Elon Musk Enters Twitter HQ, Sinks Expectations

The up-and-down saga of Elon Musk and his buyout of Twitter appears to be just about over with. Last week Musk allegedly told the banks to expect the purchase of Twitter to go through by this Friday. Today, in a surprise visit to Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco, California, Musk posted a short video of himself carrying a sink late Wednesday morning.
His post simply said, “Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!” The statement was followed by him saying he’d met many “cool people at Twitter.”

The video shows Musk in good humor, laughing as he walks through the building with a literal sink in his arms.

Musk had previously sounded like he was backing out of the multi-billion-dollar acquisition. But according to Judge Kathaleen McCormick, who is presiding over the Twitter v. Musk case, the billionaire entrepreneur has until this Friday to close the $44 billion acquisition of Twitter deal. Earlier this month, Judge McCormick ruled that the Elon Musk vs. Twitter trial will be put on hold so that the two parties can work out a deal. It is also rumored that Musk will meet with all Twitter employees this Friday. Speculations are running high as it has been reported that Musk could fire up to 75% of the staff.

Meanwhile, Musk updated his Twitter profile to “Chief Twit.” (And that’s no joke!).
