NEW: Emails Show US Officials Aware China Withheld Data; Trained Wuhan Institute Scientists

The legal group Judicial Watch made an important announcement on Wednesday, saying they had obtained documents through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit for records of communications, contracts, and agreements with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (No. 1:21-cv-00696)). The lawsuit specifically sought records about NIH grants that benefitted the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The legal firm released the 90 pages, which include emails and other documentation this week, between the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the Wuhan Institute of Virology on the subject of grants to the laboratory.

Tom Fitton President of  Judicial Watch, posted on Twitter saying that the “…slow-rolling and stonewalling by Fauci’s agency on China, gain of function, and its COVID response general is pure obstruction.”

Judicial Watch has been investigating the origins of COVID-19 since at least October 2020 when they uncovered emails showing a WHO entity pushing for a press release, approved by Dr. Fauci, “especially” supporting China’s COVID-19 response.
