Four Proven Steps Out Of Darkness Into Absolute Clarity!

Lance: He marries Rachel and in verse 25 of chapter 29 it came to pass that in the morning when he woke up, he was in bed with Leah. Now, Leah in verse 17 was the unattractive sister of Rachel. He thought he was going to bed with the beauty queen and he woke up with the door prize but it was what he wanted. He finds out that his fathers-in-law deceived him that He is going to get Rachel, but Rachel is kind of like that analogy with the arrow being pulled back. Rachel is going to be an ultimate prize. Here’s how it goes. The dream maybe Rachel, beautiful girl over here. But what you start with in God is the distress of a contradiction. Many a person goes to Bible College. I don’t care where it is. IHOP, ready, whatever, Christ for the Nations and they want to be like a Heidi Baker or Bill John. They want to pre-seed, see people fall down. They want to see the anointing fall. They want to see the move of God happen and they end up going to the ministry. When they’re going to ministry, they can’t really get out there unless they have a church. They start pastoring a church and instead of having revival, they end up with counseling appointments. Because your next, your first, your Monday morning is going to be the marriage problem that’s taking place or the person who’s got a child. It’s not the revival you thought of. I know that because I did this for 20 years.

I heard the revival I wanted to go there. I heard the prophecies over my life. Nobody told me what I’m about to tell you now because this is the journey of entrepreneurial or career success in God. This is the journey of every Jacob who becomes an Israel. Every person who God‘s working on to form them into a success story. So, it starts off with the dream but the dream is always great. Here’s the vision I’ve got for my business. Here’s the vision I’ve got for my church. Here’s the vision I’ve got for my ministry but you have to be prepared for the shock which is the distress. The distress is necessary because everything that God releases is going to be tested before it’s prospered. So, if you hit this stage here and you say something’s wrong, the devil’s attacking me, I need intercession, I need prayer, or you run for a prophet or a prophecy or you run prematurely to some other resource to get you out of it. You don’t recognize this is the prophetic process. This is the process. It’s a nonnegotiable. Everyone I know who succeed can show me where this happened in their life.

So, the distress process kicks in but as you persevere through the distress process, you begin to develop character and competency and intelligence you didn’t have but it was latent. It was potential. It just needed to be incubated and catalyzed in distress. So that’s where the Bible says that what I say, “In the dark proclaiming the light”. Most people want to proclaim in the light. They don’t want to go to the dark. They want to a message that transforms lives. They never want to be in the dark together. But the dream goes into distress. Out of distress comes development and then suddenly you have demonstration and the limited time that I have right now, I can only pick one or two stories but the whole Bible is this pattern. Joseph, dreams, brothers are bowing down to him. He sees Rachel. He sees himself exalted. He sees himself as a mature young man in the flourishing fullness of favor and power and he tells it to his family. Boom, they put him in a pit, right?

Goes to the pit, from the pit he goes into Egypt has to learn a language, has to learn work in a field, has to do force labor. The whole time he’s there he’s trying to get out this is why this is important you understand this. Just because you’re in a prophetic process doesn’t mean you know it. You don’t know your prophecy fulfillment, how many if you’ve lived as long as I have, you’ll find out that almost all the prophecies God fulfill were fulfilled in a way that was different than you expected and it’s probably a better outcome than you thought. So, Joseph when he’s in prison, remember what Joseph tried to do when he was in prison? He interprets the dream in the butler and the baker and while he’s in prison, in this great development phase over here with his gifts and callings and talents and abilities, he is in the contradiction. Everybody said the word “contradiction”. Contradiction is the dark room where God develops the image of who you really are.

So, during the contradiction of him being in prison, he says to the butler, look, the baker ain’t going to make it out of here, you will. Contradiction is my wife had a dark room when we were dating the old school before digital. She would work with film and she had a fluid. She would put the negative into. The negative would go into the fluid and she called it the agitation process. And the film is called, oh that solution is called a developer. So, catch this. You put the negative into the developer and shake it and agitate in the shaking in the dark room with the developer, the image suddenly becomes a clear picture. This is the Bible process ought not the Christ to have suffered to enter into his glory. He tells the disciples and this is Jesus. Didn’t I have to go through? In the book of Hebrews it says, ‘Consider him when you’re going through trouble. Consider him who endured the contradiction of sinners against himself.’

