Welcome to the Lance Wallnau Show and one of my favorite parts of being in the business I’m in is I get to interview all kinds of people. Some of them actually are working behind the scenes and I want to bring them out from back in the shall we say in the shadows out to the forefront and there’s no area that is more delicate than when you are an adviser a consultant a spiritual covering a confidant of political or business or Hollywood leadership. Because for some reason the devil loves to take that information and manipulate it because it’s such a powerful role. But I have a guest today who’s expertise for 25 years has been in working as a confidant to leaders in Washington as a Christian ambassador. So, Kimberly Genau thank you for being with me today.

Kimberly Genau: It’s amazing to be here with you Lance after so many years.

Lance: I know. I met you in my various exploits in Washington.

Kimberly Genau: Right.

Lance: And many of which here’s the thing. You don’t do photo ops with stuff. If you’re meeting with Billy Graham made that mistake. He went out in the front lawn after meeting with Truman and knelt down for a picture and Truman was furious and it was the last time, he ever talked about what he did in Washington.

Kimberly Genau: 100%.

Lance: Because that’s and now the problem is you’re funded by faith. So, here’s the conundrum. How do you do significant work behind the scenes that nobody knows about? Well, that’s a little bit of a challenge. Listen George Mueller praying in your orphanage funds every day. You need someone to help you out. So, I was talking Kimberly. I said, you’ve got another gala coming up and you’ve got congressmen and their wives and various people. Our tribe of concerned patriot Americans that are on the front lines of saving America, we really resonate with people like this.And it’s lonely up here. You’re in Washington DC you think with all the prayer billions of dollars of interest we’re all sending this political causes and elections. There’s very little funding for the spiritual resources of the kingdom of God and what’s going on. Give us what your work is.

Kimberly Genau: Absolutely. So, we serve as a spiritual resource to government leaders and their families and our three main points are confidential prayer, biblical devotions, and friendship. What our real work is often behind the scenes. So, we have a number of different members of congress and they say to us, there’s a great video actually on our website and kind of a banter back and forth between congressman and his wife, Congressman Mike Boss and his wife Tracy. She says, when we walk in that door, I can just be Mike’s wife and Mike jumps in and says, no, you’re Tracy and she’s like, oh, shut up.

Lance: Right.

Kimberly Genau: So, it’s a great banter but it’s the fact that they can just be themselves as opposed to a title and what they do.

Lance: How do you meet these congressmen and their wives so they’re in Washington. Some of them are there for the first time. How does this connection happen? Is it just somebody knows somebody that no that says meet them or what?

Kimberly Genau: It’s interesting because probably about oh gosh I don’t know how many years ago it was. But I had working with a congressman and his wife for many years and then they retired and then a new member and spouse of course came to Washington. I went to an event and there was a lot of Q&A afterwards and there was a table that you could clearly tell that these were believers, the spouses of members of congress based on the questions they asked. So, immediately, I hit a B line over to them to talk afterwards and I said, oh, I want to introduce myself. I’m Kimberly Genau, founder of Alabaster House and immediately, one of the spouses said, I’m supposed to meet you and I great here I am. So, of course, there is that the referral from others that have been there for many years saying, when you get up there come and find us. So of course, that happens but a lot of it is just the community you invite them to come to different events. We host retreats, chapels, we’re 45 minutes from the capitol. Last month, we hosted a retreat for congressional spouses and wives, spouses of government leaders.

Lance: So, on the average how many spouses actually would show up?

Kimberly Genau: Well, it depends on the air this is.

Lance: 3, 4, 5.

Kimberly Genau: No, we have a group of them that come so we have multiple tables and it also just depends on when you have it and what’s happening in congress. But we had several tables of spouses that came. We have a brunch out on the, typically out on the lawn it’s a little bit chilly this day. So, we allowed them to go out afterwards and pray for them individually. But the topic that we’re focusing on is really how do you balance the demands of Washington with your faith. So, you want to interject faith really into everything.

Lance: And I got to say this because I just read an article written by a secular journalist who said if you really want to know like this is weird. Mitch McConnell’s you know inside track or some of these politicians. They go to the wives. The wives influence the husbands. I’ve known this for years intuitively. But it’s called the meeting after the meeting. And so, there’s a meeting, right? And it’s whatever that board meeting is. You want to know what the meeting is after the meeting and that meeting in my business is called Pillow Talk. That’s when the wife and the husband have their heads on the pillow. They’re wrapping up the day and what do you think happen? What do you think? That’s the most candid, honest, trusting communication. And if you’ve got Pilate’s wife on your side, she’s going to be sending a note to Congressman Senator or governor. Hey, my girls and I have been praying about this. Be careful what you do and that that’s not through the staff that’s coming through a whole different Oikos in the Greek. You’re really working within the Oikos of the biblical world which is the family, the marriage, the church, the spiritual, and the friendship and that’s a whole system that we could put up alongside this other thing we call the swamp and we can reach into the swamp and pull the fish out of the swamp. We there everyone’s not an enemy to us.

Kimberly Genau: Right.

Lance: In fact, our attitude ought to be we have no enemies. We just have people that don’t love us. That’s all.

