Florida Woman Does Something Crazy While Shanghai Shutdowns Loom

Lance: And I’m glad you’re here. We have Carl and Jonathan down there at any moment. I don’t know when they participate since there’s no prior briefing as to any of the content of the program. But if there’s some inspirational thought that comes in, we’re always interested in hearing it. It’s not inspirational. We’re not interested. I like kidding. I like it. Alright, just keeping on your toes. Alright. So, the lead story we have right now. This is the big thing is obviously the big celebration of the mask, the mask mandate lift. I think you’ve got some footage here Mercedes that you handpicked because you thought it would it helped capture the moment. I hope that this gets out there fast enough because it’s not old news by the time people see it.

Mercedes: This will be tomorrow.

Recording: April 18^th the Biden administration announced that the Transportation Security Administration will no longer enforce the federal mandate requiring mask in all US airports and onboard aircraft.

Recording (Captain): This is the captain speaking. As of right now, all flights in Jetlu, we don’t require a mask.

Mercedes: I love it, Lance. That’s like and for all the people who are on the podcast. Because I know we have so many people that listen on the podcast sometimes and even see us on Facebook. But this is in-air footage of people on the flight that are cheering, the stewardess like tears her mask off and throws it in the garbage. And then the last person where he’s like, “Throw away your mask”. That was an actual flight attendant walking down the aisle with a bag so people could throw their masks away. I mean like I’m so excited Lance. You travel so you must be thrilled.

Lance: Oh, well listen I wasn’t traveling because of that. I mean that’s the big hassle. And the same thing with Uber. But Uber is also dropping their mandate for masks.

Mercedes: Oh wow.

Lance: Because it’s such a hassle. You get off the plane and then you got to go Uber to where you got to go in my world and then it’s like mass again and you can’t wait to just take that thing off. So, it’s a relief to see. But America is like still the nation that I think the world looks to for freedom. Because that’s the spirit of America. We just don’t like having to be corralled, controlled. That’s why I think there’s a backlash coming as Americans find out more of the backstory on the Naomi Wolfe revealing what has gone on with the vaccines. Because the big bombshell report that’s leaking out, but it’s out there, is that during the first 90 days in which the vaccine was being tested. The results were coming in that were so alarming in terms of the dangers and side effects and problems they had that rather than slow down the production and rolling out of the vaccines.

They went ahead with it and they would have suppressed the story for 70 years they wanted to keep you in America from knowing the facts. But thank God America still has enough conservative muscle, so that it forced FOIA act and I think it was probably what’s his name with, it’s not the Center for Law and Justice but Tom Fenton. So, his group was able to push for this release and, bam. Now we’re finding out the facts on the backs and so you’re seeing this the masks come off the facts come out. I think that the mask is coming off the left in 1,000 areas right now and it should be good news for you that love freedom.

Mercedes: I just wanted to throw in there though the reason this got overturned is because a US district judge out of Florida Catherine Kimball Mizel. I have a tweet from Jack Posobiec I think if you guys put that up. But she was the one that overturned the mask mandate, the CDC mask mandate. So, it’s a young woman Florida judge. That’s a modern-day Deborah right there. And if you can’t see her on the podcast, go check it out on my Facebook page or Lance’s Facebook page. And you can see her face. But it’s just so exciting that again it’s Florida and just a literal judge sitting there overturning it. So, excited for Deborah’s in this hour.

Lance: I’ll tell you there’s something about the territory. We taught on this. We teach on this and it’s a spiritual principle that there are regions of the country that are oppressed. Because there’s a spiritual darkness that’s hovered over them authorized I would say by governments that are in collusion with suppressing people’s rights and invading them with wokeness. And then you got the states like Texas and Florida, where they’re pushing back on this national epidemic of Marxism and all of its various forms of bureaucratic overreach and totalitarian control.

And Governor Ron DeSantis another Florida story announced to end Disney World’s special tax privileges and their exemptions from legal liability. Tuesday, Governor DeSantis announced he was calling on a special session to file to terminate all special districts that were enacted in Florida prior to 1968. So, there’s a special district status called the Reedy Creek Improvement District which was created specifically during the days in which Disney was normal. And the state of Florida was happy to have them there. And so that was in 1967, the Governing Jurisdiction and Special Taxing District that was carved out for Walt Disney and his World Resort.