The first people’s story that you’re hearing, this phenomenal narrative is the story of hundreds of years of contradiction endured until out of the agitation of the process. We’re seeing a season at the end of the ages when God says, will redeem that like 400 years my Jewish forefathers were in Egypt and then the generations that suffered never saw the justice but there was a generation that suddenly got the payback of 400 years of theft and when it came, they spoiled Egypt on their way out. You’re watching that story here. That’s why this fits the narrative of what the Holy Spirit is trying to talk to us about at a weirdly enough at a business conference. Not at a Reconciliation conference. Not at a prophecy conference. Praise God but a business conference. So, the dream goes into the distress into the developer in the dark room but then as you stick with the process, Joseph ends up saying, to the butler, get me out of here. I’m an innocent man. I’m a good Jewish boy. You know I’m legitimate. I shouldn’t even be here. I need to go back home. If Joseph had the power.

This is why problem with all the prophets that we’re prophesying wrongly about Trump that I’m in a controversy with right now. I introduced Trump to the prophetic community. I was the early responder on that one. Nobody liked the message. I said, hey, live with it. God wants Trump. Everyone else is a Christian. Huckabee’s a Christian. Ben Carson’s a Christian. Ted Cruz is a Christian. Marco Rubio and nice charismatic Catholic. Sorry we got one Heathen from New York. That’s the guy God likes. The message didn’t even sound right. But God was in the one person nobody expected.

My point is this, that in the prophetic process with Joseph, he wanted to get out of the process. I want to go home. Sometimes you don’t even know that God‘s in the process. If you back to the prophets. If you as Joseph had the power to prophesy yourself out of prison, you would have screwed up your whole nation. Because you would have gone home and what’s the first thing historically is going to happen after Joseph goes home to a really dysfunctional Doctor Phil family reunion. They put him in prison. The dad doesn’t know he thinks he’s dead. Now he says,I’m here complete family breakdown and worst yet the famine starts when he gets home. Now they’re all dying of starvation and they got a dysfunctional family. In other words, God didn’t give you the power to create the future through the office of your utterance just because say a thing doesn’t make it established unless God puts it in your mouth.

So, the mistake that a lot of prophets had was they saw what clearly made sense. God doesn’t want America getting flushed down the cosmic toilet right now. With all our prayers and all our intercession, all our fasting, all revival, revival, revival. Surely, we even saw the phenomena of a weird Trumpian moment there where a guy goes in there like Samson clubbing Philistines. Okay, maybe isn’t tidy but he’s doing the job. Why would God reverse all that and destroy an age? I understand the prophetic land but here’s the point. Even Joseph didn’t understand that he was a prisoner of a process and he did not have the power to alter what God was doing. Because if he did, he would’ve screwed up the whole beautiful plan God had. America is in a prophetic process is what I’m telling you, and you can’t make a change by decrees.

Lance: I wrote two books only two books I’m always amazed Bill has 10 books. He said,yesterday I’m so jealous. Everybody can write, but I can’t just pop books out. I agonize over a book. I rewrite it 20 times before it gets out. Then I don’t even read it myself because I’m not happy with the finished product. But I got two books and their best sellers over a hundred thousand each but I don’t push them because it could’ve been better. But here’s what I will tell you. Both books have one story. It’s about how to have a prosperous journey. According to the apostle Paul. He says to the Roman church as he’s on his way to Rome. He writes to them and says, “Pray that I have a prosperous journey to Rome”. Do you know what his prosperous journey look like? He’s on his way to Rome but he’s on board a ship with a bunch of knuckleheads that don’t listen to him.

He says, if I was you, I wouldn’t go. I’ll tell you what, you may not know me. I know I’m a prisoner on the ship. I’m a rabbi. It’s a long story but I’m going to tell you right now. The one thing I do have is I have very powerful perception skills and I’m telling you, if we leave now, we’re not only going to possibly lose the ship with all the cargo but we could lose our own lives. I wouldn’t leave. Just stay right here. Well, they have a vote. They had an election and the owner of the ship and the captain of the ship and the centurion and the sailors all got together they said,well, I don’t know about the fanatic in the basement but as far as we’re concerned its better ports than this, let’s go find one and it took off. A soft wind blew, a soft wind always blows when you’re going in the wrong direction. Off they go. Till they get seized by a 3-way perfect storm. Can’t get out of it.

