The Supernatural Meaning of the Hebrew New Year 5783

Lance: Greetings and welcome to the show. This is the week of Rosh Hashanah. Rosh Hashanah is of course the Hebrew New Year which for people that follow that particular vein of thought. See the year as interpreted in terms of certain times and seasons that lock into the Hebrew calendar. You say, well, what does that to do with me? Well, it has a lot to do with you. If as a Judeo-Christian person you believe that these, that Passover Pentecost and the feast, we’re in right now are all prophetically designed by God in the Bible to correspond with events that happened historically. 

During Passover, the Jewish people 2000 years ago were busy celebrating the Old Testament feast of when Israel left Egypt under Moses and here the actual fulfillment of the feast was Jesus and the last supper and his death on the cross which would be a historical political event that ended up in retrospect, fulfilling the actual meaning of Passover. So, the Passover that happened thousands of years earlier in Jewish history became fulfilled. It was a type of foreshadowing of the lamb of God being slain for the sins of the world. What a powerful, you can’t make that stuff up and we’re not trying to read something in. This is what makes Christianity and the theology of the Bible so stupendous and profound. And what makes the intellectual snubbing and condescending layers of the Sam Harris’s and Christopher Hitchens. So, actually superficial and well easy to ignore when you are an experiential believer who encounters the power of God in the Bible and then opens it up and realize the layers and fathoms of interconnected narrative that line up without you having to stretch something out of context. Boom.

They had to put the blood of a lamb on the doorpost so that they could exit pharaoh’s control over their lives and then Christ says, this is my blood, my body given to you, the lamb of God so that you could be delivered from the house of bondage from sin, Satan, and death itself, I will emancipate you. And then, three days later, they could not find the body. I mean, the Romans would have loved to produce the body. The Jews would have loved to produce the body. No onecould find it and his cowardly disciples were hiding for fear of the Jews. Certainly, they didn’t go rescue the body and hide it. What happened to that body? According to Christian tradition, Jesus appeared to the disciples.

Now, think about this. If Jesus appeared to the disciples and for period of 40 days evidently after his resurrection, he appeared to them. It must have been more than just a hallucination that happened once eating magic mushrooms and in a room hiding out. This was for 40 days. They were together with an encounter, with someone who was whipped to death, pierced through his nail, hands and feet. Obviously, he didn’t just recover and convinced them he looked healthy. This was a resurrected being in front of them. Think about the claims that Christianity has. These men, if they agreed together to lie about his resurrection. I could see them doing that maybe to keep his teachings alive and then go off and retire and travel the world, but these men went to their death. Some of them fled alive. Matthew was skinned alive in India. A Burned alive, drowned. They were beheaded. At any point, an individual who is zealous for a teacher and wants to keep his myth alive might make some stories up. He’s not going to go for forty in pain and suffering travelling the world over a myth and then die of violent death.

Now a lot of levels, the story of Christianity endures the scrutiny of the test. But what I’m saying to you is as we are this week in this Rosh Hashanah Feast of Trumpets, Yom Kippur and all that.And if you’re watching this broadcast in an evergreen four minutes a week or two later, you’re in the season of another feast. Every year we’re going to go through it again and every there’s a recalibration of God‘s cosmic clock. Because the way that he set up the Passover and the Pentecost and the Feast of Tabernacles, which is where we are heading into in the September–October cycle. Every year these are lunar cycles which makes them scientifically fixated on the arithmetic of the position of the moon to the earth.

So, it’s just some kind of a random smoke coyote and then come up with a cosmic date. It’s literally always arithmetically calculated to the orbit of the moon around the earth. The feast days fall into perfect precision alignment with the lunar calendar and this was the way the Jewish feast days were established. So, we’re dealing with the mathematical formula that God put into the time periods of the Jews. So, the Gentile world which operates on another calendar now has to kind of like juggle a little bit. Because as you know the New Year is January, boom, the ball comes down Time Square if you’re in the United States and everybody it’s kind of stupid way to start the year off drunk and vowing that you’re going to lose weight and be healthier next year.That’s how Gentiles do it. But thoughtful Christians realize that the New Year on the Gregorian calendar may start in January. But the Jewish calendar tells us the New Year is beginning now and that means a new cycle of God‘s dealings. We even have the years calculated by the of 5.What is it? 5, 8. What is it? 5871 or 5783 actually.

