Oklahoma Now Has Strictest Abortion Ban In The Country

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, signed the strictest abortion ban into law on Wednesday. The new law  considered the strictest in the nation, protects life in the womb beginning at conception, all the way to birth.

Governor Stitt released a statement after signing the bill: “I promised Oklahomans that as governor, I would sign every piece of pro-life legislation that came across my desk and I am proud to keep that promise today.”

The law, H.B. 4327, does provide a few exceptions which includes rape, incest, or to save the mother’s life. 

In the face of Roe v Wade, Oklahoma is currently the only state to ban almost all abortions.