Paul himself, his life is in jeopardy. The unsung hero and this is Doctor Luke who’s with him on nobody knows this but Doctor Luke is with him. What a faithful friend. He’s with him on this crazy ride. He could’ve got off. You know, is you sure this is a bad journey? This is going to be bad. I will all stay with you. What a friend. That’s the kind of Gentiles you want to hang out with. So, but basically the story is this. I don’t want to prolong the agony of the illustration. The reality is that they get lost. They lose everything on board the ship. The economy goes to pot. Strap yourself in Bessie. The economy’s going to go on the rumble seat. Then they themselves feel like their lives are in jeopardy, like they and at the moment when they can’t see a way out. The prophet that told them what was coming has Rome praying for a prosperous journey. He has a breakthrough while he’s fasting and praying, because his destiny is affected by being on their ship. An angel breaks through and says, “Paul, I got good news for you. The boss has made a decision. You have an appointment in Rome and my job is to deliver the package. So, you’re going to make it and God‘s going to give you everyone that’s sailing with you”.

This is an interesting distinction in the Bible. He was sailing with them into the chaos of their bad choices. The only way out is going to be divine intervention. God‘s going to give the intervention but now, they’re sailing with him. There’s a spiritual shift in the atmosphere and the authority structure changes. Now, they are on his ship. You catch this? This is going to be interesting moment for the church. When we go from coveting and complaining and prophesying and trying to explain why things aren’t working out the way they’re happening, to the point we recognize that we’re the only reason why America won’t go down. Because of God‘s unfinished assignment. You know why Paul didn’t go down every apostle Mardik died? I mean the cynical reality is Paul couldn’t drown on his way to Rome because he had an appointment to get beheaded in Rome what can I say. Just half kidding. He had a few more years left, but he’s going to die in Rome. But the fact of the matter is he’s not supposed to die now and not here. Why? Because he had a prophecy and Jesus appeared to him. You guys read the Bible? This is why the Bible count. This is why you ought to read it. He had a prophecy from Jesus when he was in Jerusalem. Jesus said to him, as you’ve appeared before me as you’ve spoken to the Gentiles. So, I’m going to take you now from the Jews to Rome.

Jesus told him he was going to go to Rome. Jesus put his face in the future. You see, prophecy is when God puts your face in the future and pulls you through the process to get to your destiny. But the prophetic process, the prosperous journey, well, they end up having the Lord shows them an island. They’re going to shipwreck on the island. The ship’s going to break up. Everyone’s going to swim to shore and they get to the island. Divine deliverance. The island is called. What’s the name of the island? Malta. Malta. Malta’s interesting. Malta is a Gentile Island. It’s a native island. Satan tried to destroy the man of God. He’s tried to sink the apostles so he couldn’t fulfill his destiny, but the apostle Paul persevered and persevering. He saved the ship. If he hadn’t been on that ship, two hundred and thirty people would have gone down. It would have been as a footnote in history. He wouldn’t even know about it, but Paul was on the ship so they didn’t go down because of the church that’s obeying God in the United States of America will be saved.

Now, you’re only half applauding because you’re not really sure what I’m talking about yet. These patterns are more reliable than prophecies, because prophecies are the prophets trying to work out what they think is happening. Like Joseph, my prophetic forefather, get me out of Egypt. I belong back with my family. Wrong. Stay in Egypt. You may not like where you’re at,but God put you here in order to deliver a nation. The church didn’t know the renewal project wasn’t for you to perpetually have a soaking session on the carpet. It was for you to be able to access the anointing of God to go into systems in order to termite the devil down from the inside out, but I’m sorry we taught you wrong. All of us, we taught you that the whole mystery of your calling is prophecy and some kind of personal supernatural experience and that everything will work out if you just go deeper and deeper and deeper into the pool and go higher and higher into the courts of heaven and know you’ll get there eventually if you got enough intercession. Doesn’t work that way. Not one businessman I talked to that has a prosperous kick the devil in the butt business believes that philosophy. They have intercession, they have prayer, they’re givers, but they also know there’s a whole system they have to engage in order to accomplish tearing down territory in this world system. That’s right. Does that make sense?

