2023 Will Be Great If YOU Make It Great.

I have some points I’d like to share with you concerning this New Year of 2023. Consider where to focus on what God has made you a direct steward.

1. Focus more on what God is saying to you and less on the latest buzz or story on the internet. Remember, podcasts and newscasts make their money off of fake news cycles till real news shows up.

2. Focus primarily on what you have authority over and less on what you have no power over. Be clear on what you have direct control over and indirect control over.

We’re talking about jurisdictions. You have spiritual and personal jurisdiction over things close to you.
You have indirect authority over what is far from you. Your greatest influence over things at a distance is prayer! Once you pray, drop it and focus on what you have power over.

You have authority in your geography where your state and local churches and government and schools and mayors and sheriff resides.

You have authority over your business or office or desk and your house and family.

You have authority over everything you think, say, do, and feel.

You have no direct authority over Washington, Trump, DeSantis, the U.S. Economic policy, Davos, China, Brazil or Russia, or Ukraine.

Seriously. This is the year to focus on what God has made you a direct steward of. Pray for that which you have indirect authority over. Don’t obsess over things God didn’t put you in charge of. Manage your garden well, and heaven will expand it.

This will take discipline and self-control.
