Is Mario Causing Division Or Fixing A Problem?

Lance: Welcome back to the Lance Wallnau Show and I know that you’ve been waiting for this one because we’re going to have a continued conversation with the wonderful center, the one of guy at the epicenter of a great controversy right now Mario Murillo. Who is discussing the nature of the move of God in America and a prophetic alignment you might say or realignment around what God is actually speaking and saying. And I know that this is going to have a huge impact on so many people because already it’s becoming a really significant conversation, Mercedes.Everybody’s talking about it. It makes sense to me that this conversation has to happen as we’re getting ready to go to Fire and Glory our next tour event, which is Mario and me in Ocala Florida and it’s going to be on March 19th, 20th and 21st. We believe that this is the catalytic moment for what God is doing in America. The awakening is already starting and we’re beginning to get our bearings, but you actually it’s an equestrian center Mercedes.

Mercedes: It’s an equestrian center, the World Equestrian Center. I’m picking your energy up here. It’s a little low here for an opening. But yeah, World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida and I got a theme verse for a I it came to me in the last show. Are you ready for it, Lance? It’s Jeremiah 12:5. It says, “If you’ve run with footmen and they’ve wearied you, then, how can you contend with horses?” So, come to Ocala, contend with horses with us at the World Equestrian Center. And hey, when would you think about also supporting? Nobody ever, you never ask for stuff like this but I’m going to ask for you and for Mario. Because I’m actually the person that has to run the numbers and I want to let you know, I crunched all the numbers after last time. It worked out with cost of that event. It worked out to $200 per salvation, because I’m a numbers person and I want to figure that out and I say, okay, well I put all this money out there. It was a lot of money to do that event. I said, but how many people came to know Christ, and you start looking at it and you go, wow. I’m like, oh my gosh, Lord for $200 that’s a salvation for $200 that’s somebody’s eternity in heaven and I couldn’t believe it.

So anyways, I’m just letting you know at the end of the day we’re still going to do this and fund it. But if you would consider partnering with us, I think you should know about that opportunity too and run with us and contend with horses with us and I think it’s going to be a powerful event. I mean, the stories that come out of these and we’re going to have to start showing them. I don’t know if we’re going to get in this episode Lance, but the miraculous healings, words of knowledge being called out, mass salvations, it is.

Lance: No, the presence of God is there and there’s a glory there. There’s a fire there and you don’t want to miss it. Let’s bring Mario in. Come on man. I want to talk to Mario. Is he, there he is? Hello, my friend.

Mario: Hello, my friend. That was a wonderful opening by the way. You stuck the landing. That was real good.

Lance: Yes, my low energy evidently opening, but it’s all that I need to keep myself alive here. Let me ask you a question. When you are dealing with moments like this. And you’ve been around and you’ve seen like I never forget the quote that you gave me once you’ve been around since the Berkeley days. The Jesus movement at its inception. Tthe whole cast of you said to me once you said you’ve seen every float in the parade that has ever been there.

Mario: Yes.

Lance: So, you’ve seen these cycles. Now for a lot of people that are new there are occasions when there is these conflicts that happen in the body that are adjustments in a sense, so that there could be a fine tuning. And if we’re all humble about it we actually raise our game to a higher level. Do you remember the charismatic controversy that went on with Bob Mumford and Derek Princeton?

Mario: Yes.

Lance: And those guys in this is unrehearsed, but what was you were in the bleach on that one too. What happened? Did that help the body or what went on?

Mario: Well, the shepherding movement got perverted into a very controlling movement where accountability which is something we need turned into an occultic control of finances of people’s lives, where suddenly churches were organized around micromanaging the lives of people. In fact, we’re at a moment where we’re bringing correction to an imbalance like that in prophetic and Katherine was to do a conference and Jamie Buckingham was a major player in this event. Katherine Khulman was going to speak at a conference of the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem. One of the speakers at that event was a leader of the shepherding movement that had gone off the rails. And she told them if you have him, I’m not coming. So there a precedent there and it influenced me. Billy Graham rebuked the television evangelist. Oral Roberts had to address universalism directly. So, celebrity in the spirit is a line of credit to be exhausted in the act of telling the truth.

Now I don’t identify at the level of those three voices that I had just described. But I can tell you this. There is a moment where you have to tell the truth or else God won’t take you to your next level of usefulness. That’s precisely what we’re trying to do is help the audience. That’s why this event in Florida is so important. Because we want to present the supernatural power of God as it flows through us to those that need to see it in a biblical manner, in a manner that honors the local church, keeps the focus on Christ as the hero and we don’t move into any excesses or spurious extremes that would undermine faith. We want to see America revived. That’s our passion.