Paul gets to Malta. First thing that happens in Malta is it’s freezing cold, rain, wet, lousy circumstances but they’re alive. He’s collecting sticks. While he’s collecting, this is interesting, the apostle Paul, the mighty intercessory apostle Paul collecting sticks. He’s putting them on a fire and while he’s putting them on a fire, what happens? That’s why it pays to read the Bible. A serpent comes out because of the heat. Interesting. Whoever starts a fire in this move of God will find the viper will fasten on them. Whoever God uses to apostolically deliver this country from the contradiction of its own bad decision making is going to find itself vilified by media.Because the moment he got bit by the viper everyone on the island immediately looked at him and smeared his reputation as no doubt this man is some terrible criminal. The first thing they thought was, you talk about bad luck.

This weird group of people get salvage from a hurricane and they land on our island. They make it to shore this guy barely gets to shore and he’s killed by a viper. This is, he’s the most cursed guy I’ve ever met in my life. This is the plane goes down and everybody gets out of the burning blade and this guy gets run over by the ambulance. So, he’s got an audience. Paul knows it. Bible says, he shakes off. I love the attitude he has. It’s like, hey, what a life. Everything he does. What adversity but he knows, the Lord told them, I’m going to show you how much pain you’re going to endure for my name’s sake. You’re going to love this call I got for you. It’s like, oh here we go again. He shakes the viper off into the fire and they’re following him. You got to understand a poisonous viper like this within about 2 to 3 minutes, your body starts to swell up because it numbs at your nervous system. You can’t walk and you start to explain your swelling, you fall down and die and the whole crowd is like watching him walk in parallel to him saying, this is him. He’s a loser. If I have to stay away, that guy’s cursed. That’s a curse if I ever saw him.

The Greek word says then they change their mind. It’s an interesting word in the Greek. It literally means the alchemy of their thinking shifted and they say, watched him and saw him waving, whistling. He knows what’s going on. God is giving him through persecution, through media, through adversity, a platform to preach from. He’s just got to endure the contradiction. And sure enough, they started saying to themselves, this is no normal human being. You see that viper? I saw the viper. Then what happened? He shook it off. Then what happened? He’s walking around smiling and winking at us. The chieftain of the island, the chieftain of the island, the tribal leader of the island as a father or father-in-law, dying of a bloody flux, tuberculosis being white froth coming out of his mouth. Who better to maybe do his magic than that guy that just landed on our shore, we got bit by the serpent he looks he’s one crazy looking rabbi guy? Does he do, can he do this for other people? Bring him in. Paul goes in lays hands on him. He’s healed.Now he’s rich the political mountain, the government mountain, the guy in charge of the island just had a supernatural healing. God didn’t give a supernatural deliverance on the ship. Everything looked natural.

Sometimes God is moving in a supernatural way that looks very natural. Welcome to the business world. In the business world, a lot of your miracles the way God works are going to look very you a secular person would say, well, it’s quite obvious that you had an island. You’re fortunate that your ship broke up. You’re only 200 yards ashore, so that’s how come you lived. In other words, the natural mind has an explanation but it was God that did it. Well, now it’s time for the supernatural. Now, God‘s going to show up in a way that is irrefutably supernatural. There’s no natural explanation. Paul lays hands on the guy. He gets healed. Now, the whole island is having a revival. Everybody’s getting healed. They’re listening to what Paul is just saying. You got to think, what’s going through the mind of those people on board the ship who wanted to kill Paul because when the ship broke up, the Roman soldiers We’re going to kill every prisoner. It was the centurion in charge of Paul who stopped them from killing the prisoners. Why would they kill prisoners? Because in Rome, if one prisoner escapes, you jeopardize your life for what got away. So, you’d be better off killing the prisoner than take a chance and one of them running.

Hey, man. Once you get to that beach in the middle of the night, he’s off for the hills. But the centurion said, “Don’t do it”. Which tells you something. Government isn’t necessarily your enemy. Paul’s relationship with the government was what saved his life. Then Paul having a supernatural solution for a foreign government was what opened up that nation of the gospel which is why I wanted to say to you. Probably more than anyone else so that it could apply to other people. Seems to me that God has given your story favor so that you could take it. Of course, you want to do it for your people but God‘s that’s it. Pardon me for saying it but that’s a small part of the picture. What God‘s doing is he’s giving you the resources and the ability to go to Malta and other places where they desperately need to have solutions to problems so you open up other territory to the gospel.

