Have you ever heard the magnificent sound that a mighty, rushing river makes? Now, imagine that same sound but it’s coming from thousands of people all praying in one accord!
I wonder if it might be similar to when those 120 people all gathered in the Upper Room together with the disciples? What an amazing time that must have been!
After Jesus rose from the dead he gave them a powerful promise and instruction:
4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” – Acts 1:4-5
The 120 gathered daily, praying As One in the Upper Room until on that fiftieth day when they were ALL filled with the Holy Ghost!