Lance: Exactly, and to your point the thing that I said in the last broadcast is when I went to the Lord and said to the Lord, everyone’s coming to me and asking me, do you think Ron DeSantis is going to run? Do you think Trump’s going to get back in? I mean, it’s a constant thing. And I think I probably helped create some of that problem because I’m associated with previous elections and introducing Trump as a Cyrus candidate which was accurate in its time. I went to the Lord and I said, well, what’s going to happen Lord and then you’re not talking to me about this. Everybody seems to be asking and there’s a lot of prophets prophesying. I want to hear from you. The Lord said to me through the scriptures where Jesus told Peter, if I want John to be alive when I come, what business is that of yours? You follow me.

Well, it was his business. They were best friends. They were apostolic partners. They were part a sacred eleven remaining apostles of the lamb. They were both probably due from martyrdom, surely, he could be curious about his prophetic destiny. And Jesus says, even someone as close as your best friend. What I want to do with him is my business not yours, you follow me and here’s what the Lord told me. What I do with Donald Trump is none of your business, you follow me. It was like a rebuke. It’s like the Lord said, rather than coming to me and acting like you have some kind of a privileged access to information about electoral politics. I’m going to tell you what I believe he’s telling others if they’ll hear it.

What God is going to do regarding certain destinies in the White House is not your business. It’s up to him and them to work out. You’ve got your own, when we stand before Jesus at the judgement seat, he’s not going to say, “how can we let the Democrats get in office”? He’s going to be holding you accountable for the souls you could want and the influence you could have had. The first century church I guarantee without the internet. Did not have daily updates on what was going on with Nero in Rome.

Mario: No.

Lance: And so, we don’t need that but you would get daily updates from the Holy Spirit on what you’re called to do and your local ecclesia would be so alive with the supernatural that if someone comes in among you the prophetic would be revealing the secrets of their heart not the secrets of the next election cycle. So, I think there is an adjustment that has to happen here. And I think that you’ve in a sense forced the subject.

Mario: Yes sir. It certainly did. And the firestorm that it created is very interesting because 97% of the comments at our site were positive and supportive. And one of the most common comments was why didn’t someone address this before? Why did it have to go to this extreme before we dealt with it? And so, I’m gratified by that. But that does not diminish the fact that our passion is to restore the proper biblical place of the prophetic. It seems like people don’t understand why does the devil focus on a supernatural gift in order to abuse it. He does so because he knows its role in the next revival. So, in advance, he’s going to discredit it. We went through that with tongues. We went through that with healing and now we’re going through it with the prophetic and deliverance by the way. Because our association to casting out of devils is also running rampant in a way that needs to be brought to scriptural order. But the passion has got to be restore the gift, restore the gift, release the gift, get rid of the counterfeit, but let’s restore the real because that’s where the power is and that’s what Paul was saying in first Corinthians 14.

Lance: So, let’s deal with one of the, let’s drill down because I only want to do this in 1 or 2programs because you and I have so much else we got to deal with. I don’t want this to become our new defining issue. But the reality is there are those that’ll say, they’re so addicted to superficial unity. That nobody wants to bring and the reason why stuff has gotten to this point is because of this feeling of not wanting to rock the boat and have division. As though one of the lines that you and I always hear is, stand with the prophets. Like you’re not standing with the word of God with God or with faith if you’re not in an agreement with what a number of prophets are all saying together.

So, it really comes down to the fact that Mario, you are causing disunity in the body of Christ. That’s the accusation. You’re causing disunity and I want you to address that quickly and I’m going to share this quote, which I think is answers the polemic for you and I got it yesterday. But when you get accused of like, well, why you’re causing disunity. How do you work that out in your head and say, no, actually I’m doing what has to be to have unity?

Mario: Yes, in fact, the division is what I’m addressing. This is dividing the body of Christ. I’m not doing it, they’re doing it. In an NFL game, it’s often the guy who threw the second punch that gets flagged by the referee and what people aren’t noticing is that if a prophet looks at you and says, never doubt my word. They’ve already violated the word of God because they said, Prophesy one, twice, three times at the most and let those who observe, judge. Any prophet that says his words or her words cannot be judged is already run afoul of the word of God. Now, where’s the division coming from? Them, they are dividing people from the Bible because they’re saying I want to give you a daily Christian horoscope and you don’t need the Bible as much and so people are away from the word. That’s a terrible division. Instead of rightly dividing the word of God, they have divided people against the word of God.

