Episode Transcript

Lance: Hey, this is Lance Wallnau Live at Mike Lindell’s super cool Moment of Truth Summit. We have had so many interesting people that we have met and interviewed from. I’ve got Hayes and I have Hank Kunaman, Jean Bailey, Mike Lindell, Steve Bannon. But there’s somewhat very special who’s here and I looked at her and I said, you know what? I’d like to get to know this lady a little better and find out what she does for a living. It’s my wife. So, I have Annabelle. I just scooped her up and put her down on the platform and I want you to be able to meet with her. She’s got Furnishing Families of Texas and it’s a ministry which is transforming lives and changing lives, one family at a time. Furnishing Families of Texas, meet my wife, Annabelle Wallnau.

Annabelle, we’re covering live now the symposium or the summit.

Annabelle: It’s amazing.

Lance: Moment of truth summit.

Annabelle: It’s crazy.

Lance: We’ve had a lot of powerful presentations. People have been paying attention. So just go data on and it’s just so overwhelming in the sense of like I just looked at Harris County. I was on my way over here to talk to Jenna Ellis to an interview and guys up there with Harris County. The information says that all of the down ballots, which means all the Republicans running like won by like 85% of the vote and the top which was Trump lost and it was given to Biden. It’s such a weird anomaly. This is Texas and we know that that in Harris County is in effect. But then they go back in and they start looking at other factors such as phantom voters. They find that like I was talking to the guy about Florida of all places going throughout Florida.

They came up with 1/3rd of the voters when they went and knocked on the door where they were curious about where it looked like the numbers were weird. They found 1/3rd of the voters, phantom voters meaning people were dead who were voting, didn’t exist who are voting, people that names were there that weren’t on the list or the person that was, in other words the person supposedly was there that’s there Gretchen whatever doesn’t even live there. So, if that’s a 3rd of voters in those certain counties, you wonder what percentage of votes are actually. I just think,I’m saying it for what it’s worth. I’m convinced the Democrats take so seriously the ground game and how they’ve been able to. I mean all of America’s major cities are Democrat run.

There’s a reason why. They really know how to work the angles, the precincts. All the different ways in which you can game the system or out and out steal a vote or manipulate it and the Republicans are just like goobers. They’re always like linked to the party out of touch and it’s,but we’re finally there. We’re finally catching up. We’re finally caught up and it’s people like this.I mean it’s like it’s the beautiful story about the committed patriot populist movement. So, many of them are Christians that is showed up and they’re just not going to let America go down. That’s why I believe God is going to fight for the sake of his people. There’s a great verse and I want to talk to you obviously my dear.

Annabelle: But it’s the mighty remnant, Lance.

Lance: It’s a mighty remnant and Jesus said, “Fear not little flock”.

Annabelle: There you go.

Lance: For it is your father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. That fear not little flock word, is important because if we so we’re up against we’d see it is a Goliath and it’s bigger than us but David was a different kind of sheep. He was a killer sheep and he could wield a slingshot and god’s going to give us the slingshot strategies to win in our states and in our cities and he’s not going to give the nation over wholesale to this darkness. He’s going to push back draw a line.

Annabelle: For Goliath’s death and his 4 brothers. 5 smooth stones.

Lance: 5 smooth stones.

Annabelle: Bam.

Lance: That’s right. So, what have you been doing here? I’ve noticed you’ve been going around, but if I know you with in his where were you next door?

Annabelle: Hey, I don’t know. I’ve been just mingling.

Lance: You’re mingle but you’re doing different podcast, but then of course the Christian podcasters and you’re talking them about the ministry you’re doing.

Annabelle: They’re asking so I’m telling them.

Lance: Alright.

Annabelle: Yeah. Because you know what? They’re all also through an outreach you know so they wanted to know what we’re doing. Talking the microphone. Come a little closer. So, I was just sharing about furnishing families of Texas, which is going to be called Furnishing Families International. We just got the name but right now, we’re only based in Texas.

Lance: Alright. So, but you’re fighting a different battle. You’re fighting the battle of what?

Annabelle: Survival, food, shelter, and clothing. It’s the first ring on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.

Lance: I thought in America all that stuff’s taken care of.

Annabelle: Everybody thinks somebody’s taking care of it, but there’s a lot of single moms out there with children that don’t have anything. They lot of times don’t even have a place to live. So, when we meet them, most of the time, they just got out of a shelter or out of homelessness into an empty apartment so they don’t have any furnishing yet.

Lance: Well, what does the government do? I mean, most people think the government takes care of that. After all, they have a bloated budget.

Annabelle: I don’t really know what they do but I don’t work with the government. I work with churches. So, I work with people that are partners with Lance Wallnau Ministries and furnishing families. So, I’d say the church is taking up a lot more of the burden of fulfilling the great commission. I think Jesus told us to do this stuff and so now we’re actually getting to do.