So anyway, At the end of the day, Paul’s in charge of the island. He took over the ship. He took over that. Here’s my point. Satan wanted to kill him. Satan wanted to sink him. But he persevered through a contradiction because he was in alignment with the prophetic assignment. God had already called him to go in that direction so therefore he wasn’t trying to create a future. He was walking in a future that was preordained. And because he was obedient to go where God wanted him to go to fulfill the calling that was on his life. What the devil meant for harm God converted for good just like with Joseph to do what? To add territory. The devil not only wasn’t able to sink Paul, you probably got 230 converts either that or there were some very stupid Gentiles on that boat after all this. A whole island with the apostle Paul being the apostle.

Now, he’s got a whole new calling. In other words, God will add to your territory what wasn’t even in the original blueprint if you can endure the contradiction with integrity. Those are the four phases of destiny. Those are the four phases of a business. There’re the four phases you go through and to make it even more clear. The reason why this is necessary is because when you start out, this is your skill. This is your passion. This is your vision. This is your ability. Want you to notice something. When your passion is high, I’m going to do this. I’m going to preach the gospel. I’m going to have a ministry. I’m going to do this. God shows you the end from the beginning. What he doesn’t show you is the process of getting there. That’s why you wake up with Leah and thought you had Rachel. I’m just telling you this is a very, very Jewish thing you’re entering right now in your life. This is God‘s process.

Your skill development starts down here. You don’t know what you’re doing. You’re going to rule the world. You’re going to be in the throne of Egypt. You’re going to be in charge of economies and agriculture and foreign lands. Your brothers are going to be in bowing down before you’re going to be able to have reconciliation. You have none of those skills right now. This is what you call in the technical language of what I learned from Bill McGrain. By the way, you ought to go to Bill’s training. I went to Bill every program Bill has. And so did my wife. His live training is phenomenal. One of the things I learned from him was at this level down here, you’re what you call an unconscious incompetent. What you don’t know is when God calls you, you don’t know what you don’t know. You don’t know under a vet the first time. Do you know there’s an art to taking an offering?

I’ve heard good offerings. I’ve heard bad offerings. I didn’t know I was doing bad offerings till I had to take an offering for Kim Clement. Kim flew in one night and I was pleased to be able to apprehend the prophet to come in. Everyone else wanted him, but I had favor with him and I knew it. I invited him to tent meeting in Providence, Rhode Island. He came in at his own expense, would raise up offerings to fund him and his ministry, his music team, Israel Houghton, a whole band, everything. I had the tent, everything set up and for me, the focus was the meeting and the supernatural and hearing the prophet. So, he leans over to me and says, “Why don’t you take an offering?” I said, “No problem”. I got up and I said, “Well, we believe that God blesses those who are Generous. God loves a cheerful giver and we know that God is doing something very unique right now and we all want to sow into that and give, I don’t want to take up any more time tonight from the prophet and so we’ll just go ahead and pass these offering buckets around. If you’re busy for the first time, don’t worry about it. We just want you to be able to experience God”.

I sat down next to him. He leaned over and this is the first piece of feedback he gave me, minister to minister. That was the offering I’ve ever heard in my entire life. That was the worst offering I’ve ever had in my entire life. Then, he goes beyond that to drive the spear deeper into my heart. He says, “I’ll be lucky if I can get out of here with my airfare by the time, I’m done with you”. Who knew that there was an art to an offer? Not people can do it poorly. Shake you down and you give, but afterwards there’s this aftertaste. You feel like you were somehow manipulated. But then I started listening to how Kim took offerings. Because I counted his offerings to give him the money. It was in my church. Phenomenal. My people could give much more for him than they were giving for me. I was an unconscious incompetent offering taker. The moment that I took one for Kim, I became distressful because now I became a consciously incompetent offering taker.

