How to bounce back after a negative (Nashville) news cycle and stay strong!

Lance: Well, it’s been a while since I talked to you. We went and did the Ocala Conference. I had 6,000 registered for 4-to-5,000 a night, which was extraordinary. There was a presence that layered. Catch the hand motions there. Layered. Meeting after meeting, and it just got stronger and stronger. I had about 1000 people saved, about 800 people filled with the spirit, and my favorite moment was a lady came up with evidently just got held the night before came because I was doing a call for the honey people want to get baptized in the holy ghost, good Pentecostal altar call. And I hadn’t even reached the altar call going; she was walking up. I said, “What are you doing”? She said, “I’m coming up.” I said, “Oh, you want to get filled with the spirit and perceive a language, a prayer language, and pray in tongues.” She goes, “Honey; I don’t even know how to pray in English.” And that’s the harvest you want to find, honey. I don’t even know how to pray in English. She was so hungry; she just came forward, and that’s my kind of crowd. 

Well, we’re going to be going. Now, get this. Looks like the Broadmoor is the next place in Colorado. Oh, that’s right. Gonna be the Broadmoor Hotel, the historic Broadmoor Hotel. Now, you say when is that, Lance, and I’m looking over my calendar. It will be like the 15th, 16th, and 17th of July. Lance: Just doing a facial. I was trying to keep her. Just to know, this is my family’s, but do you think you’re raised unusually like your dad’s doing broadcast while you’re doing facials?

Joy: Yeah, it’s a little weird.

Lance: Little bit weird. It’s a little eccentric. Honey, can you shut the door? Did you get to join us in Colorado?

Joy: Yes, I’ll be there.

Lance: Okay, now I can loosen up. She was sitting behind me over here having a facial, how girls are doing a little facial thing. I said, “Honey, I have to do a broadcast.” She goes, “Go ahead.” My children have been raised in an unusual world. Anyway, what I wanted to tell you is this. I watched Romero Pena or was doing the Waco. Not Waco. Waco Texas meeting with Donald Trump and he got an opening prayer and all that. Well, anyway, he says, he’s getting a lot of hate mail. It’s too bad. Hate mail. Weird. Trump is such a divisive character for no good reason other than the fact that the devil hates when you live in a fallen world. It’s kind of tough, man. It’s tough. But sometimes good prevails over evil. The Civil War was won by the good guys in the end. Took them a while, but they eventually won. The same thing happened with Hitler.

We’re praying America can come through this thing. We don’t know. We never know quite when the end is. We all seem to think; I’ve discovered that as people get older, they’re all convinced the world is ending. I guess, I mean, maybe we’re ending, and we just think the world is because we are, but perhaps the world will go a little further. Do you know what I mean? And so, the United States is a severe challenge. But man, when I think about Elon Musk, I think it’s Jordan Peterson. I’ve prayed for these guys for years. These are like the pre-Christian influencers. We got our preachers, but our preachers are facing Joel Osteen and even Dutch me; we’re talking Flashpoint; we’re talking to ourselves. But over there, the people we want to reach that don’t listen to us, strangely enough, are listening to Elon Musk. They’re listening to Bill Maher. They’re listening to Joe Rogan. They’re listening to Jordan Peterson. And man, look at how those guys have just gone from being on the left to the middle to the middle to the right and the worst that the world gets.

I looked at a meme from what might have been Sam Sorbo. We have to go look it up. Powerful. It has like the last four mass shooters. The first one was multiple genders. The previous three were all transgender, and it’s just like messes with your head. I’m telling you there is a reason why there are such high suicidal rates among transgenders. Not because they’re bullied in school, it’s because they’re bullying themselves because they think they’re in the wrong body. Imagine if every day wakes up with blue eyes; you think your eyes should be green or brown. I got the bad eyes. Somehow, I got the wrong eyes. Every time I look in the mirror, I see the wrong eyes. Every time you look in the mirror, you see a female trapped in a male body. You see a man trapped in a female body. It’s tragic, but I mean, that’s going to produce disassociated disorder, obviously, and then you’re going to be medicated and taking drugs to become like the opposite sex, get your breast removed, your genitals, cast chemically, castrated, start pumping yourself to the hormones and testosterone or whatever. It’s sad when you think about it.

