Sometimes Good News Comes in Strange Packages

You need to hear the good news now and then. This is GOOD. The filibuster is a mechanism that ensures the Senate cannot force thru dangerous or divisive legislation without a 60 vote majority in the Senate. As they are tied 50/50 the forcing of any controversial legislation upon the American people by one party or another is temporarily not an option.
You may not like Mitch McConnell or Lindsay Graham, but my guess is their long history with Biden paid off in some sort of candid, off-the-record exchange where Mitch explained that messing with the filibuster will result in a commitment from Republicans to shut down business till Midterms. An option that hurts both leader’s aspirations to look good for their constituents.
The Liberty bell, even when cracked, still rings. Keep praying for America.
