How Israel Reveals God’s Prophetic Timeline | Level 10 Living

Lance: It’s always good to get together with you especially. Because what we’re going to talk about today is the era we’re living in and what the Bible teaches about tribulation overcoming and accomplishing what God‘s called you to do. So, in many ways your life, once you get saved once you become a Christian, the most important question for you isn’t anything other than did you do what the father called you to do. Did you accomplish the assignment you have. It’s in John chapter 17 around verse 3, Jesus is in his final moments. He’s praying. He says, “Father, I finished the work you gave me to do. I’ve glorified you on the Earth”. 

The way that you glorify God as you finish the assignment. All of the teaching really that is done by preachers and teachers and prophets shouldn’t be to titulate you on current event to predict what’s going to happen next in politics or in economics. That really is kind of like a prostitution of the prophetic. The real purpose of the prophetic is to help you know what you’re called to do and have a context for how to get it done in your life. You’re not accountable for who’s in office and who’s not in office. You’re accountable for what you do with the call of God. That’s kind of important, so we don’t get sucked into the vortex of a whole lot of other stuff.

Now having said that, want you to go to chapter 21 in the Gospel of Luke. Because this talks about the blood moons, the eclipses, the cosmic shaking and all kinds of signs in the heavens that God himself is orchestrating to talk to his people. I’ll prove it to you right here in chapter 21 of the gospel of Luke Jesus says, ‘there will be signs verse 21, in the sun and in the moon. And then what would be a classic moon sun sign? Well, an eclipse would be one and they only happen at certain kind of like cosmic clockwork moments we just had one. Where if you think about it, the moon is 400 times smaller than the sun. But God is so situated the earth in the solar system that the sun and the moon actually are perfectly sized to each other. So, that that little moon and that four-time larger sun when they overlap, they perfectly encircle each other.

Astronomers say it really is phenomenal that it’s not a big sun and a little moon or it’s the moon is larger than the sun because of proximity but they perfectly match. The Bible says that you should look for God saying something in these various dimensions. And we talked last week about something which I thought was kind of is a new discovery for me that the moon is most frequently feminine in the Bible. Meaning that it’s associated most frequently with the church and with the journey of the people of God on the earth. The stars refer to all the way back to Genesis, the children of Abraham or the children that are the believers in the great constellation of heaven. And then the sun refers to the great masculine imagery of God himself moving and it’s the timing of the calendar for the Gentile nations of the earth.

So, each of these dimensions speaks to a certain audience as the heavens are orchestrating their activity. Jesus says again, ‘There will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars and on the Earth, what is the characteristic of those signs, distress of nations.’ Now, that’s a pretty wild thought that the activity up there refers to what’s going on down here and it refers to distress of nations. And with perplexity. The sea and the waves roaring. So, we would expect that there’s going to be also these fluctuations like tidal waves and disruptions and things like that. And then it talks about men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things that are coming upon the earth. But the reason for this and this is so fascinating because the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Well, what powers of the heavens we talking about? Now, we’re talking a cosmology. This is talking about principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places that they’re being shaken. So, when you hear all these words about, I’m going to shake everything that can be shaken. Now we know what’s being shaken. Hell is getting shaken. Satan is getting shaken. And as Satan is shaking his thrones, his power, his position is underconstant siege as Jesus is returning to Earth as heaven is once again reclaiming the mandate to govern the affairs of men, you see the shaking of the heavens. I don’t know if you guys have thought about this, but earth, a lot of the theologians believe that God actually gave man not ownership of the earth but stewardship. That God put Adam and Eve in the garden with an agenda for Earth, but that the ownership is actually belonging to him.

When you rent a car. I go to the airport I went to New Jersey; you go rent a car and at the end of the rental period what do you do you return the car back to the person that owns it. So, they call it the earth lease. A period of time that God had for man and the story of man and redemption on earth. And at the lease as it comes as the leases up, as the vehicle is returned back to its rightful owner, Satan stole the vehicle Jesus came and took it back. And then in history as God comes back to retake the vehicle, shaking is happening because hell is freaking out because the owners coming back to take over the planet. That’s what we call the second coming.

God returning Jesus triumphant and the earth being brought back under the dominion. The lease is up and there’s a certain number of thousands of years the earth lease is there for man and then the owner comes back and takes the planet. That’s exactly why you see the powers being shaken. And then Jesus goes on to say, ‘And then will the son of man be becoming seen coming in a cloud with power and great glory.’ Now, when these things begin, catch when this starts. When the shaking begins, your job is to look up and lift up your heads because your redemption draws nigh. Now this open up to me in a really remarkable way as we were writing the last book.Because I was for the first-time realizing verse 23, the significance of Israel. Everybody talks about Israel Christians are always fascinated with Israel I always want to support Israel.