So, it makes sense that this is a very tormented type of spiritual phenomenon. So, when you see a shooting incident raised by Christian parents going to a Christian church, this is pure like hell on wheels and a kid tragic. And here’s what I want to say. I had to do Flashpoint tonight, and it was a weird experience for me in this program tonight because I was feeling pretty okay. After all, you think about this. I remember I was with John Dawson from Youth with a Mission once, and it was an exciting experience. He said Youth with a Mission got to the point where it was so big that every day, they had stories of tragedies and stories of miracles and breakthroughs. He says, so imagine what you’re balancing out. On the one hand, you’re getting a breakthrough story. It’s worth celebrating and praising God for, but then you just ask some missionary maybe has been rest, so you have great anxiety about that.

There’s enough bad news in the world at any point in time so that if you choose to be sensitive and empathetic, you could be perpetually miserable and distressed. Do you ever think about this? How does a Christian function? If ever, I could just go through with digital information now. I get news so fast, so quickly. I could be depressed here and globally; I’ve got global anxiety. I could be upset about what’s going on in Ukraine regarding child trafficking. Then, I get the Christian news, but the martyrs in Nigeria. I mean, it’s just worse and worse. When’s it going to end? Well, where would the joy be? I’m talking about Bible, believing Bible stuff. The disciples were filled with joy with the Holy Ghost. The right, Kingdom of God is not meet and dream, but rights are peace and joy, and Jesus was baptized with the spirit of joy above his brethren, for he loved righteousness and hated laws.

So, Jesus had plenty to be miserable about every day. He knew more than anybody else did about what the devil was doing. But he chose that he had this resourcefulness. This resilience, this you are the light of the world, you are the salt of the earth he was fear not for I have overcome. He had an overcoming disposition even amid total awareness of all evil. So, my point to John Dawson was, how do you live with this? He said he reached a point where he couldn’t be up because he heard the breakthrough, and then was sad when he heard the bad news. Because they had such a significant ministry. It was up and down all day long. So, he chose this kind of interesting perspective. Choose to rejoice with them that rejoice and weep with them that week. Think about this. This means I can enter fully and sympathetically with the idea of a parent losing a child in a Christian school and its injustice, chaos, and madness. Without the grace of God, how would you ever recover from a wound like that?

I mean, it’s like having your leg taken off, but sorry, you’ll have to limp and have a prosthetic; it will take a while for you to compensate. But there is an idea of the miracle, power of God, the grace, the invisible enablement of God that we pray into that situation. And then we’re weeping with them, but all of a sudden, boom, there’s a baby just got born, healing that just happened. So, just got saved; hey, I just got delivered from this accident. God deliver me; there’s rejoice with them that rejoice. You have to be able to pull out and then pull in, or you could say you have to learn how to stay in a place of joy and then visit the burden of a fallen world. Release your agreement, your prayer, your compassion, your empathy touch and be touched by the pain of what is there, and then withdraw back into the place of strength and peace with the seal of joy. Because ultimately, all this pain is transient, it’s temporary, it’s not permanent, and you’re ultimately designed for eternity, and that after his time of testing which is but a vapor.

It seems like it’s short, right? Really? When you think of life, it is very short. It looks long when you’re in it, but then you realize, as my dad would always say, Lance, you have no idea how quickly time passes. Here I am in my 60s. I’m thinking of my dad used to always say Lance time even though he’s gone. Time, my friend. Moves so fast. Your life is but a vapor. So, therefore, it’s transient. It’s very temporal, but so much of eternity matters at this moment. I talked to a friend of mine, Charlie Lewis. He is a great apostle and businessman, and I want to see him do something with small businesses. Building a network of small businesses. He primarily because of the shutdowns, the lockdowns, and he’s got a couple of big companies, but he cares about the small businessman.

He lost a 14-year-old grandson and an ATV accident. I think it was a sudden thing. The kid was just a splendid Christian, a beautiful young man. Then life has gone like that. And he touched so many lives. Many people got saved as a result of his brief life. But it drove him to start to work on a book called, I guess he has a word for it, but it has to do with like eternal, you have the gift of eternal life right now. That means eternity is already part of you, but it’s entering into the eternalizing, I think he called it. The eternalizing of every moment. You don’t live from here moving forward on an ambiguous clock on a calendar. You move from eternity facing Jesus and the eons of life to return to the present. You go into the future and read life backward. What ultimately matters is when you’re in front of Jesus. What ultimately matters is what your account to. What ultimately matters is what you’ve done. That has meaning at the throne when you give an account of your life, and it could be a temporal thing.