But Governor DeSantis says, hey, since on the national level the government is exercising its power to medal with your life the State has power also. So, the State announced they’re removing the exemptions from the big tech accountability law this is a huge win Disney is a pro groomer and want to exceptionally indoctrinate children. Republicans must understand that woke corporations are the enemy. Follow me to keep updated, says Tim Swain Swain for Senate. He’s running and so you’ve got the political establishment down there which is carving up the social cultural warfare landscape pretty adeptly.

Disney is a guest in Florida. We have written here. Today, we remind them that Governor DeSantis just expanded the special session. So, I could file HB3C which eliminates Reedy Creek Improvement District A 50-year-old special statute that makes Disney exempt from laws faced by the rest of the regular Floridians. Governor DeSantis also signed and this is important and I’m not going to flip it back to you Mercedes. He signed and this is really important. I don’t want to lose this one. I’m not going to bury the lead as Bannon would say on this one. Higher education, critical race theory. Since this is the issue that they want to be able to exploit to be able to get access to your children with their falsely branded don’t say gay bill.

DeSantis says, they’re camouflaging their true intentions the bill never even mentions the word gay. It’s about giving children that are what up to the age of like 3^rd grade of sexually explicit orientation preparation and projects to get them talking and thinking about sex and gender. So, the higher education reform is where he’s going, because that’s what he’s hitting back at. He just signed, let’s get this. Every State needs to follow this and all patriots in every state need to push their legislators and their governing officials to see if they stand with this or against it. He is dismantling the accreditation monopoly, bringing accountability to the tenured faculty who are basically protected like a union from being terminated. Providing transparency in what they’re doing with and protecting students against fee increases by these schools which are making a fortune off of taxpayers.

That’s DeSantis’ announcement Disney World is really coming under the heat of a government in Florida. That says, if you go woke on our watch, we will make you pay for working against the interest of our family.

Mercedes: Yo, I just wanted to talk a little bit of Lance about what exactly is included in the Reedy Creek improvement district. So basically, it functions like a municipality and it allows Disney to do its own zone and land use as well as issue tax exempt bonds to pay for infrastructure projects. Like road improvements, bridges, water treatment facilities. And it also operates its own fire department, but of course it leans on the state for police, anything that has to do with school districts, anything like that. But that’s a huge deal.

I mean when you’re talking about the flexibility that they’ve had for decades to do whatever they wanted. I mean you don’t have to go to the state for any type of approval for land use.

Lance: Right.

Mercedes: I mean obviously there’s certain especially like a wetland in Florida they have to get clearance on, but I mean that’s an autonomy that he’s talking about having removed. That’s a huge deal to Disney who’s almost constantly under construction with new parks, new things down there, new hotels.

Lance: Oh yeah.

Mercedes: It’s a really, it’s going to have a lot.

Lance: I’m curious about maybe somebody can look this up Jonathan while you’re down there. Look up to see, what is the impact happen with the on terms of the Disney corporation stock etcetera as a result of their weighing in on woke grooming of children and their Disney content. That now you were pointing out Mercedes that you saw the last movie that they did and you thought of what was it, Red?

Mercedes: Turning Red, yeah.

Lance: Turning Red and you were already before this incident came up. You were like as a mother with a child. You were like not so happy with what was going on. What was it about the story line that bothered you?

Mercedes: I mean the biggest thing for me is one, there’s the main character, in my opinion, has self-harm in it. When she gets overwhelmed, she hits herself in the face. I want to say two or three times that happens. So, I don’t like that model behavior and then, the other thing is there’s a lot of lying that’s happening to the parents. Again, things that I wouldn’t want my child to see it and then model. Then, there’s a third component which maybe some people would see or not see, but on the spiritual side, there’s an actual like a panda spirit that comes into her while she’s sleeping. So, I look at that as a Christian, and I was like, oh, I don’t want that even imagery being associated as well.

So, in terms of trying to see if there’s a correlation. I don’t necessarily, obviously I know there’s a lot of people cancelling their Disney Plus subscription. Get it not buying Disney anymore. But the whole market’s down. So, it’s hard to draw a correlation to say oh this is directly as or it’s down because of people cancelling their Disney Plus. There’s some of it there but it’s going to be hard to make a correlation like that.