Kimberly Genau: Well, I want to say that as you know, if you’re going to talk to a female, she’s going to really tell you the inside scoop. So, back in 2015, we partnered with some of the key females to actually change the spiritual atmosphere in Washington. There’s a lot of division polarization much like you find today, what we brought them together for what we designed called the Capital Coffee and we had different leaders within that group and spouses were their husbands were going up against one another. I brought them there ahead of time to actually build some bridges. So, they ended up praying for one another and I’m telling you that these were the ones that were going against one another. So, as a result of stepping forward and saying, you know what? Let’s see what God can do in the context of friendship and relationship with one another. And he restores things.

Lance: We got to do. We have to do this. It used to be I have friends of mine that would complain about these guys act like in public. There enemies and then in private there they are at the bar or their friends or they go on vacation together. I say, good. I mean that, good. Because I’d rather have people that have personal rapport with each other.

Kimberly Genau: Right.

Lance: That have ideological differences. Then people that hate each other and have no continuity for communication. Jesus said that if someone’s going to war with you and they have more troops than you then go seek terms of peace or while you’re on your way to the court see if you can win over your adversaries. Two analogies Jesus gave to actual statesmanship.

Kimberly Genau: Well, I think there definitely are every day. They face pressures, the adversaries, the media, the things that they get pummeled with day after day. So, it is very important, a ministry like Alabaster House. We can come alongside and help foster those moments that they can invest in their marriages together. Washington, there’s a lot of things for members. There are maybe things for the spouses but we try to actually bring them together in the context of marriage to foster that in such a trying time.

Lance: I have to say one of my most meaningful experiences in Washington was with the wives.

Kimberly Genau: Interesting.

Lance: And it was with Doug Co and the Cedars Fellowship and it was just being able to be in one of the condos with some of the members there. They were in the senate. I mean talking about senators, wives, and such and they have a prayer meeting. And at the prayer meeting would be this is the FBI’s wives CIA. I mean it was all state department stuff. But the women would pray and the spirit of God was there. And I said, man, if we got the women in the spirit, I have a lot more confidence about what goes on with the men in the swamp because they’re connected to their wives.

Now, another kingdom ambassador that it always impresses me is a fellow that every time I’m with him, I feel the anointing in the presence of God. His name is pastor Michael Kinsley. If we can get clear and be a trumpet sound prophetically, he believes that as pandemics and fear and chaos emerges, the truly anointed voices and oracles of God can speak in the air that will have an effect upon other people. What do you think about the voice of media today? There is a couple of men of God that I meet when we divine appointments you could say. And whenever we get together we always resonate with each other because we sense we’re hearing the Lord and those relationships are so important. Mike Kingsley is one of those people. I meet him at this kind of events where there’s,kingdom enterprise, kingdom entrepreneurs, kingdom media advancing in the 7 Mountains. So,Mike I’m glad we were able to apprehend you today and have a divine appointment for joining us.

Michael Kinsley: Thank you. I’m so glad to be here with you today.

Lance: Alright, so here we are in the middle a media event. And so, I was with Dennis Prager and Eric Metaxis and Flash Point. Tell us your thoughts on the role of media. I kind of exasperate myself so at the Media Mountain, the Media Mountain and now I realize and think,hey, maybe we ought to take a look at how powerful that is.

Michael Kinsley: One of the first answer to your question was I literally got into deep into this when we were going through COVID. For the first time in the history of media, I saw it considered mighty force when the entire world shut down. It shut down because there was a narrative of death that was put on the charts of the television screens everywhere and everybody who saw it, started to invite fear into them. And it went more fear was started to engulf people one month, two months, three months. Everybody started to bow down to fear and it took on the entire world. And I had a wakeup call to that. I said, look, because what I was looking for brother Lance was what is on our side Christian media doing to counter that. Because for them they realized that when you want society to be in disarray, you have to use an element of intimidation and fear.

That’s when I said what do we use in our time and for us to be here today at the NRB with all of these Christian networks and technology brought together in one room. The first question I ask myself, how do we use this tool at a time when technology shifting at the speed of light? We’re talking about AI, we’re talking about Chat GPT, we talk about web 2.0 or 3 that’s taking place.And all this one is set up and geared to shift society into this radical movement which is anti-God. So, I don’t take media just at the grain of sun. I take it seriously. It shapes nations. It shapesminds. It is the conversation and narratives we’re seeing today on our Christian on networks. Today every single day we see all these talking heads making sure that the narratives created where minds begin to believe even if it’s a lie and deception that’s taking place whether it’s on gun control or the vaccines and everything that’s going on. We are watching it right now.

And so, for me I believe that God has to use us. There has to be a wakeup call in how we understand the technology that is put in our hands. Why? For the first time in the history of the world we are able to reach every corner of the world. Most satellites are going up in space to make sure that every little sound of soil on the face of theirs is monitored. But what does that mean in the hands of Christians? Can we use it? For the good, for the kingdom of God, that’s right now.