Secondly, they’re being divided from accountability to a righteous pastor. No, no, no, I’m not in this local church anymore. I’m following this prophet. I’m following him. There’s no accountability. There’s no roots. And the problem is, there’s usually a husband or a wife that’s not even concerned about what it’s going to do to their children. If they’re suddenly ripped from a responsible local body and then now traversing the country following an individual instead of putting down roots and growing in God. No, I’m not causing the division. I’m exposing it and leading in direction to how we bring healing and unity. Unity with the spirit, unity with the Bible and unity among those that are credible leaders that love God. Instead of these wild west rogue characters that answer to no one. That’s what I’m doing.

Mercedes: I want to jump in too because I do think that that is a huge part is that there really is no corporate oversight. And really one of the things, I think that plagues the Protestant Church is that well, if you don’t like it, I’m just going to go start a new church. I’m going to start a new belief system and alright, see ya.

Lance: And the internet becomes a virtual cathedral.

Mercedes: It does. It absolutely does.

Lance: I’ve got a virtual cathedral every time I meet. You remind me of that. Hey, you got like 30,000 people. What are you complaining about? Someone have a million.

Mercedes: I know like answers like we only got thirty thousand views on the Facebook broadcast. I’m like, that’s a mega church. That’s the size of a mega church but now I forgot what I was doing.

Lance: Yeah, but there’s no authority and accountability in that structure, which is why I have you Mario. I hang out with guys like you. I’ve always had a pension for picking friends that would follow God and get me into the fights that they were in. So, this is just how it goes. I’m with you. Join at the hip and like I said, no matter what you do, I’m numbered with the transgressors. Where you go, I go. We’re partners. So, I’m digging in on this thing and saying,well, he’s got a point and we might I might as well come out and say here’s the quote that I used to defend now what we’re into. Which is, hey, we have to bring this up because it’s hurting the movement.

Mercedes: Yeah.

Lance: 100 years ago, there’s a man by the name of Gresham Machen and John Lempiere a friend of mine sent this to me today, business guy. t’s 100 years ago he said it is often said that,the divided condition of Christendom is an evil and so it is. Division is evil, but the evil consistain the existence of the error that is causing the division and not at all in those that recognize the error and are trying to correct it. The evil of the division exist not in the ones who are pointing it out and bringing it up, but in the error itself that is causing the division. And the error that I see that we need to be even more specific, because I don’t like the criticism of people over style. If somebody wants to dress a certain way or look a certain way, to me it’s not the appropriate argument to say, well, look at what they look like. I could care less what somebody looks like.God will sometimes disguise himself in a package you’re going to judge. I’m interested in something else.

The test of the prophet when Jeremiah was being rejected in Israel he says, Lord, they’re not let’s to me. They’re rejecting what I’m saying. Thus says the Lord of hosts. He had to prophesy. Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you. They’re leading you into futility. They’re speaking a vision of their own imagination. It’s not coming from the mouth of the Lord. They keep saying to those who despise me. The Lord said, you’re going to have peace. Everyone who walks in the way of his stubborn own heart. Don’t worry about it. No calamities coming to you. Now here’s the key. If they had stood in my council, the Lord said, talk about the prophets.

Mario: Yeah.

Lance: If they really heard what I was saying, they would have announced my words to my people and would have turned them back from their own evil way and from the evil of their own deeds. In other words, there’s an element of the John the Baptist. His message wasn’t wink–wink. You watch how God deals with those Pharisees. We’re going to come out on top in the end. It was repent to the people that were out to hear him. They’re his audience. They’re the people that like him and he’s saying, you guys better clean up your act because the Lord‘s coming and he’s not too happy about what it looks like right now in Israel. My job is to clear a path for the move of God. In other words, there should be more conviction, more quickening of the conscience, more instead of doubling down on us versus them. I’ve seen this in a political discourse and I try to catch myself when I go there.

Mario: Right.

Lance: Because we can’t hate the other side. We can’t, and I’ve seen this happen where God‘s going to do this. He’s going to expose that and Satan and everybody with him is, got toremember these actually are living souls you’re responsible for. Few of them, a few of them maybe are sold out to do evil. Maybe they’re practicing Satanist. The vast majority are going to be shocked when they go into eternity and realize that they have business to do with Jesus and missed it. Because the church was too busy vilifying them to have a broken heart to intercede for them. I think the problem with the prophetic is it’s not producing the disposition God wants in his church, which should be brokenhearted for America and brokenhearted for those that are under the deception of the devil.

