Biden’s Latest Stunt Is Backfiring In a Major Way (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden, 50 days before the midterm election upon which his presidency depends, used his first 60 Minutes interview to declare, “the pandemic is over.”

The shocking (because of the obvious) remark comes as Democrats hope for a wave of enthusiasm driven by so-called “abortion rights” and the latest attacks on President Trump.

“We still have a problem with Covid,” Biden continued. “We’re still doing a lot of work on it…but the pandemic is over. if you notice, no one’s wearing masks. Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape. And so I think it’s changing.”

The timing is suspicious to say the least, reeking of being a desperate attempt to declare ‘Mission Accomplished’ in the hopes of averting electoral disaster in November.

The President generated negative feedback from fellow Democrats including from Medhi Hasan, an MSNBC host, who went as far as to call the president a liar.

Hasan tweeted, “One of the (many) reasons they’re not wearing masks is because people like Biden keep (falsely) telling them the pandemic is over.”

The progressive Democratic Attica Scott, state Representative for Kentucky, wrote, “You don’t get to just declare a global pandemic over, Mr.@POTUS.”

Nina Turner, a previous democratic Senator for Ohio was also not happy with Biden’s statement. “The pandemic isn’t over,” she stated. “We are over the pandemic. The pandemic is not over with us. Big distinction.”

Republicans also responded negatively to the claim, mainly because of the glaring hypocrisy and self-interest at play.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a decorated military veteran, expressed a similar line of concern, writing, “Biden declared the pandemic is over. So, when will he let those discharged from the military due to vax mandates return to protecting our country?”

Conservative media star Jack Posobiec highlighted why Biden’s remark may have been a huge mistake politically, writing, “If the pandemic is over we can end universal mail-in voting immediately Thanks Joe Biden!”

Biden, who turns 80 in November, provided ‘60 Minutes’ with the first serious response relating to concerns over his health.

“Watch me,” he replied initially before going more in-depth. However, he seemed to seriously misstate a common term of phrase during his response saying, “The proof of the pudding is in the eating.” According to Dictionary.com, that variation has not been commonly used since the beginning of the 1900s.
