It’s time to step out of “working” and into “the work” that God has given over to you. The term, “the work” is used by Jesus in John 17:3 when he prays his last high priestly prayer and says, “Father, I have finished THE WORK that you gave me to do.”
While there were still sick that need to be healed, demons that needed to be cast out, Jesus’ “work” was to die for the sins of the world and it would be his disciples that would do “the work” of reaching nations with the gospel. Jesus was about his Fathers business… Are you?