Mario: Amen. And I cannot agree more that the problem is if your favorite prophet is not calling for national repentance, is not identifying within the church the need of the issues and controversies that God has with his people. Then they’ve singularly cannot be identified as a prophet not in my estimation. I truly believe the first words that came out of the Christian movement when Christ came was the word repent and believe the gospel. Repent and believe the gospel. When the diet is a consistent and unending version of, you’re going to be blessed, you’re going to be promoted, you’re going to get this, you’re entitled to this. This isn’t going to happen this is and you need to know that.

So, this entitlement that he comes out of their mouth is not prophetic. Because if it was, it would say, the Lord is calling us to intimacy with him, the Lord is calling us to remember the things he’s told us already. What we must repent of is having left the word, having left true accountability and transparency. David Wilkerson said, that’s why he was such a profound hero of mine, because you couldn’t listen to him without sensing the broken heart of God. I don’t feel that in these voices today. I feel entitlement. I feel braggadocio. I feel fantasies and trivialization of sacred and holy things. That’s why we need to beware and yes, they are living souls and we need to pray for them and ask God to have mercy on them. But we also need to remember the sheep, because the sheep are the most vulnerable of all. Paul said, there’s wolves coming and people say, well Mario, why didn’t you go and privately address these false prophets?

Well, let me tell you, Jesus didn’t privately address the Pharisees. He didn’t have a private conversation with the money changers in the temple before he drove them out. In Acts 20 when Paul said, “Beware of wolves”. Let me tell you, the shepherd doesn’t sit and negotiate with the wolf. The minute that the wolf is identified, the shepherd attacks it to get it a from the sheep. Spiritually, it’s the same thing and we can’t treat this as a light subject. It’s a deeply disturbing moment in the church that has to be addressed and corrected and it has to be done with the love of God as Lance has said.

Lance: Yeah, and I’m trying not to be too specific because I want to really deal with the principles here and not the personalities involved. But when you have like statements that have been made like we’re just going to sit back and get your popcorn and watch what happens. You see that’s again if they stood in my council.

Mario: Right.

Lance: Then my people would have repented. Meaning we the audience wouldn’t be sitting back like we’re watching some kind of a game show and where our side’s going to win. We actually would recognize that we’re active participants in the drama. That we are responsible for what’s happening. And I a big guy on reformation. I think that there’s plenty of stuff the church ought to be doing, because the reason why we’re in the condition we’re in is we don’t know how to occupy till he comes. We tend to withdraw and disengage and the internet becomes even further disengagement. But you ought to be involved with the school board and the local election. You ought to find out who the Christians are that are running

America right now is what reform is happening Mario is happening because 20 courageous make America great again. Christian’s half of them are Christian, pushed through to leadership positions that are holding McCarthy’s feet to the fire so that he got rid of shipped and he got rid of Swalwell on the intelligence committee. He’s doing certain things that have to be done for reform in America at an institutional level and so it’s the occupation is what I’m saying. We should all look at our vocation as though God is calling us to use our job, our work, our skills, and talents to be a firewall in America to address the madness, to join hands with other believers and say thus far but no further. Our children are not going to be proselytized and perverted by doctrines that are coming to the school system, and the answer isn’t always to pull your kids out. It’s another form of Christian selfishness. It’s like, well, we homeschool our children. Well, that’s great. How about your unenlightened he the neighbors who don’t know any better, whose kids are getting proselytized, who may end up going through chemical castration because they know the Bible.

We have to actually go into the system and I think that’s part of what this movement is Mario. It’s a reviving of the body of Christ. It’s a convicting of us for the work we need to be doing and it’s kind of an acceleration of us into the engagement of the supernatural. We long for the supernatural and in these meetings that you’re having and that I’m having, the supernatural’s coming down. I think we had around 100 people get filled with the Holy Ghost on the last day and life them were the preachers. It was amazing. They had altar calls for ministries too. You’re seeing thousands getting saved from all classes of society. We always focus on the down and out,but the truth is we have the up and out that are also getting saved and the testimonies are that right now, God is breaking in an America. If we can adjust our disposition to get an alignment with the heart of heaven, heaven is invading Earth right now and I think that’s what the burden of you is a prophetic evangelist. Amen?

