Is History Repeating Itself?

for me today. I was literally standing on the back one moment and moved to the front in the next.
CUBA CRISIS
Now we need to look soberly at the cycle of history that may repeat is upon us. The actors are Cuba, Russia and a man in the Oval Office who is perceived as weak by the Kremlin. Last time this happened we had the Cuban middle crisis and almost walked into a nuclear confrontation.
BIDEN
They cried “Russia Russia” when there was no Russia problem. They bent all their powers to bring down Trump and return to the weak America policies of the past. Now they have a real Russia problem to deal with and the Media is once again incompetent to see the cycle of history we are stepping into. They downplayed the weak performance Joe gave when he met with Putin. The fact that he showed him a list of targets NOT to touch was shocking. The clear message is, “please don’t mess with these particular areas but as for what’s not on the list? Well, we can live with that.”
How will this play out in Cuba? If history teaches us anything, it is that “a people who don’t know their history, are doomed to repeat it.” It’s a quote JFK was fond of.
Let’s hope we don’t see a repeat of history in Cuba.