It’s like a zip code 5783. So, I can remember when it was 5777, because that was the first year, I discovered the meaning of the Hebrew years in conjunction with the calendar of feast days. I was in Jerusalem when I was confronted with this reality that in the year 2016. It was the year of the election with Trump and I remember studying the 5777, because I had to substitute myself for Chuck Pierce. Now Chuck Pierce is a well-known American prophet, who every year he has his feast gathering and his prophets come in to Denton. He has his friends come in and people he trust minister and they talk about the coming year. Chuck’s central thesis is an exegesis of the 5777, 5778.

Anyway, so I got a call from Tom Hess who is in charge of a big feast in Jerusalem and I was flying out back to the United States and he called me up. He said, ‘I have a problem my main speaker tonight isn’t showing up, Chuck Pierce. Could you please fill in form?’ And Tom negotiates like Jews do, it’s like Abraham. They start off with, they don’t give you the whole request at one time, they get your commitment. I said, ‘Well, I mean I’ve been ministering all week, I’m kind of I don’t know what, I could how bad is.’ He goes, ‘Well, people are coming in tonight. It would be a big favor if you could fill in for him.’ I fill in. I said, ‘I’ll fill in for Chuck tonight.’ Then I’ll be able to fly out after. He said, ‘Oh, the other thing is everyone’s coming in to hear him talk about prophetically what he sees for the next year coming based on the year 5777.’I said, ‘Everyone’s coming in to hear that?’ He goes, ‘Yeah, I mean you could talk about what you want but they’re actually going to be wanting to know what’s going to happen in the year based on the Hebrew meaning of the year. If you can pray about it, we’d love to hear what the Lord gives you.’

If he had started with that, I probably would have declined speaking. I said, ‘I don’t do that. Chuck does that. I like to hear what he has to say.’ Well, this happens in life. Sometimes, Godsets you up and you got to do what you got to do and you don’t have the luxury of getting out of it. So, I got on my knees at the Mount Zion Hotel that week. I had a lot of activity in the Mount Zion Hotel. I’ll tell you. A lot of stress and I knelt down. I said, oh God. I started looking up the Hebrew meaning of the 5s and the 7s and the 70s, because it’s 5777. So, it’s actually the seventieth year 7th day of a cycle. I realized it kind of like if you’re in Las Vegas ding, ding, ding,ding it’s like having three cherries line up. You got the 5777, very rare that it happens could be like a 5888 or 5999 and it’s something interesting about that.

So, I’m looking at the 777, the number 7 means a sword that is upside down jammed in the ground with a crown on top. It’s the word 7 is also the word Zeon, Zion, Zayan and it the position of it literally means that it’s the swords and has to do with the word coming forth. I felt I heard the Lord say, this is the beginning of the season of the clashing of swords. Gonna bring my little picture here. Now you got Donald Trump over here. We got a Biden and Obama. You’ve got the Biden–Obama era of how the Democrats have been, basically I’m not going to get into politics either you get it or you don’t get it. But for those of you listening to a podcast now I’ve got little puppets. I got my Biden and Obama thing here, then Donald Trump comes along hugging the American flag.

You have a populist movement that spears the agenda of the left. Look at this. Look at this great artwork here. boy, if you watch this, bingo. And it was the beginning of the year of the boom,boom, boom, boom, boom. Clashing of swords, I called it exactly right and Trump would be the guy that would actually be the president much to the shock and dismay of everyone. Let’s see what randoms quote can we have for the president here?

Trump Voice: I love the First Amendment. Nobody loves it better than me. Nobody. Who uses it more than I do?

Lance: Indeed, that’s how Kevin got taken off of Twitter and Facebook and everything else,because he was so good at communicating. The left had to take him off the air. So, now we are still in the clashing of swords but we’ve evolved down from 777 to 778 to 779 to 780. And now we’re in it’s hard, here we are and we’re in the next iteration of a 5783. So, as we stand at this moment here, what does this year pretend. I will just to you, the clashing of swords is now moving to a new season, a new phase if you will, in which the exposure is coming to the fruit and the root that what has been hidden will be revealed. What has been planted is now maturing and what you’re seeing in America is the misery of policy coming from the planting of ideas.

We’re watching how culture is now groaning under the weight of the new Gods, the new gates, the new authorities, the new priesthood which is the woke religion has actually the secular replacement for God. It’s a new morality based on new moral demands and blasphemy laws. You can’t say certain words with blasphemy consequences. You get exile cast out of the synagogue, the synagogue of commerce, the synagogue of social media. I had 200,000 people in mycongregation on YouTube and I was cast out because they didn’t like my religion. I basically was preaching stuff that the YouTube priesthood didn’t like and so they excommunicated me and cut me off from my people.