And it’s an instinct but it’s based on a biblical reality that Israel becomes the centerpiece of the great cosmic lease. Because that’s only piece of real estate if you think about it that God said that piece of land belongs to me and I’m giving it to my people. So, that’s why Israel’s in the middle of all news cycles. Why is it that it’s constantly the Middle East and Jerusalem, the Arabs the Palestinians? Why is it that this is going to become increasingly the centerpiece of history? Is because it’s the only little sliver of land the size of New Jersey. Where God said, that piece of real estate Is the foothold out of which the whole globe is going to come back under my control. That’s why Satan, imagine his thinking. He wiped out Israel. He disperses the people of Israel all over the Earth. He literally said, that little piece of real estate is where God says, that’s his, I’ll make sure that it’s not his and he’ll never get a foothold.

So, the Jews are dispersed all over the world and then in this phenomenon that I didn’t appreciate until I read Chuck Missler describing it. That the 2000 years a people scattered all over the world suddenly come back to the land that they had. Imagine how the devil’s going what, and they’re coming back in and they have the same language. They never lost the Hebrew language. They were in Poland. They were in Russia. They were in England. They were in South America. And as they return, Ashkenazi Jews which would be the European version and the Sephardic Jews which would be the Africa dispersed version. They’re come back to their land. They have the same language. They have the same customs. They have the same tradition. They hold to the same Torah and they’re teaching the Old Testament just as they did when they got kicked out.

It’s what Misster says, it’s one of the greatest miracles of history that people could come back to land. Nowhere else do you see people in history. This history moves on and it’s like well it’s not like the Native Americans in the United States, like well history moved on. So, there’s a lot of battles about what to the Native Americans. The fact is in Israel, God put the natives back in and they took possession of it with their language, their religion, their customs and their position right there freaking the devil out. Because God‘s back, the real estate’s back with them. That’s why so the key was Jerusalem. That’s why Trump is so interesting. As Trump comes along and says, ‘I think that not only are they back in the land but the capital of those Jews is Jerusalem.’

The another freak out for the devil because now you’re establishing governmental ownership of the territory. Yes, it’s all here.

Mercedes: I want you to talk about for one second just why this is a miracle, because I don’t know if everybody understands the actual history of the Jewish people. So, when you’re saying they were returned 2000 years, like people may not understand the history. And not only did they return, this is actually the second time in history they were dispersed from the land and then brought back.

Lance: Yeah, the everything he’s can to get these people out of that real estate. So, the first time was of course Cyrus, which is why the name comes back with Trump in a curious way. Because Cyrus was the Gentile ruler that took over Babylon after the Jews were dispersed in captivity.The land was really occupied by Babylon. The Lord raised up a Gentile leader a Persian, who took over Babylon and in reading the prophecies of Isaiah about Cyrus coming to power. I mean it’s pretty clear that the Dead Sea scrolls make it clear that this stuff is prophesied hundreds of years before Cyrus emerged as a political theory.

He read it. He said, my God, you Jews have something. Go build your temple and pray for me and it’s kind of a superstitious ruler. Didn’t say he was a God, God. He didn’t say he was a converted Jew. He was a Gentile. He said, go back to your land and rebuild your temple and pray for me, because you guys are dialed in on something. So, boom, the Jews go back into the land occupied by enemies and they start tentatively this is the whole story of the verse that says, ‘I will shake heaven and earth shows up in the prophet Haggai.’ When they return back and he says God shaken he’s starting to shake things up again and the Jews came back built their temple. Then when Nehemiah they built the walls around Jerusalem and they became a sovereign power again.

Screwed it up when Jesus came. They rejected their Messiah; they rejected their ruler. The judgement them dispersed for the second time in history. Rome comes. They’re slaves dispersed. Rome comes in re parcels the land out because the Jews rebelled against Rome and under Titus,they circled Jerusalem and annihilated the city. And once again the Jews are for 2000 years. They were all over the places as Hitler rose up in Germany exterminating the Jews. That’s what fed a movement Zionism which is where certain Jews got together funded by American Jews and they said we’ve got to have a land we can go to. There was no place safe for Jews no nation was protecting them. We have to go back to our land and so they went back just as a immigrantreally. And then in 1948, they went, they established themselves and took possession of their land all the Arab nations went to war with them. And they figured they going to wipe them out, because these Jews had no army, they had no military. And unfortunately, the British who controlled the territory said it’s illegal for you to have weapons.

