Is this spirit troubling you?

Lance: Welcome, welcome my friends to this very special edition of the Lance Wallnau Show. We film this one especially for Daystar where we’re on at 1 AM. We are the early service Sunday morning at 1 AM in the morning. I like my Late-night Rants and even this one’s going to be showing up at a certain ideal hour and what’s amazing is people are watching it. I don’t know if it replays at other times or people maybe record it, but thank you for all the feedback we’re getting. Tonight, it’s a very special message. Do you know that one of the characteristics of spiritual attacks is insomnia? And I found that there are times when the spiritual activity at the nights is really there’s a lot of you could say demonic things that the nightmare for instance. Where did that word come from? Well, the nightmare would be the night spirit that would bring the troubling dreams and things. 

Now the Bible promises that God sets his angels around about you and your sleep should be sweet. But I want to talk to you about what you have to do proactively to create the environment for yourself that envelops you with the anointing so that you can go to war and you can rest.Because if you’re worn out with your warfare and you don’t get adequate rest. I’ll tell you one of the number one things that they’ll tell you in any kind of leadership training is you don’t make quality decisions when you’re in distress and you don’t make quality decisions when you’re tired.So, the Lord gives his beloved sleep and sleep is where the dreams come. I want to talk to you how to have God‘s dreams and even if the warfare seems to be going on, I’m going to show you how to cover your situation so that you can have the blessing of God and I think we’ll have a chance to demonstrate how that works.

Now, I’ve been working with this series recently on Leviathan. One of the interesting things is I recorded this when I first heard about how the spirit operates. I’ll never forget the revelation of how it’s referred to in the Bible and in various chapters. I’ll tell you one of the references that I want to go to now is go to Isaiah chapter 27 for instance. I think I might have a translation here which would be the King James as well as I’ve got the New American Standard. I have so many different Bibles with me that it’s sometimes as challenging for me to be able to have exactly the version I want for every verse. But let’s go to Isaiah chapter 27 verse 1 and take a look at in the King James. “In that day the Lord with his sword and great and strong sword with his severe sword great and strong will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent”.

Now the King James, the old King James had the language, “Shall punish Leviathan the piercing serpent”. So, you have the pier serpent, the living translation says that this is a swiftly moving serpent. Why are there so many different translations as to how this spirit is. This spirit of Leviathan is a spirit that is moving. It is fleeing. It is a twisting spirit and it’s a piercing spirit. I want to talk to you about how it operates. “In that day, the Lord will punish Leviathan, the fleeing spirit”. It says here in American Standard. “His fierce with his fierce and great mighty sword even Leviathan the twisted serpent. And he will kill the dragon who lives in the sea”. Mysterious language here but for those who deal with spiritual warfare, we know that there’s realms and hierarchies and spiritual forces. The Bible talks about layers of spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.

Satan of course rules over the earth but he rules over it by dispatching a very tight governmental system and you’ll see that what happens when that demon is come down into society, it mirrors itself in a very tight totalitarian system. I have to tell you that recently revelations on FBI corruption, Department of Justice Corruption, executive branch corruption and then media not reporting it and then the schools and the academics that are shutting down freedom of speech and twisting the new Marxist agenda, the LGBTQ doctrine and teaching and doctrination and then corporations such as target and various other companies that are pushing the agenda. What we’re talking about here is the business mountain, the education mountain, the government mountain, the media mountain, and oh my gosh, it’s what I’ve been preaching for years which is the seven mountains or the 7 structures where the gates of hell want to set up shop on planet Earth and when that structure, when Satan’s structure comes down, it has demonic control, intimidation, manipulation over your mind, over your life. It controls you.

That’s what totalitarian states do and this twisting serpent twists your words and so you’ll see a quote for instance when we talk about loving your nation. Oh, nationalist. Well, nationalist is nothing more than someone that loves the nation. Oh, you’re a nationalist. It’s twisting words constantly in order to create stripe. It’s a dragon. It’s this high-level principality and I’m going to show you. We’re going to come back to this chapter 27 in a second. I’m going to show you how to deal with it and it’s an interesting technique that I’m going to show you to deal with the spirit.But how many of you know whispering spirits can be talking against you and multiple voices can be at work. I want you to go to Psalm 73. Psalm 73 and this how to break the control of that Leviathan spirit, that twisting serpent that will try to confuse communication, divide relationships, spread discord, pierce your heart with wicked words, and Psalm 73 and it says here, look at verse 12-14.

