Mysteries about divine rewards and the next life revealed here

Lance: Don’t touch the dial, because something I got to tell you right now. God has set up a divine appointment for you to be able to get a preview of the age to come. The power of the age to come. The way that you deal with the stress of this life is to actually look at the reward of the next life. And when you see the joy that is set before you regarding what you’re building, what you’re accomplishing, it ministers to you the ability to go through anything right now. I’m telling you; God has the ability to present you faultless before his throne with exceeding great joy. I’m going to talk about 6 or 7 secrets in the about the rewards that God gives those who are faithful in this life. There are rewards in heaven because the Bible I’m going to teach you. You could suffer loss.

There’s a judgement by fire. Apostle Paul talks about the fire’s going to test everyone’s work and you could suffer loss. You don’t get, you won’t lose your salvation but what is it that you suffer loss of? I’m going to show you what you could suffer loss of so that you get a picture of it and it’s so clear. You’re going to want to pay whatever price to be able to go into eternity with the full reward. Behold, I’m coming quickly and my rewards are with me to give to every one of you according to your works. The last thing Jesus said must be an important thing Jesus said. I want the rewards to motivate you. Watch this special program, this special teaching on the rewards of obedience and it’s going to excite your walk with Jesus. Let’s get into it.

Well, this is a special broadcast I do late at night though. I film it a little earlier in the day for you Daystar people and I play it there on Facebook and on Rumble and other places but you get to see it first there in Daystar. So, I’m thinking about you right now focusing on you. All you late night people that are up flipping around the dial. Hey, who’s that guy? Well, I’m wearing some bright clothes to wake you up because the next half hour is going to be dynamic, dynamic, dynamic. Now, last week, I was talking about things that you don’t normally hear in church and it has to do with the rewards. Jesus says, I’m coming quickly and my rewards are with me. Well, what are the rewards? Is this going to be like everybody’s like in America right now, conservatives and Christians like woke thing is all communism and socialism. You know what that is? Everybody’s equal. Diversity, equity, inclusion. So, you got nothing we’re going to give you the same amount of money. Everybody gets the same. Everybody’s going to be the same thing.

Well, I think that carries over a lot of Christians when they go to heaven. They think everybody’s the same. It’s all going to be the same. Diversity, equity, inclusion. No. It’s not the same. In fact, Jesus says, I’m coming and my rewards are with me. Be an interesting study to see rewards because the rewards is something you don’t hear about because we all like to think, well, we’re all going to heaven. That’s a reward enough. Now, maybe not. Maybe there’s something else that is an incentive that can help you to get even a little bit more focused. For instance, a star differs from star and glory the apostle Paul said regarding your resurrection body. So is it in resurrection. I think they’re very well maybe. Different capacities for glory in the resurrection body. For instance, I talked last week and you got to watch this again to see it. I went down to Revelation. I said, come on now. There’s Revelation. I’ll go to the whiteboard in a minute with my glass board over there and I’ll illustrate it again but here’s the basic idea. You go to alright;we’re going to go. I’m going to stick my pen here in Hebrews.

Go to the last chapter in the Bible. Got your Bible with I hope you do. Get your Bible out. If you don’t have one, grab one. Find one. Get a pen. Mark it up. I got Bibles all there. I got three Bibles right here. I think I have the same translation now. It’s American Standard here. I mark up all my Bibles because whatever God shows me, man. I just always, I leave a trail behind. Now, it says here in the last book of the Bible, Revelation 22:12. “And behold, I come quickly and my reward is with me to give every man according as his work shall be”. That’s kind of interesting language there as his work shall be. Sounds the most future tense. I don’t want to confuse anybody but I really think he’s rewarding your earthly works with heavenly works, but what you do up there shall be based upon what you did down here. Did you know that? That your ongoing assignment in eternity is connected to your obedience, your assignment down here.