Paying someone’s rent and fixing the baking of the meal is because it touches the eternal. After all, it was by the grace of him who lives in eternity for his glory and is obedient to him. So, in a sense, it has been good work that lets that carry on to that moment when you account for it. I’m trying to say that by eternalizing our life, we escape the tyranny of living stuck in this period of time, and it’s a short period. Even when its long life is but a vapor, we can always be victorious because my experience on the Flashpoint was the whole show was like for an hour revisiting the trauma of what happened in the school and then the injustice of it. Then it’s like when I watch Steve Bannon’s Warroom. He always says it drives us crazy because he does the cold open; he calls it. But it’s two or three minutes of Morning Joe or some blathering fool.

And listen these people do have demons and the demons are talking through their wiggling lips, and you got to hear that that chick up there at the White House sit there and spin lies constantly. This shooting incident concerns a confused trans kid who is pathetic and sad that they’re supporting them and thinking they’re another sex. And instead of thinking about deliverance or healing or something that can help people. She goes on and says this is all about Republicans and gun violence. It’s the Republican’s fault. You just get so mad, then the Lord spoke to me and said, “They know not what manner of spirit they are of.” Jesus rebuked his disciples in Luke. “You don’t know what manner of spirit you are.” The Lord said to me, more and more, you’re going to find your spirit provoked because demons are talking through people. The demons are speaking through humans’ wiggling lips. It’s demons talking, and it’s going to zing, zing. It’s about being triggered. Forget about the trigger warnings of the left. They’re just vulnerable to life and reality and things they don’t like

In your case, they are slapped in the face by demons. Oh, blah blah blah blah, and so you got to be aware of it that spirits are talking to you. Well, once you know it’s a spirit, it changes. If you’re in deliverance, I remember one time I had a friend tell me. He said that they had these demons coming out in this church. I went out to go check it out. Demons were coming out in that guy’s church. I’ll tell you what, you walk into that church. If you had demons, you’re manifesting them, and I saw these people on the floor, and they were cussing. They were like, hey, you’re blanking, blank, blank, blank, they’d be quiet, and another person is I’m cussing. Says, I said to him, “Are you concerned that these young people, these young people in the church, are getting exposed to all this?” He said, “No. You know why? Because at least now they know where the cussing is coming from”.

See, that foul language and hatred stuff when you see it coming out in a deliverance when you see that anger spirit, that hatred spirit, that cursing spirit, that lusting spirit. When you see the demons come out, you know what manifests when you see the rage, the anger, and the cursing. It was demons talking through people. That is an interesting theory of the case. Don’t you think? So, we covered some ground tonight, but I want you to catch that I was the frustrated flash point because the whole hour, I had to marinate on and here to listen to the news spots and go back and visit. But it was helpful, but all this stuff’s redemptive. I mean, I do this show because I feel like it’s essential to be a voice for people that are looking for perspective. Even though I speak a little bit, it’s perspective and will help somebody. It’s a way; what else will I do on Tuesday night from 7 to 8? That’s going to be as effective as that.

But what I want you to hear is this. When it was over, I felt like the Lord said, I was saying I feel more down and up. I should be enlightened. I certainly can’t be edifying others if I’m feeling slimy, and the Lord said, “I want you to begin to build resilience in your spirit like a Teflon spirit. You can be touched by what’s going on in the world. You can be moved by what you abuse was moved with compassion. You can release your prayer, compassion, and connection with the suffering people, but do not stay in the place of the bad report or the need or the misery of the pain”. This is what produces a loss of joy, what produces depression, what produces fatigue, what produces weariness, is when you’re empathetic, sympathetic, and being touched by the things that bother you than the stuff that’s injustice gets you angry then your anger or your hurt. You have to be able to recoil quickly, and here’s the verse for it. There’s like boom. There is the verse.

“Rejoice within the rejoice and weep within the weep.” You could do both at the same hour. But your natural recoil is like Gumby. Do you ever see Gumby, gummy, or ben Gummy? Boom. It still comes back bent gummy or Boop. Keep bending Gumby over Boop; it gets pumped up; you are supposed to be Gumby in the spirit. And when you go into the pain, when you go into the compassion, when you go into the suffering, when you go into the darkness, you come back out boom righteousness which is a pure flow of, there’s something so free when there’s no condemnation, no accusation working in you on you or through you. Righteousness, peace, that equanimity, that tranquility, a sense of ease, that calmness of spirit, and joy which is an energy of positive energy.

