use for that is hopeium. It’s when people become so addicted to the need to have hope and the adrenaline rush. The dopamine punch that comes with you watch right now. God‘s about to reverse everything and he’s turning this whole thing over and you’re going to see Biden’s coming out and then Trump is actually coming in. There’s plans you don’t know of that we know of. It’s doing. There’s always this this implication of secret knowledge which by the way is the nature of Gnosticism and the occult that there’s some hidden mystery that you can’t penetrate but that the priesthood, the craft, knows how to divine the code. And will interpret it for you if you just come and sit at our feet. We’ll only share what God shows us. So, it creates this weird thing where you actually think they hear better than you do about things that God could talk to you about as easy as to them.

So, for instance, I got involved with this in the prophetic, because the word I got about Trump was not popular. What people got to realize is when prophets are prophesying what you want to hear, you ought to be doubly cautious about what you’re hearing. Because I can promise you, it’s like Bob Mumford once said, if you really want to know what God‘s trying to tell you, look at everything you didn’t underline in the Bible. It just makes a lot of sense, because we’re all underline in our favorite verses. We’re not underlying what God‘s trying to say.

So, when Trump came long. Nobody wanted him. They wanted Ted Cruz. They wanted Mike Huckabee. They wanted Ben Carson. They wanted somebody else. They didn’t want Donald Trump but that was so I had to bear the reproach of standing with a word and then when Trump got in, everybody and his brother jumped in and claimed. So, now the swimming pool is loaded with Trumpian prophets. But my problem was, I couldn’t hear more than I was hearing and I was thinking, well, maybe that was just a season. I now realize I was trained properly by Ladder Rain and Kim Clement not to prophesy what I’m not hearing.

So, I had nothing else to say. Everybody else has got a thousand words coming out. I said, no, it’s fine. I’ll just talk about something else. Then I wrote a book because I was worried about the election, when it came time. And while I’m saying this is God‘s chaos candidate. I’m also saying I think the election to be stolen. I think what’s going to happen is I named three out of five swing states. I put it in writing and then on a book and then I said, it’s going to Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania. You’re going to watch this this election get stolen. You’re going to see the Trump winning when you go to bed. And when you wake up the next morning, ballots are going to show up and they’ll gradually and incrementally balance out the tally and the election will be stolen.

I put it in writing and but I didn’t want to; I wasn’t trying to make a living off of predicting stuff. So, I contend for this thing to be reversed around January 20th. On January 20th when I realized the inauguration had gone the way it went. I remembered what the Lord showed me from David. When David had the baby with Bathsheba and he had cried out to God and was fasting and crying. I mean we had Zoom calls and prayers where and people would mis misunderstand it that I’d be praying like prophetic prayers of decrees but they weren’t prophecies. It was like God said this happen, it’s like this is what the Bible says and I was trying to prophetically decree and in preparatory prayers on the enemies that would try to steal this thing.

Well, I knew in January 20th, the image came to my head of David seeing his servants whispering and saying, what is it. They were worried to tell him. They thought he lose his mind. He was so upset about the baby and the moment he heard it he was reconciled to the fact that God wasn’t going to do what he wanted him to do. And he washed himself, he shaved a bathe and he went in and worship. That’s exactly what I attempted to do. I said, my God, what’s going to happen to America? I could see where we’re at now coming. What’s going to happen to America? I couldn’t keep doubling down as the other prophets did on, he’s coming back. He’s coming back. He’s coming back and that’s when the division between me and my right-wing prophetic Trump supporting prophets got bigger and bigger. I stopped getting invited on their shows, because they kept on layering more and more what God‘s doing.

Mario for me, I’m saying this for people out there that that need to know, God isn’t talking to the prophets about what’s going to happen in the electoral arena. They’re acting like he is and I’m telling you as a prophet who started the thing off with Trump. They’re not hearing, because I went to the Lord and I said, what are you going to do with Donald Trump what are you going to do. Lord if you could tell anyone you’ll tell me because I was with Kim Clement with the day that we I got met Trump and got the word. It was supposed to be with Kim Clement and he meeting with him. I mean, this is close to a hand off as you get prophetically and here’s what the Lord said to me. Took me to John. Jesus says to Peter after his resurrection. Verse 18 chapter 21,folks, get your Bible. “Truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to gird yourself, you walk where you wanted, when you grow old, you’re going to stretch out your hands and someone else will gird you and bring you where you do not wish to go”.