It’s a fascinating subject. I’ve read these books from people that have gone to heaven and people continue in heaven in that realm up there and that continue in the passion of the gifting and the longing and the design of God here. If you’re, imagine this, if your joy and delight is worship and writing and composing, do you think God‘s going to make you heavenly bricklayer? You’re going to be composed with the angels. You’re going to continue on in that throughout eternity with even greater celestial symphonies coming out of you. If that’s your passion and your calling,you continue there. It’s interesting. Just bear with me now. “Behold, I’m quickly”. And in the American Standard says, “And my reward is with me to render to every man according to what he has done”. There’s your past tense but his work shall be. It’s what’s written in King James. I’m telling you, what you, your reward here affects your destiny there but there’s a reward. I know this bothers people.

It’s amazing how this offends the socialist Christian Gospel which is like, well, we’re all saved by faith. Yes, it’s all by grace. Yes, and there’s no difference between us. God loves us all equally. Yes, but the rewards are different. Sorry, that’s what Jesus is teaching. Paul pretty much makes it there that there’s rewards based upon faithless and it makes sense, right? So, the dying thief on the cross gets to the same heaven, gets the same gift of eternal life, gets lived forever, gets forgiveness. Well, right there man is that’s enough, but that’s not the same as the apostle Paul who suffered stonings in beating who went through like 40 years of turmoil and imprisonment and deaths often in order to be faithful in order that he might have a better reward I think. And obviously to serve God he did it with all his heart. But he knew and expected that there was a judgement and that there was an accounting, and that’s what he said. “Lest I should be embarrassed when I appear before Jesus. For the work lest I bestowed labor in vain”. Because you actually are presented in the judgment seat with the company that you were assigned to that you’re responsible for your, I think generations are judged almost like in that mystical way.They’re all judged the same time.

And in other words, your peers and your fruit is going to testify. The things that you’ve done will be there to testify and likewise, you’ll testify to the fruit of others and how they blessed you and serve you. There’s something mysterious about how Jesus is going to do the judgement but everything you’ve ever done has a moment of the eyes of Jesus or a flame of fire going through it. Burning up what works of the flesh and separating what’s gold and silver and precious stones and worthy of recognition. I want to get this in you. “Behold, I’m coming quickly my rewards. I really believe that one of the rewards is blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and they may enter through the gates into the city”. It could be going to blow somebody’s mind here. But he’s saying that those that are doing his commandments have access to something in the next age.

What if you’re in the presence of Jesus and he’s a nuclear explosion so strong in his unveiled glory that unless you have a glorified body, it’s uncomfortable. Have you ever gone out in the into the sunlight? My wife and I sometimes will go off in these go to the Caribbean. So, alright? Schedule go to the Caribbean but you walk out outside of that dark room where you’re sleeping and going ah the sunlight is like it’s so bright at the equator. Well, what if going to Jesus’presence is actually something which if he unveils himself, you don’t have the ability to handle it, because it may be that one of the rewards is that servants have proximity to him in his full unveiled majesty and others are not able to be that. And when he unveils it to be that in that level of intimacy.

His rewards are with him and evidently, he’s saying that there’s an access to the city that is one of the rewards. I’m going to I’m going to back this up for a second and I’m going to jump over to the powerful message of the Believer’s Edge. Why do we want to exert? I just want you to see the rewards is what drives us to intimacy with God. If you thought the proximity to Jesus in eternity, in the administration of his affairs is a reward because what is the biggest reward you can have? It’s Jesus. It’s being able to serve in his government and he has a kingdom that will be without end and of the increase of his government, it will never end. Are you tracking with me here?

Take a look at this verse, verse 21. Last week I talked, there’s three levels of glory. There’re three levels of the of heavenly assignment. There’s those that live in the city. It’s called the bride, the lamb’s wife, or the son that serves him or his servants whose name is in their forehead and his name is in their forehead who see his face. It says that specifically if you want to see, what that is? It’s Revelation 22 verses 3 & 4. “There are those who going to see and be right there in his unveiled glory as he’s on his throne. Then there are those that are going to be citizens of the earth”. Because it says over here I know people don’t think about this stuff, but it says in verse 24 of chapter 21. “The nations of them that are saved, it says, walk in the light of the city. And the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into the heavenly city”.