So, they had to sneak the weapons in. They had to create their own weapons. They had to hide their weapons. Because the moment they declared we are Israel we’re a nation, boom all the Arabs came in and said like heck you are and they went to war with them. And the Jews in a and what you could say is a military miracle, they defeated seven Arab nations with their armies.And said, no we’re going to stay here. If you don’t mind, we got no place else to go. Truman to his credit recognized them as a nation and so the UN had to go vote on it. Guatemala the country,strangely enough Russia even said yeah okay. And Israel became a nation.

So, the story of the Jews having that little piece of real estate is you got to understand why it is historically so significant. It’s the down payment on the whole planet coming back to the ownership of the king of Jews and so that’s why that little real estate so powerful. I’m sharing that with you now because verse 24 Jesus said, the Jews are going to, imagine how strange this is for Jesus to say this because right now the Jews are back in their land. Cyrus is done, they’re return,they got, they have Rome controlling them but they are their own nation and Rome works with them like a vessel state. They’re not interested in wiping them out, they’re a client. But Jesus says, here’s what’s going to happen. There’s going to be great distress in Jerusalem is going to be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

In fact, the Jews are going to fall by the edge of the sword and be led away captive to all the nations. You can imagine what this sounded like to them. I mean, the disciples have a problem because they’re thinking Jesus is going to be the Messiah. How could he possibly be prophesying that they’re all going to lose? How could they lose with him? So, a lot of the stuff didn’t make any sense to them. But Jesus is telling them what’s going, they couldn’t figure it out. They didn’t know Jesus was going to be rejected. So, this is when Jesus talks about the coming of the son of man and then he says, now when these things begin to happen look up and lift up your heads because your redemption draws night. And then he says something else which is kind of fascinating. The emblem of nations, you have different nations.

If I was to say the bear, you think of Russia. The dragon, you think of China. The eagle, you think of the United States. These symbols are also in scripture and they speak prophetically of nations. The fig tree for some has always been the symbol of the nation of Israel. So, the fig tree starts to blossom. The figs were the common fruit and plant in Palestine. So, Jesus says this, ‘Look at the fig tree and all the trees. Look at the fig tree and look at all the trees.’ He’s giving a prophetic picture as to what to look for when these things will happen. ‘For when they are already budding, you see and know for yourself the summer is now near.’

So, he’s talking about when is the shaking going to happen? When will this cosmic shaking of nations take it? When will the Gentile era come to an end? And God will begin to move everything back to Jerusalem and the conflict of nations will be around the Middle East. Jesus said, ‘Who look at the fig tree and all the trees when they are already budding, you see and know for yourself that summer is now near. So, you also when you see these things happening know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place heaven. And earth will pass away but my words will not.’

Well, you better you know it it’s pretty freaky when Jesus is saying this is the when it’s going to happen. You can see why people are so intent on this being the end times. Because in 1948 they came back to their land. And Jesus said, oh when the fig tree starts, well the fig tree would be Israel. When Israel starts to blossom as a nation 1948. That’s the sign that the generation is there. But then he adds something interesting. You see the word all the trees? I heard Derek Prince. He was a mentor of mine. Cambridge scholar, brilliant teacher and one of the first scholars that actually taught about the casting out of devils. And this Cambridge scholar had a deliverance ministry and he lended a certain kind of a credibility to the whole idea of healing, miracles, and casting out of demons and he had a ministry cast out demons.

So, for me, it was very appealing because I grew up in an academic household with a dad who’s a lawyer, engineer, and not a believer. I didn’t know about our Jewish background then either and I took consolation from the fact that this man who was a Cambridge scholar who knew the Greek and Latin language, could read the New Testament in its original language was not a Christian.Became one during the Second World War. Reading the Bible, he felt challenged because he was an agnostic. He was a student of history. And he felt like it was not scholarly of him to reject the Bible having never read it. But being a scholar, he chose not to read it in English but read it in Greek. So, he takes the New Testament and he said, ‘And I had the strange experience that as I was reading the Word of God, the Word of God was reading me.’