Lance: And my point is that we all work under the assumption that the government does this or that. But the girls, the moms that you’re working with, everything that’s available they take hold of but guess what? We’re the ones who are helping them out staying in an apartment when they don’t have work. They get kicked out too. They don’t do right.

Annabelle: Well, the real truth is if they have food stamps and they only make, if they make $1,200 a month, they get much less food stamps. Who can live?

Lance: Think about it. It is so screwed up. So, if you’re working your butt off and you’re making like 300 a week.

Annabelle: Yeah, or maybe 400 a week or 400.

Lance: But you’re taking home like 280, but then you’re breaking the rules because now you have $1200. So, you don’t get the food stamp you’d be better off not working.

Annabelle: Well, that’s what they’re trying to prove to everyone but I feel like people are better when they work. And the moms feel better about themselves when they can actually find something they’re good at and do it. A lot of moms they spend a lot of their time with their children, but then their children go to school and they need to also have a way to contribute for their own growth. I think it’s just amazing to have the front row seats now working this close with so many people to see stuff I never would have imagined. Even if I read about it.

Lance: Such as.

Annabelle: Such as going into a home and the children are against the wall with their shirt over their knees and sleeping that way and they do that every night. You go in there and you’re like

Lance: Now why are they sleeping on the floor with a shirt over their knees?

Annabelle: They don’t have any beds.

Lance: Because they don’t tip over that way.

Annabelle: Right, because if they’re leaning against the wall and they fall asleep that way they’re going to stay there. They won’t fall over and wake up. But they’re used to it and I’m just saying it’s the United States of America. These zip codes are 30 minutes from our home and that’s why we wanted to plant the garden so close, so we could go all the time, drive down drive back, drive. I didn’t want to fly to another country to serve the poor.

Lance: So, in other words, you’re putting mattresses and beds in the houses where children are sleeping on the floor and don’t have a bed and it’s right in proximity to where you live and you don’t know it and the government isn’t giving them beds.

Annabelle: Well, see you keep bringing up the government. I mean, you really think this is their job?

Lance: No, I’m bringing it up because most people assume that government agencies are the safety net, and so many Christians don’t get you’re doing. Because they assume that there’s all that welfare and there’s all those government programs and there’s all that.

Annabelle: But they’re poverty stricken. I mean the programs are poverty. I mean even if a mom gets on a program with a half price rent for a year, they have to deal with that 12-month cycle, they’re going to get evicted. They’re not going to be able to pay that rent.

Lance: So, that’s why I’m surprising you with my line of questioning, but my audience is like me. We’re saying, it’s nice that you’re doing this Annabelle but really there’s the government is care of that but the government isn’t. So, Annabelle frequently tells me how outrage she is,because she’s almost ready to become like an activist on behalf of the poor. Because the government hates all this money and it takes these people’s votes too, but it doesn’t do anything for them.

Annabelle: It’s the worst thing for the poor people because they can’t get ahead and then if they.

Lance: It condemns them to poverty to use them as a demographic to stay in power. It’s a sick thing.

Annabelle: I know, but the thing just saying is I just talked to some people about, they just bought a thousand acres in the DFW Metroplex and they’re going to build affordable housing. There is no such thing as affordable housing and anybody who is paying just think if you are paying $1,600 last year it’s probably $2,200. That’s how much the jump is. So, my girls pay 550 on that half price, that half price deal for rent and their electric bill just triple. So, their electric bill is $600. How are they going to be able to pay that?

Lance: How are they going to be able to pay that.

Annabelle: That is a crazy situation we’re having in our house.

Lance: How’s the food? I hear food shortages are coming. They were telling him.

Annabelle: They’re already here and I’m not trying to be the bearer of shock, but the truth to the matter is that even we set a truck yesterday to pick up 3 pallets of supposed to be soup and canned food. We get there in 3 hours they wait and it’s not going to be that at all. It’s going to be frozen food and then we can’t wait anymore because we also have other my guys got home at midnight. I just talked to them. I didn’t even know they were out that late as it sound like they’re going to be delayed till at least 9 and then they just told me on the phone before we shoot.

Lance: Well, listen. Some people.

Annabelle: It’s complicated.

Lance: It’s complicated. Well, we talk to people let me know, this is getting into the weeds here and stuff and I want to make this a little bit more broad spectrum for the audience out there. When are we going to get all your stuff out of our house? Because our house is now the staging ground for your ministry. It has been, we’ve got 7 warehouses and we still have things in our house. What’s happening in our house?

Annabelle: 7 warehouses that’s good because I know of 5.