So now you got the people out of the nation’s walking in the light of the city. That’s the citizens of the New Earth. Then you got kings that have dual passports. They can go from earth to the city and into the city back to earth. And what do they do? Well, they bring the glory and honor of the nations and what they’re doing into the city. And display it. It’s kind of fascinating what this next age is going to look like. And then there are those who are in chapter 22 verse 3 & 4 and say, “They’re just his servants who are actually in the city that see his face unveiled and his name is in their forehead”. So, I would propose to you that there are dwellers of the city. There are kings that come to the city, but are administrating and ruling upon the nations of the earth and then there are the citizens of the new earth that walk in the light of the city. And perhaps this is something to do with the glory of the resurrection. Perhaps this is different resurrection levels of glory. And the resurrection reward is commensurate with the quality of the judgment that you have.

Now you’re there are those who’ll be saved as by fire. I should really find that verse. Carl if you got my sons here with me. Look up the verse, “Saved as though by fire”. I think it’s in Corinthians. The apostle Paul’s talking. I better show that because it doesn’t everybody who has the blood of Jesus get saved. The dying thief in the cross. This is what gives me comfort. For all those people that I’ve led to the Lord that it’s like deathbed confessions except Jesus now before you die and they said this sinner’s prayer. I believe they made it. Last minute. Not much reward though. They live their life for themselves. Is that make sense?

Alright, what do you got there, son? First Corinthians 3:13, really? Oh, 3:15. Alright, folks. Get your Bible. First Corinthians 3:15. See if I’m preaching heresy or the word of God. Let’s start here with verse 11.” Now, no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid which is Jesus Christ. Now, if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones or with wood, hay, or straw. Each one’s work will become clear for the day will declare it because it will be revealed by fire and the fire will test each one’s work of what sort it is. For which all appear before the judgement seat of Jesus Christ”. And the Bible says, “Hidden that has his eyes as a flame of fire”. Book of Revelations. I believe Jesus’s eyes are going to go you’re going to meet him and he’s going to go through your life.

Now it’s the love of God that brought you to heaven and God wants you to have a reward and he’s not trying to look in order to find fault. He’s going to burn through the things that are wood hands double things that are motivated by your carnality, by your flesh, by your ego, being misled thinking it was God it wasn’t and then there’s the gold silver stones. What’s that? You always see bulk. Hay is in bulk. This little ring here is gold. The works that we’re really doing that have eternal value. They’re precious but they’re not as bulky. “It will be revealed by fire to test each one’s work of what sort it is and if anyone’s work which he has built on and endures”.Oh, there it is. He receives reward. Passes the test of Jesus. What is Jesus’ testing? The motives of your heart.

That’s where the days when the big tent revivals. When they’d have my tent’s bigger than the other guys said the world’s largest tent what they do is they stretch out the tent peg 6 inches more than Earl Roberts and Jack Coe would say I got the world’s biggest tent. Well, that was all competition. That was carnal, that was flesh. I don’t care if Jack Coe filled that tent. There’s an aspect to the bigger meetings. More fruit. More people saved. Not more reward. Meanwhile this little lady over here that’s the intercessor. It’s praying for the salvation. Praying for the miracles. And she’s binding devils and loosen stuff. God sees her. She’s up there at the judgement. Oh, and she’s got a greater reward than the big preacher. Big preacher had the gift but he was motivated by the wrong thing. The prayer warrior had the gift. Smaller gift, more modest gift, leveraged 100%. The heart was gold, more reward.

“If anyone’s work has been built on endures, he will receive reward. If anyone’s work is burned, oh look at this you don’t hear preach much, you suffer loss”. What do you suffer loss of? Will you suffer loss of the reward? There must be something over there you lost. “If anyone work is burn. He’ll suffer loss but he himself will be saved”. Why? Because you don’t work to get to heaven. Your work once you’re saved because your obedience has a promise of a reward. Hope you get this. “If anyone’s work is burned, they suffer loss. There’s a loss but he himself will be saved yet so as by fire. Do you not know that this you are the temple of God and that the spirit of God dwells in you”?

