Creepy porn lawyer, Michael Avenatti, is once more in the headlines but this time he’s probably not too happy about it. The lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels along with Justice Kavanaugh’s more dubious accusers was arrested in Los Angeles last night on suspicion of domestic violence.
Gossip website, TMZ, said this followed a physical confrontation between the lawyer and an unknown woman. He denied the charge and was later released on a $50,000 bail.
On his release he gave the following statement to the press:
“First of all, I want to thank the hard-working men and women of the LAPD for their professionalism and their work. Today they had no option in light of the allegations. Secondly, I have never struck a woman, I never will strike a woman, I had been an advocate for women’s rights my entire career, and I’m going to continue to be an advocate. I am not going to be intimidated from stopping what I am doing. I am a father to two beautiful, smart daughters. I would never disrespect them by touching a woman inappropriately or striking a woman.
I am looking forward to a full investigation, at which point I am confident that I will be fully exonerated. I also want to thank everyone for their support that has reached out, you know my character, you know me as a man, and I appreciated it. Thank you.”
From the man who gleefully vowed to put Justice Kavanaugh on trial three weeks ago, this incident may have a sobering effect on him, especially since he sees himself as in for a shot at the white house in 2020. A domestic violence charge will not look good on ‘candidate’ Michael Avenatti and his future political oponents will likely gleefully beat him with it over and over, just as he has done to the President and our newest Supreme Court Justice.
