Welcome to the Lance Wallnau Show. I love doing this show because well basically, I get to have the most interesting people on. I get to pick who I interview and today Mercedes Sparks and I have between us of interesting and a powerful young man who I’m particularly interested in introducing my audience, Chris Reed. Because I am a, how should I put it? In my 67 years of life on planet Earth, I get to meet all kinds of different ministries, but I have a particular interest in the prophetic. This is my years with Kim Clement and I have kind of a discerning about this and I see a new generation of young prophets rising up in the United States that we need to be paying attention to because as happens with ministries, they have a gradual kind of ascendancy but right now, we need to hear who those voices are. We can’t wait for 5 or 10 years from now to be able to say, oh, have you heard what so and so said? We need to be hearing what so and so is saying right now and Chris Reed is one of those wonderful voices that is emerging. Chris, welcome to the show today.

Chris Reed: Glad to be with you, Lance.

Lance: Always good to see you and this is what I mean. When I when I would do these meetings with Kim and they were in local churches and a lot and very similar to you, I would say. In that he would be getting words within the radius, almost like WIFI. You pick up on something around you and but I noticed we’d go to the restaurant and he couldn’t turn it off. His WIFI was still picking stuff up, and he’d be bothered and it was it’s ADD to begin with but I mean I’d be sitting there with him in a restaurant and he’d be irritated. What’s the matter? He goes that man over there is having an affair and cheating on his wife. I go, who? The guy on the phone right now. He’s talking to the woman. I go, behind-behind him with somebody talking on the phone. He’s picking it up. And I would ask him. I would discuss with him. How do you actually you know do this?

Because Kim had an a very accurate word of knowledge. Which is why I want you to meet this this young man Chris Reed. He has a very accurate word of knowledge and where I’ve seen it the most displayed is where I love to see it. It’s right in proximity to where I’m sitting in the audience because there’s one thing if you have a predictive word. All prophets feel I guess the responsibility or the pressure to have to speak about what’s happening with national. Interesting enough Kim’s words were less certain the further he got from the radius where he was geographically. So, he’s talking about what’s going on in the world, there’s a chance it was happen the way he said, a chance that you have to reinterpret it later on, but if it was in the room 100% of the time, it would blow your mind and it’s verifiable because the persons in the audience.

Now, as a pastor, I know who’s in my church and is not. So, I would always be particularly interested in knowing he didn’t know who they were. But when he picked people out that were visiting my church, I knew that was especially out of the loop because he didn’t even know who’s going to be in the meeting and you have the same unusual phenomenon. Every time I’m with you, you’re prophesying over a visitor to Morning Star. So, it’s not even like you have the benefit of a little as if you’re cynic. Well, does he know something about him? Is he checking up on them? Is he looking at their Facebook feed? You don’t even know who they are. They’re visiting and they tell you first time I’ve been here and I’ve seen this happen on more than one occasion. So, I’m just setting this up for you because you’ve you’re doing a school of prophetic now?

Chris Reed: Yeah, School of the Profits. It goes from September to May. It’s one week in the month and this is our second year and we’ve had somewhere between three and 400 students both years. Some people come each month. Some do it at home but the overwhelming majority of people have said they have dramatically increased in revelation, words of knowledge, dreams. It’s exciting.

Lance: Well, you tell me you aren’t interested in that. I know my audience. Alright, so give us like an example of how that we footage we could show people which is. We’re certainly going to show them. But I want you to tell us like what’s one thing you teach that helps increase the acuity of a prophetically inclined person to be able to hear or see more accurately?

Chris Reed: Well, I would say learning to distinguish God‘s language to you because Godknows what’s your language. He understands what music you’ve listened to, your favorite movies, nature, whatever you’re privy to, God knows exactly what resonates with you. So,learning to distinguish the voice of God in everything around you versus the voice of your own mind chatter. I think is the ongoing developing education that we are all learning but I would say that when we recognize, number 1, God is wanting to speak to his children. Number 2, what is his voice sound like? Number 3, how do I distinguish the voice of my own mind from God‘s voice and all of these various ways that he can speak and in scripture, he spoke in various ways through a donkey. In a handwriting on the wall. All these different ways that the Lord speaks in different settings, different cultures, different people. I think it’s just important to learn the language that God speaks to you because he also knows your language. So, how he would convey a word to you may not be the same that he would convey a word to me.