Paul’s teaching something here but I just want you to see I’m not making stuff up here. I’m giving you actual Bible. Alright, so I want to go back over here and say that, “The nations of them that are saved. Verse twenty-four chapter twenty-one, there’s nations, citizens of the New Earth. There’re kings that bring the glory and the honor into the city but it doesn’t look like they live in the city. Looks like they visit the city. Then we got people that are dwelling in the city that are right there at the throne of God serving him”. I can show you other verses like this and I believe that they live there and they go to the earth and they go to whatever planets God has or whatever God has. Who knows? We can’t read into it. All we know is the age to come is going to be the galaxy is going to be filling with of God because of the increase of his kingdom. There will be no end. So, something’s going to happen. It’s going to expand.

Well, I love this. Now I have a friend of mine that teaches that the Bible says in chapter 22 verse 2 that the healing the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of nations. And he says that this eternal life. But that there’s going to be the need for the healing on that earth level. And that the leaves will provide the healing and that in other words you there will be no more death. No more sickness. But somehow there’s this healing of nations implied by verse 2. The leaves are healing things. So, there’s a property there that ministers to the resurrected body of the citizens of the earth. So anyway, I’m starting off in verse 21, a new heaven and new earth and that first one passed away and God wants you to be an overcomer. He wants you to be in verse 7. “Him that overcome shall inherit all things. I’ll be his God; he’ll be my son”. And the overcomers are also called in verse 9, “The bride, the lamb’s wife”.

So, you got three metaphors there, right? God‘s giving you hints, giving you code. He’s saying, over comers, bride, son, that’s the people that I was teaching. Remember there’s 30-fold, 60-fold, and 100-fold. I know socialist Christians don’t like me teaching this but there’s different degrees and it gives you kind of an excitement when you think about that. Whoo. Lord, I’m pressing in. I want to be where you are and I want to be right there where you’re at. Now, there’s a verse there it talks about a special company that we believe, Gordon Lindsey believed this when the apostle Paul said when he was possible talked about that he had his hope set on a certain reward that he was going to have and I believe it’s from Colossians.

Paul refers to that and Gordon Lindsey, the great Bible teacher here at Christ of the Nations. Said, he believed that the apostle Paul was talking about the company of Revelation chapter 13. Take a look at this. It says here or chapter 14 rather. It says here that, “I looked and low a lamb stood on Mount Zion and with him 144,000 having his father’s name written in their forehead.And I heard a voice from heaven as the voice of many waters is the voice of a great thunder. I heard the voice of harpers and harps. And they sung as it were a new song before the four beasts and the elders that no man could learn that song, but the 144,000, which were redeemed”. In other words, there’s a song only they understood and could sing that other people couldn’t sing. All the redeemed. Millions of people say, but 144,000 are uniquely rewarded with this what would is intimacy with God with a song that they sing that others can’t sing. “And these are they which were not defiled with women, for they are virgins and these are they which follow the lamb with us whoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men being the first fruits unto God”.

Oh, we got another word for them now. They’re overcomers, they’re the bride, they’re the son,they’re the first fruits company. First fruits company. Why don’t you start thinking about this? I know some people don’t like it I love it you know why because there’s 144,000 people here that follow the lamb. This is the lamb’s entourage. Wherever he goes, he’s got this traveling company with him. That says here, they weren’t defile with women, they’re virgins. What does that mean? Well, there you go. Some of you are married already or you’re whoremongering college so you’re disqualified. I don’t believe that’s what it’s talking about. When it talks about not defile with women, I think it means the counterfeit church. They won’t be defiled with the whore of Babylon. They will be defiled by the counterfeit that as the Bible refer is the Harlem of Babylon.