I want you to think of peace like a surface of water and when an awesome terrible thing happens, kaboom a rock, a giant boulder goes in, splash. There’s a big wave, always proportionate to the reality of what’s happening, not making a wave out of a pebble, but when a wave hits, guess what? After the wave hits, it comes back to glass. Now he took a rock. Boom. Splash, little ripple. Back to glass. Pebble, little rings back to drink. I want you to picture your natural state. Gumby is the glass serenity, and you respond accurately; if it’s an immense tragedy or splash, you feel it. But you come back after the ripples back to stillness. Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted in the earth and among the nations. Be still and enter into the stillness of God, but it’s a stillness with tranquility to it. Not a stillness of lifelessness and deafness like an arctic winter, but the stillness of a pond with no ripples. But the bug lands on the little circle that comes around the bug. Because your spirit responds proportionately. And what you have with wokeness, what you have with fragility, what you have with racism, anxiety is every little pebble of offense, a look, a gesture, a micro gesture boom is treated like a boulder just went into your little.

The problem isn’t the stone, my friend; the problem is your disproportionate and constant reaction to things happening around you. Let the peace of God come on you. Jesus said the peace I give unto you; not as the world gives do I give. The world gives it and takes it away. I’m giving it to you; it’s yours, keep it. Don’t let go of it. By this peace, you will crush the serpent’s head. So, I learned something tonight at the Flashpoint. It’s one hour, unlike one depressing subject. And I had to listen to all kinds of Biden bumbling and everybody else. By the time it was done, it’s like the Lord said what your recovery time is? They’re Gumby. Got to takes 2 hours to get back. My spirit, the Lord said, I was ready in the car to get you back in the joy again. It took you an hour to get there. Frankly, it took me an hour and eggplant Parmesan. Eggplant Parmesan ministers my spirit. Annabelle gets me my eggplant Parmesan. I shouldn’t even eat eggplant Parmesan this late at night. But anyway, it’s comfort food.

You know what, ladies; you know what I’m talking about. Comfort food. I felt better. I’ve had my eggplant Parmesan. Talk to Annabelle. Talk to Joy. Change the subject and then kind of like but the Lord said to me, “The peace I give unto you.” I’m giving you the ability to have that Gumby spirit where you can boom, come back into the place where you get empathetically touched by the infirmities of others. But don’t be disproportionately touched, and don’t let your spirit be rippling, rippling, splash, and splash much. After the things are done, that’s your carnal soul, your undisciplined focus, your natural mind, and your focus on the affairs of this life. You do not have that eternal perspective of where your eternal grace is, where your eternal position is. Behind the veil, you have an anchor. Boom, it’s right up with the throne of grace. Pull on that anchor; go up there before the throne of grace.

And by the way, final thought. Grace does not mean only cutting me some slack; God’s merciful. Grace is not mercy. Grace is a steady current of divine enablement. Grace is like plugging in a boom to the outlet and having electricity flow. Grace is a steady current of divine enablement. Why do I say that? The apostle Paul said it was God’s grace that did these things with me. It was a steady flow of divine enablement. It wasn’t God’s mercy and undeserved favor but a current of God’s power. Why do I say that grace is a current of God’s power, and we often think of grace as cutting some slack? It’s because Jesus was full of grace and truth, and Jesus never sinned. So, he never needed God to cut him slack and give him mercy.

So, you see, we the word grace misunderstood. It’s steady of divine power because your position in Christ is one of undeserved access through him deserving the glory. Or you could say unearned by you, access through his well-deserved victory. So, he’s won a fight for you, and then he says to step into the grace. I’ve paid a huge price to get this victory for you. Spend every dollar I got for you. Don’t leave anything on the table when you die. Spend it all. Spend all that currency of divine enablement and provision I’ve given you. That’s why I’m glad we went from Ocala. Last weekend to the Broadmoor coming up next. And I’m looking at these events. It’s going to get bigger and bigger. Why? Because we’re mobilizing. Yes, we are. I’m telling my enemies this. They’re far already writing this stuff. They watch what they spy on me, like the Pharisees that sit to watch Jesus to see if they can catch him in something he says or if he heals on the Sabbath.

I put it out there, but we will be organizing at every rally. We’re going to be calling people for altar calls for salvation. The altar calls for being filled with the spirit, and the altar calls for civic engagement. You got a job to do. Education mountains are going to change. The political mountains are going to change. The business mountain’s going to change. The media mountain of lies is going to come down. You, mountains, are coming down under the authority of Christ with shouts of grace. Grace. God’s divine power and enablement, not by power but by God’s divine enablement, boom. You’re coming down, and Christ will come up and be exalted. Christ is coming up and being exalted. Does that make sense to you tonight?

We’re going to go to those places, and I’m going to pray for God to give us a special revelation in every location, and we’re going to pray from the Middle East, from Israel.

