Another Preacher Arrested: WATCH

In Watertown, Wisconsin, law enforcement arrested a young man over the weekend, charging him with “unlawful use of sound amplification and resisting arrest.”
The video below shows him being arrested while quoting from Galatians 5:14-15: For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you do not consume one another.

The young man arrested in the video is Marcus Schroeder, who later spoke with the conservative outlet, The Sentinel, including Jason Storms, who recorded the viral video.

Schroeder, a member of Mercy Seat Christian Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin, attended a demonstration alongside approximately 200 individuals from various groups protesting a drag show.

Of note, Wisconsin law explicitly prohibits “causing a child to view or listen to sexual activity.” Storms shared that several dozen police officers assembled to protect the drag queen event, during which performers dressed in lingerie were seen “dancing and gyrating in front of little children, who were invited to give them one dollar bills.”

It is not known at this time whether the amplification issue violated a legitimate ordinance.

However, this is not the first time street preachers have been arrested.

On June 3rd, 2023, in Reading, Pennsylvania, 41-year-old Damon Atkins was arrested for criminal misconduct as he began reciting a Bible verse at a local Pride event. The charges were dropped soon after.