I’m aware that I don’t know what I’m doing. Never knew I didn’t know till he pointed it out. Then I started listening to him and Rodney Howard Brown. I listen to the people that got me to give. And I learned to develop. Before you know it, I’m now the Jew that everybody throws in the platform to take offerings once they find out I know how to take them. Because you go from unconscious incompetence to conscious incompetence where you know you don’t know, then you start to develop some conscious competency which means you practice, you concentrate. Here’s a sermon. Here’s an illustration. Here’s how to connect with an audience. Here’s how you disconnect. You start to practice and you learn from feedback. When you stop getting feedback, you stop developing mastery in any craft. When you stop being open to feedback, you stop developing mastery in any craft. You have now reached the peak of your competency which is fine. You could be an excellent performer but you never get beyond that. To go beyond it, you’re going to have to have a disposition that’s constantly open to incremental improvement, that’s where mastering comes from. What can I do a little bit better? How can I do it better? How can I do it more effectively? It’s a constant thing. So, these four phases. Conscious confidence. Thinking about what do I got to do? And then you go to the point of unconscious confidence. What’s unconscious? This is when you go into flow. Flow or the anointing is when you don’t have to think about it, because it’s an instinctive discipline. You don’t even you’re not trying to manipulate people. It’s just a flow.

So, there’s your four phases for your business. There’re your four phases for your life, four phases for and it wouldn’t be so bad if it happened once. In my estimation, you go through the process at least four times before you hit convergence. Convergence, what I work on is the science of this process. Becoming unstoppable. Most people quit when they hit the contradiction. When they hit this period here, they think something’s wrong. They keep going back to a prophecy to try to get them in a faster route to this. Like you just get hands laid on me. If I could just get away from this church, if I just go to another more, people pop around to more anointed ministries and they don’t recognize that you can’t accelerate a process that God‘s got you in. You just keep repeating the rinse and repeat cycle. You have to go through the process in order to come out on the other side. Is that make sense?

This dip here corresponds to, interestingly enough, it corresponds to the arrow being pull back in this direction. This is the boom. This is when the bow and the arrow. This is there or rather we got to do it the other way around. This is where the string pulls back. So, it’s happening is you’re going in this direction. This is when you’re being pulled in the opposite direction of where you want to go. That’s this experience but that’s the only place where you develop an awareness of where you got it. So, if God wants to take you to the next level, he has to show you where you’re not fully developed yet in your present capacity and typically, to do with the heart. It has to do with something you don’t know. I’ll put a hand over here. It has to do with the skill that you lack, something you don’t know, or an element of character you’re going to have to develop. Those are the three areas that are constantly being stretched during a process. This material is like a fast track. This is after 40 years of studying it. This puts you into a couple of hours of how to do it. Becoming unstoppable, discover the agreements to shape your destiny, always thought that was an interesting title because when people go through these processes in life, these processes, they don’t always end up going here to demonstration. They sometimes get stuck and frequently get stuck when you’re in agreement with the wrong thing because when you’re down here, you’re vulnerable. You’re stupid. You’ll never make it. Oh, prophecy doesn’t even work and you become cynical.

Now, what I’m telling you is a lot of revival people, when God was taking them from the anointing and the presence and all stuff into demonstration, they didn’t recognize they had to go into business. They had to go into all the world. They thought they were going to go into supernatural lifestyle like the revival they were in it. No, the revival you’re in, you got to unpack it and take it out there. And not knowing how to do it, they become bitter or atrophied in the revival. They become perpetual revival people instead of people that actually manifest stuff. Does that make sense? The 7 mountains. Is there an eraser for this? Is it the other side? I got it. Bill, could you, yeah, this is it. Let me give you a Bible verse. You guys okay with what I’m saying so far? I mean you guys are obviously okay with this.

So, I’m going to talk about doing some business supernaturally. Doing business supernaturally. It works. This last year, by year and a half ago Lord gave me an idea. I made a million dollars with that idea last year. It was a business. So, what I’m talking about isn’t theoretic. I do ministry but I also do business. I do a little bit of both. I like doing both, because where you got to go is both. You’re called to walk in the anointing, the presence of God. That’s why you’re in a church like this, an environment like this. That’s why laying hands on you in anointing and prophecy is so powerful. But now I got to tell you, don’t make the mistake a lot of people make and disconnect from the fact that there’s a lot of pragmatics that go into mastery if you’re going to make money or have an influence in culture, and it’s not going to look like it’s spiritual when you’re doing it.