Lance: Well, we’re going to have a real time assessment done by Jonathan Monen, who’s over there diligently right now under the pressure. How’s it going, Jonathan? Give us a status on Disney.

Jonathan: Well, from what I’m seeing, it actually seems like it’s going to take quite a long time if they do actually push through with repealing this. So, and some political commentators are saying that they’re not even sure if it’s politically possible to go ahead and move forward with this. So, I can’t quite define what the impact will have on their stocks quite yet, because it is a more long-term plan to go ahead.

Lance: We’ll do some Googles and check around there to see if subscriptions are down.

Jonathan: Oh, subscription that are definitely down.

Lance: Well, that’s what I’m talking about, Johnathan but I’m not asking for an assessment of the bill. I’m asking for the economic impact.

Jonathan: Well, even just from conservative parents in particular with their comments regarding the parental rights bill. I want to say it was a few 100,000 subscriptions that have been cancelled over a span of a few weeks. So, they’ve definitely been hit in the pocketbooks by strong families that want to uphold conservative values or not even necessarily conservative values. They just don’t like what Disney is saying. I saw even that there were Democrats, liberals, and conservatives. Obviously, higher percentage of conservatives and Libertarians than Democrats. But still a decent amount of Democrats after they had heard the comments from Disney specifically saying that they’re putting queer ideology in so many of their programs and that they have a specific agenda that they’re pursuing.

Even Democrats are saying, we don’t like that. We don’t really trust you as much anymore to be influencing our and we’re looking for alternative forms of entertainment and media for our children to be consuming instead of Disney now. So, they’ve been impacted significantly.

Lance: And one of the nice fallouts of all of this is the fact that now we’ve got Butch Heartmen and other celebrated and award-winning cartoonists and animators working on their own projects. And so, you’ve got this Daily Wire, I think is coming up with their own children programming of a whole lot of creative energy going into. Hey, if Disney wants to indoctrinate our children with their own narrative about identity and sexuality, we’ll come up with wholesome material that is going to protect them. And I just think that conservatives need to be as good as the left. That they’ve turned this into the don’t say gay bill. Because they love to create an incendiary misleading issue.

It’s kind of like the whole George Floyd thing. They’ll work on whatever natural circumstance happens, trauma or otherwise and then exploit it and twist it. So, as to create some kind of a toxic branding that works to the masses. It’s like mass, it’s like a really George, it’s like a Gerbils propaganda ploy. I think what the right needs to do is they need to have they don’t have a name for this. They call it what HB 15 57 or whatever. No that’s actually yeah, that is what the bill is. But they should give it a name too. They should say stop grooming my child bill. So, they’re going to call it the don’t say gay, then the response is stop grooming my children bill, and stop messing with my family bill, and something like that.

But they need to put the context out there. I wish we had research on how to label stuff more effectively. But this is America right now but the real story that we could talk about that we aren’t explore is what we talked about the Article 10. The fact that States have rights and if America’s going to continue to go in the direction of the radical left insisting that everyone has to bow to their religion. And that’s what this is, wokeness is a new religion it’s got a whole new sense of right and wrong good and bad. What is blasphemy, what is not, what is acceptable speech, what is unacceptable speech?

And since they’re going in that direction the States have the right to be able to push back and say, actually we have a level of autonomy. The federal government doesn’t control the States as in every area. This isn’t communism yet and so we’re not a dictatorship now and the States will flex their muscle and they push back. That’s the reason why Governor Abbott has sent two buses up to Washington so far with illegals that have come into Texas. He sent them to Washington and what’s strange is, when they get to Washington guess where they all want to go the illegals want to go to Florida.

Everybody wants to go to Florida, and so that’s as DeSantis is saying, you come here you’re not going to be welcome. So, the States you see are beginning the early stage of what was the Civil War issue of the 1850s and 60s is the States themselves do have rights. And what you got is almost a reverse of the Civil War. In that case, you had a virtuous cause in the North pushing against the slave states in the south. Now, you’ve got an enslavement of the nation cause at the federal level and the free states are pushing back. It’s like a reverse civil war going on. But it’s what I call sheep nations and goat nations and the battle is now starting to show up in territories. So, that’s where I wanted to go there. Now, Mercedes, we have a lot of things in the table right now. Where do you want to go?