Psalm 73 verses 12-14. “Behold, these are the wicked always at ease when they have increased in wealth”. “And surely in vain David says, I’ve kept my heart pure. I wash my hands in innocence”. “For I’ve been stricken all day long and chastened every morning”. “If I said, I’m not going to speak thus, behold, I would have betrayed the generation, the children”. This is so true. If you hold back your voice, if you don’t say what you know, if you don’t take a stand, you’re betraying the next generation because you’re caving in to the intimidation, the manipulation. But if you take a stand and speak, He said, “I will speak. Behold, if I don’t speak, I’ll betray the generation of the children. And when I ponder this, it was troublesome in my sight”. “Until I came into the sanctuary of God, until I entered into the sanctuary of the living God”. And what he’s talking about here is how our words, the enemy will try to intimidate us into not speaking what we need to speak. But then David says, “I went to the sanctuary and I perceived their end. Surely, they are set in slippery places”.

So, we see the lesson. We have to get into the presence of God. We have to somehow to find the courage to speak, to deal with the spirit that is trying to pierce us and divide us and twist our words. We have to enter into the anointing. And when we do that, we are actually putting ourselves in a place where that spirit cannot easily get a hold of us. Yet God is my king. Psalm 74 verse 12. David continues to worship God. “God is my king from of old, who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth”. God wants to deliver you and your household. From strife. He wants to deliver you from the strife of tongues. He wants you to have a prayer strategy right now that will silence the gossiping spirits that then sometimes you can enter into place. And if you’re me prophetically where you can almost hear the slander in the atmosphere that comes against you. The words that are against you and where they have effect on you as if they’re uttered from believers who in a sense Satan is using their accusations to kind of like splatter when you’re driving on with in Texas or Florida at night you got to go through the bugs. They’re hitting your windshield. They’re not hitting your face, but they’re coming at you and you got tokeep cleaning that windshield wiper off and bug splattered. You’re picking up on stuff around you.

David had that intensely surrounding him. “Yet, God is my king from of all who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth”. “You divide the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the water”. What’s he talking about? Remember the dragon I just talked about? In the waters. This is the spirit is talking. The spirit is almost referring to the Holy Spirit is talking about a whole level of atmosphere around us like an ocean and Jesus said, you should make fishers of men. People are like fish. You’re in the great ocean in a sense. It’s a metaphor for the environment. Only it’s a different environment. You’re in the air environment but the spirit is almost like swimming around in the atmosphere. And the Lord says that, “God divides the sea by his strength and breaks the heads of the sea monsters in the waters”. “You crushed the heads of Leviathan”. If you’ve got a pen, circle “heads”. “You gave him his food for the creatures of the wilderness”.

That spirit operates in the realm of media and communication especially because this is what screwed up America for so many years. We had a report came out from John Durham exposing the fact that we were lied to but these who were lied to through the media, the heads of Leviathan, all tearing at Trump and tearing at you to tear up the agenda to secure America. Now, somebody’s going to be upset with me. Well, Leviathan may have been talking to you about politics for years. It’s the first time you heard a preacher put it in spirit warfare language. But America’s trying to transition out and the spirit rises up and to show this discouragement. Don’t let that spirit discourage. I’m going to show you how to break it. God will crush the multiple heads coming from all these different angles. All these voices coming at you. It’s like I was just looking at Doctor Oct, was it Doctor Octopus? Doc Ock and Spider Man and he’s got all those tentacles coming at Spiderman. Well, that spirit has multiple voices and heads that are all snapping at you and when you go through the battle with Leviathan. It’s like that spirit’s talking to this person, talking to that person. You got to protect yourself. Well-meaning people. They’re called Job’s comforters.

When the devil got to Job, that spirit was talking through all his friends and his own wife was cursing him. I’m not saying your wife’s your problem. Get your wife on the same page. Hey, for all I know the husband’s the one that the wife’s praying for. The husband and wife can break that spirit. What do you do? I’m going to show you what you do. It’s a mysterious secret. Go back to Psalm 56 real quick. Are you guys tracking with me here? I’m telling you about the spirit of strife that in some new spirit, the confusion that comes over, the twisting of your words, the times when you can’t seem to say what you’re trying to say. Psalm 56 verse 3, “When I’m afraid, I put my trust in you”. David is making decrees declaring something. I’m going to show you a secret. “In God whose word I praise in God, I have put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can mere men do to me?” “All day They twist my words all day long. They distort what I’m saying. All their thoughts are against me. They attack. They lurk. They watch my steps. They wait to take my life”.

And what you reason why this crocodile is such an interesting picture because when Isaiah’s talking about the twisting serpent, it’s believed by most scholars that it’s referring to a creature of the Nile. I don’t have one here, but it’s under the water and then if you ever notice the way the crocodile works is it’s got its eyeballs above the water and then if when you see it and spot it, if you’re looking for it, it goes underwater. You will discern a spirit like this is in the atmosphere spirit working and then right about the time you discern, it hides. And then you turn away and there’s the stripe. There’s the bickering. There’s the sniping. There’re the voices. Then you turn around and go, what is that? And it goes underwater. That’s the way that spirit works.