Lance: Alright so what you’re saying is God speaks to you through the familiar way in which you process information right? So, let’s talk about a recent example. You were in Morning Star. You had a visitor and you were teaching the class I guess on how to just slow down and quiet yourself to hear. That’s an interesting idea because I imagine when you’re in ministry or you’re in a public setting you feel like more pressure. So, this sounds counterintuitive. Talk about quieting yourself down. What are you doing?

Chris Reed: Well, I believe that night I was teaching. It was I believe it was in March 2023. I said just earlier a few weeks ago I was teaching that night on Psalm 46:10. “Be still and know”. So, I was bringing this connection about stillness is connected to revelation knowledge or knowing. And how that so much of media and everything going on around us is vying for our attention. All these voices. None of them are without signification. But learning how to shut that off, silence dropped down into your spirit man and know that the Lord to commune with you inside your spirit. “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength”. So, I think that was the theme that night and so I was demonstrating this on stage ministering and I go into this word for this particular woman. We’ve documented it on a show that I’m doing called Prophetic Chronicles on Morning Star TV, and I begin to speak to her and let me give this example.

When Jesus was speaking with the woman at the well in John 4. I love how Jesus bridged the things that separated them. He was a man. She was a woman. He was a Jew. She was a Samaritan. He was one religion. She was a different religion and they even talk about that. And he says, he sits down in an everyday place. He was waiting every day for the father to show him what to do, where to go. He said, I only do what I see my father do. Goes out of his way, sits down at the well, so in the context of everyday situation, he starts a conversation with this woman and he says, give me drink and so on and so forth. Then he says something, go call your husband. Now when we later on figure out that she had been married five times and the one she was with was not her husband it almost somebody could look at that and say was Jesus getting it wrong when he said, go call your husband, if he should have known she wasn’t married. But in reality, he was making a connection with her in the spirit in the most sensitive area or the secrets of her heart and the prophetic has a way of doing that.

She went into this whole thing of I’m a Samaritan, you’re a Jew, you’re a man, I’m a woman. Samaritans say, we should worship in the mountains. Jews say, we should worship in Jerusalem and Jesus said, well, what I’m bringing to you the kingdom of God, it’s got nothing to do with geography or location. It’s got to do with the stillness of the individual within their heart. So, he says to her, go call your husband. She has no husband. This word of knowledge, at the end she goes into the whole city and says, come see man which told me all I ever did. Now here’s the thing. I believe that actually set the stage for what happened in Acts chapter 8 and chapter 9when Philip went down to Samaria. Preaching the word of God, demonstrating with signs wonders and miracles all because of one word of knowledge in an everyday place in that time drawing well, drawing, excuse me, water from well. So, that set the stage for something that happened years later a city-wide revival one prophetic word.

So, I call out to this woman and the first thing I see is her on a motorcycle and she’s like, yeah,my husband and I, we ride motorcycles. She’s like there’s nothing that connects us more than us riding motorcycles. I’m like, well, I see a red one I see a blue one, I see a gray one and I mean she was shocked. I literally saw the colors of the motorcycles they own and then it went further than that. I said, ‘I saw one of the motorcycles that she had or that her husband had.’ He doesn’t have a business. He does this for a hobby. He repairs them. I said, ‘One of them had a gas line leak that he just had to fix.’ She’s like, ‘Yeah, with just in the last few weeks that had to be done. He ordered the part. I was there when he ordered the part.’ I saw one of them had rust on the back fender. I saw one of them had a reoccurring problem with the tire staying inflated. I saw him having a wreck on the motorcycle that nearly took his life. I’ll finish just a few more things here, and then I saw the as I said the rust on the back panel. And then I see her husband in this vision is I’m talking to her sitting in this garage like area and this man comes up and they’re talking. I saw him come in a black truck and she’s like oh my God, she’s like that man is Kyle.She’s like, He just bought the black truck that you’re talking about last Friday, 7 days ago and when I left the house to come to this church service tonight because she lived about an hour away from Morning Star.

