Schumer: Obama ‘Very Amenable’ to Helping Senate Dems in Midterm | The Hill
The Hill: Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer said in an interview Wednesday that he expects former President Obama to continue to be active in national races ahead of the November midterms. He also said he had reached out to the former President on several different issues relating to this year’s elections.

Excerpt from The Hill:
The former president has waded in to the November contests already, fundraising for vulnerable Missouri Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill, and endorsing Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) in her primary against liberal challenger Kevin De Leon.
In the interview, Schumer defended vulnerable Democrats including New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez (D), who successfully battled corruption charges brought by the Justice Department under the Obama administration.
