Christian Nationalism or Christian Patriotism?

I thank God for you members of the Underground.

My son Carl and I just landed in Tokyo and gearing up for four more hours to Taipei. We were both hit with physical disorders on the plane, but we pushed thru.

I’m back in the New York Times this week and think this “Christian Nationalism” theme is going to be where the looney left comes after us. Might be smarter to rephrase this as a “Christian Patriotism.”

This year will be a test for us as we watch the impish glee of leftist media outlets criminalize the President and surround him to destroy him. I for one have decided to push back more aggressively. These anti-Trump liberals are thin-skinned and will come at me but so be it. A false sense of civility and Christian niceness is killing us. They don’t respect us more because we’re “nicer.” To put a backbone into the nervous conservative while winning the unpersuaded middle will require of us multiple approaches. If we are successful, the Left will attack. If they attack, we will have publicity. It’s a rough deal, but that’s the way it will be. This is how you do warfare in the media mountain.

Taking off now, four more hours of flying.