She said, he was at the house talking to my husband when I left and then it went on just a little bit more. I saw this connection with this guy, Kyle and this other guy that they had something in common and here’s another thing. I saw this 67 Chevy. Okay? And I don’t know a whole lot about antique cars, but I saw the word 67 Chevy and I it was like it was in this garage and she’s like, the people that just moved in next door have a 67 or just had bought or something like that. A 67 Nova, and I said, wait a minute. I said, ‘I hear them having this discussion. They’re deciding on whether or not they build this garage or they put this pool in their yard.’ She later came back and confirmed when I interviewed her, she’s like, ‘I asked him that night or the next day and they actually had a disagreement.’ The husband wanted to build the garage to put the antique car in and it did turn out to be a 67 instead of the pool in the back.

So, then I saw he needed a double knee replacement and she’s like, oh my gosh, this he’s got bone on bone in his knee. I heard conversations between her and her husband about their church experience. The caller of an aunt antique tractor that they owned just like the woman at the well. What’s the big deal about you’ve had 5 husbands, the one you’re with now is not your husband?Well, it’s revelation knowledge and she confirmed this is not public. You can’t find this stuff online. It just lets us know God knows us, the details of our lives. He numbers the hairs on our head. He knows the conversations, the secrets of the heart, and he wants to be intimately involved in every aspect of our life, our hobbies, everything else. One last thing, I saw she was restoring something, but I didn’t see what it was but she said, yeah, I’m restoring a hotel. A few years ago, I was restoring this hotel or I wanted to restore it. I said, ‘Yeah, but only part of the money came in but the rest of it didn’t.’ She said, ‘Yeah, I only got enough money to buy it but the money that I was told that I was going to get to restore it didn’t come.’ So, it just was really incredible.

Lance: Now, when you listen to all this, so I watched the video, I watched it live, right? Then, I watched a with the woman and discuss it and what I want to point out to the audience is this is a series of like 10 unfolding revelations, words of knowledge, etcetera that he’s dropping on her while they’re having this live conversation with her in a class and him on a platform talking. Now, were you, was all of this visual because you said you also heard them talking. So, were you seeing a picture in your mind and your imagination? So, let’s help to decode this for people.Because some people process the prophetic and I’m convinced personally that because God talks to you in familiar ways, you might dismiss it. If he talk to you unlike you, you talk to yourself, you might go, well, that’s unusual. But if it’s just like you, you, you might not know it’s God. In which case, God, because so like when I would be with Kim, I remember one night, I was asking how he got the name Godfrey out of on a platform is this lady standing there and this African-American lady standing, he’s saying, “Your son is in prison”. And the Lord says, “He’s going to get him out. He’s going to get him out by Christmas”. And he just closes his eyes and shouts out Godfrey and she drops to her knees and yells, “That’s my boy”. So, I said to him later, I said, are you were you hearing that? He goes, I heard everything except the whole time I was annoyed by the devil trying to distract me with a cartoon I kept seeing Godfrey. I thought it was mocking me.I thought it was a spirit that was trying to interrupt me and I finally realized I’ll just shout out what I see because he sees Godfrey the cat and he said the cartoon.

He said, lately God talking to me in cartoons as well. And I thought, I wouldn’t even know who Godfrey is but he must read the cartoons. So, then I realized my gosh God doesn’t and he said I don’t tell people these things because it would rob the prophet of his dignity. I said I guess it would rob a prophet of his dignity if they knew that God talks to you in cartoons but he talks to you whatever language you talk, right?

