Lance: Welcome back to Level 10 Living. We have had an interesting conversation this week so far on how to deal with walking whole. And part of what I’m been focusing on is that maybe we need to update a little bit about how we see Jesus. Because David said for instance, I beat my enemies fine as the dust. I remember Derek Prince saying years ago, the great deliverance minister. He said, unless you’re willing to deal with your enemies and do with them completely then you will compromise with them and your enemies will steal your anointing. Your enemies will steal your life. When Saul compromise with the with Amalek in the Old Testament, it cost him his crown. It cost him his dynasty. It cost his son his legacy and Derek Prince’s point is in deliverance. When you’re dealing with demons, you can’t deal with them on a basis of a truce or a partial negotiated settlement. You have to beat them as fine as the dust.
So, we have these verses we were talking about last week. From Psalms. Combining worship with warfare. Psalm 149. “Let the saints be joyful in glory. Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand”. What is the two-edged sword that you use with your spiritual enemies in the New Testament? It’s the Word of God. The sword of the spirit is the word. And God‘s words become a weapon of war. You can literally execute authoritative, powerful utterance on the activity of hell in your life. You have the ability to bind, you have the ability to lose. You have the ability to cast out, and in the spirit realm where there’s rulers and powers and principalities, we find that there are different, these verses talk about binding kings and nobles with feathers of iron. I believe that the spirit of the lord is saying that there is a level of authority in the church that I’m going to read you some notes here from Jack Hayford. The literal enemies mentioned here find their New Testament counterparts in Paul’s list of Ephesians chapter 6 in the generalized works of the devil. Disease, poverty, demonization, and so on. All these enemies can be countered in a worshipper’s life by God‘s reign released through heartfelt worship and praise.
So, the relation between praising God and spiritual warfare and using the weapons of these words that are in the Bible to deal with your enemies are all part of the process of being able to be victorious. Now that goes into the soul. What enemies do you have to bind? What enemies do you have to execute the judgement written on? What enemies in the spirit realm are you going to have to the battle with? When you become born again, you got a whole new technology. Your born-again spirit actually gives you a heightened level of hearing God. Remember I talked a little while ago about how wisdom is related like Solomon to wealth but how intimacy like David had in his Psalms and his worship is equated to presence. You don’t have to choose between presence and prosperity if you walk in both wisdom and intimacy. Does that make sense?
So, when you get again, you get an upgraded technology in your spirit. You got three parts, your spirit, soul, and body. Your soul doesn’t change when you’re saved. Your mind, your will, your emotions. What happens is you’ve got new technology on board and your recreated human spirit now has three attributes on page 23. You can see them here in your ultimate life strategy and the new technology has intuition. Intuition is the ability to sense what’s coming. Intuition can pick up on a battle before it shows up. Intuition can tell you what course of events are in front of you. It’s a strange phenomena that is sometimes seen and sports teams but I don’t want to diminish it too much to something too secular.
But I mean when you watch a person in flow. I think Larry Bird, Carl you’ve seen this before.Larry Bird on a court where somehow, he’s running down court and he knows without looking behind him. He’s passing the ball to someone.
Carl: Yeah.
Lance: What what’s going on in an athlete’s life when they’re operating at that level of intuition?
Carl: It’s a great question before I move on to that answer, I do want to address some of the terminology that we have in the book regarding the mind body and soul. Between shoots yesterday, Mercedes and I were kind of fine tuning some of the terminology and one analogy that I would like to pull from is the computer. So, we have the hardware, the software, and the electricity that runs the whole thing. So, the hardware is the body. The software would be the mind and I think the electricity is the spirit. That’s how I would phrase it. So, yes, the software is definitely impacted by the spirit but it’s only possible to operate the machine if it has electricity. So, it’s only possible if the spirits there. Then, when the spirit leaves, the computer is no longer there. So, that’s something that I would like to fine tune on the mind, will, and emotions aspect of it.
Lance: Cool.