He said, it started bothering him that what he was reading was actually measuring him. And he said, ‘Indeed he had an encounter with God that convinced him that the Bible is true and that Jesus is who he claimed to be and he was born again.’ So, Derek Prince began his journey and during the Second World War as a Christian. He prayed. He was praying he was part of the British core. I think he was in the medical core and he said, ‘I was praying for Palestine and for Israel.’ Because that’s where he was positioned with the British. He said, and they were being beaten badly by Ramel. Ramel was just wiping them out. And he said, and I took the man at the prayer and I prayed that God would give us victory. He said, that was the first time he heard the lord speak. The lord said, ‘Do not pray that I give you victory. Pray that I give you leaders such as is consistent with my glory to give you victory.’

And he realized that the leaders of the British army were selfish. They were undisciplined and that they would be defeated so God raised up the right leaders. So, he started fasting and praying that God would raise up leaders such that he would have the desire to give them victory. And he said, he can remember the moment when Montgomery was sent. They had a general Churchill had sent a general down there who crashed in a plane crash. And they were all horrified, because he was a World War one veteran tank commander and they thought he would surely win.Churchill scrambled and he went with the son of an Anglican pastor who was a rather pretentious but confident military figure by the name of Montgomery.

So, when Montgomery arrived Prince says, he’s listening to the radio. Montgomery arrived and the first thing that he does is he commands all the officers to come into his tent. And he says,‘Last thing I’m going to say is we will besiege the God of battles to grant us victory. And he opens with an Anglican prayer that the God of battles would give to the British God‘s grace to win.’ And at that moment the spirit landed on princess said, I heard your prayer. And from that moment Montgomery said, ‘The officers instead of eating fast will eat last you will model servanthood to your men and discipline.’ And Montgomery was tenacious as a commander on having military discipline and this business of cursing and taking the law’s name in vain will stop immediately. And he put discipline and it sends rigor into it. He was eccentric but he was the guy that gave Churchill his victories.

So, I studied Prince when I became a believer and as I read him, I took great interest in his teaching on this chapter and here’s what Derek Prince said. He said, you must notice that look at the fig tree and all the trees. In 1948 Israel became a nation a democracy. And all the trees refers to all the nation states that budded. Now if you go back in history and you look back to 1940 till now, you’ll see 70 nations that became new nation states since World War two. From Singapore to South Africa to South Korea and they are democracies. Meaning the gospel is preached,churches were established and we have an era of 70 nations rising up with Israel. And so, what you see is when Israel rises other trees rise also and new nations were formed.

So, for the last 70 or 80 years we’ve been in the era of democracy in the post-World War two era dominating the earth until the great Gentile nation, the United States has started to flounder and with our collapse with our demise. You’re seeing the new world order rising which is a world order which is post democracy. Now you’re seeing this is why you hear about the WHO. This all ties together. Why you hear about, why you’re worried about the sovereignty of the United States being lost? Because we’re seeing a shift now and it’s becoming a beast system, an empire system of global commerce global government global medical control. And it’s the era of democracy beginning weaken and the era of empire which will become a global system beginning to emerge. But all the trees refers to the other nations that came with Israel.

Why am I taking time to say this? Because when these things begin to happen, you’re to do two things. Know that you’re in the generation when history is beginning to come towards rapid closure and shaking will increase. Also know this that your command when they begin to happen in verse 28 is to look up. Lift up heads redemption draws near. And this is the research we have in our book that redemption draws near in the Greek is an interesting word. It doesn’t mean draws near just on a calendar like is this the generation where Jesus returns is this the time. And we don’t know the day and the hour but we know now the season is when Israel’s back as a nation, that’s when you start to look at these things.

But Jesus uses the word that, lift up your heads for your redemption draws night. And if you look this up and this is where Bible tools are really useful. The term for draws nigh refers to geographic proximity. Which means when Jesus drew nigh under Bethany when Jesus drew nigh under Jerusalem. It literally refers to the geographic approach of Jesus to a geography. And that’s why I’m saying heaven is invading Earth. Jesus is drawing near. And as Jesus draws near, shaking is happening violently in the heavenlies because Satan doesn’t want the kingdom of Godto come. So, he pitches his battle to stop it. That’s why you’re going to see the global governance shifting the beast system shifting.

It’s Satan’s way of trying to consolidate a failed resistance against Jesus coming back and it’s played out nations as nations are rising and falling. That’s why sheep nations are so important to me, because sheep nations are like Israel. They are the beds of resistance. They are the ultimate it’s like the empire strikes we are the actual sanctified rebellion. We’re resisting Satan’s agenda and praying for the kingdom to come.