Chris Reed: Exactly. He speaks your Language. So, for instance her name. I saw the Lordmeeting with her in the morning time. I said, ‘I see you sitting in this chair talking to the Lord.’I’m like and I see you drinking coffee. I mean that’s what I literally saw just visualize. She said my last name’s coffee. So, that’s how that came. And then her first name was a unique name and I said, now wait a second. I said, ‘Is this a nickname.’ She says, ‘No, this is my name.’ Her name was Dida.

Lance: And I got. She kept talking about the deed. You kept saying about the hotel, the deed.

Chris Reed: The deed, you got the deed. Yeah, but all the Dida day, instead of all the Dodah day and so, that’s how it came. So, when I interviewed her, she’s like, because I asked her, I’m like, I kept thinking, this is a nickname because the Lord was trying to show me there’s something there that I’m not catching and sure enough, she had a different birth name but her parents from what I’ve gathered, her name was changed because of a conflict in the family or something of she shared this herself, somebody else was named the name, I believe it was Miriam or something like that. So, yeah, that’s how it came. So, I see you’re drinking coffee and not only was the Lordsaying, hey, I want to meet with you in the morning time. They that seek merely find me but you’re drinking coffee and she says, that’s my language. I’m like, well, it’s my language too because it just showed me your last name without even realizing that by seeing her drink coffee.

So, I think that’s it is learning the language knowing that pictures can come mental picture images. I do hear some things. Sometimes it’s like a ticker tape at the bottom of the screen. But it’s just amazing because sometimes it literally like and it’s not always like that. But in that word,it was like everything in her life opened up. It was like in that moment there was nothing I couldn’t see.

Lance: What about the guy we’re running out of time here in this, there’s so many interesting stories. I saw we had a visitor who was there and then her husband I think was sitting next to her and you were giving her a word but you actually were, what happens with you is interesting is you get the names you get words but you don’t always know what it means. And like in that case you were actually getting the name of the street they were on. And then they said, well, that’s where we live. You you’d be saying what you’re hearing. They have to tell you what it was.

Chris Reed: Yeah.

Lance: But what and then you can get the birthday which is interesting. Well, what’s this May 4th, 1948? Oh, that’s my birthday. Oh, alright. Okay. I mean that’s kind of amazing stuff.

Chris Reed: Well, the one you’re referencing there was a couple sitting right in front who were visitors and it was bizarre because they both had I believe it was blue shirts on and identical color blue and I’m like is this your husband? She’s like yeah, I was like, well, I see blue but for some reason I see like pink or pink knee or something. She goes, well we live on.

Lance: That’s it. Pink blue but you kept saying but it’s like keep seeing pink.

Chris Reed: Yeah. I’ll say…

Lance: This pink day. That was it.

Chris Reed: Real quick too. I was ministering in Florida at one of our fellowship of churches. I saw this man who this older couple. I saw they had been in a car accident. How she was injured. That they were in litigation that the person that hit them was suing them. I saw the month of May supposed to be the month something significant happened. They’re like yeah that’s when our attorneys say it’s supposed to be solved and finished. And then so, I prayed for those health conditions. Then I saw him, saw his heart. I saw heart condition, but then I saw something else. I saw this him in a military uniform and he was dealing with this grief and I told him like, I don’t know what this means. I see the year 1975 and you were put in a situation that was so unfair that you were forced to make a decision that you felt like that you were a loser either way. He breaks down crying. He comes up to me after the church service with his pastor. He’s like, I was a gunny sergeant Vietnam and I was given orders from the lieutenant to take my men which were a hundred men under me to take this hill in Vietnam. He’s like I knew it was instant suicide. I didn’t want to do it. They said, well, if you don’t do it, we’re going to court mulchy or whatever.

Well, he does it in 40 out of the 100 men in his platoon didn’t come home that day. And so, for 50 years he had not been able to talk about it. Not even tell his wife. And he said that day, he said I’ve been tormented by this for all of these years and he said and today my darkest secret that I’ve never been able to tell a soul. Not even my wife has now become my biggest testimony.

Lance: Wow. And that happened just before that I’d gotten there sometime before because other people were telling me about it.