If I made a living off of YouTube, they were basically trying to do like Sharia law trying to crush me economically so that I would be a vagabond and broke, wandering the earth as a punishment because I dare to blaspheme the Gods of pervert wokeness. Fortunately, I didn’t put all my eggs in the YouTube basket and so I was able to survive that. But I want you to understand something. We’re living in the days of the clashing of swords and then the most recent iteration of it is going to be, the full cycle of exposure and the full cycle of fruit. Meaning stuff’s going to, people going to taste the consequences of ideas and there’s going to be decisions made to accept or reject.

Now, having said that, I’m going to go into some world events. What I like to Do is to take the word of God and because like I said, Jesus comes along in Passover. It becomes a historic event in fulfillment of a theological thing. Well, he ends, the historic event actually becomes the actual meaning of the Old Testament Passover story. Pentecost comes 50 days later and that was the feast following Passover. There was a Pentecost and there would be a time of waving the sheafs of the first fruits of barley before the priest it would be the period of the rains coming down for the harvest etcetera. And it endup being on the day of Pentecost. The day that also commemorates when the law was given on Mount Sinai in the Old Testament and God came down and visited Israel in the cloud upon the mountain and gave his commandments. On the day of Pentecost, there was like a 120. Not many.

If you think about the whole redemption of mankind coming down to one solitary preacher claiming to be God with a miracle ministry getting killed. They can’t find his body. He claims to be resurrected, talking to certain people. And there they’re gathering together desperately praying in an upper room. The Jewish Sanhedrin roaming the streets looking for the radicals, the insurrectionists, trying to mop them up. You’ve got Rome marching the streets also keeping peace after a near riot with that happened 50 days earlier with the death of this Galilean Rabbi.And now, they’re just basically trying to restore order and the Christians, the new movement is up there praying desperately stretched out before God and then the sound of a rushing mighty wind comes in.

Instead of having Mount Sinai with the cloud and the thunder and God‘s voice at the top, you see fire come down upon the heads of those new believers in Messiah, in Yeshua, in Jesus as Messiah. And these new believers are now filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The spirit of God comes into them and what the law that came on Sinai could not do in that it was written on tablets of stone. The spirit of God came and wrote on the tablets of the human heart. That which would be pleasing to God. And with the power to do it. The ability to obey and to live a new level of life you might say to be the walking fulfillment of God inhabiting man and not only restoring him to salvation but empowering him to proclaim salvation. So, this is what Pentecost was. The fulfillment of the Old Testament Feast.

I’m saying that to you because right now during this season we’re heading into this and we’re walking through this period of Rosh Hashanah, which is the beginning of the New Year, a new cycle commences. And along with that comes the feast of trumpets, which is a period of festivity in Israel with the proclamation of the trumpets. Then there’s the beginning of the New Year, the head of the year which is Rosh Hashanah and then it goes into 10 days of awe culminating in Yom Kippur, which is the atonement for a nation. God not only has an atonement for your soul,he has an atonement for your house which is Passover is for you and your house. Then he has an atonement for nations. Nations are being weighed right now during this period according to Jewish tradition.

The feast of the day of atonement, Yom Kippur is when God determines what happens to nations. And the Jews would have a ceremony for their nation on Yom Kippur, where they would bring two goats in to the sanctuary. One goat would be sacrificed as a sacrifice. The other goat would have the sins of the nation laid on it. They’d confess the sins and the nation would be andthe nation’s sins would be transferred to the goat and the goat would be whacked in the butt and take off into the wilderness and it’s called the escape goat. Do you ever hear about becoming the scapegoat? Comes out of Yom Kippur, the day of atonement but you didn’t know that.

So, the goat scurries off into the wilderness and off it goes carrying the curses of the nation so that the nation doesn’t bear them. Jesus became both. He became the scapegoat that God put all the sins upon so that we could escape judgement and the of the other goat was the price Jesus paid as the scapegoat for us. So, we could escape so that the sacrifice of that blood would be there. Actually, it’s interesting is the blood of bulls and goats and sheep. Lot of times we make goats to be a symbol, because of sheep nations and goat nations. There’s various symbology in the Bible. But goats actually were part of the sacrifice which is the type of the blood of Christ too.