Mercedes: I would say Lance also because it can sound a little like intense. But when you’re talking about not only is the new world order rising, I believe the church is going to rise in the midst of that. That when you say the heaven’s invading, I hear the kingdom is coming. I hear heaven is closer than it’s ever been that there’s thinner places in the earth right now when we go and we minister signs and wonders. It’s like the veil is getting thinner and thinner and thinner.So, as the supernatural begins to manifest as the demonic begins to manifest, I think the things of God are going to manifest even fuller. I was interesting though the comment about the fig trees and all the trees. I haven’t necessarily heard that, but I do think if you think about nations, I mean, even since the time in the upper room when all the languages were spoken. Since then, we’ve seen almost all the land in the entire world allocated to countries.

Unless it’s a country falling or being subsumed by some sort of other like Russia, invading Ukraine. The boundaries of nations have really been defined. I think all nations that could be on this Earth are here now unless they’re going to be subsumed or broken up, right?

Lance: Right.

Mercedes: Every piece of lands been allocated. So, when you think about that when you talk about the trees and all the other trees, I was like, hmm that’s I could see that. That seems valid. As you’re talking, I’m filtering it through my brain. I’m like, yeah.

Lance: Oh yeah and so I suppose I don’t want to make this dystopian. I just want to say that there’s a reason why history is shaking. There’s a reason why nations are redefining and there’s a reason why Israel becoming a nation in 1948 is indeed what Jesus said would be the catalytic signature that something is changing in terms of him drawing back to Earth. He leases up. He’s returning.

Mercedes: And I mean, you even said this earlier in light of just the evil that is within society now. I mean, you’d reference that in the last days and in the times of Noah, what would you say it was Violence.

Lance: And we’re of course we’re dealing with all kinds of this broadcast could be seen any year now, any day or any month. But you’ll see in the news cycle, whenever you watch this. There’ll be incidents of outbreaks, of lawlessness, of rioting, of violence, of shootings, etcetera. And that’s because as the Lord returns, you’re going to be seeing more and more of the evil that is that demonic activity on the earth because demons are manifesting. And lawlessness sorry to say in culture creates a breeding ground for anarchy and for lawlessness to manifest. So, Satan is coming down and because he’s coming down there’s an increase in demonic activity. But here again let’s go to your point. What’s happening in the church while this is happening?

Well technically if heaven is closer to earth than it’s ever been then if you are dialed in, Jesus said look up this is important. We too often and in the news cycle and in the media cycle and prophetic is particularly vulnerable here. We look at but we’re supposed to look up. You’re not supposed to be looking at what’s happening and then trying to be like the mystery cue analyzer. You’re supposed to be looking up at what heaven is doing and seeing heaven behind the activity of earth. It’s a different wisdom perspective, because I’m looking at what God is doing and I’m seeing that everything’s happening exactly according to plan. That produces a certain amount of confidence because it’s not like, oh my gosh, what’s going on? Oh, this is exactly what.

So, if the enemy does what you thought he was going to do, it gives you confidence that you got the right blueprint. What is God doing? He’s building a glorious church. Heaven is closer to Earth than ever before. Therefore, there’s more holy spirit on Earth in terms of availability for manifestation. That’s why awakening and revival is such an exciting idea because that means that God is going to be breaking out because Satan’s coming down. There’s more opportunity for the kingdom to go forth. So, to your point, go to Ephesians and take a look at what the Bible says happens in the church while the siege of hell is going on while earth is being reclaimed. What’s happening in the nations is distressed but what’s happening in you? Peace. Jesus said, ‘See that you be not troubled when these things begin to happen.’ See that you be not troubled. Carl, find that verse for me. See that you’d be not troubled.

Carl: Is it in Ephesians?

Lance: No, it’s in the gospel, Jesus speaking.

Carl: Okay.

Lance: So, Jesus says, see that you be not troubled because he wants you to know what’s happening and say, now look, I’m telling you what’s going to go on in history. But it’s not so you get freaky and so that you have peace of mind because I told you this stuff before it happened. Trust me, I got a plan.

Carl: It’s Matthew 24:6.

Lance: Matthew 24:6. So, Mercedes read to us Matthew 24:5 and 6.

Mercedes: Looking to Ephesians. Hold on.

Carl: It’s almost as if there’s a benefit to using a laptop. Oh my goodness. You guys missed this right before we hit play. But yeah.

Lance: Now we’ll go to Ephesians in a second. I’m going to go to the good news in a second.

Mercedes: Is that what you’re wanting?

Lance: So, go ahead and read Matthew 24 start with verse 4. What does Jesus say about the last days? He’s saying, ‘Hey bad stuff’s happening, but for you here’s my instruction.’