Chris Reed: Janet Porter was the one who was mentioning it.

Lance: Janet Porter that’s it. Mention it. Well, so that you have a lot, so you’re seeing a lot and then you out of what you what you’re seeing, but when you’re teaching people have different ways in which they hear. Some would hear and you do hear. You’re hearing voice. Word, but you’re also sounds like a lot of this is visual with you, right

Chris Reed: It is. Yeah. But I do hear voices and I like to I like to say that. But I think that the Lord just brings us into that and I talk about this the language of the spirit and the “7 spirits of God” book. And 2 of those are the spirit of council and might reflected in the menorah the seven golden candlesticks in the holy place and they’re named in Isaiah chapter 11 verses 1 through 3, the spirit of the Lord the spirit of wisdom revelation the spirit of council and might the spirit of knowledge and the spirit of the fear of the Lord and the “7 spirits of God” are the fullness of the holy spirit and activity. I believe that’s where God is bringing the church. We’ve been filled with the holy spirit, but the fullness or 7, the completeness of the Holy Spirit is going to rest on us. So, he’s worked through many but rested on few and I think that’s in this book as I address the language of the Holy Spirit, learning to identify the difference between the council of your own mind versus the council of the Lord and what that looks like for you.

Lance: Well, okay, talk about it. How do you know the difference between the council of your own mind and the counsel of the Lord?

Chris Reed: Okay. Well, I would say being put on the spot as a good example. Ananias and I use this example a lot in the book of Acts. It’s interesting. I think you mentioned this the other day too but I’ve taught this in the school. Ananias who’s apostolic, right? In the book of Acts, the Lord comes to him and tells him I want you to go and pray for this guy named Solatarsus who’s been persecuting and killing Christians. Well, the voice of his own mind would say, don’t go, could be bad, this isn’t good for you. So, when it comes into personal interests, sometimes the voice of your own mind could get in the way. When it comes into self-preservation, what’s good for you, what’s safe for you. But because he was developed in his prophetic apostolic role, the Lord came to him and tells him, go to this house, somebody’s house names named Judas on this street called straight.

So, the Lord does give names and street names and house numbers because it actually mentions Judas a house named Judas and a street called straight. And here’s what the prophetic will do.Three things. Number one, it works with healing the Lord tells Ananias you’re going to go pray for him when you get to the location when you lay hands on him is blindness is going to be recovered. So, the prophetic and healing work together the second purpose of the prophetic. The Lord says, when you lay hands on him and I’m paraphrasing he’s going to be baptized in the Spirit. So, the prophetic brings somebody into a greater personal encounter with God. Number three. Third thing the prophetic does is the Lord tells Ananias, he’s going to be an apostle to the Gentiles a light to bear my name.

So, the prophetic will always do one of those three things. Partner with healing. That’s the spirit of counsel and might. So, healing, bringing somebody into a better more personal encounter with God or helping somebody find their purpose. Those are three things that the prophetic will do in tandem and when you realize this doesn’t help me, this doesn’t serve me, and it hurts no one else, but it furthers the kingdom of God. I’ll put my fears aside, I’ll trust God, and I’ll obey him and so not letting your own self-interest. Not even letting your own personal bias like the prophets of Jeremiah’s day who were proclaiming Judah will win. Babylon will not overthrow you know our nation and they were called false prophets. Not because they weren’t gifted, but because they were only prophesying what was advantageous to them or their nation in the moment. That’s what made them false and that’s when the Lord told Jeremiah, that’s why you are standing in my council. Because you’re not afraid to prophesy things that the people even your own nation that you love and you’re patriotic, even if they don’t wanna hear it. Even if it makes them not like you, even if it’s not what you want to tell them, then that is how you can distinguish and know the voice of your own mind and interest versus the voice of the Lord.

Lance: It’s a good answer. Mercedes, as you’re listening to all this, you have to often I think the gifts of spirit are fascinating how they operate in different people.

Merceders: Yeah.