You follow me so far. We have not seen the fulfillment yet. In Passover, we saw Jesus fulfill it.In Pentecost, we saw the upper room 120 become a movement of what is it now, maybe probably around 500 million Pentecostals around the world. But where’s the fulfillment of the third feast?The third feast is the feast of, we called the Feast of Tabernacles. It includes Trumpets, New Year, Yom Kippur and 7 days of celebration after that. When the Jewish people sit in booths and they celebrate the end of the seasons. So, you have this unusual period of time right now in front of us which is I believe being fulfilled at this moment. Now in the remaining five minutes I’m going to give you a geopolitical fulfillment of how these feasts are actually being fulfilled in our day I come back to the 5783.

We are still in the clashing of swords. But we’re now coming to the full cycle where there is going to be a manifestation of the consequences of the choices and there’s going to be decisions made that are going to cleave one way or the other. And you could say that the Lord is bringing new resources and new hope to the body of Christ. We’ve gone through a lot of disappointment, a lot of struggles. Because it seems as though the system is rigged so strongly that we just keep on getting pushed down and pushed back and push down and push back and we’re praying for a breakthrough. Well, here’s some interesting news. As we are focused perhaps narcissistically on ourselves in the west, the United States, Americans, particularly. The story really isn’t about us.

There’re things happening in the world that are God‘s finger moving things around on the cosmic clock because God‘s plan is that there should be an end-time outpouring. What you’re seeing now is in Italy, Georgia Melanie has just won a significant victory over all other parties on the platform of God family and country. She along with Hungary and Poland are pushing back on the woke tyranny of the elite managerial class of the European Union beast system. This beast system is when you don’t have any borders anymore and you’re one government with one economy under one culture. And remember, I said there’s a woke religion. Well, the woke religion is in Europe and it’s imposing its agenda environmentalism and the destruction of the nuclear family and the promotion of transgender and LGBT morality is requiring every country to sign off on these liberties and something’s changing. The nations are pushing back.

What I want you to do is I’ve got a clip here which, how long is this clip I don’t know. But I think it’s like around 2 & 1/2 minutes. I only got 3 minutes & 20 seconds, but I want you to hear the conversation about this. Because I believe Christian nationalism is going to end up being the thing the devil hates most, because these countries are not trying to be full tilt Boogie Pentecostal Evangelicals, but they’re saying God and my family and my country are being destroyed and they want to fight back. I want to play this segment from the War Room Ben Harnish and Steve Ben and talking about the political development. Listen to the secular conversation and I’ll come back and give you 30 seconds of summary. Because I want to cover the rest of this in our next broadcast.

If you look at what’s going on in some of theSwedish, if you look at what’s going on in the United States. You connect these dots. They’re going to say, well, hold it the started as populist nationalists. Bolsonaro is an even major evangelical Christian. A huge, these street demonstrations have a strong, very strong Judeo-Christian underpinning to it.

What the media’s going to do very quickly is say, what Italy did is because she expanded it and her thing was God, Homeland, and family that this now taking the Trump movement and Nigel Farage and all these things that had at least some secular part to it. But were populous nationalist.They’re going to say now it’s gone next level and this is the rise of Christian nationalism. And she will be identified along with Orban as being either farther ahead than Trump is in the MAGAmovement. You watch you watch for it. This is why they’re going to come for her with the power of ten or what they came after Orban. And the reason is that God bless Hungary, but it’s the size of North Carolina, right.

It’s very important. He’s tremendous but it’s still a small country with it punches way above their weight. As we said from day one and he punches way above their weight and thinking this through. Poland’s Poland. Poland’s got its own issues. Obviously, now which geo strategically locate and the polls are fantastic. Italy’s different. Italy is at the center of the Judeo-ChristianWest and considered Athens, Jerusalem, and Rome. And when you have someone like her that ran on a platform like this that could unite the country, they’re going to roll hard at her. Very veryhard because they’re going to make the transition and they’re going to get more nervous. Chris will say, hey, hang on. It was bad enough when he had Bannon and these guys. Most populous nationalist.

Lance: There you go. There you go. These guys are more prophetic than most charismatic prophets. The Christian nationalism is going to be what the devil puts in his sights. Because it’s the new face of populism that’s saying you guys are against God and values and you’re in an open assault on culture and we’re not going to let you win. It’s going to be a very interesting battle. I’m going to come back in the next episode and we’re going to pick it up with this and replace it with that segment, because you’re going to love what we’re going to do next.