Carl: Now, regarding Larry Byrne and what’s going on with the team dynamics when they’re all in the zone. The group actually begins to operate as one big machine and it’s intuitive. So, when we’re saying intuition, I know that you like to say this isn’t necessarily a natural phenomenon, there’s supernatural elements in play but I do think that the human mind is far more capable than we give it credit for. I think intuition is actually being able to factor certain things at an unconscious level and then you have this intuition that comes from the unconscious into the subconscious or into the conscious mind that then you act in accordance with. So, when these teams are operating in flower, they’re in the zone, it really is like multiple cogs in a clock face, multiple wheels that are all clicking at the same time in order to keep the time on time. That’s one of the things that’s going on with flow or when teams are in the zone.
One of the only ways to do that is through time spent in the zone, time spent practicing so that way you can intuit your teammates are going to be. It’s not necessarily that it’s just a supernatural thing that might be an element to It, but I think it’s worth noting that it is a natural phenomenon that maybe it’s supernaturally inspired but I do think it’s a natural thing.
Lance: And I think it’s important. I think it’s important to do this because this is the only Bible study in the world that goes there. You get your Bible. You get your “Level10living.com”manual and work with us. You see the recreated human spirit. Anybody even if they’re not saved. They have a human spirit. The born-again spirit is what happens when the Holy Spirit comes into your spirit. Your spirit man is made new. I mean there’s a real technology here. The Holy Spirit comes into your spirit. That is the moment when regeneration happens and your spirit man is born again. Now some people never change. Because they never let that energy, that electricity, that new level of information changes the way they think and the way they feel and the choices they make. So, their life goes on with the soul pretty much under the control of patterns and whatever other influences are taking over. To live an extraordinary Level 10 life, you have to actually step outside of the matrix that’s that is controlling you and start to manage your own mechanism.
So, an unsaved person can have intuition. I know women’s intuition exist and story after story before people got saved. Something told me not to do that. Something told me to do this. What is that something? It’s intuition. Conscience exists with unsafe people or they couldn’t get convicted. I mean, unsafe people know this is right. This is wrong. I need to do this. My wife is a great story. She got convicted because she was living with a woman who was in a cultist and she was practicing this witchcraft and she bound the mind of a landlord so that he never collected rent and for a whole year, they were living rent free in Providence, Rhode Island. Annabelle went and told the landlord, she felt bad because she owed her money. Now, she wasn’t a Christian yet. She’s had enough good training as a good human being to know I’m really taking advantage of Sid because Sid’s I’m not paying Sid what I owe him because my roommate put a spell on him.
Well, I led her to Jesus and she told me those stories about her past and I thought, there are different kinds of people in the earth and she had a conscience and she had a conscience before she was a Christian. And then there’s communion. I think there are artists that have a sense of God. They have a sense of beauty. They have a sense of majesty. The sense that’s how they write great music. They do great art. They’re in a sense that sense God. They can intuit but when you’re born again, you have the spirit nature of God come into your spirit. Now, your intuition becomes the literally the Holy Spirit shows you things to come. You have the spirit of God enlightening you as to this is right and this is wrong. Do this or don’t do that, conscience. And then you have this righteousness, peace, and joy, faith, supernatural presence of God is where the communion of God comes from. I’m saying to you, your spirit recreated is the new technology. God‘s got a technology in his people and that technology is the power of the spirit of God, the gifts of grace, and the glory of God heightened in his people.
Let’s take a look at page 23 because I think this is Level 10 Living is going to start happening in the last days. In the last days, the voice of the lord will speak through the voice of his body on earth. Why do I bring this up now? Because much of your life is a preparation to solve a problem that does not yet exist. On page 23, the second paragraph. In the book of Genesis, you discovered Joseph was being trained in Egypt for a problem that didn’t even exist when he went into Egypt. Much of what you’ve gone through in your life is preparing you for a destiny. God knows you have in the future and what you’re going through now you don’t understand but afterwards you will. Who said that? Who said those words, Mercedes?
Mercedes: I don’t know.