Lance: And because we should be further down the road now as the church is maturing to realize that everyone here is operating in gifts. I believe at times I don’t even realize it. I think Mercedes, you get gifts of faith for certain things, because she’ll have us do some audacious things that are financially a big commitment and we’re a small group but a small team. But if she’s convinced that the Lord saying this event needs to be done, it’s strange how it works but her gift of faith on it in a sense I tap into that and then I have faith updrafting off of gift of faith and I don’t even question if it’s going to work out. My focus is on the event which is why teams are so important. But how do you hear Mercedes? So, there are times when you do hear. Obviously, there’s times when I disagree with you so it’s always a spirit of council. But many times, you’re right and so.

Merceders: Well, this is Paul not the Lord. There’s a distinction there but now, I think it’s interesting. I have this interesting experience where and it happens when I go into other cities a lot of times or sometimes, I’m around people. I will actually just start to kind of feel what’s either bothering them or those same intrusive thoughts will start to bother me or I’ll feel something over a city. So obviously, there’s the whole Prague story where all of a sudden, I just had all these really suicidal thoughts. When we went to Prague and I don’t normally deal with that. And so,the Lord had me go back and pray. I prayed through it. Prayed in the spirit and he said, look up the suicide rate in the check. And it’s like one of the highest suicide rates in Eastern Europe. And so, he said, “Open these beautiful bay windows. And he said, open the windows and declare of the city you shall live and not die”. You should live and not died. It’s 7 times and whatever it was that was bothering me kind of broke off. And so, then we’re touring the city later and our tour guides there.

We go to the statue of John Huss, one of like first martyrs right in the middle of the city square there in Prague and there’s four phrases written on the side of the statue and we walk up and he goes, here’s the statue of John Huss. Written here, it says in check, “Live nation sacred in God, you shall not die”. And my jaw, this is one of the first times I’ve been exposed to something like that and been used in that way and so just instances like that. So, I’ll end up feeling a lot of times what other people are dealing with. And then yeah and I’m more of like an Elijah prophet. Like if I get a really strong word, it’s like I’m going to speak it to you very directly. Unfortunately, Lance knows that. My husband Larry who’s over there in the audience also knows that where it’s just kind of like come on. Get it together. Let’s go.

Lance: And it’s true and I think it’s important that we are open to discover How our teams move in the spirit because they might not even be might be so familiar to them that they don’t know that it is the spirit of God, right?

Chris Reed: Yeah.

Lance: And that can be you could probably be hearing God not knowing is God is what I’m trying to keep coming back to.

Merceders: True.

Lance: And you got to learn how it is that you hear but the thing I want to zero in on before we end this broadcast is your book on the “7 spirits of God”. I need to get more of a handle on why you wrote the book and why that subject. Why did that out of all the themes in the Bible? What was it about this that jumped out at you?

Chris Reed: Well, in December of 2020, I had an encounter with the Lord where I was caught up into the realm of the spirit and this doesn’t happen every day, okay? But I was caught up in the realm of spirit, this very holy sovereign thing and I see this angel standing in front of me in front of a door and he opens this door and I walk into this room and it looked like an ancient library. If you’ve ever walked in the library, there’s fiction section, nonfiction, adventure, action, whatever. I saw the section in this library. It was like a heavenly library and the Bible does talk about,there’s books of life, there’s books he documents the days of our lives. Isn’t it Psalm 139:16” the supernatural section. I come to the supernatural section, I see the book in and it says this the “7 spirits of God”. Well, I pull out the book and on the front cover it had written the spirit of the Lord which is the order of them mentioned in Isaiah 11 verses 1-3. I turned the front cover over and there were 5 thick white pages. So, it was like five pages within it were thick white pages because they were a story within themselves.