Now, the way it twists. Catch this. When an alligator or when a crocodile wants to dismember, we got mister hippo here. What the crocodile will do, I don’t even have my crocodile. I’ll use a shark. What it will do is it will latch on to a limb. I use my hand. The spirit of life latch onto a limb and then if you ever see it like in the Nile, they’ll show you something like some adventure channel and all of a sudden that poor antelope or whatever is in the water is trying to get out and they’ll be the spinning cycle. Well, what happens is the jaws of the crocodile don’t have this ability to go back and forth like you and I have. It just clamps shut. That’s all it does. You can’t go back and forth. It just clamps. But when it clamps, it takes the full 600, 800 pounds of its strength and spin its body in a circle. Because it will spin and spin and spin and when it spins, boom it dismembers the limb. It’s got dinner. And then the of course the animal dies and it devours the rest of it.

The twisting serpent will take. Well, you said this. Well, you should ever have a couple here a couple’s fight but this is what you said. Well, you were upset and you said what you shouldn’t have said but you told me this. Well, I was upset when I said, hey, internet and media will just kill you over this. What did you say? Let’s play that soundbite again. The reality is that latches on to relationships and dismembers the body of Christ. You guys hear what I’m saying? Relationships that God put in your life can be dismembered from your life because of this serpent that is twisting.

Now, how do you deal with it, brother Lance? Well, that that’s where I want to go now. I just said you got to go up into the sanctuary of God when all day long they’re trying to twist your words and you feel like I don’t want to say anything. I don’t want to say anything. I’m not going to say anything. We had two dozen FBI agents just testified on the hill. And the FBI is punishing and persecuting anyone that blows the whistle on the FBI. Brethren, these things should not be happening. One of the key witnesses was asked, ‘What would you tell another man who wants to wants to come out and testify?’ He said, ‘I would tell him, don’t say anything.’ Pray must be a Christian. He said, ‘Pray long and hard about whether or not you’re willing to withstand the attack because they’ll punish you for exposing their corruption.’

Alright, Psalm 56. “When I’m afraid I’m going to put my trust in you”. “In God whose word I praise. In God I have put my trust. I shall not be afraid. What mere man can do to me”. “All day long they twist my words. Their thoughts against me are for evil”. But he says something. He says, “But in God I’m going to put my trust”. And notice Psalm 56. The heading of Psalm 56 is for the choir director. David sang his way. Psalms is a book of therapy. David literally is having a therapeutic experience with God and he writes out his battle and then he begins to sing out his own deliverance. This is what I want to talk to you about. Let’s go back to that Isaiah 27 where we started where it talks about that serpent and what it does and how it operates.

This Leviathan which is referred to by name is like a dragon. Well, it says, the Lord says, “In the day I’m going to punish Leviathan, that serpent, that fleeing serpent. God‘s going to use a fierce and mighty sword because Leviathan that serpent twisting, the twisting serpent he’s going to kill the dragon”. But I want you to see what is the Lord say as the strategy for the believer when God‘s going to do it. This is a high-level spirit. You just don’t go I bind you Leviathan; I’m coming against you. Strategy is actually the opposite. You have to hide yourself in the Lord and let the Lord come out with the sword of the word and deal with those. God‘s will take the heads multiple heads of Leviathan off. “Come my people”. Isaiah 26 verse 20. You need a Bible when I’m doing this. “Come my people. Enter into your rooms and close your door behind you”. Oh,this is interesting strategy.

Go into your worship center. Go into your prayer closet. Don’t go out and try to write your post, your Facebook post, defend yourself and go argue, get on the phone, and tell everybody that’s not what happened. This what happened. “Go into your room and close your door and hide for a little while. Until the indignation run its course”. “For behold the Lord is about to come out from his place”. You humble yourself. You go into the humility of God‘s presence. You wrap yourself in the song of deliverance. And the Lord comes out to punish the inhabitants of the earth. Look at the opening of Isaiah 26. “In that day this song will be sung”. I’m reading to you the strategy for Dealing Levi and it’s connected to worship. “In the day this song is sung, we have a strong city. We’ve set up walls and ramparts for security”. “Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter. The one that remains faithful and steadfast in mind will keep you in perfect peace”. The Lord says, “I’m going to keep you in perfect peace. Come away into your hiding place”.

