House Speaker Vote: Jim Jordan Loses 1st Round

While the Democrats showed a force of unity with all voting for Hakim Jeffries, 20 Republicans voted against Jim Jordan.
Jordan lost the first round of voting for Speaker. Rounds 2 and 3 will be much more telling, as some speculate that many “protest votes” and “tribute votes” will flip to Jordan.