The first thick page was the spirit of wisdom. Turn it over. Spirit of revelation. Turn it over. Spirit of council. Spirit of might. Spirit of knowledge. And then the back cover of the book. I turn it over and had the back written on it. The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord. Was I pondered those in this encounter I look up and I remember looking down and I looked and realized that the back cover of the book had been torn off. And when the back cover of the book was torn off, all of the papers fell out onto the floor. So, the angel says to me, “When the fear of the Lord is stripped or ripped away, then all of the rest of the supernatural leave as well and the fullness of the holy spirit”. So, what I gathered from that is, in the book of Acts when the fear Lord came upon the church, great signs and wonders, miracles were done by the hands of the apostles. They were unified. They had this great success where even the shadow of Peter healed people and all of this and it was because the fear of the Lord was the bookend.

It was what held the book together, the binding and when the fear of the Lord is restored to the church, the reverential awe then the spirit of wisdom, revelation, counsel, and the spirit of knowledge comes back. And what I say is the Lord shows me this, the “7 spirits of God” are the9 gifts of the spirit in full maturity.

Lance: The “7 spirits of God” are the full mature manifestation of the 9 gifts of the spirit.

Chris Reed: So, it’s not a word of knowledge that may come and go but the spirit of knowledge is when it’s an endless river. I think that as a and grows and matures and develops, what begins as one of the 9 gifts of the spirit. Like for instance the gift of healing and miracles, well that’s the spirit of might, a word of knowledge, word of wisdom, discernment. Well, that’s the spirit of counsel, but these things come and go. But as we grow and learn to develop distinguish the voice of our mind, the brain chatter, the voice of the Lord and as he trusts us with these. Balancing out with the fruit of the spirit and the nature of Christ, the 9 gifts then mature into the fullness, 7 meaning full or complete. The fullness of the Holy Spirit and that is when the supernatural goes to a whole new level and that’s why when the spirit of God, the 7-fold spirit of God descends on Jesus at his baptism. That’s when the greatest supernatural miracle ministry of history in three and a half years began.

He was born filled with the spirit. Jesus but when the spirit came and rested on him, it was different than it filling him. So, when it rested on him, the Bible says the spirit of God descended and alighted or rested upon him. That’s when the supernatural ministry began and that’s the “7 spirits of God”, the 9 gifts of the spirit in full maturity.

Lance: So, you believe that the fear of the Lord is the priority really right now.

Chris Reed: It is.

Lance: Or the recovery of the rest of the gifts. If the fear of the Lord is that important then how do you define the fear of the Lord? What are we looking for? I mean we’re going to have to see a restoration of it. What does it look like?

Chris Reed: Reverential all. So let me give you this just a few quick examples of the fear of the Lord. Proverbs 111 verse 10. “The fear of the Lord‘s the beginning of wisdom”. Which is also one of the “7 spirits of God”. Proverbs 1:7. “The fear of the Lord‘s beginning in knowledge”. There’re another one of the “7 spirits of God”. Proverbs 10:27, “The fear of the Lord prolongs life”. Proverbs 14:27, “The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life”. Isaiah 33:6, “He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord is his treasure”. “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil”. Proverbs 8:13. So, this is the revelation that came to me to talk about this, Lance. Acts chapter 5 verse 11. Ananias and Sapphire lie about their and here’s what the Bible says in response. Great fear come upon all the church and upon all who heard these things. And through many and through the hands of the apostles, many signs and wonders were done among the people. They were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch yet none of the rest dared join them but the people esteemed them highly. The believers were added to the Lord multitudes of men and women so that they brought the sick out in the streets and laid them on beds and couches that that least the shadow of Peter passing by some of them that they would be healed”.

So, the point is this, when the fear of the Lord and the Bible gives the people can look up verses about it. When it’s restored, miracles. This is Acts 5:12. This is what a church looks like when the fear of the Lord is restored back to the church. Miracles are done by the hands of the apostles. They were all with one accord. Unity comes to the church. The believers were increased, evangelism, soul winning, increase. It says that none of the rest dare join them and it esteem them highly. That’s the next thing that happens. When the fear of the Lord returns to the church, the world begins to fear the church again and the gifts of healing and miracles. The sick were brought out in the streets and shadow of Simon Peter heals the sick.