Now watch this. By the way I’m talking about Leviathan. How to break that spirit? And I’m talking about breaking controlling spirits. You want to go to “Lancewallnau.com/Breakout”. Time to break out. Go to go to Psalm 22. I’m doing a lot of Bible but we need a lot of word. We have a word deficit in the body of Christ these days. I’m teaching but we’re going to come do a demonstration in seconds. Stay with me. Psalm 22 and then it says in verse 3, Psalm 22 verse 3. “You are holy you who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel”. Well, that’s a mysterious verse enthroned upon the praises of Israel. Go to Psalm 29. Will you please? Go to Psalm 29. We’re going in the Bible tonight. Psalm 29 verse 10. “The Lord sat as king at the flood. Yes, the Lord sits as king forever”. “The Lord will give Strength to his people. The Lordwill bless his people with peace”. Why is he sitting as a king with a flood? Remember where that Leviathan the fleeing serpent is? It’s a water creature. It’s a creature in the deep. It’s the dragon that’s in the oceans of the spirit world. It’s a big spirit. You don’t take it on directly. You hide yourself? You cloak yourself in the song. Isaiah said of deliverance. That’s the song of Isaiah 21verse 6. Take a look at this. I’ll show you how this works? So, here you are. You’re just doing your thing and all of a sudden, you got these weird attacks coming against you from multiple places and what they are is an accusation.

It’s an accusing spirit and it’s coming at you because remember, Leviathan has multiple heads. That means he’s got all kinds of ways that spirit is coming at to twist, to twist relationships, to twist things out of perspective. But what happens is, that spirit that is there, I’m going to go with green again. It’s a unifying spirit that is actually connected together. It’s an accusing spirit. It’s a serpent which has multiple mouths and it’s trying to devour you by speaking to people. Maybe even accusing you to yourself. I know watch this but what you do is you go into your closet. You don’t have to come out against the spirit. What you do is you enthroned the Lord.

Now, watch what happens. We got the Lord enthroned. There’s the throne and what you do is you start to worship God. You start to sing. You start to worship. I’m talking about how to deal with that, remember crossing over in transition. Many of you the Lord told me are transitioning to a new season and that spirit of Leviathan wants to stop you from making your Exodus out of Egypt or your entrance into your promise. What you do is you enthrone the Lord and what the Lorddoes is he puts an umbrella of cover. Why do we enthrone the Lord above the floods? Because when we worship God, what we do is we put God over the situation that we’re in, and when Godcomes over the situation, he starts to deal with the spirit. He takes that spirit and he himself starts to deal. He takes the sword and begin to carve up that spirit so that it becomes actually meat in the wilderness.

What does that mean? It actually strengthens you. Instead of you coming down under the authority of that accusing spirit, you don’t go at it. You go at the Lord. You focus on the Lord, I thank you. When Paul was in prison being beaten because of strife and accusation that Leviathan spirit had caused him to think that he was somehow an insurrectionist, a hate speech monger, a blasphemer. He got beaten as a Roman citizen him and Silas. But what did they do? The two of them very wisely, they sat together and they sang and they enthroned God over the injustice and what the Lord did was he came down, and bam he hit that spirit carved it up as they worship, set them free and souls were saved as a result and they walked out with deliverance. Not only that,but Paul had actually freed up the church in Philippi because they had to be careful what they did with his movement with his people. Because they just committed a civil crime against Paul and Silas. Because Paul said I’m a Roman citizen and what you’ve done is a criminal attack against the Roman citizen. You should be put in prison for that. They said, ‘Oh please, please, please, leave the territory. We’re sorry.’ He said, ‘Let me go visit my friends first.’ That’s victory my friends.

Alright, let’s do it. When this happens, we come to the Lord. We take the accusations. We lift them up to the Lord and say Lord, the enemy is at work but I bless. I will not defend myself at this moment. But I ask you to be enthroned over my family. Be enthroned over my work. Lordwould you come down? Would you allow me to enter into your presence? So that I could see from your perspective what’s happening.

And that my friend is where the worship comes in. You take your focus off the battle, off of defending yourself. You put your focus on him. O Lord, you’re beautiful. Your face is all that I see. For when your eyes are on this child. Your grace, it abounds to me. Doesn’t matter whether you’re pitch perfect. You sing right where you are. Paul had no piano. O Lord, you’re beautiful. Your face is all that I see. For when your eyes are on this child. Your grace, it abounds to me.Lord I pray right now for everyone hearing me that whatever their battle is, whatever their transition challenges. Let them know the presence of praise at the midnight hour. And when I’m doing well, help me to never seek a crown. For my reward is giving glory to you. Lord I pray in Jesus’ name. Let your grace begin to come down. Let your favor flow like a river. Be enthroned above the flood and lift my friends up right now. Lift them up right now. Draw forth your sword Lord against, those discouraging spirits, those accusing spirits and cause those voices to cease.We choose to bless and not curse. Bless and not curse.