Now, this he said, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God, and when he had spoken this, he said to him, “Follow Me. Seal that off”. Now, Peter, only Jesus can do this. He tells you how you’re going to die and it’s a bad death and it’s a martyr’s death and you’re actually edified. Peter evidently is not made morbid out of this. He turns around. He sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following him, his buddy John, the one who also lean back on Jesus’s bosom.So, Peter says, jeez to Jesus. “What about him Lord? What are you going to do with him?” He wants to know how he’s going to die. Basically, he’s a I’m going to go this way. How’s he going to go? Which is fascinating.

It’s an insight into the relationship the disciples had with the rabbi. Jesus answered Mario was what the Lord told me about Trump and DeSantis. Jesus said to him, “if I want him to remain until I come. What business is that of yours? You follow me”. And right away the Lord said if I want Trump back in the White House what business is that of yours? You’ve got a lot on your plate man. You’ve got to be accountable for. You follow me. And I think a lot of Christians are not because of this false prophetic hopium addiction. They’re actually missing the voice of the Lord which is why I’m worried about what’s happening and why the awakening is fragile until the church gets adjusted. Because God isn’t talking to the prophets or to the people about who the next president is. He’s saying, you’ve got work to do, young man, young woman. You follow me. You better be paying attention every day to what I’m saying, and if you’re listening to these guys and prophesying the mysteries of what’s going on. You go from one prophet to the other piecing together the breadcrumbs of a narrative. You’re actually not hearing what God wants to say to you following him in the move of God right now. That’s my concern.

Mario: Now yep, I want to jump in here. That is why you and I got together in Dallas to talk and pray together about the condition of the church. And I’m going to make these points as fast as I can, because I want to make sure I get something said here. Number one we believe in the prophetic. I am not in anti-supernatural. I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. Let me tell you when Oral and Katherine Khulman came, divine healing was in a swamp. Many of the evangelists at that time had gone off in crazy extremes. It wasn’t just that Katherine and Oral came along and started healing the sick. They came and brought biblical order to the manifestation of the healing gifts of the Holy Spirit.

I believe true are about to rise up. I believe that voices from God are about to emerge and they’re going to put the fakes out of business. I’m not trying to take away your gift of knowing the prophetic or receiving a prophetic word. Maybe it’s not going to be the daily horoscope but it will be of the biblical version of the true moving of the spirit. Now, when we went to Fort Myers and you and I were together and we did the first of our tour, which is Fire and Glory, which is essentially this. Let’s have a true outpouring of the spirit. Let’s have a move of God that allows us to understand from the Bible and the moving of the spirit and the power of God how we ought to be living right now what it means to get together and we saw people saved and miracles happen.So, now we’re announcing the second one which is going to be on March 19th, 20th and 21st of all places the World Equestrian Center. We already have 1,100 people registered and we want to make sure that you’re registered.

Now, I’m not throwing this in as the end all and answer to everything we’re raising on this program, but I do want you to know that we’re going after it. Lance and I aren’t just going to point out the flaws. We want to model the answer and want to get people to experience the outpouring of the spirit in a Biblical Christ-centered that will be extremely encouraging. That’s why we want you to register.

Lance: And we’re saying to partner with this. We’re basically putting of our own resources into this about $200,000 per event. But we believe it’s necessary and I’ll tell you why these are so powerful. Because we’re pushing into as close as we can to the very prophetic vein of what Godis saying in the awakening to America. And part of an adjustment, we’re hearing in terms of what we’re listening to right now, but it’s being confirmed with supernatural signs and wonders.

Mario: Yes, it is.

Lance: I have seen some of the most outrageous Book of Acts style miracles. We’re going to try to get the footage for you. We couldn’t fit it in today’s program. I’m talking about a woman who got healed of cancer. Is this true Mario? To such an astounding degree that her own doctor was impacted by the testimony?