Lance: Jesus. He sent him to Peter when he was washing his feet and he washes his feet and Peter goes, “No, no, no, don’t do that. Don’t do that. I mean, I should wash yours”. And Jesus says, “Look, what I’m doing now, you don’t understand. Afterward, you will”. There are things you go through in life when you don’t know why it’s happening. Trust that the Lord is positioning you for a reason for tomorrow and then when tomorrow comes like Joseph, the guy I’m giving an example of. He didn’t know what he was doing in Egypt. He didn’t know why he was a prisoner in Egypt until he was on the throne in Egypt. Then the Bible says, it occurred to him that God put him in Egypt to put him on the throne for the sake of his family and a famine that didn’t exist when he was sent to Egypt but God saw the future.
So, that might explain some inexplicable chapters in your own life. When you ask yourself, what did I go through all that? What was that all about? Ha–ha. Jesus told Peter, “What I’m doing now you do not understand but afterwards you will understand”. John 13:7. It is my belief that we are hurdling toward a time of shaking in an era that is pregnant with both possibilities and perils. My gosh, I wrote this like before COVID and before election upheavals and before everything going on now. And many of you are being shaped right now for things to come. The end of history will consummate in a battle of atmospheres, ideas and utterances. You know what? That’s a powerful statement right there. That the end of the age will consummate in a battle of ideas, atmospheres, and utterances. What I call a clashing of swords. That’s why I’m talking about you finding your authentic voice and learning to worship and press into the atmosphere of heaven.
Your prayers and your words impact the spirit realm. An angel told Daniel that from the first day you set your heart to understand and humble yourself before your God, your words were heard.Your words were heard. I’ve come because of your words. When you say what the Bible says when you pray what the Bible prays when you use God‘s words and repeat them back to God. If you’re doing so in the right kind of frequency of faith, in the right fervency of spirit, then you can reasonably be assured that you’re no different than Daniel whose word Words pulled an angel from the throne of God into his circumstances and started to change his circumstances. Daniel chapter 10 verse 12. “Your words were heard, and I’ve come because of what came out of your mouth”. This is where the word of faith people have their message comes from, by the way. And the words of faith people are absolutely right. That the angels respond to utterance and creates atmosphere. In the heavens, angels and principalities are battling to determine the future of nations.
The outcome will determine if nations will be sheep nations or goat nations. We’re going to cover this in other teachings. Suffice to say that when the lord returns, only two types of nations will be on the earth and the defining issue will be just one thing. Nations will be defined by whether or not how they treated Jesus and his brethren. As much as you’ve done to the least of these my brethren, you’ve done to me. That’s ultimate test of a nation. How did they treat the people of God?
Carl: I respectfully disagree. Personally, I know that’s a very big part of your doctrine, but for me he’s talking about how you treat the poor and how you treat the widows. How you treat the least of these. These are my brothers. These are my sisters. How you treat the least of society. It’s not how you treat the Christians. It’s how you treat the poor Christians.
Lance: Okay Carl’s brought up an interesting point. Let’s go to Matthew 25 verse 40. Because we might as well go where the sources. We’re talking about the eschatological return of Jesus. And I’m saying in the heavens, angels and principalities are battling to determine the future of nations, the outcomes of nations, and that there are sheep nations and goat nations. I may be completely wrong. The Bible isn’t wrong. My interpretation may be wrong. Let’s go see. By the light of the Holy Spirit, what is what is right. It’s funny about this we had a heated discussion here in the last broadcast about what I was teaching but what’s funny is that it’s actually Matthew 25 is what I was talking about when I said that Jesus returns in his parable as a ruler and he determines what each reward’s going to be for each of his servants based on what they did with what he gave them. He says, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You’re faithful over a few things and I’ll make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord”. That was the reward. And this sets up this whole sheep negotiations thing. So, there’s a connection.
Then he received the one talent. Said, “Lord, I knew you were a hard man. You reap where you hadn’t sown. Gather where you haven’t scattered. I was afraid and went and buried your talent in the ground”. And look here it is. He got it back again. I didn’t lose it. Got what you gave me but he didn’t do anything with what God gave him. And his Lord answered and said to him, “You wicked and lazy servant. You knew that I reap where I haven’t sown and gather where I haven’t scattered so you ought to deposited my money at least with the bank and at my return, I could have received my own back with interest. Take the talent from him and give it to him who has 10 talents. Notice that to him who has some more be given and in like nature”. It’s a weird principle. I think I heard Jordan Peterson talk with the rainforest principle which is like there’s 10% of trees that get 80% of the sunlight and the rain. It’s like in nature.