Mercedes: Well, I was actually looking one up here which I don’t think is in our stack of stuff. But with what Governor Abbott’s doing, because it correlates to what you were saying about DeSantis. So, Governor Abbott’s actually working with 5 different Mexican governors down there to shore up border security in the state of Texas. He used just like Trump did essentially economic warfare to a certain extent saying, well, if you don’t let us put our border forces down there and help with keeping illegals on the Mexican side of the border. I think we’re going to have to start doing a more thorough inspection of every single and vehicle that’s coming through any Texas border.

And they’re like, oh, well we don’t want that to happen, because it slows down people coming in from Mexico. So, he’s got an agreement. It’s yet to be seen what type of effect that’s going to have but he’s doing a lot of the things Trump would have done, which is using economic policy in order to shore up border security. So, Abbott’s doing good things too fingers crossed.

Lance: Yeah, and it’s unfortunate of course the cynical reality is whenever it’s election, suddenly these Republicans get hyper. They start appealing to their patriot base, what do you want to get me elected and then it takes like what. 65 years to get the thing cooking, is that’s the part that I don’t like and that’s the reason why I’m frustrated with this. But whatever it takes, whatever it takes, that’s WIT that’s what it takes and that’s what it takes.

Lance: One of the things that Annabelle and I are doing, my wife and I are doing right now is we’re reassessing the whole food supply chain problem. We’re looking at the Shanghai shipping is all tangled up now in China. We’re also looking at the impact of Russia and the Ukraine in terms of fertilizer and we’re very much aware that there’s going to be disruptions and disruptions and disruptions. Lance: Switching subjects here for a second. We have the strange phenomena of what’s going on in China and I think that it’s worth looking at. Have you guys seen these horrific videos that have come out of the night time response in Shanghai, which is a city that if I’m not mistaken as a population the size of Texas and like Florida.

Mercedes: There’s like 4 million people in Shanghai in lockdown right now.

Lance: It’s massive and so they’re not only in lockdown. But the footage comes out of when the people are coming out and upset with what the police and their hazmat suits are doing. They’ve got the sticks and they’re beating them down and like knock on the daylights out of them. And you see what a totalitarian State controlled government really is and it’s amazing that there’s only a little bit of footage getting out. I mean they just have that much control over technology that it’s a veil of silence, like Afghanistan now. You have no idea what’s going there.

And I’m sure that the stories are horrendous but the world doesn’t know because a blackout. You can digitally do that. Blackout a country if the government is into doing that. But it doesn’t lift the fact that the Chinese police now are forcing residents out of their homes to build more COVID isolation facilities. And I don’t hear anybody talking intelligently about this, because while the angry residents are heard crying and screaming at law enforcement officials and there are many that are that are starving. I mean they can’t get the food. They can’t eat.

And so, what I’m trying to figure out is if this is not a new variant of COVID. If it’s the Omicron variant, then it actually is a low level of manifestation of COVID like a flu. It passes quickly. Many people have and don’t know it. You could be tested and have COVID with this Omicron variant and it is not a lethal factor. So, I’m a bit mystified and so is the west and no one’s talking about as to what is to be served by this draconian crackdown of the district. And the only thing that I could postulate is and I did it yesterday in an interview is that, every province is under the control of different parts of the political apparatus and the military apparatus.

So, they have a different setup that we have in the United States. We have our Pentagon and then we have the executive branch. Well over there, the communist officials are generals and they are politicians and they are business people who are required to turn over a certain amount of to the government. However, they manage their territory. It could be through corrupt dealings. It could be inside dealing. That’s why all the members of the Communist Party are multi-millionaires. They’re the richest political group in the world, because they’re all getting a piece of the action. They’re all like individual little Don Corleone’s over Long Island or over New York.

That’s why it’s such a, when Bannon and these people talk about this being a criminal enterprise. It’s a design very much like one. I think that the military hardline and political hardliners that have authority over that Shanghai and the other city provinces have exercised their own power to show their muscle and their strength. Because they’re letting the rest of the national party know that they are tough leaders, that know how to control the population. And that they’ve got, so in a sense it’s like Putin who’s trying to put on a show of force in Eastern Europe. And in order to demonstrate to the world that they will not be pushed around that there is power to contend with.