Mario: Yes, she was crying. She was weeping because of she saw the before and after and saw that and then the woman that was healed played a video of the moment when the word of knowledge was being expressed. This goes home to what we’re trying to tell you. We want the real. We’re not here to witch hunt and dedicate the gift of prophecy. It’s our love for the prophetic. It’s our love for the move of God. It’s our love for the Bible that motivates us.

Mercedes: Amen.

Mario: And it isn’t enough to be a critic. We have got to demonstrate it ourselves and that’s why God, I think gave us. This this partnership that Lance and I have in order to demonstrate in a balanced way what God is trying to do in America. We’re going to have our revival. The left is not going to win. We’re going to see and uncover the wickedness and the system that’s in our nation that is stealing our freedom. We’re going to get to it. God‘s not going to answer it to a golden tongue orator who’s a politician. But men and women of God that nobody had ever heard of that are going to rise up and be used of the Lord in a mighty way.

Lance: And what I love about you Mario is that I hardly ever get invited out to those churches,because they think I’m just going to be a prophetic hot potato. But, in your case, you’re doing something that’s healing the relationship of the awakening with churches because we’ve got 20, 30, 40, 50 pastors at a time that are churches that are part of this. The success is based on the fact that churches feel safe dealing with the real Book of Acts and Sound Doctrine. And in Bakersfield you’ve got your revival, it’s about to break out. How many you’re sold out for the lunch? How many pastors and leadership?

Mario: We sold out for the brunch, for pastors and leaders we have 800 people that have registered. We’re totally sold out and we’re working with the local church, within the local church to strengthen the local church and its common sense. We’re going to have thousands saved, gangsters, drug addicts, homeless people when our tent goes up in March on the 12th, 13t, 14th, and 15th. I’m going to go right from our tent over to Ocala, but in those 4 nights, those converts have got to be placed in churches. That’s why we’re building this coalition, this partnership with leaders that are in the word of God. I’m telling you we have heard this across the nation, the solid strong Christian leaders are rallying to our cause. They’re saying, bring the 10thwe want those converts we want you to do it and that’s why Bakersfield, it’s February the 4thSaturday it’s sold out. It’s at City Serve in Bakersfield and it’s going to be the launch of our outreach to this very hurting city, but it’s going to spread across America. I believe that.

Lance: It is well. It’s coming from the West Coast in California to the East Coast in Florida and I believe it’s going to be the beginning of many more. These are we’re in the Third Great Awakening. I was with Andrew Womack. He was hesitant to say it, but he just stepped out. I encourage you to say it. He said, historians never quite know that they’re in a movement until the movement has already started. Then, they go back and fix the dates. He said, I believe America’s already in an awakening. It’s just waking up to the awakening it’s in and I think that this Fire and Glory is part of it. If you don’t mind me saying so and I have to land the plane here. We’re going to do a part two, for those of you who want to know. We’re not done with the prophetic conversation. There’re more exciting little tidbits to come out of this conversation. But I got a text after your post came out your first article came out which went off like a grenade. And this evangelist well known and I didn’t get his permission to mention his name, so I won’t do it on the air live. But he texted me. He said, I am so glad that Mario did what he did, because in the he used was interesting.

He said, I believe he was challenged to have to do that so that God could trust him with the integrity of the harvest he wants to send. He needed to obey God and say what had to be said. It was a prerequisite to him going to the next level of being trusted with the authority of the harvest that God is giving him. Does that resonate with you at all?

Mario: Perfectly. Yeah, that I mean that is such it’s going off in my spirit so completely. Right on.

Lance: Yeah, and he say, he said, what he was concerned was what would have happened if he hadn’t. He said, my concern is what would have happened if Mario said, I don’t need the warfare. I don’t need the controversy. Like the prophets are trying to say in their own messages to you right now. I’ll stay in my lane. I don’t have to deal with them. I’ve got my own work I’m doing,but you had to do this because it’s a national movement and that means that we’re going to have all kinds of voices. I think you’re going to align some enemies to the national move actuallygoing to be on your side now because they’re realizing you’re making a distinction between what you’re saying and what the others are saying. And in that distinction, I think you’re going to find allies that would have maybe rejected the movement without you saying what had to be said.

Mario: Wow, that’s amazing. That’s I’m amazed. That’s amazing.