I’ll give you an example. Covid hits. Do you want to know who made money and who went out of business? People that had digital competency made money and people that didn’t went bankrupt. One simple thing. Build a list all of you need to master this skill because you have to have sales, to have to have sales you have to have customers, to have members of the church,you’re going to have to have visibility, you’re going to have to have people coming to visit the church you’re going to have to have something that goes on. To have sales, to have customers it’s a very simple Jewish formula you have to have a list. You have to be thinking in terms of building a list. Build a list. Why would you do that? Because everywhere you go, you’re an evangelist of ideas. You’re either winning souls, you’re evangelizing people with other ideas that will change their life. Hopefully, you’re in a business that is going to help people and not rip them off and make them sick. Therefore, you want to evangelize them with your ideas. Whether it’s a health product, a service, or a beautifying process, you’re evangelizing. You’re sharing some kind of entrepreneurial skill and good news.

Now listen to me. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are the patriarchs of the whole story of Israel. You’re not dealing with a group of rabbis. You’re dealing with three generations of Jewish entrepreneurs. Here’s a radical shift. You’re not dealing with three generations of Elijah wilderness prophets. We always think of spirituality in the most extreme and bizarre entities. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were all intergenerational marketplace guys. God chose marketplace fathers in order to build a nation. Should give you a hint is what he’s going to do to restore the nations. Were they prophets? Yeah, I can show you verses that I’ll show you Abraham’s a prophet, but they’re not primarily identified as such. They’re called patriots. They’re called founding fathers. Your founding fathers of nations are people that have an intimate walk with God that are able to function in a secular environment and take territory away from the devil, curate it, and cultivate it and turn it back to God as occupied kingdom territory.

List building is how you set up a net to catch the fish for your harvest. Two most important things I can tell you right now for the future. Is every one of you leads to learn how to build a list of people who are interested in what you have to say? Who is your audience? Who’s interested in your product? Who isn’t interested in it? You want to focus on the harvest that’s right. You want to focus on the people that God gives you. Your future influence with the gospel is going to be with the fish that God sends into your net. Your net and your fish comes out of your list build. You have to have a list building strategy. That’s the first thing. The second thing is like unto it. The second thing is what’s your relationship with your list. The two most important things I can tell you is build a list and have a great relationship with the list. You got to love your people. It’s like a pastor’s got to love the church. You got to love your business. Think of it like a ministry. You got to love your customers. You got to love the people God‘s why, because you’re going to model Jesus to them. You’re going to lead them to Jesus. You’re going to help them, so thereforelove your customers. Find out who they are, get their names, pray over them, figure out what are their needs, and how can I meet them? Welcome to the secret sauce of being an entrepreneur.

Finding a need and filling it for a profit. That’s the Jewish formula. List build and then it’s your relationship with your list. When COVID hit, people that had lists and had relationships could innovate and stay in business. People that didn’t were looking to government bailouts. “My people perish for lack of knowledge”. And lack of knowledge right now is you sometimes, many of you. How many of you for instance have a list? If you have 1,000 or 2,000 people on a list, I can show you multi-millionaires that are just dealing with a list of 2,000 people. Third thing, if you’re going to list build and have a relationship with a list, you’re going to have to create an opt–in. Bill does it. Bill’s saying to you, I’ve got 7 things you can learn. I’m going to help you with your business practice. He’s modeling it. Everybody take your phone out and dial this in. What’s he doing? He’s helping build a list. Why? Because he wants to help you.

He can’t help you if you walk out of here and say, well, that was good. Because you got to have an ongoing conversation with people that are going to take you through the conscious confidence process. Till you’re demonstrating. That’s what a mentor does. It’s what a rabbi does. They walk you through the process. You’re going through the contradiction. Apply it apart. The business is terrible. It’s perfect. Got to go through that phase to get to the next one. Personally, in these four phases, do you know when I show up or when I enjoy coming along, it’s a weird thing. I don’t like coming along at this phase. I don’t like coming along this phase. Everybody’s, oh they’re having a party. I like coming along at that phase because I’m a hero then. They’re ready to quit and give up. They’re one if the prophecy is real and I show up and go, perfect. Everything’s executive. Thank God you’re finally getting here. Now, we can do something.