Lance: Oh 5. Okay, five.

Annabelle: Well, you know what? The thing I’m just going to say is we just put down two at our house and when you put on a floor, you take every single thing out of the room and the room.

Lance: Well, talk about the clothing ministry.

Annabelle: No, I just want to say. Okay. So, we just put in a clothing ministry at the Collegiate Academy which is a premier high school of Keller ISD and that is got a crisis center that has actually the top counselor, guidance counselor in the Crisis Center. So, sorry it’s really loud out here. I’m not used to this. So, the guidance counselor is over 20 Keller ISD High Schools. My is that they gave us a 10 x 14 closet and we put in racks alpha closets from the container store and so we actually got a 23 x 25-foot closet upstairs. So, all those clothes in our media room will be there.

Lance: I’ve got a whole high school clothing ministry in my house.

Annabelle: No, but here’s why guys I don’t know if anyone of you have handled second hand clothes. They have to be in climate control. You can’t put them in, my warehouse goes up to 104 degrees that’s why my new warehouse have HVAC because it gets hot where we work.

Lance: We are, and you guys we’re going to pray. That Annabelle can mention us. They’re working in 100+-degree weather service.

Annabelle: We have swamp coolers though that cool us down a little bit. 95.

Lance: How can people support this because you give to the poor and you lend to the Lord and the lord will repay you. It’s the only promise in the Bible which guarantees god’s intervention and return on investment and it’s when you give to the poor. You’re lending to Jesus. And Jesus says, you know what? I’ll take care of it.

Annabelle: It’s so exciting.

Lance: So, I’m believing gods got some stuff for you.

Annabelle: Well, the thing is, you don’t think about it like that. Lance keeps bringing up that scripture and that’s such a good promise. But it’s kind of reframes your brain, right. Because who thinks like that when you give to God. He owns everything anyway. We’re just starting it.

Lance: That’s true.

Annabelle: It’s very exciting. So, if you come to, you can either say FurnishingFamiliesofTexas.com and you’ll be at our website or you could just take the FFOtexas.com because I know it’s long. Lance: Alright, folks and honey, stop pounding the table. You’re pounding it with your hand.

Annabelle: You’re making me so happy.

Lance: No, you’re pounding the table. Alright, I love you guys. We love you. We’re praying for you. Let’s stay connected and we’ll be back with this powerful summit. When it’s over.

Annabelle: Hi, I’m Annabelle Walnau, founder of Furnishing Families of Texas. We are the outreach arm of Lance Wallnau Ministries and the whole thing began because of a water problem in my house that we had to give away a bedroom set. When we get offered to give it to the Center for Transforming Lives and we offered to give it to one of the moms. She said, ‘Can you get me a twin bed for my 7-year-old? He never slept on a bed in his life and they slept on a couch, on the floor, in an air mattress, in the car but not on a mattress. So, my friend Wanda with me. She said, ‘Not on my watch. So, she bought the first twin bed. Now, we bought over 250 twin beds.

Lance: Hey, my name is Lance and this is my wife Jamie Lynn and we’re here today at the Furnishing Families of Texas Outreach in Fort Worth. We actually went out at the beginning of the event to neighboring communities and try to get the word out about the event at the same time we were knocking on doors, giving food out as well.

Jamie: This is totally the gospel. This is going into the world making disciples of nations. It’s handing people clothes, food. It’s what is your need? We want to help provide it.

Sharon Richardson: Hi, my name is Sharon Richardson and I volunteer for furnishing families. I’m here today serving in the prayer tent and we’ve been praying for people and actually the very first person that came in the tent today, we just felt the Holy Spirit fall. I mean, the thickness and the presence of God was so thick. I mean, we were just had goosebumps up and down our arms and then just within the last, 30 minutes, we had a young mom, 17 years of old age, newborn baby and she accepted Jesus into her heart. So, we are celebrating everything that god’s doing today. It’s this is the day the Lord has made. Let us be glad and rejoice in it.

Lance Wallnau: Hi, I’m Lance Wallnau and Annabelle, my wife is actually the visionary behind this. Furnishing Families in Texas started with her realization. There were single moms that did not have furniture. Children didn’t have beds. They didn’t have kitchen tables and she was looking at what to do in other countries and realize she could do something right here in her own backyard and all of this is like surprising people with the goodness of God. Surprising. Last week, a family had their house burnt down just recently. All their belongings and all of a sudden, Annabelle finds out about it. Having to have an estate sale picks up this furniture. It’s like an upgrade. People come home to the apartment. It’s completely furnished better than even the last place.

That is the kind of work that the kingdom of God is all about. It’s like healing. It’s a form in a sense of manifesting the abundance of heaven on earth. That’s what Furnishing Families is all about.