That I think that there’s an element of mischievous personal political agenda in the reason behind this irrational brutal shutdown of Shanghai. Hopefully, we’re going to get some information out there. You guys, if you got anything, send it to us and let us know what data you’ve got. Because I find myself on cannily accurate on these premonitions.

Mercedes: I got a different scenario for you. Tell me what you think about this, okay. Because the whole city is in lockdown. They can’t offload ships. There are thousands of ships sitting off the coast of Shanghai right now and they cannot unload. So, that’s going to be more transitory inflation. Hasn’t hit us yet, but it’s coming. So, I’m just wondering also if that’s part of it of like, it would be really interesting idea. But if that’s what’s they’re also looking to put the squeeze.

Lance: Well, if that’s the truth, then Jonathan, I need you to do some quick research on the on the impact on the slowdown in the Chinese economy. Because if my facts are correct, the reason why I don’t agree with Mercedes on this issue is that they are already struggling with economic recovery and cash flow. That it is in their interests to make sure that they are able to show the UN strong against the dollar and right now the dollar is crushing the UN. Because of this very factor that they’re not able to do business when they shut down their ports. However, the Shanghai port to your point along with Singapore are the two dominant ports of trade in the Eurasia landmass in the Asian landmass.

Mercedes: You can pull up map of boats that are waiting off the coast there and it looks a giant traffic jam right now. And so, I also think we should have a running bit with Jonathan. Where we just give Jonathan the most complex things to research and you just randomly on the fly.

Lance: Jonathan, I’m going to call on you for the quantitative easing formula that they’re using at the Fed. How they’ve modified it in order to keep up with this voodoo economics. No but I’m serious. Why don’t you take a look at the Chinese economy and how it’s turned down and how they’re sucking wind and they’re not meeting their quarterly, their projections. Jonathan, do you have information for me that can prove me right? If so, you can talk. If not, I’ll move on. More seconds.

Mercedes: No, no, no. That’s the running gag. That’s it right there. You just do that every time. I’m just going to need just 30 more seconds Lance.

Lance: I more minute.

Mercedes: Alright so while Jonathan is busy trying to back me up with some facts, I want to say that the Chinese economy is smoke and mirrors people. It’s smoke and mirrors. Because nobody really knows what’s going on there. It’s like COVID statistics. “They have zero fatalities”. Well, everybody knows they’re lying. But you can’t prove it because they just tell you what they want you to hear. And we have no way of piercing the veil because it’s not like Wall Street. Where you can actually look at the transactions to see what’s going on. But I am confident that the facts will back me up.

Now what are we saying here? Mercedes is showing me a note and it has to do with. What you know do you think the supply chain’s going to be a problem here in the US I’m hearing all about food shortages? And of course, we’re talking about a lot of the fertilizer that is necessary is supposed to be tied into. I’m so suspicious, aren’t you of every time the Biden administration tries to blame a problem on Putin. But it does happen to be that the fertilizer and a lot of the components that make that fertilizer are Russia and the breadbasket of Europe is Ukraine. Which is now locked down, another supply chain fiasco where wheat and fertilizer is not coming out. That’s going to directly affect the ability of American supply chains and food and restaurants.

Prices are going to go up and you’re going to see shortages and it’s going to further exasperate shoppers. When they look at these price hikes because of the scarcity and the cost now fertilizer.

Mercedes: I so agree with it and that’s what I was trying to say to you is that like I think part of what we do on this podcast is really sound the alarm and help people prepare. Because we won’t feel it now, but I really think later this fall this is when we’re going to start seeing the transitory inflation really take off from this whole thing that’s happening in China. We will feel that months later than what’s going on right now. And then to your point the fertilizer that we use here for our fields and all of that, we’re not going to have that. So, what should we be doing right now in order to prepare, right? So, like it when it talks about in Hebrews where it talks about faith. It’s like, ‘being moved with fear Noah prepared, Noah built the ark.’ So, we need to prepare.