Carl: It’s a prayer distribution. It’s the idea that a small minority ends up absorbing the majority of the energy.
Lance: It‘s true. I mean in any field there’s like there’s a certain person or certain group that actually takes over that becomes the dominant player in that field.
Carl: Right.
Lance: And then he says, “But everyone who has more be given he will have abundance but from him who does not have even what he has will be taken away. And cast the unprofitable serpent to outer darkness of the weeping and gnashing of teeth”. Alright, so Jesus gets done with that parable and then the next thing he talks about.
Carl: Sheep and goat.
Lance: Is sheep and goat nations, which is another version of this theme of responsibility and accountability that the judge will ultimately come and you’ll render an account for what you did with what he gave you. Now to Carl’s question, when the son of man comes in his glory and all the holy angels with him. Then he will sit on the throne of his glory. All the nations will be gathered before him and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. That’s interesting that it’s nations in the King James is being separated. Mm hmm. And he will set the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left. The king will say to those on his right hand. Come you blessed of my father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. I was hungry.
Remember earlier, in earlier broadcast you said that we are, Jesus is so merged himself with us that we become the body of Christ and that whatever he does we also identify with doing also. I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in. I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison you came to me. And then the righteous will answer and say, “Lord when do we ever see you hungrier and feed you or thirsty and give you drink? When do we see you as a stranger and took you in or naked and clothe you? When did we see a sick or in prison and come to you?” And the Lord, the King will answer and say, “Assuredly, I say to you in as much as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren you did it to me”.
Carl: Those that he just listed. Right.
Lance: Right. “The least of these my brethren. You did it to me”. Then we go on and the left hand, he’s going to turn to those who are on the left hand and he’s going to say curse to you. Depart from me into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels for I was hungry. He gave me no food. Thirsty gave me no drink. A stranger you didn’t take me in. Naked and you didn’t clothe me. Sick and in prison you didn’t visit me”. And they’re going to answer and say,“Lord when do we see you hungry or sick or thirsty or in prison? And he will answer them saying, “Assuredly, I say to you and as much as you did not do it to one of the least of these you did it not to me. And these will go away everlasting punishment but the righteous into eternal life”. The question that has to be answered is who are my brethren?
Carl: No, it’s who are the least of these.
Lance: Who are the least of these my brethren.
Carl: Right. But again, it’s a clear distinction between the least of these my brothers. It’s not least of my brothers, it’s the least…
Lance: Correct it’s all one group. It’s the yes, you’ve much as you’ve treated the least of these my brethren, I identify with them, right. So, all we have to clarify this issue is see if the Bible ever defines its own language. So sometimes when people have a debate not the meaning of something it’s refreshing to go to the Bible and see starkly what the language means. So, when it talks about the 10 toes of the beast and it’s like the 10 toes refers to ten economic regions. No, it’s 10 political rulers. Then then you go find the verse. The 10 toes refer to ten kings that are ruling with the beast. Kings Persons, not regions. So, sometimes the Bible answers the Bible.
So, let’s go to Matthew chapter 12 verse 49 and see if we can find an answer. Matthew is the one we’re reading. Matthew wrote for the Jews by the way. He wrote perfectly for the, or was he writing for the Jews or the Greeks?
Mercedes: Can I ask you a question? Now, I’m confused on what we’re having a dialogue about here. So, are we saying that Jesus doesn’t think that we should be helping people who aren’t our brother or we just trying to define that one for at this time? I’m just a little confused.
Lance: What we’re doing is now, we’re defining the criteria that Jesus is going to use for judging nations. We know that in judging individuals, it’s to every man is given ability, talent according to his abilities and each of us are going to be held accountable by the Lord for what we did with the talent that he gave us. That’s personal judgement. Then, it goes on to the judgement of nations. How will nation states be evaluated? They’re evidently begotten and sheep nations. What’s the characteristic difference between a goat and a sheep nation? Its society organized around the principle of deliberate hardship towards an indifference towards and suffering or persecution towards a certain group who are identified as the least of these my people. The least of these my brethren. Now, and Carl says, well, he’s not talking about Christians.
