Owner of the X social media platform, Elon Musk, shared his sentiments during an interview regarding advertisers boycotting his platform over their claims of a recent anti-Semitic post by Musk. Musk spoke at the 2023 DealBook Summit in New York on Wednesday and scoffed when asked about the recent boycotts by advertisers. “If somebody’s gonna try to blackmail me with advertising? Blackmail me with money? Go f—yourself.” He added, “Don’t advertise.” Musk also implied that fans of his and X would boycott those advertisers. “The whole world will know that those advertisers killed the company, and we will document it in great detail,” Musk said. He also told interviewer Andrew Ross Sorkin, “I have no problem being hated. Hate away.” Several companies objected recently by pulling their advertising in response to what is being called an anti-Semitic response by Elon to what appeared to be someone’s rejection of progressive ideology, calling it the truth:

Musk later replied again, clarifying that the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) unjustly attacks the majority of the West while the majority of the West supports Jewish people and Israel.
The ADL unjustly attacks the majority of the West, despite the majority of the West supporting the Jewish people and Israel.
This is because they cannot, by their own tenets, criticize the minority groups who are their primary threat.