Lance: And so, two things I can recommend one thing I’m going to do we had our family over for Easter. And as I looked around at all my young my young pups there, my sons, my daughter of course. Now they’re in their 30s and so they’re getting old my daughters like 25 and then they got their fiancés and spouses etcetera. I said to myself as we were having dinner at my house. I said, Annabelle and I have a patriot food supply for us and I looked at them and I thought, how much you want to bet if there is ever a crisis a problem that comes up food wise. And for some reason you have to imagine the scenario can happen where something interrupts the ability of us to be able to get to the supermarkets or the supermarkets are shut down or there’s a shortage or run on. What do I have for my family?

And it’s actually motivating Annabelle and me to go back and restock and expand the Patriot food supply. Because these foods I’ve tried them, they’re edible, they’re nutritious and they last for like what two years or more.

Mercedes: 20 years.

Lance: 20 years. I still can’t imagine myself 15 years from now opening up that Rice-A-Roni and saying, boy. But necessity might drive me to that experience. But I’m going to there with the Patriot Food Supply. So, you buy what like $295. you’re getting yourself like a month supply.

Mercedes: Yeah, they have all sorts of different packages there, all sorts of things you can get. I think to your point that start with you. Start with two weeks, you don’t know. Lance: There’s Fauci disasters.

Mercedes: Yeah, but what happens if there’s like an electrical outage. What happens if the power grid goes down for whatever reason?

Lance: Oh my God.

Mercedes: You got to have a plan in place and the thing that I want to say to people who are listening, I take this responsibility very seriously. I’m responsible for my family. I’m responsible for having a plan for my family. It’s just like, like remember when you were younger and like you have to have like a fire drill for your house. It’s like, what’s my plan if a fire breaks out? You got to be thinking about these things because now and that’s what I’m saying. I’m ringing the bell. Lance is ringing the bell and saying, there’s a concern about food shortages and even at that, just rising prices.

If a loaf of bread’s going to cost us, $25 because of inflation. Who knows what’s happening with the dollar in July? When the International Monetary Fund goes reviews it. So now, right now, you need to be putting plans in place and it doesn’t yes to my Patriot Food Supply but some people can look at that and go oh well I can’t afford that. There are resources online. You can do this in an economical way. Put stuff in the freezer. I mean, it’s just practical things because I don’t want to scare people and I don’t want people to go here be like, oh it’s X amount of dollars. Like there’s ways to do it, my point is prepare.

And what works for me is I went ahead and I bought a food storage like this. I don’t have a year, but I have a couple of months for me and myself and I threw my mom in there too. To your point of, why you throw your kids in there. I’m like, and I threw my mom in there because she’s around all the time, so I’ve got a storage for her.

Lance: So, where can people go?

Mercedes: Sure, yeah. So, if you go to “Lancewallnau.com/patriot”. So, that’s my Patriot Supply. They have a phone number there too. Call them and talk to them and ask them and say, here’s what’s going on with my family. What do you think is a good option for me? What should I be looking at? So, I take a look around the site but go ahead and give them a call and see.

Lance: And give them to get money off? So, look into that.

Mercedes: You know what? We can look but I know the prices on there are already very competitive. That whole space is very competitive. There’s only like three or four companies that really do food supplies.

Lance: So, “Lancewallnau.com” is what I have to go. “Lancewallnau.com/patriot.” That’s what I got to do. By the way, Mercedes just in the side. She is serious about this thing, because I walked actually, she showed me her hydroponic insider kitchen. She’s got this tower of leafy green vegetables and stuff. And you’re going to I want you to like I want to tell the audience about this in another episode.

Mercedes: Yeah. I love it.

Lance: Because it’s working for you, right. You got this whole, it’s really unusual. It’s like her inside the house. She’s got a whole mister green.

Mercedes: Yeah, it’s hydroponic. It’s probably about 6.5, I think it’s on a little roller cart but it’s like a tower. I have about, I can have up to 36 plants in it and it has everything, I mean I have broccoli in there, I have strawberries right now, I have butter lettuce also. Any type of thing you could think you could grow; you can put in this thing. And it is just the coolest.

Lance: Well, I’m going more with vegetables after seeing my grilling experience this weekend. I had another fire hazard going on with me at the old Napoleon Grill.