Mercedes: Alright, Jesus answered them, ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name saying, I’m the Christ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you’re not troubled. For all these things must happen but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.’

Lance: Alright, stop right there. See that you be not troubled. And why should we not be troubled? Because these things have to happen. So, if you don’t understand why they have to happen, you’re missing the key. Which is because I’m doing a mop up operation. I’m coming back. So, these things have to happen because they’re that Satan’s going to manifest as I am coming back. And he’s going to be desperate. So, these things have to happen because so when Jesus goes to cast out a demon. There’s a great story of Jesus is up in the Mount of Transfiguration, has this wonderful encounter with Peter, James, and John with him. And when he comes down from the mountain, immediately, he comes down to a big debate. The Pharisees and the remaining disciples.

He left back in charge of his ministry are having chaos breakout. Because there’s a child who needs to get a demon out and the disciples can cast it out. That’s kind of a humbling moment for them. They’re doing this demonstration of Jesus in the name of Jesus come out and the kids not delivered. And the Pharisees which is typical of religious spirits, are arguing over how come what they’re saying isn’t working. And while they’re debating, Jesus says, ’Wat’s going on?’ And they said, ‘Well, this we try to cast this demon out and it won’t come out and they’re arguing with us about why. ‘Jesus beautiful command. He says, ‘Bring him to me.’ It’s like a powerful, right there is a powerful saying, bring that child to me. Now the boss is here, let me show you guys what you’re doing wrong.

As the spirit sees Jesus, it immediately convulses and the child goes into manifestation. What does it tell you? When the devil sees Jesus, he manifests and then Jesus cast the demon out. And they said, ‘How come we couldn’t do it?’ they were used to having success tells you that most of the time demons come out without a whole lot of problems. He said, this kind, this particular species of devil requires prayer and fasting. Fortunate for you that I am prayed up and fasted up because I cast it out. You guys, you just don’t approach that one casually. You need a little bit of preparation for that one but don’t worry about it.

Mercedes: Yeah.

Lance: And he goes on with his next campaign.

Mercedes: Yeah, I like that.

Lance: Why are you laughing?

Mercedes: No, I’m not. It just makes me think of that story that Mario told this weekend because he came down and he told the story at the dinner table about how, it was like these priest and he was training like a new guy. And he’s like okay and he commands a new guy. We’ll call him William. He’s okay William you got to fast. I want you to fast for 3 days because we got to cast this demon out of this lady. And he goes, okay. So, he fast and then they go to cast the demon out.

Lance: Oh Lester Summerall.

Mercedes: Oh, yeah.

Lance: Yeah, Lester Summerall who is contemporary with Derek Prince. They were both deliverance ministries.

Mercedes: Yeah. So, Lester Summerall tells this guy like William, hey you got to fast. So they go to cast the demon out of the lady and he goes, you come out of her you foul spirit and the demon doesn’t come out. And he goes, no you listen, we fasted we prayed you come out of this woman right now. The demon goes, William ate.

Lance: The demon called William out, oh William ate. Lester Rhomas, is that true? Yeah, I did.

Carl: That reminds me of a story with Kim Clement. I won’t say his name but they were supposed to fast.

Lance: Oh, no Michael Badman.

Carl: Oh yeah, his name then, but no they were supposed to fast together. They were doing like a 30 day fast together or what not. Kim saw Michael and he goes, ‘Have you been fasting Michael?’ And he goes, ‘Yes prophet. Yes, I have. And he goes, ‘No, you haven’t. I can see that donut in your belly right now.’

Lance: And he goes, ‘I’m sorry Kim. You’re right. I was weak.’ He had a doughnut that morning.

Carl: Yeah.

Lance: He says, ‘If you’ve been fasting why is there a doughnut in your stomach?’ ‘I’m a big man. That’s it. 6.7’.’ He goes, ‘I’m sorry.’ And he told you must start all over again from day one. Well, this has just become such an interesting conversation. We haven’t even really gotten into Becoming Unstoppable. That’s where we’re actually trying to go but this is so important to get the idea that there’s a context for the moment, you’re alive and you have to be able to see that even in the tribulations of life, God has a purpose that isn’t changing and he’s inviting you into the stability of your purpose and your assignment.

So, why don’t we seal this first part right now? We’re picking up again tomorrow and we’re going to continue on. Because I want to talk about the glory that is to be revealed in you and two or three keys to making that glory practical and tangible right now in this season of your life.