Carl: Exclusively. He’s talking about the suffering humanity.
Lance: Yeah.
Lance: And I’m saying, I used to say at and think that. Until one day in my 40 years of Bible studies, the Holy Spirit said, and who are these? And it was actually another, it was Harold Caballeros that pulled me aside and said, who is Jesus gathering and I said, people. He goes, people. Read it again and I kept reading nations as people. He said, he’s gathering nations not people. He’s dealing with the disposition of sheep nations and goat nations. So, with only 4 minutes left, you’ll have to allow me to speed this up a little bit. Matthew chapter 12, I’m asking the question, does the Bible ever define who the least of these my brethren are? Does the word ever define itself? Matthew 12 verse 46 says, “While Jesus was talking to the multitudes his mother and his brothers stood outside seeking to speak with him. Then one said to him look your mother and your brothers are standing outside seeking to speak with you”. But he answered and said to them, “Well, who is my mother and who are my Brothers?” And he stretched out his hand toward his disciples and said, “Hear my mother and hear my Brothers, forever does the will of God of my father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother”. He stretches out his hands towards his disciples and says, “Behold my brethren”.
With that thought in mind, I come back to what it’s like if you are a Christian in North Korea. What it’s like if you’re a Christian right now even in parts of the United States. Where if you’re a professor or if you’re an entertainer in Hollywood? How you could literally lose your job, be de-platform, and be and so begins the slow process of separating how you treat people based upon their relationship with Jesus. I would propose that one of the characteristics of the last days is going to be greater persecution against the people of God and that it’s going to come down to how nations treat the people of God that is going to be the criteria upon which Jesus judges nations. Now nations aren’t individuals they’re entities. So, what he’s saying here is going into remember when the son of man comes in his glory and his holy angels with him, he will sit in his glorious throne and gather all the nations. I think we forget is that nations go into the millennium that are in the millennium. But that he’s going to be judging nations prior to the millennium and rewarding them or disciplining them based on how they treated his people when he returned.Because there’s going to be persecution against his people.
That kind of goes to, I know we only got one minute left here, but it goes to what Paul was cautious was saying to comfort the Thessalonians. He said, “When the Lord returns, he is going to judge those nations for treatment of you”. There’s in a strange way, judgement is going to be such that you’re accountable for what you did to God‘s people in any era and that the Lord’s going to hold you. He’s going to give you responsibility for how you treated his people and notice what he says, how you treated them is how you treated me. So, when Saul gets knocked down on the road to Damascus. Jesus doesn’t say, “Saul, Saul, why did you kill Stephen?” He says, “Why are you persecuting me? It’s like, “What?” Jesus so identifies with his people that he takes it personally.
Carl: I think Jesus identifies with all of humanity which is why he chose to accept the responsibility of all the sins of man. So, I don’t think it’s limited personally.
Lance: Why are we having this discussion? Well, because this whole chapter, Level 10 Living, the clashing of swords deals with the era we’re in right now. Creating atmospheres and ideas and futures. God has plans for nations. He has plans for you and he has a desire That you would be able to be one of those who could present yourself to him and enter into his kingdom with exceeding great joy because you fulfill the purpose and mission, he had for you. But I’m saying that mission is going to be in the midst of a lot of turbulence. You’re flying your plane in a lot of choppy weather here. But we’re dealing in a consummate battle of the ages in terms of atmospheres, ideas, and utterances and I want you to see that that God is raising you for something even bigger than you may be thought of.
Well, Lance, I’m just trying to get by. Oh, don’t give me that. The Lord delights in taking older people and using them to do what young people are called to do. Because it’s not by might, it’s not by power, it’s by my spirit, says the Lord. You might not have education. God will give you wisdom. You might not have resources. God will connect you with what you need. I’m telling you right now that God is preparing you for a problem that you don’t even know exist and what you’re going through is getting you ready to help lead other people to answers. “So, Level10living.com” is the curriculum that is all there in order to prepare you for the last days clashing of swords and also to give you an opportunity to find out where God has been hiding himself in your life preparing you and gifting you.