So, when the fear of the Lord comes, we’re talking healing, miracles, signs, wonders, unity, people beginning the culture fearing the church again. Increased soul winning evangelism. The church is multiplying in number. That is the missing element and some of the hyper grace teaching has taken that, ripped that back binding off. So, we’ve lost a lot of the supernatural, but Acts chapter 5 verse 11 and 12 and 13 through, I’m sorry, Acts 5 verse 11 through 15 tells us what happens when the fear of the Lord returns to the church and it’s everything we’re praying for.

Lance: So, it’s the point of your book with the “7 spirits of God” to help do what would that book do for people? So, does it help to give an understanding of how the fear of the Lord can be manifest or?

Chris Reed: Yes. So, there’s activations eh in it but it also shows the theology of the seven spirits of God where they’re mentioned in the Book Revelation right before the throne of Godand how people can come into a fullness of operating, not just in one or two but in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. The full the spirit of wisdom and revelation counsel might knowledge and fear of the Lord. Everything the Holy Spirit is being restored back to the church. That is what the book is about. And I show the theology for that.

Merceders: No, I just think it’s a really powerful new insight and I absolutely think the word for the church in this hour is to fear the Lord. I’m hearing it from Chris. I’ve heard a couple other places for people I respect and God‘s bringing us into something. So old, it’s new. I do.

Lance: It is so old but it’s still. I’m going to give you guys two verses that are coming to my mind right now. They’re unusual verses, but that’s sometimes a word of knowledge is the spirit bringing you remembering certain things. And you say them because the spirit gives them to you. One of them is, because sentence again an evil matter is not executed immediately. Therefore, the sons of disobedience do set their hearts to do evil. Think about that, because sentence against a matter is not executed immediately because of God‘s and compassion and forbearance. He does not give you a consequence for what you do. If you got an immediate consequence, the fear of the Lord will be a little easier. But the mercy of God intervenes many times from giving you immediate consequences, because God wants you to not have to suffer and he wants you to make a different choice and so, he’s working patiently. But because sentence against you take over spending in government because sentence against American irresponsibility with money isn’t executed immediately. Therefore, the sons of disobedience do set their hearts to crank out more debt.

It goes to every area of life, but then there’s another verse that says, “When thy judgments are in the earth, then shall the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness”. Which means the moment the consequence shows up, the fear of the Lord becomes accelerated. It might be that in a period of America’s divine discipline. I avoid the word judgement only because I think judgment sounds like God is doing it. I think God‘s mercy has been on us and what we’re about to experience is the consequence of God not intervening with our own choices.

Chris Reed: Yeah.

Lance: And then it’s going to look like judgement because it’s God‘s the moral governor of the universe set up the system of laws and effects and the effects are coming home. So, when the effects come home, it’s like the person who disregard guards God with their weight or their lifestyle and then they have a heart attack and suddenly them and everyone in their families praying and even they’re repenting. And when they come out, they’re going back to church again,they’re walking different for a period of time. Why? Because the sentence is executed the fear of the Lord shows up. So, it could be that America’s heading into a period of time where the harvest of what we’ve been doing will produce consequences and when that happens even society is going to be more open to the fear of God.

So, all these things are going to work together for good. And that sometimes is how it works together for good. But to you that fear the Lord, you don’t have to fear what they fear. When COVID came out, the only word I got on an airplane. One of the last broadcasts I did without a mask. So, I was slinking down behind a chair in business class. I said I got one more word for you. I was flying a Morning Star, I think. And I said, the Lord just said whatever’s going on with this COVID thing they’re talking about this Wuhan thing. “Do not fear what they fear and do not call conspiracy everything they call a conspiracy”. I didn’t know what the Lord meant. I said, I don’t even know what that means. But I’m going to tell you, fear is about to hit. Don’t fear what they fear and don’t believe everything you’re hearing. That’s all I knew. But God told me that and I’m telling you, this is going to be a great book for you. That’s why I wanted to have Chris read on. It’s great prophet, great school.