Mercedes: I think Annabelle’s getting one she asked for the link and I was like, oh yeah, I’ll give you the link.

Lance: Oh yeah, we’re going towards the edible green things.

Mercedes: You know what, we could do if you want, if people are because I know people are going to track me down because they do. We mention things randomly and then people go to my Facebook page. If you go to, I’ll make a short link for it. “Lancewallnau.com/garden”. Does that work? You want garden?

Lance: Yeah, garden.

Mercedes: Okay and I’ll get that link active by tomorrow so people could go and check it out.

Lance: I want to get too hydroponic. Because I like the green. I think green is kind of like it’s great though.

Mercedes: It’s so much food though. It’s like I literally bring things to Annabelle. I will bring bags of lettuce and I don’t know if it makes it to you because I think Joy and Annabelle eat it. But I have so much and what I also would recommend is like staggering them. Because I grow all 36 at the same time and then I have like so much lettuce but it’s good for weeks. I mean, I have a whole growth cycle for me is probably about three months I would say.

Lance: Folks, I’m telling you, this is the way to go. I was in Singapore, talking to an entrepreneur. This is crazy. He has food growing on desks all over his office and his warehouse. Food growing on the roof. They’re doing a Singapore such an advanced culture but he literally can grow stuff. He has seeds and stuff and this special kind of map that you lay down and I don’t know how it happens because you need roots or something. But he’s got all this plant activity going on indoors in Singapore on these flat surfaces.

Mercedes: Wow.

Lance: And he’s got his own multi-million-dollar business going on. I don’t know if it’s in the United States yet, but he said the technology exist and the day will come when you’re looking at outdoors what you can do but you can actually be growing things indoors. And this isn’t even in a hydroponic vertical, like you’ve got. These are flat surfaces with all this green activity on it.

Mercedes: I think it’s the coolest. I really like, I think it’s the coolest. The other cool thing about when you’re growing it like that versus if you go to the store and buy lettuce. That lettuce you bought at the store is dead. It’s been dead for days. All you got to do when it’s hydroponic like this, you just cut off what you need and the plant keeps growing. You’re literally just you cut it and you eat it. It’s great.

Lance: Jonathan, do you have any news for me regarding the economy of China before we close out this important broadcast?

Carl: I do.

Jonathan: Well, I’m not sure if it completely vindicates what you were saying.

Lance: Oh my gosh. Alright, what’s it say?

Jonathan: Well, it does say that their economy is not doing great right now. That their growth is at 1.3% while in comparison to last year it was around 4.8. However, the 1.3 is not that different from how it was in the fourth quarter of 2021, which was 1.4. So, it has slid and it is not doing great right now by any means. Investors are very concerned about what these new lockdowns are going to have on its economy. But I wouldn’t say that it’s because of that right now in this first quarter, but it could drop down even more. So, there’s a lot of concern going around about.

Lance: So, my point is that I’m not so sure that they want to inflict damage on the American economy. Not to mention, I think they would like to keep the Biden administration in as long as possible. Because the information that’s going to be coming out in the Hunter laptop expose has got China on the top of the list for compromised business deals that implicate the big guy, who got 10% from his brother and his son’s business activity. I think China knows they got something on Biden and that it’s not desirable to have a Republican conservative America first administration facing off with China at a time like this.

So, it’s interesting folks how these global dynamics work. It’s like Game of Thrones. And you got the United States over here going they got China over here. You got Russia over here. You got all these different nations going up in here.

Mercedes: You got the White Walkers over here.

Lance: Got the White Walkers as the.

Mercedes: That’s where Claire lives.

Lance: They’re coming in from Portland and you never know what’s happening.

Mercedes: Yeah, totally.

Lance: Alright. Carl, do you have any thoughts you want to share? I know that we kind of had to leap over you to go to Jonathan, because he’s got the laptop available.

Carl: So many things, so many thoughts. First and foremost, Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada has been vocal in the past about his support and admiration for President Xi in the way That the president handles his country. So just a little shout out to the Canadians out there. Your Prime Minister’s a psycho. Number two. Yeah, no, you can you can bust out. It’s okay. We’ll have to edit that part out.

