Prayer Directives

  • President Trump – Pastor Andrew Brunson, who was freed last year from being imprisoned in Turkey, was present along with President Trump at this year’s Values Voters Summit. Pastor Brunson had the opportunity to pray over the President. Here’s an excerpt from his powerful prayer: “Father God, I ask now for an impartation of your Holy Spirit, may the fullness of the Spirit of Jesus rest upon President Trump, that he be anointed with wisdom and understanding, with your counsel and might, with knowledge and fear of the Lord, and accordingly may President Trump not judge by what he sees with his eyes or decide by what he hears with his ears or lean on his own understanding but may he recognize your prompting and move according to your guidance.” To read the full transcript, or watch the video, click here.

  • Turkey, Syria, And The Cease-Fire – According to an article in the Epoch Times, a “U.S. delegation led by Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo negotiated with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to agree to a five-day ceasefire in Syria, Pence said on Oct. 17. Turkey’s week-long military incursion in northern Syria, which it called “Operation Peace Spring,” was met with tough resistance from a new alliance between local Kurdish forces and their previous enemy, the Russian-backed Syrian government.” Pray that this peace will hold and for innocent life to be kept out of harm’s way. Continue to pray for our government leaders to discern the truth and that God will give them wisdom and effective strategies.

  • Abortion Issues – The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals blocked an Ohio law that prohibits women from having abortions because they would otherwise give birth to babies with Down syndrome, relying on Roe v. Wade to support the decision. Pray for the judges who sit on America’s courts to rule fairly and objectively based on facts and law.

  • Israel And The Middle East –Israel will soon have new precision-guided hypersonic, stand-off missiles, for its F-35 and other fighter jets. These are seen by many as “upping the ante” in Syria. Iran has taken notice of the new missiles, known as Rampage. Israel will soon cede control of two parcels of land after Jordan refused to extend leases outlined in a peace accord. Farmers who have worked the land for decades say the government has failed them. Pray for Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is still seeking to form a government while dealing with both foreign and domestic matters.