Mario: Amen. And where we are? People want to know, well, where’s America? What moment are we in? Well, here we are. We’re on Mount Carmel and here’s the prophet of God, Elijah saying, how long will you live between two opinions? America needs a demonstration. All those times you and I have been together on hundreds of shows together, episodes of a show. We’ve called out Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, we’ve called out Barack Obama, all of them. But all the while lurking in my spirit was this. Ultimately, it will be God and revival that will save America.It’ll be a moral reformation, because it’s only the moral that will take people and realize the reason, I’m got gender dysphoria is I’m not right with God. The reason I’m addicted to drugs I’m not right with God, I’m not right with God. And the idea that we as a nation are not right with God is what drove Elijah to Mount Carmel to say we need to demonstrate to you all let he who is God answer by fire.

So, when you and I met in Dallas at your home and I said we need to team up Lance, you and I and we need to do meetings together, and then use our influence and our common unity to stage an event that is like what Elijah did on Mount Carmel. To expose the false, demonstrate the real and have the fire of God fall and bring us back to what early Pentecost was, what the Welsh revival was, what the real move of God was. When people’s appetites were purified and he wouldn’t be going after these high carbohydrate candy fake stuff if they were in the real glory.Whatever Isaiah saw in Isaiah 6, the glory filled the temple. That’s what we need. You mentioned the Restoration Latter Rain Movement. That’s what they were contending for. They were saying the presence of God itself will become the tool for the lost to come in and it will create disciples. It’ll bring us to the true results that we’re after. That’s why we’re doing this thing in Ocala. That’s why we’re united in it.

I’m seeing the miracles of God in our tent. We’re buying now a 5000-seat tent because we’ve outgrown everything else. And we have to use it for all the souls that want to be saved. But even an evangelistic crusade is limited. What we need is to take the conservatives who rally to Trump. And the spirit filled community to come under that outpouring of the spirit like Azusa Street. And then it’ll be the fire that will run across America. God is going to do it by his power.

Lance: I believe it and I know what Mara is talking about folks, but you don’t know fully. He just blended two octanes together like nitro and glycerin. It’s going to be explosive because if you just have revival, you can have revival. It’s hard to do, but you can have glorious tent meetings and Christians will come out for revival. But when you want to go into the arena of the political and you want to go for the low-hanging fruit of all those Trump-loving and DeSantis-loving conservative lovers of America and the flag that don’t know Jesus and you bring them out and you mix the two together, they’re going to call us Christian nationals. Every religious spirit is going to go nuts which is probably why it’s good right now to go ahead and address the prophetic because this is what God is saying to America. He’s giving a fresh voice and I invite all the prophets that are out listen to this.

We’re not writing anybody off. We’re not we’re deliberately trying to be polite about what we’re saying because we want the unity of the body. If you’ve got the prophetic call then here’s the word of the Lord to you. Preach the word. Titus and Silas and we’re with Paul and the Bible says,“And them being prophets exhorted the people”. Didn’t say they prophesied a whole sermon. Stop with the one hour long prophetic discourses that are your constant Prophecies for an hour. Nobody’s, it’s not even scriptural. We have 66 books we barely understand and the average Christian never reads. Preach the word. The Lord start rebuking me lately, Mario. He told, I said, ‘Lord, I’m doing 9 million downloads with media analysis with a prophetic perspective.’ The Lord said, ‘Preach the word and then you got on my case.’ He said, ‘If you bring the whiteboard out, you’ll break it then you apologize.’ But that was the Lord. I’m in a tent meeting. I can’t use a whiteboard. I can’t use a podcast desk I have to preach.

I got more revelation having to get ready in the tent. I got more nervous about here. Look at that. This is my notes from the last tent meeting. This is me seeking God because I can’t fall back on what’s going on out there. I have to hear from heaven and I’m saying to the prophets, preach the word. Stop, don’t let the people redefine what you do like a prophetic gumball machine. They put the coin in. They want to get and you know what drives me nuts Mario, and I already went a minute over in our time here. But it’s the people that come up to asking for prayer. I don’t know if you ever have this happen now. They come up asking for prayer and then they put the microphone under your mouth, because what they really mean is prophesy over me and they’re lying. They’re coming up and saying, pray for me and then they hit record and I go, why are you recording this? Well, in the case the Lord gives you something.

What they really, people are like, people are getting and it’s like they’re getting addicted. It’s like a high-sugar diet. Look, man, let the word of the Lord be preach God is a prophetic voice daily. He’ll talk to you. But he may not be talking about the latest Q-conspiracy, what’s going on at Mar–a–Lago or what’s going to happen in the next election. Because frankly it’s not in your assignment. Your assignment when that time comes is to know how to vote and what to do. Right now, you’ve got business to do. Our job is to equip you for the work of the ministry. Not to make sure that Trump gets in his act together. God‘s got an assignment to get you to get your act together. Final thoughts Mario. We’re going to remember this.