Lord, when Donald Trump was in Waco, Texas. I want to say one thing, and we will sign off. I meant to say one thing earlier, but I got caught up with my friend Romero’s persecutions. Pastor Romero. But I noticed something. I noticed when Trump was picking on DeSantis. The crowd wasn’t cheering like when he picked on all the other evils he goes after. I want to say something.

I’m praying that Donald Trump recognizes that although his motives of operandi are to hammer, hammer, hammer until he’s knocked his competition back. That’s just listening; he’s won all these years by being like a patent. He’s a tank commander. He’s taken out what he perceives to be his competition, his enemies. He’s a boxer in the ring. Those guys aren’t hugging each other till after the fight. After the fight, boom, they’re hugging each other. Oh, that was a great fight until then, but they’re staring at each other; they’re in each other’s faces, right?

Like Trump, you may not like that disposition because you’re one of those loving. You got that love and feeling. Oh, that love. So, you want to see everything happen to kind of meltdown, and everybody loves each other, and Jesus is groovy. Well, it doesn’t work that way. You got the apostle Paul had a lot of conflicts. By the way, Jesus had a lot of conflicts. People wanted to kill Jesus, and then he went, even agitated. People want to kill him, and he does it on purpose. So, Jesus raises leaders like this; that is not your cup of tea. But like my friend Ken Eldridge says, look at the fruit, not the bark. You don’t like the way the tree looks; you don’t like the bark. Forget the tree; forget the bark. What’s the fruit? The fruit is God raises heroes of faith, the people that will be there. Because of the warfare you’re in, they deal with your enemies.

Anyway, Trump was picking on to say this, and I noticed the crowd wasn’t applauding and laughing. Do you know why? He needs to learn. I think he’s getting the feedback that you have to with DeSantis another way. We don’t want; we like Ron. We’re not like the left. We don’t capriciously hate people because they’re not with us. That’s Carnal; that’s sinful. We are four people, and we’re for Ron DeSantis. It just happens to be that we believe that old fighter there, that man in the arena, still has another four years in there. If we get him in the past, he could deliver the electoral gridlock of 5-swing states and the dominated precincts, which will talk about something else. If Trump can get in, he’s only got 48 months. He’s not trying to be mister popularity. He’s not trying to run for a second term. He’ll be dangerous. Bam. He’s still a lion, and he’s still got a, and he’s got a global relationship.

The left doesn’t get it. Putin respects him. She respects him. Nuclear Korea, North Korea respects him. They sat across the table with him. They know America’s nutty. It’s like Germany. Germany knew Patton was a general. They couldn’t figure in and understand why we retired him. Why for a slapping incident? We took him out of the war. They can figure that out. Why our enemies can figure out what America’s doing with Trump, except we’re decadent stupid, or corrupt, and probably they’re not too far from the truth. But I’m saying that Trump can’t pick on DeSantis; he needs to say something different he needs to say I like, Ron, I don’t want to damage him, I don’t want to, yeah, he has a bit sanctimonious, it’s true. Everybody has their thing, but I like him. He’s got a future in the United States. He’s not me, though. I will go and do what must be done for four years. I’ll let them work on destroying me. I’ll do what he can never do in four years. And when I’m done, you guys need to get behind Ron and give him 8. It’ll take 16 years to fix the mess these guys have created for the survival of your children and grandchildren.

I will give my life and then 48 months in the office. They’ll hit me with everything they got. But when they’re done, and I’ve wasted every one of their bullets. I’ll take out every one of their tanks, then Ron can come on in. And maybe he’ll be like Solomon and have peace. I’m going to be like even. I’ve got warfare. If Donald Trump gave that speech, wouldn’t you like it? Give me some hearts if you like them. Come on, give me some hearts if you like. I’m going to put my finger over here. Give me some of them hearts. If you think he needs to say, listen, DeSantis, that would be a great follow-up. I’m the man who has got to go in and fight. Give me some hearts if you think I’m telling the truth. I think that argument works. Come on. Come on. Come on. There you go. There you go. Give me some hearts. Give me some hearts. Give me some. There we go. There we go. So, this is what I want you to catch. Or do I have to go over here? Is this where I was? Oh, here I got to go. There we go. Oh, now it’s even better. There we go.

Now, he needs to know anyway; he should know that the crowd doesn’t like him when he beats up on DeSantis because we won’t go there. By the way, I wish the glorious Lord Jesus that all the never Trumpers out there don’t listen to my broadcast anyway. But you know who they are. The people are always, instead of building the guy up and praying for him, putting them down. I wish man DeSantis was, oh don’t you, I know I got Trump fatigue, oh I got Trump fatigue. Oh, shut up.