Number two, more important than having food is having guns and ammunition. So, if you’re worried about prepping for food and the supply chain issues make sure that you’re armed. Because we’re about to enter into a dystopian nightmare. Third, I’m also curious what the Prepper’s perspective is on Matthew 6:34, ‘Worry not about tomorrow.’

Well, that’s a great point by the way I’m not sure that we’re about to enter into the dystopian nightmare that quickly. But that’s what preparation is for we’re always putting our hope out there. I know winter is coming, that’s it. Winter is coming. But Mercedes you know what, listen Kiyosaki. Is it Kiyosaki?

Carl: Robert Kiyosaki.

Lance: Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Poor Dad.  You ever see him he’s always happy.

Carl: He’s always be happy.

Lance: He’s a joyful wealthy guy. But I love Kiyosaki every now and then I kind of like catch up. And his thing is like he is buying ammunition, because he believes that ammunition is a future currency. And I hate to go there. But listen, when they said that flatten the curve. It’s going to be two weeks and then ends up being a year and a half. There are people that hear the government say stuff and they immediately think the worst. I’m sorry to say thinking the worst actually is not irrational when you have irrational people in charge of government decisions.

So yeah, so Kiyosaki buys them as for their economic power, because he thinks currency you can trade. You can barter. And it’s like having currency to have a lot of bullets and stuff like that. Which is just an interesting idea. But Mercedes and where’s that verse Matthew, Matthew 6?

Carl: 34.

Lance: 6:34, and then we’ll close out. But Mercedes you have a thought for a wine of this profound moment down?

Mercedes: I don’t know. I just think hope for the best plan for the worst. Why does anybody have term life insurance? Why do we make plans at all? But it’s like I think you have to be prepared. You have to know it’s coming.

Lance: Okay. So, the verse that Carl’s talking about. “Therefore, do not be anxious for tomorrow. For tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” What a beautiful statement by Jesus. Jesus has some of the most delightful rabbi Proverbs. And basically, he’s not saying, don’t worry, be happy. He’s saying, every day has its hassles. Don’t go spending the grace I give you for today on what hasn’t happened in the future. Don’t wear yourself out and frazzle yourself out worrying about what’s going to happen in 30 days. Every day has its own challenge and I’m giving you grace for the day.

I had a great pastor that was an alcoholics anonymous. He would always give me AA Proverbs because they saved his life and he was a great spiritual mentor. He said, that one day at a time, because when they’re overcoming addiction they couldn’t imagine how they going to do this for 30 days. Don’t worry about 30 days. You’re overcoming just one day at a time. Look at that one day. Dale Carnegie had a great book classic book you can’t beat the title of the of Dale Carnegie any books. The guy was a genius and a Christian. It was, How to Stop Worrying & Start Living. And it’s a great title.

And he said, the secret is what Jesus says. Sufficient to the day is the trouble thereof. But the peace of God covers you for the day. Therefore, he said live in day tight compartments. So, you in day tight compartments mean don’t let leakage from the past rob you of your strength for today and don’t let worry about the future rob you from strength for today. Because the verse before that whenever you see a verse it says, therefore do not be anxious. You always say my mentor Derek Prince, the Cambridge Scholar once taught me. When you see it therefore always ask what is it therefore and it’s therefore the verse preceding it. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things should be added to you. Therefore, don’t be anxious.

So, the condition is if you’re seeking first the kingdom. You don’t need to be anxious about what the future holds because God is going to be watching over you. And I say, consistent with this broadcast. One of the ways he watches over you is he gives you heads up, insight, information. So, the prudent man sees trouble and prepares himself, the Proverbs say. So, if you’re seeking first the kingdom, God will give you insight as to what you’ve got to do. Because we have people that say, but I’m in a fixed income Lance. What am I going to do? Don’t worry about that.

A matter of fact, I’m going to be starting a special series for people that have limited resources. Because I’ll show you all the great miracles in the Bible is God taking care of the people who didn’t have the ability to take care of themselves or anyone else. There’s provision for that and the miracles really happen when you’re at the point of you don’t have any plan B. So, don’t worry about that. We got you. We got you. That’s one reason why we have the ministries that we do that are benevolence ministries because we just love to see God resource through us, what we don’t have to give to people that don’t have. It’s a fascinating study in how God is the author of all supply.