Lance: This is such a powerful perspective you’re giving, because it makes me wonder given hindsight what do we wish we had said when the COVID pandemic and panic was in the atmosphere. I remember Rush Limbaugh having a doctor that called in and Rush was trying to process what was going on with COVID and all that. And the doctor said to him, he said what you’re hearing all the networks talk about isn’t the morbidity rate. What you’re hearing is the number of cases. In any viral flu. There could be the digits were going up. Now this how they use the numbers.

Speaker 2 Right.

I was like, it’s like a little ticker boo on 20 million, $20 million, 20.5, 20 and then this fear out of this idiot in England.

Michael Kinsley: Yeah.

Lance: Who was violating the very rules of being isolated. Was shacking up at his girlfriend.

Michael Kinsley: Right.

Lance: And was yet putting out this message that it’s estimated that 20 million are die in the UK alone.

Michael Kinsley: Right.

Lance: And this panic went over. I mean I’d say Jesse Walters had it. He was freaking out. Everybody’s washing their hands like compulsively like a neurosis. Now I look back and I realize it was like 1.5%, or 2%.

Michael Kinsley: 2%.

Lance: The death rate and even then how much of that was connected to the vaccine.

Michael Kinsley: Right.

Lance: Which people were getting. Because the vaccine was killing them, killing a high percentage of my friends.

Michael Kinsley: Exactly.

Lance: So, I thought I should be about but I’m realizing they’re pressuring me to get the vats.

Michael Kinsley: Exactly.

Lance: And also remember this? Ventilators. We got to remember the governor of New York. We got to get the ventilators. We need ventilators.

Michael Kinsley: Yeah.

Lance: Well 70% of people on ventilators ever got off a ventilator. No, you don’t want to be on a ventilator. That’s not the next step. It’s the oxygen mask.

Michael Kinsley: Yes.

Lance: So, what would we do differently? We should be to your point a prophetically unified counter narrative while we have the freedom to be a good really got taken in by that.

Speaker 2 Exactly. And so, one of the things that happened I called, I told you about our situation when we were going through a pandemic. 35% was going up. People were dropping dead. Village by village. And I called my dad. I said Dad what do we do when we were going through our pandemic. And he said we called the media. We called the radio. We called take everybody take Christians. And we start to get prophetic men of God to go on the airwaves. And they start to prophesy and start to pray. And when they prayed, within months the thing that was at 32 went down. I said, wait a minute. How do we get Christian media in North America to bring prophetic voices on there? Especially with this pandemic at everything, look last week there was a sporadic shoot out on. Every part of the corner of the entire United States I never saw Christian media shut down business and say you know what we’ve got to stop that voice.Because the intimidation again the spirit of terrorism when it rises in the nation it disrupts culture. It disrupts what we do even as Christians that born again. Because the enemy wants his narrative to be on the media rather than the kingdom of God and the message of the kingdom going forward.

Lance: So, Michael, what are you doing and how do people get in touch with you and your voice and what you’re up to?

Michael Kinsley: Right now, of course I share with you we have Wild Trumpet Television Network out of Dallas Texas. We brought us from there to 170 countries. One of the things the Lord has asked us in the next coming months September is to find like-minded Christian networks to unite on September the 24th to reach 3 billion people for the kingdom of God. The same thing they did on the secular platform we want to achieve it on the kingdom. We’re running Christian networks together. So far, we have 250 networks all over the world that are uniting around us. What God’s asking us, what can we do united? Not divided, not our network, not TBN, not Testa, all the other ones. And including men of God like you who have the voice in this nation to rally millions of people. The world is shifting. Something is coming. We hear it on the something is coming. What is it? How can we be prepared for this next wave?

Lance: Yeah, and I don’t want to have another, I don’t want to go through another period where we have the COVID paranoia narrative.

Michael Kinsley: We don’t need it right now.

Lance: Somebody drops the narrative on our lap and we react.

Michael Kinsley: Yes.

Lance: It’s like my gosh I feel like that was a schooling for me.

Michael Kinsley: Yes.

Lance: Not to buy in. And you know what’s interesting is my audience is so educated spiritually.

Michael Kinsley: Right.

Lance: They were asking me what about the vaccine. What about the vaccine? Now and I didn’t answer them. Because I’m realizing I didn’t take the vaccines.

Michael Kinsley: Yeah.

Lance: But I didn’t feel confident to tell them not to take it.

Michael Kinsley: Yeah.

Lance: But my discerning was cautionary.

Michael Kinsley: Yeah.

Lance: Regarding what was going on. And I didn’t have an argument for but they remember they were going out with this crazy stuff in Ivermectin and Joe Rogan.

Michael Kinsley: Yeah.

Lance: And it’s a horse pill. I mean and hydroxychloroquine which I would take as a missionary.

Michael Kinsley: Right.

Lance: And they’re making it sound like, some kind of a and I realize that my people actually have discerning. Sheep are not dumb.

Michael Kinsley: They’re not.

Lance: And they’re sensing right now. The corruption in government is out of control.

Michael Kinsley: Right.

Lance: The deception in media is irresponsibly propaganda orient.

Michael Kinsley: Yes.

Lance: They’re not covering the truth.

Michael Kinsley: Yeah.

Lance: And they’re propagating lies. We need truthful speech more than ever. So how do people get in touch with you, Michael?