In other words, I believe this is an end-time company that comes through the great testings of those days and they are not defiled and they don’t lose their virginity. Which means they keep their spiritual womb closed to Satan and every offer that he has. They keep their purity devoted to Christ. That’s the bride. The bride is a company whose hearts are like a womb is closed to every other solicitation and only a to the bridegroom. Only open to the will of God. They will only do that which is born of the spirit. Does that make sense to you? And they’re the first fruits under God.

Well, follow the land with us wherever he goes, right attorney. Gordon Lindsey said, he believes that special company exist. Well, there’s more the rewards. Mysteries are in here. The Bible talks about them in different places. You’ll find this. I find this stuff very interesting. Once again, get your Divine Appointment material. Looking for those divine appointments. Alright, I want to get into the most important thing that I can say and I’ve only got a few minutes to say. Let me get into it fast. And it’s going to be on another word on top of the overcomers the first fruits we know what first fruits is or the first part that ripens on a tree. The bride, the son who serves him. All these are metaphors and language for the company of that God wants you to be among that is the rewards are with him. And these are the highest levels of maturity you could say that is attainable for the believer. But there’s another word that is very important. It’s called the “first born|”. Because remember years ago, I don’t know if you’re around like this but I remember so much teaching about the double portion, the double portion everybody in time outpouring because here’s the theology of it. It’s totally valid.

Joel prophesies in the last days, I will pour out my spirit on all flesh whose sons and daughters are going to prophesy or old men are going to dream dreams, young men see visions, alright? Totally make sense and I will pour out of my spirit in those days. The former rain and the latter rain in the first month. Slow down. Former rain in Israel was the rain that prepared the harvest. The latter rain is the rain that brought the harvest to completion and God says, oh I’m going to pour it out together. Former rain and latter rain. You’re going to get a double rain. This theme of double portion is in the Bible. Elisha running around with Elijah. Elijah says, time for me to go. Elijah says, “I got a request”. And his mentor, his spiritual father said to him, “Ask of me before I leave, what do you want?” He said, “I want a double portion of what you got”. I love that attitude. I wish I had young men around me that had that kind of devotion that could say, hey, I see you got something Lance. I want twice that on me.

Sometimes I can’t even give it away. Elisha says, “I want twice what you got”. Elijah goes, “Whoo. Boy, I trained you right. You’re go bigger, go home. That’s your motto. Tell you what, you’ve asked a hard thing, young man. You’ve asked a hard thing and all I can tell you is if you see me when I go, you’ll get it”. And then the weirdest thing is, Elijah tries to get him off his trail. He tries to stumble at me. He says, “Hey, stay here”. Elisha goes, “What are you about. You told me I got to be with you to get that double portion”. Elijah goes, “I really, he’s almost tempting him to see if he’s made of the right stuff”. This will give you a different attitude towards the trials and test you go through. How do you know it’s not a cosmic ordeal where God says, “Go ahead. See what he’s made of”. The devil goes, “I’ll make him stop. I’ll distract him. I’ll get him off track”. Somehow the Lord says, “Alright, go ahead”. And you hit that test and you go, I’m not getting distracted. I’m not going after this. I’m not going to I’m going after what God told me. Boom. The Lord says, “He’s qualified. Give it to him”.

I’m just saying that there’s some justification from what I’m teaching right now in the Bible. But the particular part that I want you to get is we’re going to be going to Hebrews chapter 11. And oh, this is going to be a lot of fun, because we’re going to go into the church of the first born because the Bible says, “The first born get the double portion”. The firstborn get the double portion. I’m going to tie this all together in my theology. I say the double portion people. The firstborn is not going to be everybody. But there again like I said my rewards are with me. One of those rewards is in the last days. I want to be in a position for God to give me the fullness of the outpouring of the spirit. I want to be a double portion person. When this Joel thing happens and it gives me great confidence that I’ve got this prophetic box over here. I’ve got all the cast of characters that in my opinion destroyed America and messed it up while the church is trying to figure out what it’s going to do with politics and government and woke culture.

God is raising up a company in the midst of it. He’s testing and qualifying and that’s you right now my friend. You’re being raised up. God‘s preparing you for a double portion outpouring.
